Ever played CS:GO? If you get awp'ed 5 seconds into a round, that's how getting moried during the first 2 minutes of a trial feels.
Keys are powerful during endgame, Moris during early game. Both allow you to earn a cheap victory, because you skip a portion of the game and it allows you to fix mistakes.
3-genned yourself? Let 1 die, look for the hatch, 3man ez escape.
Can't create pressure? Tunnel the first hook and boom, space created.

So we will have the prob again as before. They didnt learnt from previous mistakes?
Well the fun of 2 highranks having ez games and boosting their 2 new friends vs the fun of one Killer who is getting a "learning experience". 4 is the bigger number. Case solved.
I hope they implement an unranked mode soon.

If someone is toxic and trying to get attention, just ignore it. One less who is doing gens.
Most toxic surv will get overconfident and that's the time where you strike. If you need to slug a lot, do it. Don't feel bad for playing dirty. By playing by the rules you are just handicapping yourself. You can even play with NOED. You say you are a babykiller, so NOED is fine for the beginning. But props to you, if you refuse to use it. Like DS, it's a perk which rewards failure, so relying on it, will hurt you in the long term.
If you think you can handle them, feel free to
tunnelgive them extra attention.I usually ignore the toxic survivors. But if I play Nurse or someone else I'm good with, well they wanted attention, now they get it. Bonuspoints if they complain in endgamechat.
-

So why should the killer be punished if survivors hookrush or refuse to do gens and stare at the (face)camping killer looking for an oppurtunity?
-
-
They did something similiar for Titanfall. All cheaters would be put into the same pool, where they could finally face opponents of the same "skill" level.
So why not.
-
Early Game: Moris.
Late Game: Keys.

so it's ok for survivors to kill themselves on hook to force killer to depip? Survivors can be as toxic as they want, but killers can't do anything?
I don't get your point, sorry. What has suiciding on hook to do with being toxic?
-
I think it would already help if you could use the 4th perk slot and still get the achievement. It's still a challenge, but a bit easier, at least for killer.
-
Facecamping 2 people for a safety pip? That's a bad idea.
We already had the victory cube long time ago, where hook stages and kills were used as a pip system for killers.

Actually, there would be a really simple solution to fix camping/tunneling. Starting a chase with a just unhooked survivor? -5000BP + camping the hook for 30 seconds, also -5000BP.
Problem solved
Do survivors get the same penalty for tunneling and camping a nearly finished gen instead of searching for a new one?

If the truly doesn't feel like playing that match yes it could be an option do you have any suggestions?
Put a timer (maybe 5 minutes?) on it and it's fine. Either the killer can open the gates or go into the basement where the entity will grab him and end the round.
-
I tried to argue with them. Doesn't work somehow. But my chat is now closed for 95% of the time.
This was a conversation (not word-for-word, but you get the idea) after a game where I got a 4k. 1 was dead, 1 was hooked, the other 2 tried the typical "I'm bait and the other goes for the save"- tactic, which didn't work and both went down. Gates were open.
"Why did you camp?"
"Exit Gates were open, why didn't you leave? You just fed me a 4k."
"Camper!"
"What else should I do, give you a free unhook?"
"You suck if you have to play this way. Camper!"
-
-
Even though I really hate to say it but i think toxicity is a reason why people play and enjoy this game.
-
Verschlungene Seele: 5 Stacks BBQ? Klar gerne.
-
An indicator, who is playing with friends would be a nice start. So the killer can bring better addons.
"But killers will abuse this and will use Iri-Hatchet huntress with ebony against 4 poor solos." And how is that different to an unprepared killer facing a death squad? It's just the other extreme side. (Or take it as a learning experience./s)
If MMR works, it should always search for the highest MMR in the group. Otherwise it just ends like the early dbd days, where red ranks bullied mid/lowrank killers while boosting their new friends. And you should get bonus MMR if you win against a SWF.
Maybe an actionspeeddebuff if they are a 4 man. (Duos are fine and if we penalize 3-man groups the random gets screwed.)
Bonus BP are always a nice to have. But there are killers who don't care about them.
Or, this is just a quick thought, killer gets free map choice or at least his offering gets more priority than the survivor offering.
-
From my experience: No. I still see some of the people i reported ingame.
Bhvr should just give us a confirmation that action has been taken if someone got a timeout/ban. (Without showing names of the offender)
-
Nothing specific. Either it catches my Interest or not. But if I have to choose a preference it's Balance stuff. And I like the unpopular opinions threads.
Even though i get annoyed if I see multiple topics with the same discussion. (Hello noed, ds, fnaf). And the generic stuff is nice to read sometimes.

Don't throw the whole 'We already have this so X wouldn't work' argument, it's old.
Although I said we're allowed different opinions, that argument really isn't the most constructive. It's the same logic with the Clown and Pennywise argument, we have two chainsaw killers, two stalking killers and the legion is inspired by GhostFace and we got GhostFace. So having another Wendigo wouldn't hurt.
It goes the other way around, too. Just because there are already killers who share some stuff, doesn't mean it's good, if we continue with that.
A group of masked people running around killing people reminds me more of the "The Purge" Movie and not Ghostface. But if you have a source that Legion was inspired by Ghostface.. well I would like to see it.
Pennywise could maybe work as some sort of shapeshifter.
Billy was part of the basegame, there was no indication, that the game would get this popular. Behaviour would have been really dumb to not get Leatherface in the game, just because they already have a chainsawkiller. Same argument for Ghostface and Myers.
Do you have any idea which power a wendigo should have? I know they are pretty agile in the game. But Pig and Demo already fill out that role with the charged attacks. Going low profile is already used by Pig and Ghostface. Blending in with the environment is already used by Claudettes and Wraith. Climbing and jumping over obstacles would break the game.
-
Last of us? Not even a horror game. Just another take on the zombie survival genre.
Until Dawn? Hag is already our Wendigo.
Outlast? No opinion on that.
FNAF? Yeah, if we have 500 more threads about it, we will surely get it. /s
I always prefer original chapters, but as long as a lincenced chapter is well made, why not?
-
Nice bias. And where did you get the 98%?
-
-
Just go to the other side of the map. Sometimes they get overconfident which will give you a chance to get a kill or 2.
-
Don't give toxic Players any kind of attention. Closing the Chat is the best you can do. The 1 nice conversation after 100 insults isn't worth it.
-
It's not genrushing, you are not good at creating pressure. (Even though map rng can be horrible sometimes)
It's not tunneling, you just made yourself a target by selfcaring under the hook.
It's fine to let someone die, if the others can escape.
DS and NOED create bad habits and hinder improvement because you can always fall back to it.
Suiciding on hook is fine, if your team is hookfarming you or not doing anything useful.
The Game is the best map.
We don't need more licensed stuff.
Behaviours art team is the real MVP.
-
There are indicators. Crows flying away, grass moving and you can even hear the footsteps but they require more attention if we compare it to other killers.
-
Sorry, but garage Killer made me laugh.
Ignore those entitled players. Block them and move on. If they messaged you nasty stuff, report them. Do not give them satisfaction by reacting to it. And don't argue with them.
-
Hex: 3 man Game.
Throw in a "The game" Offering and dc after the round starts.
(Watched this on YouTube but i can't remember the Video)
-
It should deactivate during endgame. Otherwise it would be abused to get free escapes.
-
Killrates are part of the balance. If I facecamp 2 people and maybe get another altruistic survivor, I have a 75% Kill rate.
I even depipped while getting a 3k, because of survivors who overextended during endgame. Again 75%, but it's not a win.
The stats were released during the Trapper tome and after they
slightly reworked the basekit ofnerfed Nurse. So basically there a lot of factors, which will impact the statistics. Just looking at killrates during the victoriy cube times was fine, but now it's not the right way to look at balance. There is so much more to look at like SWF rates or suicide on hooks, disconnect rates, Babydwights getting hatch etc.IIRC the red rank killer stats even showed matches against non redrank survivors. Having high kill rates against potatoes.. I don't need to comment further on that.

-
1) Perks that reward bad gameplay (Noed, DS etc.)
2) Nurse Basekit "rework"
3) the toxic part of the community

-
Oh look, another FNAF thread. It's not like we already have multiple threads about this topic.
-
Not interested and not needed. It's not even a horror game, just another take on the survival zombie genre. But I liked the chemistry between Joel and Ellie.
Behaviour has a great design and art team, the original stuff they create is usually better than the lincensed chapters.

How is it a nerf? Unless you camp the cages it shouldn’t affect you at all.
What about looping near a caged survivor? Or take maps with multiple levels like Piggys Map.
As long as it's working like the hook penalty if a survivor is near, the change is totally fine.
-
Killer Perks need to be stronger because of the 4vs1 aspect.
But a little buff for We're gonna farm forever would be nice.
-
Du kannst also nix ändern.

So its right to blame the killer, cause the Nurse did tunnel though there was obviously the chance to down another survivor easily. Tunneling isnt defendable.
Taking advantage of bad survivor plays isn't tunneling.

I think the "hate" would slow down a bit, if people would discuss in already existing topics instead of creating a new FNAF post every day. I mean, there is a search function for this forum. (This goes for other frequent topics, too)
We already have enough licensed stuff and I prefer the original stuff from behaviour. But if a FNAF chapter is well done, I'm not against it.

Ja bin Switchspieler. Der Killer ja aber auch.
Benutze aktuell meist folgende Perks
-
@Rotzbert said:
Was issen dein Perk Build?
-
The 2 that escaped used a full meta loadout, but i guess those were the ones that were salty.
Iri head is okay, if you don't pair it with an ebony mori. And if it was SWF, well, using better addons to counter external communication is totally fine.
