Lol well based on her red rank stats it says all we needed to see to prove all the nurse haters were just blustering..only beats demo gorgan and pfft..clown..worse stats than wraith..and legion..I find that hilarious..also as a console player myself..I can tell you..on console you see maybe two nurses a month..at lower ranks usually..so they dont have much stat sway..that's why I can take that number a little more seriously
Oh you're a console nurse. That says everything, she is not made for console. Sorry bud
Come to PC, then you understand why she needs a nerf. She is that overpowered here and still is. I wonder if most of the nurse complaints come from console nurses...

Actually..I'm looking at the newly provided stats over the old ones, so before you say something without thinking again I'll leave you with this..the idea everyone agreed on was an addon pass..the devs made a call nobody except die hard nurse haters agreed with..and then they not only have gone through with it..but have been dodging very simple questions which frankly is rude and insulting..all the respected nurse players I know of absolutely despise the change..not 1 nurse main I've seen gave it a thumbs up..because the concept was stupid..the devs saw a problem and then went to solve an issue that didnt exist..so here we are...
Afaik they did not release the stats in a way that they're directly comparable. The last stats they released where from here:

Earlier this week, we asked you what statistics you would like to see. Since then, we have collected data on some of the most popular requests and designed some fancy graphics for them. There are a few things to note:
- This data does not include the recent PTB.
- Data involving rank was collected shortly before a rank reset (April 1st to April 7th).
- These are very general statistics, so use caution before drawing any conclusions.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/719/CPIDC1XE8JBT.jpg
Average Party Size
This is the overall average, between all ranks and platforms, of how many other Survivors players are queuing up with. More than half of the total Survivors are playing solo, while only 3-6% are playing in a full Survive With Friends group. This is based on the group size out of the total number of matches.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/771/II0BH5BS6HP0.jpg
Party Size Survival Rate
This is the average chance of Survival per Survivor depending on the size of the Survive With Friends group they are playing in. This is an average between all ranks on all platforms.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/270/X1L1JQEBEOMA.jpg
Survival Rate by Rank
This graph shows the average rate of survival per Survivor at any given rank, per platform. Please note: The data collected is using your rank after the match, so players who depipped from rank 1 down to rank 2 would appear as rank 2 for our purposes. This is likely the reason why you'll notice a large gap between the survival rate of rank 1 and rank 2: Players who survived were more likely to pip and maintain their rank, while those who died were more likely to depip and lose their rank.
This data was also collected between April 1st and April 7th, after the pipping thresholds were originally changed but before they were later tweaked to be more forgiving for Survivors. Because of that, the statistics at this rank are from a small sample size consisting solely of the best players that could maintain rank 1 with the strict pipping conditions.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/198/WJGATDU9GIYC.jpg
Average Game Length
This graph shows the average game length at any given rank for each platform. This is the time from the start of the match until the final Survivor either escapes or is sacrificed.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/103/8BOLFYNH0D9I.jpg
Most Popular Killer by Rank
This chart shows which Killer is the most popular depending on rank, per platform. For example, on PC from rank 1-4, nurse is the most popular Killer, while Hillbilly tends to be more popular from rank 5-12. The highest overall usage for any Killer at a given rank is the Nurse at rank 1, coming in at 22.39%.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/398/4A494UUNC0WZ.jpg
Highest and Lowest Kill Rates
This chart shows the deadliest (yellow) and least deadly (red) Killers per platform. These stats are an average for all ranks. Since there are four Survivors, a 50% kill rate equates to two Survivors escaping and two Survivors dying.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/928/2YVQMEWUS0KN.jpg
Most Used Perks (Survivor)
This chart shows the most popular Survivor perks based on rank ranges between all platforms. We decided not to display ranks 13-20 as they tend to be more random (newer, lower ranked players tend to use whichever perks they have rather than picking what they want specifically). The numbers displayed are the percentage that perk is used of all perks used at that rank.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/781/T8VE1J9V3G07.jpg
Most Used Perks (Killer)
This chart shows the most popular Killer perks based on rank ranges between all platforms. Like the Survivor perks above, we decided not to show ranks 13-20. The number displayed are a percentage of the total perks used at that rank range.
Is there something that confuses you? Maybe you'd like to know a more precise number on one of these stats? I'll be doing a live Q&A in the official Dead by Daylight Discord server tomorrow at 2PM EST.
If you are not in the Official Discord server, you can join here: https://discord.gg/549m9NT
The Q&A will take place in the #game-discussion channel.
Where they listed PC and console separate. She had a 22% pickrate on PC rank 1, but none available for xbox and ps4. If you mix them, we dont know how much nurse is played at rank 1, so we cant compare them to the current stats.
I'll just let the nurse leavers be. You argue with facts, logic, tier lists and maths. And their only argument is "You dont play her. I just dont have fun, ok?". So do the infiniteabusing, instahealing, dstriking, borrowed time, Mettle of nonsenser argue.

Only it didnt..and looking at the stats..her playrate dropped like a stone...and the only people I've seen say shes ok are 0eopke whom never play her or are known to dislike her..so no..shes not fine
Well thats just your opinion. We dont know about the pickrate changes, so you're making up things. And plenty of people still like to play her, you salty nurse leavers just dont admit it. "Everyone who has fun with her, doesnt play her" is their only argument and a childish one. I started playing her again after the nerfs, since she was busted before. Its INCREDIBLE, how ######### strong you are as Nurse. I dont get the balance complaints at all, she is still by far the strongest.
Know how players want you to play both sides to understand killer/survivor issues? Nurse mains have to play other killers to get a realistic view of the matter. Once they're playing real dbd with nonnurse, they may come back to nurse and appreciate infinite power again.

Pardon me. If she was the strongest killer then why is Freddy on top of the stats?
Streamers are survivor mains.
Because Freddy has a lower skillfloor and Nurse has a high skillfloor.
Same reason why survivors have a low 30% escape rate at r1, even though good survivors mop the floor with good killers. The average gamer is pretty bad, so even if a characters potential is very high, making them toptier, the average stats for them look worse than others. Same as in other videogames: Highskill characters suck statistically

I find it really frustrating we cant get one straight answer on the nurse....why do you guys not want to talk about her..?
If i had to guess: Because nothing is wrong with her. Its the same 5 players making 90% of the nurse posts. The good nurses still 4k with her. Most streamers say she is still the strongest killer. If she was released today, she would be called op. Just because they dont have fun, doesnt mean we should buff the strongest killer. That nerf was waaaay overdue and they kept her core gameplay and muscle memory.

I don't spam the tp button because i would break my controller so i do rely on my reactions but besides that i do see your point. Once you learn how to properly place traps it becomes second nature but knowing were to place them and what paths survivors take is where people struggle. I also often see hags who don't know how to manage their traps well or what they should do when everyone sets off the traps when she goes to hook someone. So while it may be easy to just set traps at pallets and vaults and get hits when they are activated, if that's all you're doing then survivors can just avoid the pallets near the gens you're protecting and run to other safe areas of the map. like i said its grasping her play style is what makes her a unpopular pick among killers.
I agree on that. She takes a different approach on the game, which needs experience with the game. So many hags trap the hook 7 times while camping. The hardest part about Hag is dealing with those escape routes to the safe areas of the map and not trapping pallets but those sneaky paths. It just feels like she has only one way to play against her and if one of the 4 survivors dont know how to do it, they will lose.
-
Claudette has the biggest advantage. But i bet Ace has the highest escape rate, they're bloody hard to catch. Fengs are also pretty skilled. Megs and Bills tend to potato the most.
More stats pliz
-
@AChaoticKiller said:
The reason hag is the least popular is because she requires thinking ahead, being skillful in reaction time and trap placement, and being very difficult to play if not used properly. If you're the kind of person who just mindlessly places traps and chase survivors you're going to do bad with her hence why her pick rate is so low because her play style is hard to grasp. Same with nurse she takes a HELL of a lot of skill now so really the only people who can 4k every game are the pros and they are very rare to come across. So while nurse does have some bad stats it does not reflect how a god nurse does because they 4k pretty much every game.
Hags difficulty is vastly overrated. She doesnt require mechanical skill, since you can skip that by spamming the teleport button. She WOULD be skillful if she had a small cooldown when you press the teleport button, since she would be reflexbased. But right now, instant teleports take no skill and guarantee a hit.
You learn Hag once, you perform well with her forever. She's very uninteractive overall. Trap the good spots, wait till they get triggered. Hang someone, watch the snowball, gg. As long as you dodge 4-swf flashlight squads, she has the easiest time 4k'ing at red ranks out of all killers for me.
-
Meanwhile the map designer creates bigger maps with more infinites. He could just stop, but he doesnt smh
-
Stalling Time and skipping half the chase is what you want in high ranks. A 1% difference is not that relevant though, a lot of killers varies by ~1% usage
-

If this was general population of the game I'd be fine with that logic but this is red rank. This is where the best players lie. This is where the players have "great aim to make them work"
Red ranks has nothing to do with aim. Beeing good at shooters makes you have great aim. Red ranks just means you played a lot this month.
You can get rank 1 with freddy for example. But your aim is just as a bad as a rank 20 freddy.
-
The performance is mostly based on the skillfloor. Easy characters perform very well and hard ones perform badly. Freddy and Billy get a lot of value with their easy to use mobility. Spirit replaces the hard chase mechanics with hearing. Thus an average player performs well with them. Nurse, Huntress and Clown have the lowest killrate due to them beeing skillbased killers. Most players dont have great aim to make them work.

Still, even WITH BL in its current state and even though BL is, for now, the best Exhaustion perk, the map is only #3 in terms of favoring Survivors. With BL getting its well-deserved nerf, and considering the massive effect that perk had on that map, I doubt it will still be #3 in the long run. Which tends to go against the current suggestion that it's so slanted that it needs to be reworked.
Haddonfield is still very survivorsided without balanced landing. It was really strong even before the BL buffs. Its a big time commitment to search a house for survivors or just go upstairs to start a chase with a survivor on a balcony.
Rotten Fields still takes the cake. You can see the killer over the whole map, but he cant see you.
-
Billy and Huntress. Also Spirit and Nurse for fun now without feeling dirty. As long as its not just M1.

@Peanits said:
I'd love to see something like that in the future and make it a regular thing. We would need to figure out what type of data you guys want to see, though. If we do it regularly, we couldn't give a ton of different stats each time (that would take way too much of the data team's time). It'd also be nice to narrow it down to a few categories that would appear every time so you can compare one month to the last.
Pickrate and winrate of the top 5 perks on each side
Killrates of each killer at rank 1 (PC and console separated)
Maybe some outliers that you guys have found in the statistics, that are interesting.
-
BBQ, Infectious Fright, Corrupt Intervention, Enduring
-
S: Nurse
A: Spirit, Huntress, Billy, Hag (Oni?)
B: Freddy, Plague, Ghostface, Myers, Demogorgon, Pig
C: Clown, Trapper, Doctor, Legion, Wraith, Leatherface
For PC. Oni might be better than Billy, time will tell.

It could be permanent like Iron Will. The bloody trail is much less effective for tracking than injured groans.

When the devs release a toptier killer and you still complain. This dude is between billy and myers, he may hit the sweet spot for power.

2nd survivor perk may be op. Reviving shack pallet over and over.
Nvm, read it wrong

Ruin, Iron Will

Some games are good. Some times you get 4 DC's in a row and then 2 people downed in the basement in the first 30s. One has unbreakable, but hides where he went down and goes down again. Thats it for the night
-
He's overpowered. Downing all 4 at once, hello?
Bubbas are either noobs getting bbq, toxic insidious campers or memers who abuse his op status. The games are usually not tense. I've only played one skilled bubba player so far and imo skilled bubba players should be banned

Bond and Aftercore are strong
Selfcare + Botany Knowledge to become the healer of the team. Old healing times are great, not just for yourself.

A killer that can be outrun in a straight line, while using their ability, is "still the best by a wide margin".
k then
2 doubleblinks to catch about anyone. 3 max, but i wouldnt even start chases with survivors a mile away, goes for every killer.

4.4m/s is literally the most powerless thing in the game, no troll, you can literally run in a straight line and run him halfway across the map.
What? you catch up to the survivor then phase and lose all the ground you gain? do you understand what you just typed?
Spirit will go down to be mid-killer if not low-tier, you will barely see her, mark my words, same happend with nurse, same will with spirit as well.
Spirit was fun, it actually required to play different and use your brain, but some people don't have it or don't want to use it, bad for them tho.
I wish i could bet money on that. Nurse is still the best by a wide margin. Then Spirit slightly above Huntress and Billy. Maybe Hag if we dont count swf+flashlight squads.
Some people are too reliant on the best addons to do the job.

They aren't "identifying" the lost event cosmetics, though, they're flat out giving it to everyone.
I assume the difficulty with legacy is if you had it, there would be a flag set on your account, would probably look like
"Legacy_Head_Meg ✓"
The issue lies in a save issue that was once present in steam that would clear the flag, and without any way of telling who actually had the flag enabled before the save issue anyone who wanted to would be able to request it, it sucks but it is what it is.
I meant people who reported that they lost event cosmetics. They would get them back. Not talking about the ongoing free cosmetics for everyone.
Everyone can request legacy, but some actually had proof that they had legacy. From the few thousand that earned, a few hundred lost it and a lot quit the game. I can understand why you dont give it to everyone who asks for it, but if the proof is there, why not restore it for them? You feel kinda cheated, when they told you to work on it, you give them all they want and they just say nope.

No to people who didnt earn it. They said multiple times in the past they're trying to restore legacy for those that lost it. And if they can restore lost event cosmetics and identify who earned them, why not for legacy and stay true to their words?

For legacy, we have specifically mentioned in the past that we won't be bringing it back. We aren't going back on our word.
What about lost legacys? We're waiting for 3 years now. Has it been completely abandoned? What are the issues that prevent you from restoring them? Cheaters, hacked achievements? Now's a good time to ask
-
Time to brag with peanits Chuckle mask while i can!

Umbra, Scott, Zubat, OhTofu and Tru3
Good attitude, good gameplay. And Tru3 if im feeling spicy and want to hear what every killer thinks. Fooking Dead'ard. Stoopid genrush. Every killer knows the feels.
-
Looks good. Fair and balanced.
*collects tinfoil hats*
-
Well, i think they're doing really good. The changes hit all the right spots. They're well thought out.
They still need to revisit the OG problems and their bandaids. If they remove infinite windows, they can remove bloodlust aswell. If they prevent the 3 gen popping at the start, genrush wouldn't exist. If they solved the effcicieny problem of 3 survivors vs 4 survivors, tunnelcamping wouldn't be a problem. But the balance changes itself, cant complain (except pig nerfs lol jk)

I’m curious as to what you actually do build. Because Self Care does seem entirely situational but at the same time not due to several factors like teammate competence, Killer perks, your perks, play-style, and length of games.
It’s more of a perk that you need but don’t have or one that you have but don’t need.
But I just found it not as essential anymore because of Medkits with lots of charges, and because of my build.
If you take medkits, they can replace selfcare and other healing perks. Usually you have a lot of them hoarded up. So if you go for maximum benefits, medkits are great.
I think its well suited for solo players, who dont take items into the trial and dont want to minmax with a full second chance build. I usually go with selfcare, botany knowledge (sometimes replaced with DS/BT), iron will and balanced landing. Also, its important that you're somewhat decent at looping. Or else, healing itself (selfcare, inner strength, teammates healing etc) is not really worth it for you. If you can last a decent time in chases, then healing becomes efficient. Selfcare away, as long as you make that health state count
