  • A direct hit with a bottle should apply more slowdown to survivors.

Echt jetzt Oktoberfest?

  • You accused Killers of being bad if they can't win against swf and talk about playing with friends.

You should already know how to punish camping Killers. Tunnel gens and get out. If your team throws the whole game to save 1 guy.. well a tactic is not dumb if it works.

  • Tunneling is if you ignore everything to focus one specific survivor.

If they run straight into you or self care under the hook it's not tunneling. Same goes for baiting BT-Hits or using OoO. If a survivor makes themself a Target it's not tunneling, too.

You can ignore them. But that's up to you.

  • 1vs4. Killer perks have to be stronger. So no, bad idea.

But We gonna Farm forever could need a little QoL-change.

  • It's the other way around. If you need swf to win you aren't that good.

  • Let me guess, you never really played killer? If not, do it. If you know how the "enemy" works, you will get better at surviving.

Most stuff you write are just exagerrations. Don't forget you are playing 4vs1. The killer has to be stronger in a 1vs1 scenario. Play swf if you want easier games.

Your Perk Build is not the best, but still okayish. But you can switch Dance with Me and Windows for something more useful. In your case I would suggest Iron Will and Spine Chill.

And if you are raging, take a break. As someone who played Dota 2 a lot, let me tell you, once you are tilted, you should stop playing. Calm down, play some relaxing stuff or enjoy family time. Then go back and try again.

  • Console loading times are long. That's the only complaint I have. Otherwise I really enjoy crossplay.

Can anyone explain more about how nurse was in the past before she got Nerfed. Was she overpowered and really needed it or was she fine with counters?

When she was released she had 3 Blinks and 115% Movementspeed.

Later she was where she is now, slower as a running survivor and 2 Blinks default and without the CD. After that, the addon rework and the slight rework to her basekit nerf came.

Her old addons allowed some really strong combinations like 5 Blinks, which was pretty broken. So I was excited once they announced, they would change the addons. The only good addons now are the ones, which helps with recharge and fatigue. And the addon, that makes survivor scream if you blink through them. The other addons are.. well, let's say, questionable at best or for meme builds.

Her basekit was fine. Learning Nurse and getting gud at her takes some time. Against decent survivors, you would still have problems. But since a lot of survivors run in straight lines against a Nurse, she could be seen as "too strong". Line of Sight Blockers + Mindgames (being unpreticable etc.) are the strongest counters.

I have adapted to the nerf, but my muscle memory sometimes slips up and I blink after 5.9 sec Recharge and lose a precious blink and maybe the game. And now the dedicated servers and all the bugs (deadzones for example) only increased her difficulty.

  • We can talk about that, once they found a way for a good matchmaking.

  • How many 2nd chances do you need?

In that scenario the killer won the game. You and your team failed at doing gens and opening the gates. You had enough chances to win.

    Hey,

  • Sometimes those gens are hard to find on indoormaps. But as someone who played a lot of solo queue.. I don't think that was the reason.

Did you at least suicide on hook?

See, I can understand that point of view cause it does give a massive advantage for when SWF do tryhard. Honestly I have no idea how the devs could make swf more balanced or even if its possible.

Showing who is in an SWF would be great, so the killer can equip better addons or let the killer have a higher priority with map choice.

  • How about a new FNAF thread? /s

  • Play soloqueue if you want to play with bots. /s

    Only mobile has bots atm.

  • PCler hier.

    @Demonl3y

What about a profile tells you that the team is SWF for certain? If it's not certain, it's an assumption.

And play styles are not always a dead giveaway. I played exclusively as solo for 3 years before finally playing SWF a few months ago, and I can tell you that there were many games over those 3 years where solo folks were being way too altruistic. It can be because of challenge or just how they play. It's all an assumption.

If the team has the same user names and is dressed alike, your assumption is likely a correct one, but it's very difficult to be 100% sure, meaning that all we can say is that we assume based on whatever.

Checking friendlists. Easiest way to prove if it's an SWF.

  • @Splinterverse

You can check profiles on Steam. So saying that killer mains "assume" is just wrong. And even if you don't check it, there are certain playstyles that are dead give aways that you are facing a swf. Overaltruism for example, where they throw the whole game just to get an unhook (bonuspoints if they blame the killer for it).

But you list some interesting points, so props to you.

  • @Rotzbert said:

  • Survivors even come to her to show affection, so she doesn't need tracking perks. Pretty busted, imo.

  • People even run out of the exit with an active bear trap.

Did you check the profile of this person? If they have nearly 0 Killer achievements, that's all you need to know to come to a conclusion.

  • Representation for the sake of representation is bad representation.

Passe dich dementsprechend an.

Du kaufst deinem Team damit weitere wertvolle Sekunden.

Vieles kommt aber auch mit Spielerfahrung. Das jetzt alles niederzuschreiben.. das wäre zuviel :D

  • Yeah, i want to know if it's swf or if they are on my block list. Otherwise those names and profile pics are funny.

Thats the problem. thats why its better for it to stay unknown. ‘better addons’ ‘switch’ . you killers have the audacity to talk like yall the one who has chances of losing most of your games

SWF gives an undenieable advantage, why shouldn't the killer be able to even the odds if he sees it's an SWF?

  • Checking player profiles to see who is a group is already possible. So why not make this information easier accessible?

I want to know if I have to use better addons or switch to another killer. lobbydodge because I don't want to play against a 4 man with my babywraith who has a daily.

SWF gives enough advantages, so at least a notification shouldn't be that much of a problem.

Now that I think about it, if it got a tweak where the aura blinding range was increased, it would kind of count the putrid oak offering. Right?

Yep, it would. But I don't see this offering often or use it.

Btw there is a cogwheel about the timestamp, where you can edit your post.

  • Maybe a little tweak, but otherwise It's okay where it is.

    But it's strong on indoormaps.

  • Mostly for dailys.

But I might use Moris for key-user, 4-man-swfs or people on my ignore list (who are/were toxic and/or useless).

In rare cases I just throw in a mori if I need to vent after a really bad round.

  • @IsJustMe said:

    Moin ,

  • Wish granted. Addons now spawn less frequently. Increased Mori-Spawnrate as compensation. /s

Addons for killers need to be more, since there is no way to keep them after a game (except blackward). Some killers even need addons to be playable (like the bag-addons for trapper).

    in g Comment by Xzan
  • Play a bit with the addon that shows you where you will land with your blinks. If you get a good feeling for it, stop using it. Otherwise you hinder yourself, because you only have space for 1 addon. And get a feeling for the recharge. Not having 2 blinks because you charged 0,1 sec to early feels pretty bad.

Next step is, to enter the mind of the survivor and pay attention to how they run. Survivors who know how to deal with a nurse will use LoS-blocker for example. Bad survivors will run in a straight line where you will get easy hits.

Accept the fact, that you don't have 4 survivors against you, but also dedicated servers, blink deadzones and bugs. And that you will lose a lot, especially on console.

After that, get a lot of "learning experience" so you can become a merciless teleporting killing machine.

  • So if your team refuses to do bones, why is the killer at fault? It's frustrating, but I blame the team for it, not the killer.

Noed is fine if you are in the lower ranks or learning a new killer. Otherwise it's just a failsafe if you can't end the game before the last gen is done (excluding endgamebuilds, where noed is legit).

Small Game should get a totem counter or a loud notification should play mapwide, once all totems are cleansed. That would help soloplayers a lot.

  • For every fnaf thread the chapter should get delayed for one month. Problem solved.

  • The perk itself is fine. During endgame it's annoying, since defending the hooked survivor is sometimes the only thing you can do as killer and BT guarantees in most cases a free escape.

Baiting a BT-Hit is fine, too, but don't complain about tunneling then, you had enough time to run away.

  • The perk creates bad habits for killers, because they can always fall back on it if they can't end the game before the last gen is done.

On the other side you have survivors who do 4/5 totems alone, but die because the rest of the team refuses to do totems. Another part of the survivors are somehow not using perks that help with totems or bring a map.

Bamboozle just means that you have to abandon the loop or drop the pallet early. Nothing wrong with it. If I may use your own words, you just suck, if you can't adapt to it.

Bloodlust was far stronger some time ago. It doesn't need any changes. And there is still a scenario where you are screwed without bloodlust. Play a 110% killer during endgame against a Survivor with Hope. Gl on catching them without Bloodlust.

  • For Survivor? Leader. I had games where those extra speed made the difference for cleansing a hex totem or opening an exit gate.

For Killer? Make your Choice. It comes with a DS-Timer and the unhooker somehow vanishes for a minute.

1 … 9 10 11 12 13 … 17
