My main gripe with Eruption is that the Incapacitated status effect is a bit too much. You end up standing there like an idiot unable to do anything at all. I'd prefer if the perk blocked the gen for some time so you could at least do totems or other things.
-
Honestly I wish they updated the base Myers model, it aged very poorly.
-
The problem comes with its synergies with Stake Out and toolboxes. Personally I would remove those interactions and make less punishing hitting good skillchecks.
-
I actually like your ideas, especially the unique addon for each survivor and the emote. The only problem with that is that there are already 30+ survivors, so it would be a lot of work for the devs for little income, so I doubt it would ever happen.
-
From my limited experience with Hyperfocus I think it's actually a bad perk since you'd rarely get more than 1-2 stacks but you have more chances to miss skillchecks, making it way inferior to Stake Out. The problem is when it's comboed with Stake Out and Tollboxes.
Personally I'd remove the synergies with those two and buff it a bit (like by making it so you don't lose all your tokens for hitting normal skillchecks, but only 2)
-
I have the impression the devs are scared to touch her because of how strong Condemned could be.
-
Because they built them with much love, and that would make them sad.
-
Why, don't you like to see everything yellow on some maps?
-
Can you guys stop suggesting to buff the most powerful addons in the game?
-
Those killers move at 4.4 m/s. Walk for 3.5 seconds and that distance is about 15 meters.
-
I think it would be a nice QoL change to put a time limit to matches after which it's gameover for everyone, instead of having unclear ban rules that no one seems to agree on.
-
Tbh I like it, having immediate vision of the killer can be extremely strong but the bubble gives them a bit of time to act unseen. If I'm not wrong, btw, it happens also with Bitter Murmur. Obstructing vision is the whole point of those bubbles.
-
The problem with the perk is that to combat hard camping the best way is to rush gens, but if you want to buy time with Reassurance you have to go to the hook and not be doing gens, so that additional time is essentially wasted. Imo the perk is more useful in endgame scenarios, and still very niche.
-
it progresses faster than the new way
It does if you hit great skillchecks
-
I see everyone complaining about his hitbox, but tbh I find it ok. It's comparable to Pyramid Head's ability, so it requires precision. The only problems I have with Weaker are when you infect a survivor without grabbing them and then times when you fly through them, but they feel more like bugs than hitbox problems.
-
I really hope you forget a /s
-
I agree with all the suggestions.
Something I'd like to add, though, is something for newer players. Nurse has among the worst killrates because of how hard it is to learn her, which I think is a reason nothing major has ever been done to balance her. Something like a charge bar or a clear indicator of how much time before going to fatigue could help players approaching her while not affecting experienced players much. If Nurse were less extreme in her skill differences, also killrates should become more average and she should be easier to balance overalll.
-
I just watched a brief video, it seems the same animation in RE2R or am I wrong?
-
I don't like much cosplay skin too. On Feng it does at lease make sense lore-wise, since she is a gamer and likes to cosplay. Felix skin's description is literally "He found himself dressed as some sort of agent or soldier."...
-
To me Wesker's bound feels more similar to Demo's Shred or PH's Punishment of the Damned. In any case yes you have to lead your shots... usually waiting a bit for the survivor to try to juke works well
-
Friendly reminder that Distortion is a perk.
-
In the history of the game there has never been a multiplicative bonus to BPs, it was clearly a bug. The new incentives are great even if additive, I'm keeping getting double BPs as survivor today thanks to everyone playing Wesker.
-
Tbh that's how I always thought it would work before seeing it was reusable if the killer didn't kick the gen. If they reduced the requirement to something like 30-40% I think it would still be an okay perk.

Um, I’m not talking about it walking lunge. I meant post-blink lunge.
With "lunges have all been standardized" I meant that even post blink lunges are the same as every other lunge in the game.
-
Maybe 24 meters is a bit much especially if it expands with multiples downs. I would make it 12 or 16... otherwise it seems like a great idea.
-
I don't understand you people asking to buff the most OP addon in the game. It allows to completely eliminate a player from the match in one click and you want to remove the only counter?
If you want the achievement just do it like me and all the others who got it: suck it up and try until you succeed.

Her lunge already is shorter than default.
That's not true. She once had a shorter walking lunge when lunges depended of movement speed, but then lunges have all been standardized

Alternatively to that maybe also try Nemesis? That lets you have 4 obsessions in the game in theory. If that many people dc idk what to tell you,
Yeah I thought of Nemesis too, but there's still a chance it happens, especially since after someone dc survivors are more prone to dc in turn.
-
So I'm 30 hours into DbD
I know it's hard to believe, but 30 hours are nothing in this game. You're playing with the noobest noobs you can get, and this game is incredibly tough for new survivors. When survivors actually know what they are doing they are much harder to kill than you expect.
In conclusion, it's early for you to have an idea of the balance of the game.
-
Time for Gearhead to become meta, bois!
-
they never asked themselves "Why killers camp and tunnel?"
We all know it: it's because it's the easy way.
Killing one survivor gives killers an advantage no perk could ever give, with no turning back. It shouldn't be so easy to get it.
-
Something that stops me from using Pharmacy is that it requires chests to not be already opened, and Murphy's Law's a #########. If it allowed to rummage through chests if would be way better.
-
That's the point, giving a chance for the unhooked survivor to make some distance. Don't tunnel and you won't even notice they're faster.
-
There must always something to complain about, uh?
-
@Kaiju said:
Only if the Deliverance curse wasn't a thing
It doesn't matter if every unhook is safe, if the first to be unhooked is always you.
-
Yeah, the killers that camp and tunnel at 5 gens totally do it because the game is survivor sided.
-
The game was intended to be played more stealthily and chases were deadlier.
I don't know where you even picked this idea. When Nurse came out it was the time of double pallets, pallet vacuum, no vault blocking/infinites and no bloodlust. Chases where deadlier only when survivors didn't know how to expoit those mechanics.
-
I don't have Prime for the gaming section, but having some new skin every once in a while is nice. This, though, is kinda lame. I guess gg for the people that didn't get this skin before...
-
The Trickster. Chases against him are just a waiting game until you're eventually down, his whole power design is a mistake.
-
I said it for years, the Hag needs a soft rework. I love playing as her, but her kit is easily abusable by good teams and incentivizes camping and tunneling.

Yea for the survivors. It is no fun to be forced to uncloak in a worse spot where you can't easily smack the survivor for catching them in a bad spot.
I actually meant for the killer. Maybe it's me, but I find incredibly funny when someone tries to burn me and don't realize I got behind them, so they still point the flashlight forward swaying left and right.
-
Tbh I like that mechanic, I allows for some fun interactions.
-
While I understand the reasoning behind this suggestion I don't think it would solve the problem: by double tapping survivors Legion could build up speed and get access to an instadown much more quickly. Survivors would still need to mend though thanks to the double tap.
If the problem is the mending time, maybe it could start low (like 4 seconds) and ramp up for each survivor hit.
-
The reason most people are complaining is the logic behind the changes. The problematic perk was Merciless Storm, and instead of addressing its problem they un-nerfed an already good perk and nerfed a mediocre one that is good only paired with the other one, so people will feel forced to never use it outside the usual combo.
-
I really don't understand the logic here. If there is any...
Also the change to Mettle of Man is very questionable. If anything it makes me want to use the perk even less.
-
Pretty sure it uses some kind of randomizer to pick random words to censor each time.
-
That explains why sometimes I left a gen after tapping just to find it back to zero progress.
-
Yeah, NOED should be disabled when the gates are powered, that would make it fun and balanced...
Jokes aside, it's a pure end-game perk, while the other two are not. Can't be more simple than that.

@Murgleïs said:
Tunneling is not a "problem" it’s a strat.
Even gen rushing, and still gen speed has been nerfed. Something being a strategy doesn't make it not unfun and frustrating and not to be dealt with.

@ReverseVelocity said:
It depends, getting a guaranteed self-unhook or instantly healing another teammate? Yeah, it's fine that those perks have a downside attached.
Cleansing totems and opening chests silently? Absolutely not.
Maybe I should have been more specific, but when I talk about downsides I refer to permanent ones. Temporary ones are fine imo.
