  • As a survivor main I hate when it's down to 2 survivors and one goes full immersed refusing to even try to do a gen. So I would make a rule that when it's down to 2 survivors you will have your aura revealed to the killer if you go more than 1 minute without doing one of the following things:

    • Work on a gen
    • Heal (yourself or the other survivor)
    • Unhook the other survivor
    • Cleanse a totem
    • Be in killers terror radius

The way things are at the moment selfishly going immersed in that situation is actually a good strategy. I would love to see this rule applied because having your aura revealed to the killer for being immersed in that situation would completely negate the benefit it provides.

  • There are certain times I will intentionally leave someone behind even I could save them. I will not attempt to help a survivor that does certain things. Here are 3 examples:

    1) Perform unsafe hook removals the moment someone is hung

    2) Hide the whole match

    3) Do things with other survivors near to attract killer attention while the killer isn't around (ex. throw pallet or fast vault window)

If the gate is open I will run right by a hooked survivor that has done any of these things without slowing down. The way I look at it is if they had no problem throwing the rest of the team under the bus during the match I have no trouble letting them stay under the bus parked on them as I head out the door.

Generally speaking though I don't leave other survivors stranded if there is even a chance I might be able to save them.

  • As a survivor main I'm all for this. I figure any killer that will lobby dodge for those reasons is likely going to be so sweaty the match won't be enjoyable anyway.

  • This post is a perfect example of why people can have differing views on aspects of this game and it doesn't make either viewpoint right or wrong.

    1. Extends game time - There's no doubt it extends game time. For me personally I don't want my game time as a survivor extended if it means I have to crawl around.

    2. Guaranteed to occupy the survivor for a set period and a 2nd survivor to pick them up - Once again this is a true statement. Occupying a survivor for set amount of time is obviously a good thing for killers. It's why it is a legit and good strategy for killers. That doesn't mean it isn't boring as hell for survivors.

    3. Grants survivors more chances - This one can be true. It isn't always the case, but once again if more chances as a survivor means I am just going to be slugged and crawl around again I don't want more chances.

    4. Grants killer more chases - Another true statement, and again this is a good thing for a killer. The amount of chases a killer gets is irrelevant to me as a survivor, and if it means more crawling being unable to do anything I would prefer less chases and a shorter game.

    5. Denies irritable scenarios; camping, ds, bad saves, left on hook, 1st hook suiciders - Slugging definitely denies these scenarios. Yet again though, I would rather be camped and just move on to the next game as be slugged. While I hate someone performing a bad save on me I would still much rather have that happen and be hooked again and move on to the next game as opposed to crawl around. 1st hook suicide can be frustrating even for survivors. At the same time I would rather put up with survivors that abuse the ability than to remove it because there are those times I get stuck with a group of survivors that have an agenda other than trying to escape. That is less fun for me than a survivor that did a 1st hook suicide for a ridiculous reason.

In other words slugging for the most part does all 5 of the things listed to varying degrees. The question becomes are those outcomes a good or bad thing. From my perspective (and I would assume others) they are bad things. For others they may very well be good things. My perspecitve doesn't make slugging wrong. The 5 points made in the original post do not necessarily make slugging right.

I guess what I am saying is slugging is a legit strategy regardless of who likes and who dislikes it. As for whether or not it is a preferrable strategy is going to be largely dependent on the viewpoint of the individual.

Why wouldn't you? Based from what I've read you don't like any messages from others, so there's no point in allowing them to send messages at all.

There are other games I play where I want to get messages because often times I'm part of a team, and not all of the team are part of my friends.

  • @ProfGameAndTalk said:

On PC I stream and actually came across a SWF team streaming and they were pretty chill and post-game we all chatted for a bit and followed each other. That's my one wholesome DbD moment. I block all non-friend messaging on Ps4, learned that lesson playing Overwatch years ago.

I've thought about restricting my messages. Might be the route to go.

  • @Im_Tired said:

I think it's more understandable on PC since you just type in a quick "gg" for sportsmanship and move on. Messaging specific people on console or other sounds like too much work though. Can't imagine it would be for any other reason than to BM you somehow, and salty players absolutely need to let you know how much your gameplay ruined their day, because suffering alone isn't human nature 🤷‍♀️

I can see that. I play on PS4 so that's the only perspective I was seeing it from and it's definitely extra work to message someone on a PS4. I have cross play turned off so that's definitely the platform this person was messaging from.

  • @Mr_K said:

    Salt

You may very well be right. I guess from my perspective I just don't want that to be the case because that level of butthurt over a game seems extremely unhealthy.

  • The only problem I have ever had with the DC penalty was due to the dedicated servers. When they were first implemented on PS4 I was constantly being booted from matches for no connection and incurring the penalty. The problem I had was it wasn't my internet connection. It worked perfectly with everything else. It was infuriating receiving disconnect penalties because bhvr had horrible servers. It still happens occasionally but it's a lot better than it used to be.

  • I'm a survivor main that has taken the time to make sure Nea has all survivor perks. I've not bothered to do the same for any other survivor. I don't play killer. I don't use any survivors other than Nea. I don't have any reason to spend bloodpoints on another survivor when the difference between survivors is purely cosmetic.

I would like the option to choose to never receive any killer rituals or survivor specific ones. It's nowhere close to a big deal but it would be nice to be able to select to only receive rituals that are relevant to the way I play.

  • There are situations where suicide on hook is a strategic move.

    For example:

2 survivors left. I'm on the hook. There's a Bubba hidden nearby using me as bait to get that last survivor. In that situation staying on the hook is just a guaranteed death for both survivors since Bubba can pop out and instadown the other survivor before they ever get me off the hook. In that situation if the other survivor starts getting close I will suicide on hook. It saves the other survivor from sure death and maybe even gives them the opportunity to escape.

I also agree with those that said it's a good way to get out of a bad match, and I don't mean a match where I wasn't playing well. As a survivor main if I get stuck in a match where one survivor is trying to sabotage the others or with survivors that aren't even trying to do gens I'll just hook suicide and leave. The killer gets a kill and I get to go to another match where hopefully my team is actually trying to escape.

  • As a survivor main I don't like farming. I just don't find it all that useful. However, there is one reason I refuse to participate even when I'm stuck in a match with a killer that appears to want to farm.

I've been in more than one match where the killer acts like they want to farm, but they are actually using it as a tactic to get easy kills. Had one killer send a message saying they wanted to hook everyone twice and then we could just farm and leave. He hooked everyone twice. Let us do the whole heal each other a time or two and then slugged everyone and hung us all the last time.

In other words you are probably running into survivors that don't know if they can trust that you actually want to farm, or you're being dishonest to get easy kills.

  • @Obonto said:

Had to google what poised is. Just switch it up for unbreakable. Out of your perks spine chill is the best, then iron will, urban is debatebel and poised is nowhere near as useful to any of them. You could also think about switching Urban with DS or test how Tenacity works out for you with unbreakable. I remember that urban is often useful but stopped using it cuz it changes your gameplay too much. But that's your thing.

Poised is definitely one of the perks I'm looking at switching out in this situation. Although I will say poised is an extremely valuable perk in a stealth build. You can finish a gen with the killer in relatively close proximity and be completely gone by the time they get to the area without leaving a trace. I can't count the amount of times I have been able to finish a crucial gen and be gone without even being seen.

I have given thought to trying to give up urban. It just serves me so well. Being able to crouch and move around a short obstacle allows me to evade killers in almost every match I play. I become much less stealth without that ability.

I personally won't use DS. I have tried to use it on multiple occasions, but it's always counterproductive to me. Almost every single time I have used DS I have been tunneled immediately after using it. For me DS may as well be called the tunnel guarantee perk.

I have been doing tenacity and unbreakable in place of poised and iron will. It's not bad. I am looking for other ideas to experiment with though.

  • @IceCreamPrincess said:

To properly counter slugging, you only need unbreakable. Adding in perks like flip flop, tenacity and no mither is overkill imo. Tenacity is essentially a warning to the killer to not slug you for long, but it is good if you dont let the killer know you have it

If slugging is massive problem for you though, perhaps running soul guard too would be good. Alot of killers are running hexs now with ruin being so popular, so you can repeatedly get up with it, and while some killers play around hitting a survivor who gets up in case of soulguard, its harder to play around a survivor that can get up repeatedly.

Combining this with a stealth shell however is rather counterproductive, playing stealthily means you shouldn't often be getting slugged. So instead of soul guard perhaps use WGLF, the 2x healing on downed survivors means you can play as the team slug doctor.

However, alot of this goes out of the window if there is no obsession in the match, as then there is alot less reason for the killer to actually slug, since they don't need to play around DS, so running For the People, or DS yourself will guarentee it.

The builds i would reccomend then would be Spinechill, Unbreakable, DS and then your choices of Soul Guard, WGLF, For the People and Sprint Burst

And my final note, its just a matter of opinion, but i find that urban evasion is weaker than fixated, but i hold no stock in moving whilst crouching. But thats a "to each their own" scenario

Item wise to add to this, the build has no in build healing, so a medkit would work best, besides keys of course

You're right. As a stealthy survivor I don't get slugged every match or anything close. I'm just looking to add some variety and try some different things. I figured if I'm going to mix it up a little I may as well try some anti-slug measures for when it does happen since I hate it so much.

Lets be real...there are plenty of things you are doing in your life that is wrong and you know it but continue to do them...that is what is ironic. Learn the difference between an opinion and a fact...but I doubt you ever will because you are so deluded you actually think some facts are "opinions". That is some damn good brainwashing.

Thanks for proving my point. Have a great day.

honestly it's a lost cause talking to this "PLAYER" why? they are the only ones that can be right and won't look at reality. You are correct in your assessment and the other one is just a person that hates being wrong.

While I don't think I'm wrong I at least realize I could be. At the same time I saw the reply you received from the other person. Apparently they believe the definition of irony is not accepting their opinion as fact. Somehow that seems ironic to me.

  • My unpopular opinion is that it is ridiculous to claim any strategy and/or perk is only acceptable to use under certain conditions.

If a killer wants to tunnel or camp they are both legit parts of the game. They can do either of them whenever they want and as much as they want. They don't even have to have a reason, and it's never unacceptable to do.

If a survivor wants to use DS it's also part of the game. They can use it whether they've been tunneled or not, and there's never a time it's unacceptable.

  • It's truly amazing to watch how many survivors in this game seemingly lack the ability to play with any strategy whatsoever. I have a family member that also plays the game. They used to be one of the people you are talking about. She was going to go for the save every single time as quickly as possible. It didn't matter where the killer was.

I finally asked one day why she kept doing it. She told me it was because even in a video game she wanted to be a nice person and do the right thing.

I explained why the way she played actually made it easier on the killer to kill her whole team. When the realization finally hit her that what she had considered altruistic was actually just the opposite she started playing differently.

There's also the thing where bloodpoints are awarded to survivors in such a way that it provides incentive for a player to unhook whether it's a safe time to do so or not.

  • @danph7 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1782955#Comment_1782955

Its also very naive and short term thinking. In the short run it costs more money to fix problems that need to be fixed but are considered non priority because they only factor that its not costing them at the moment instead of thinking long term...but if these problems were fixed now it would result in better return on investment. They would recapture players who have left because of those issues and regain new ones and in the end have the potential to make even more money.

Perhaps. That's the thing though. They may lose some players over latency issues. My guess is it won't be many. So the question becomes which is going to cost them more?

    1) The cost of implementing and maintaining better servers

    or

    2) The money they would lose from the people that would leave over server latency

If it's #2 then #1 becomes a priority. On the other hand if it's #1 then #2 is a loss they are willing to take.

  • In business you don't spend money fixing problems that aren't costing you money or you believe are going to cost you money. The latency issues have been a problem for a long time and people are still playing the game. This game is a business. That's not a criticism. It's just the way it is.

  • Even among solo survivors you are going to find differing opinions on this. I play solo survivor and I wouldn't like a killer extending a match this way. It may not be farming, but it isn't much different. I'd rather a killer sweat it even after someone DC's. I'm still going to do my best to escape. If I don't that's fine, but my goal is to escape. I have zero desire to extend a match just for the sake of extending it. I'd rather be done quickly and move on to the next match.

  • I'm a survivor main and my biggest strength is stealth. So for me the killer that annoys me the worst is Doc. His ability to basically hit a button and reveal survivor locations is a huge detriment to my play style. Don't get me wrong. While I'm still nowhere near great while being chased it's forced me to get a lot better. I guess that means you could say there is a positive, but Doc will always be the killer that annoys me the most.

  • Just finished a match where one survivor performed 4 unsafe hook removals. During the time it took them to do that I was able to finish about 1 and a half gens.

Anyone that's played this game as a survivor very long knows the survivor that actively sabotaged the whole team walked out of that match with more points than the other 3 survivors.

Survivor bloodpoints have absolutely nothing to do with how well a survivor played. As a matter of fact selfish play is often more rewarding than playing well.

As a survivor main I've had to quit caring about bloodpoints. The way they are awarded provides incentive to ignore objectives and not play smart.

  • As a survivor on PS4 I have cross play turned off. Very short queue times and way less matches that are slugfests.

  • @Sluzzy said:

Not all SWF are good. Lets say it together: "Not all SWF are good". I myself beat most 4man SWF. Most SWF are not good. You can't give solo comms and they are magically good. Nope. The problem is killer egos are shattered when you win 99 games in a row and then that good SWF on comms genrushes you and you lose. Then the game suddenly becomes imbalanced because you lost one? Give me a break.

Survivors are already way too weak because a good killer is impossible to beat unless all four are really really good and are on comms. You DO NOT balance around a top SWF.

Killer is way overpowered because without a coordinated genrush, the killer is destined a guaranteed victory if they know what they are doing. That cannot be said of survivor. All four have to play perfectly in a coordinated fashion to win and that is not fair and balanced whatsoever.

I don't doubt what you are saying. I think there is probably a lot of truth to that. The only caveat I would add is I think the amount of killers that can successfully go up against a decent SWF is statistically small.

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

Its not only SWF or Solos, Killers itself also make the game hard to balance.

Like, the guy who places Traps around the Map can never be as strong as the girl who is invisible while chasing a Survivor. This will never be possible. Sure, you can buff certain Killers, but you will never reach the Level of Nurse or Spirit. Probably not even Freddy, as long as you dont plan to give his abilities (at least the Teleport) to every Killer. Which would be kinda boring tbh.

And if you do something to buff every Killer, you would also buff those who dont need it at all.

SWF - Solo is one thing but stronger Killer - weaker Killer is also something which makes balancing harder.

In the end, DBD will never be balanced completely.

I agree. I don't think it's possible. I do think BHVR does as well as they possibly can though.

  • @darktrix said:

Guess what - they also tunnel you if you don't use it.

While personal experience is anecdotal it is all I can go by. My personal experience is I get tunneled WAY more after using DS than any other time.

  • While I enjoy switching my perks up on occasion I would be adamantly opposed to having any perk negated because other survivors in the same match were running it. That would be one guaranteed way to get me to never play DBD again.

  • When it first started I thought it would be a great thing. However, I'm a survivor main on PS4. The percentage of matches that were nothing but slugfests went up exponentially with cross play. I thought maybe it was a fluke or something that would even out after a bit. Several weeks later I was still experiencing almost nothing but slugging killers.

I'm not attempting to make a statement about the validity or necessity of slugging. I don't play killer so I don't have the experience on the other side of the coin to make an unbiased judgement.

What I can say is regardless of whether or not anyone views slugging as a good or bad thing I was ready to give this game up. When nearly every match is a slugfest I personally don't get any enjoyment from it. I decided to turn off crossplay and see if things got better. I was happy to find out that not only did I experience a dramatic reduction in slugfest matches, but my queue times are actually better than they have ever been.

So for me crossplay will stay off unless some change to the game makes slugging as a strategy less common. As a survivor main I will always choose the option that involves less matches where the killer does nothing but slug.

  • As a survivor main whose strength is stealth (not immersion) I have a love/hate reaction to going up against a doc.

No other killer comes anywhere as close to negating my style of play. So I kinda hate that part. At the same time I really can appreciate that matches against doc force me to get better at other aspects of my play.

  • Equipping DS has never made sense to me. I've nicknamed it Die Soon. The majority of killers seem to take it quite personally and tunnel you for using it.

  • @sulaiman said:

I see people so often not crawling and think why. There is a hooked survivor, the killer camping, and the one downed stays by the hook, so noone can come in to save either of them. If he crawls away, the killer have to choose instead of getting both for the price of one.

Also, usually i recover, but if i suspect the killer will come back before i recovered, i will crawl away and try to hide. Even if the killer gets me, he wastes a little more time than me just recovering on the ground where he left me.

Omg yes! Every time I see a downed survivor just laying next to a hooked one I scratch my head. I don't understand how anyone doesn't see how that makes things so much easier for the killer.

  • @iZombie said:

    No they’re not?

Sometimes the smartest thing to do is to crawl away and then recover. Why stay in the area where the killer downed you? By crawling away first you reduce the chances of the killer being able to find you.

The REAL problem is when you clearly start crawling away as soon as you’re downed and somebody runs in to pick you up. They need to use their brain and realise you clearly haven’t started recovering yet and you’re trying to get to a safer location.

Bingo. Laying in the exact spot you got downed makes it much easier for the killer, and much more likely that you or the person that heals you gets hit shortly thereafter.

If a survivor pops up from the dying state to the injured state the first place the killer is going to look is the spot they downed you.

I won't even attempt to heal someone that hasn't moved from the spot they were downed unless I know the killer is nowhere close.

  • I used to think the DC penalty was desperately needed. However, I don't think it makes any difference. I took a break from the game for a couple weeks because I was just getting frustrated with so much of it.

Played my first match in 15 days this morning. 2 survivors and the killer all DC'd. It's reaching the point it's truly ruining my enjoyment of this game.

  • I feel your pain. For a long time after the implementation of dedicated servers on PS4 I had nothing but issues. I could play any other game for several hours straight and never even lag much less disconnect. I could stream 4k movies and never buffer. I would play DBD and end up with a disconnect or two every time I tried to play, and lag issues almost every single match.

I would have to intentionally not play for 2 or 3 days straight just so things reset and I didn't receive a permanent ban. After several months things got better. I rarely get any disconnects anymore. I still get lag at times, but nothing unbearable. I don't know how dedicated servers work so I can't begin to make a guess what caused my problems or why they suddenly got better. The only thing I can say for sure is I have never had a single issue with my internet on any other game. I have never had an issue with streaming. The only internet related problem I have ever had ( and still do a little) is with DBD.

  • Whenever advantageous for you personally....... Or when you are playing with a bunch of potatoes and you want to make sure they don't have the option to use it later. When that happens you drop it for no reason as soon as possible just to ensure they can't use it later.

  • We're all different. The fact you find something boring doesn't mean someone else does. I enjoy solo survivor. I find playing killer to be boring.

It's the old racing thing. I know plenty of people that can sit for hours watching any type of vehicle racing and love every second of it. If I watch more than a second of it I'm bored out of my mind.

  • @Mugombo said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1675659#Comment_1675659

Or maybe it's the fact that the other survivors don't want a boring ass game where all you do is hold a button at a generator while the killers just camps so they'd rather try something than being bored. Or maybe it's because they realise there's another person playing the survivor being camped and would rather take some risks to save them than letting them waste the whole queue time and game just being sat on a hook. It's not always stupidity, it's also being selfless or making the game interesting.

I really do understand that sentiment from one viewpoint. The part of it that does bother me some is that when survivors play that way it just rewards killers that camp. It provides incentive to keep doing it. If survivors didn't make camping such a rewarding strategy I think the instances of camping would be reduced significantly.

  • @Orion said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1675685#Comment_1675685

Then you read it wrong. It's a human thing, not exclusive to survivors. If killers had a ton of second chances, they'd do the same.

I didn't say it wasn't a human thing. I didn't say it's exclusive to survivors. I was saying some survivors get delusional about what is safe and smart

  • @voorheesgt said:

I don't play survivor nearly as much as killer but I also see this a lot when I play survivor. If I'm hooked first and the next person gets slugged, I watch to see what the other survivors are doing. If they're doing gens I'll struggle til the very last moment to buy them time to punish the camping killer. But if they're making their way to me I kill myself on hook before they can get slugged. I think a lot of solo que survivors feel like bad team mates if they leave you on a hook and feel more obligated to save you the longer you're hooked. I'd much rather buy them 2 gens worth of time. Campers only 4k due to this altruism.

I do the same stuff. Normally if I'm in second hook phase and the killer is camping me I will stop struggling if I see a survivor running my way. In this situation though I hadn't reached struggle phase until the last survivor was headed my direction. Considering there were 2 survivors on the ground below me it wouldn't have stopped this would be hero.

  • @Orion said:

There's a psychological effect called "risk compensation". The gist is that the safer you feel, the more likely you are to take risks. Playing survivor, with all the second chances you get, you rarely - if ever - feel like you're at risk, so you're more likely to make dumb plays. Combine that with second chance perks like DS and your risky behavior generally being rewarded because of all your second chances, and you've got yourself players who have been conditioned to make dumb plays, because they don't suffer any real consequences from them.

I basically read that as "many survivors get delusional", and I completely agree.

  • As a PS4 survivor main I used crossplay from the moment it started. I turned it off due to one stat in particular a couple weeks ago. The amount of matches I was in that were nothing but slugfests went way way up with crossplay. I tried for awhile thinking it would even back out. It never did. Turned off crossplay and I now experience far less slugging. An added and surprise bonus has been that my lobby times are better than they have ever been now.

Note: Before someone decides to read into this and act as if I'm saying something I didn't say.... I did not say slugging was unfair. I didn't call for slugging to be banned. I didn't call for it to be nerfed. I understand slugging is a legitimate tool in the arsenal of killers, but as a survivor main if I can do something to reduce the amount of matches I participate in that are nothing but slugfests I will gladly do so.

  • I'm a survivor main and the first time I read the description of DS I was stoked. I couldn't imagine ever not using before I had even unlocked it. After unlocking it and using it for awhile I realized almost every single time I utilized it I got tunneled after doing so. I don't get the appeal of a perk that is pretty much guaranteed to get me tunneled.

  • It's never that clear cut. There are times a rescue is a bad move strategically for the rest of the team regardless of whether it will save someone a hook stage, or even dying for that matter.

  • I have always thought there should be both a minimum and maximum distance allowed between gates.

Example #1: I was in a match the other day where all 5 gens were completed and 3 survivors left. The gates were so close together that the killer was able to prevent either gate from being opened before time ran out.

Example #2: Match just yesterday where the other 3 survivors all hook farmed with the killer. I got 2 gens done during that time. The gates were so far apart I was able to walk up to a gate, open it, and walk out the door before the killer even got close enough to be in their terror radius.

In #1 the survivors did what they were supposed to do. Despite that the proximity of the gates made it no challenge whatsoever for the killer to keep them from opening.

In #2 the killer did what they were supposed to do. Despite that the gates were so far apart it presented zero challenge to me to open the gate and walk out.

It's just my opinion, but I don't think either situation should ever occur. Gate placement should never be a guaranteed win or loss for either side. I would love to see there be both a minimum and maximum distance between gates that presents a challenge to both sides.

  • Cool. You have appointed yourself the judge of what's fascinating. I award you bonus points for having the audacity to believe you have the right to make that determination for others. At the same time I take them all back considering your proclamations of what is and is not fascinating actually doesn't change anyone else's mind.

  • @KingFrost said:

Got called a 'camper' and 'tunneler' (along with much more toxic stuff) in a game where I never hooked the same person twice in a row, and always left the area after hooking someone. Apparently being on the map makes me a camper! Next time, I guess I'll just have to leave the map.

That would be quite a perk. But let's face it... you would still be accused of camping and tunneling.

Big deal means important. Fascinating means interesting. Those aren't the same thing. Something doesn't have to be a big deal to post about it. Also something can be interesting without being important and vice versa. I may well be in the minority thinking it is fascinating. I'm perfectly fine with that.

  • The biggest problem I see is there are so many people that can't tell the difference between subjectivity and objectivity when it comes to their own opinions. People make the presumption that their personal opinion is unbiased and objective. The fact is most opinions are subjective to some degree regardless of how hard we try to make them objective. You can hold an opinion that is 100% correct subjectively, but may be 100% wrong objectively. Objectively it's even possible for an opinion to be neither right or wrong.

If you consider your own opinion unbiased yet someone disagrees you are forced to either consider their opinion biased (killer/survivor sided) or you are forced to consider the possibility that your opinion may not be as objective as you thought. Reading this forum it's obvious which choice most people make.

Not sure if the person was really angry though, sounds like an assumption. Ive sent messages before and ppl think I'm angry.

But sure, if he just got hooked and sent u the message, than u weren't given the opportunity to finish a gen and that's my bad for the mis-read.

But he is not here to defend himself so I can only take ur side of the story. If I can see the whole video, that would be nice.

It's also not that big of a deal. I get so many hate messages from all angle.

So did u end up surviving the match?

If I included the full text of the messages it would be obvious this person was angry. I would also get banned from the forum.

I understand that person is not participating in this conversation. I didn't claim it was a big deal. As I said in the original post. I found it fascinating. I thought perhaps others would too. Considering it's gotten very few replies I was obviously wrong about that.
