It's a boring perk. I don't like it. So I don't use it.
-
The cloud in the sneak peek looks like it expands incredibly slowly. I am worried about this.
-
It's probably because they are very bugged and Charlottes perks just kinda don't work? Don't blame anybody for not wanting to deal with that.
-
This is a really bad way to dole out content.
I work at a job. I do not have the time to sit around and watch people play this game with the client open so I can hopefully slam in a code before a hundred other people.
-
I'd watch this dudes vids if he didn't take up 70% of the screen. I don't want to look at you, pal, I want to look at the video game.
-
Nah, it's fine. Let people play with their friends, they're having fun.
What I think is important to change is the perspective that you have to get a 4k every game. Or that you can't have fun without getting one.
-
I'd rather they buff or change the other perks to make them as strong as this combo or at least more interesting
-
The sinking feeling in your gut when you hook your first survivor and two-three gens inexplicably pop.
-
Playing the same build every game is very boring. Especially because someone told you it's "meta".
-
Depends on the map. Last time I played hawkins I think I broke upwards of 14 pallets.
Thanks, brutal strength!
-
I love clown as he is. I think he'd be great with only minor buffs (passive bottle regen, .5s intoxication duration). I'm scared they're going to ruin my favorite killer

Swf is truly the problem with this game.
The idea that a team can communicate over a large distance without being heard by the killer is completely unfair.
On top of that, mmr is off and every game is a rainbow of players.
I typically don't mind playing vs. groups. They have altruistic tendencies that can be exploited and that's more enjoyable than playing vs. four stealth players. This group was I believe ranks 1-2-1-5. I am a rank 4 killer, for reference. I'm also not very good at the game at all
-
Everything is a "crutch". It's a meaningless adjective.
Perks are a crutch. Killer powers are a crutch.
-
I think survivors should get a multiplicative distraction bonus for every second they are on hook within the killer's terror radius. Say it starts out at 100/s, then ramps up to 200/s all the way up to 5k or so along with the struggle timer.
Survivors need better BP gain and I believe in rewarding more than penalizing.

Clown can create plenty of pressure. Most players using Clown simply don’t slug enough with him. Getting 2 downs in quick succession, and being in a third chases creates all the pressure Clown needs.
I don't like slugging. Making somebody sit on the ground in timeout and not letting them play the game is very boring for both parties imo. Also this advice just goes for every killer.
-
It used to annoy me, but now I just meet them and get a couple free hits. No big deal. The tbagging used to bother me as well, but after you've seen it a thousand times it's not really such an issue.
-
I think I have like 14 on my main (clown) and more on trapper. Even trying to avoid them because they're so expensive they just pile up. Sometimes I'll bring one to mess with people and not use it. L, but I don't really get the purpose.
-
When I see people who are obviously very bad- I let them leave and I soft throw to make it fun for them. As a rank 4 killer I play vs. a lot of groups and sometimes these very good players will drag along their low rank friend. It'd be easy to lean on the weak link and get a 4k off it, but that's hardly fun for anybody.
Unless they are disrespectful. Then it's murder o clock.
-
I have played against a lot of astonishingly good survivors and they tbag about as often as bad ones.
-
Soul guard can't hurt you if you simply do not run hex perks.
-
This game's poor performance on consoles is truly baffling. Look at the textures. The trees are actually incredibly pixilated. Next time you're in the Doctor map check out the white stone near the exit gates.
-
If someone kidnaps Victor, then aren't you essentially in a 1v3? The remaining survivor can't do anything with him on them. I don't really see that as that bad.
-
I have the same difficulty sometimes and clown is my most played killer. The opacity could stand to be turned down for him but not survivors.
-
If I pick up on somebody playing goofy but not disrespectfully I'll farm with them. Give them pallet drops and stuff. It's not fun to play vs. someone who isn't trying and it's not fair to the other survivors so I'll write that game off as a gimmie. No big deal.
I will however always take one sacrifice in payment.
-
I don't use either of those perks and I do pretty well.
-
Weird.
I'll drop the survivor and walk far enough away to make it clear that I'm not going to attack them. I get that some people are rude like this but it's rather ignorant to paint everyone with the same brush.
-
I would rather play vs fun players like this and have an enjoyable game than survivors stealthing across the map or doing gens in three seconds. For this reason Ash players always receive hatch.
-
At night my wait times are almost non existent on killer. During the day they take much longer, so I play survivor during the day. Suggest just playing both sides.
-
...... So just better dead hard?
-
I like thrill trems, pop, agitation and sloppy.
I know this isn't optimal, but thrill let's me know where to go to use pop, agitation gets me closer to the gen I want to pop and sloppy because I just like it.
-
Game pass ultimate? I have the game thru gamepass but I don't know anything about the ultimate version.
-
I would rather reward the survivor for keeping the killer busy than penalizing the killer. It's not fun and nobody likes it, but sometimes you just have to get that Object out of the game.
-
It's just depressing. Usually it's because i got bodied by a stack of survivors.
What's even worse is when you pip up afterwards, ensuring that you get tormented for the indefinite future.

A cementary map would be awsome
This is so obvious and so good I cannot understand why it hasn't been done.
-
I often think about a map that takes theming from Bioshock's rapture. Rusty leaking pipes, underwater vistas glimpsed through grimy portholes and stuff.
-
I've seen this a few times and always wondered about the mentality of the bubba in these circumstances. I play a lot more killer than survivor and babysitting someone on a hook can be effective- but it's a very dull way to play the game. Dbd is one of the only games I can think of where you can win and not feel satisfied with the game at all because you had to play a particular way to win.
-
I would just have the intoxicated effect last for .5s for the cloud +1s for a direct hit. The duration is too short.
-
Is playing plague the secret to depipping? I know my next purchase then.
-
I agree completely. The onus is on the killer to make the game happen, essentially. It feels like a burden much of the time.
As survivor when I get hooked or die it's like well. It's the killer, they're monsters with supernatural abilities. Makes sense they'd get me. But as killer when you're vs. a group or even just a very good survivor it's many times more frustrating cuz you should be able to murder these folks. But they're just playing around with you. Feels more powerless than survivor ever does.
-
How are you talking to these people and asking them these things?
As a killer when I'm playing vs. a group that just wants to goof off I'll farm with them. Give them pallet drops and stuff. Murdering a bunch of people who aren't really trying isn't fun for me. And it's nice to have a relaxing goofy game every once in a while.
-
Who's got time to break walls? I'm in a chase. I'm hooking a dude. I'm desperately trying to get value out of Pop. I'm breaking every single pallet in the map, one by one.
And then break a wall, for what purpose? Most of them just let survivors loop me better.
-
They look like very different sorts of games. I don't see any indication of a progression system in that game.
-
The first (and only) time I got myself off the hook on my own was when I was being face camped by a trapper. Back onto the hook immediately. Very depressing.
-
These are kind of all over the place. - Undying and all ears don't need buffs. Otherwise they look really good and inventive. I especially like your iron maiden one.
-
I don't know anything about consoles, but it sounds like an input issue.
....."boost mode"?
-
Eh. Just give me bonus bp for it and that'll be fine. For me 7k or so would do it.
-
I'd rather play vs. five deathslingers than be trapped in Freddy's House of Tedium for a single match. At least slinger has to do stuff to make his power work.
-
I actually really love agitation. It can get you in front of flashlight saves pretty often.
-
Right click on your desktop, select the nvidia option. From there increase the gamma and brightness to your needs, increase saturation slightly. Do not hit accept, just leave it like that and launch dbd. When you're done playing go back to that screen and hit cancel to preserve your previous settings.
I prefer my monitor colors saturated and dark, I find that I can see very little without fiddling with the settings.
-
It's different. They have different priorities than solo survivors that you can exploit. They'll often put themselves in a bad spot to save their friends, or take unnecessary protection hits. It's typically possible to tell if you're playing vs. a group depending on how they behave.
Additionally they're less inclined to d/c if you count down their decisives so that's nice.
