As another person who has plague as a main I agree she is underrated. My favorite add-ons are the two apples, vile emetic, and rubbing oil. Against blendettes I use the severed toe with black incense because why wouldn't I want to know where you're crouching around at all times? But yea, I've had games I'll lose 2-3 gens early because I want to get infections going and then no more will happen since they feed me my power or infectious fright prompts multiple chases when they're broken. She is on many maps a win/win if you are decent at running chases.
I'm glad that you understand how powerful and underrated she is. Finally, a person who understands, plus she has amazing gen control, people rarely can get two gens done when I play her.

Also a lot of survivors feel too safe just waiting in a pallet against Mr. YeeHaw and I’ve got plenty of downs by just dragging them out before they can even drop it. This is one of the main reasons I love playing as him, as he can deny pallets and loops which is where good survivors shine.
Exactly, even before they start a chase, loop or pallet stun you could just DENY it and drag them back to you.
People get cocky and try to only focus on avoiding my shots when half the time I don't even need to shoot them because they wasted so much time. It's like a huge mind game the whole time you're playing him, are they going to bold and run out and take the chance of being shot or are they going to try to stealthy and still get shot around a corner.
Even though he's 5% slower than all the other killers, he sure does gain up on people quickly.

Mr. YeeHaw is my favourite killer in the game. For me, he’s the strongest in the game currently. I’ve played a lot of FPS over the years so I find getting quick scope shots with him really easy. I get quite a lot of messages from survivors actually praising how good my aim is, as I think a lot of people severely underestimate how good he can be in the right hands. This is proven by the fact injured survivors will still sit in the exit gate, not realising I can drag their ass straight back out.
He’s the most fun to play as and against. I just love him so much.
Thank you!! You're absolutely right. He's literally my favorite killer because he's so fun and because I played a lot of online shooter games before dbd, I got the hang of him super fast. Because of past games, my aim is amazing and it's so fun to go against toxic survivors because it's like, "oh? You're going to run at that pallet to try to stop and blind me? [Gunshot] no💕"
"Oh? You're going to start teabagging me? I'm just going to have to drag your ass back over here then"

Personally deatgslinger shine in the a 1v1 but the second you see a pallet deathslinger last that chase.
Plague is just bad she have 1 addon that can make her op but overall she dont do much she get loop easy and if survivor dont cleanse you can only use her power 1 single time in the entire trial
You must have some weird matches because that 4% of the time I play against these two I get absolutely destroyed and so does everyone else in that match. They both are long-ranged killers so people are going to be more busy trying to juke his gun and her vomit. While they try to juke it, it makes it easier to get super close because they wasted so much time trying to avoid their long-ranged power so then they just get hit across the face.
Plus, even on pallets, I shoot the survivor on the other side because even if I can't hit them or if the chain breaks, it still adds major damage and they'll end up running away and getting caught.

I like Furtive Chase/Nemesis/Make Your Choice (+BBQ) when I want to make a "kill the unhooker" build.
Expect the survivors to be the same, change up the way you kill them.
Thanks for the advice, it's just a don't have three of those perks and I can't get them unless I buy the character who has them.

Sprint Burst and Dead Hard can't be combined.
It was an example of what they usually had, I know very well that they can't be combined.

I wouldn't be saying all of this if I didn't do that. Plus I never said that I wasn't catching them and killing them. This isn't a complaint post, it's just me saying that they're all the same and no one is different. I still always get at least two of them and yes I do change my perks and killer a lot.

Nobody is that good as killer. You do lose SOMETIMES, right? If you haven't camped at the end when the exit gates are open, you're just giving them free escapes. Because why would you leave the hook? It's the only time camping is appropriate and not toxic. That's the kind of camping I'm talking about here.
I'm still not going to camp though.
-
@danielmaster87 said:
Lol. Never forced to camp? You're either new or foolish. When the gates are 99d and someone is on the hook, you don't leave them unless you're looking to give them a free escape.
Naw i ain't new or foolish, if I'm not forced to camp than it means I'm doing a hell of a good job and I haven't had to camp.

LF is because you cannot unhook against him if he plays it smart. at least 1 person will go down if he can't react to a borrowed time. if he can react, 2 will go down.
Trappers don't camp. at least I haven't seen one who does. But the trapper is a very territorial killer, he usually sets all his traps minus 1 in an area of the map (containing 3 or 4 gens usually) and then they don't leave this area. why would they? that's probably what is going down and you are calling it camping, so let's make this clear... define what camping means to you.
I stand by what I said when I said Trappers camp a lot. I'm not talking about Trappers who stay in the area, I'm ACTUALLY talking about TRAPPERS who just stand there watching you as you die. Like they don't stop watching you from five feet away, because I get them A LOT. I can totally deal with them literally staying close by setting traps and stuff it's not a big deal at all, it's what they do.
But yes, I get a lot of ACTUAL camping Trappers and quite a lot of LF's too.
-
@Toybasher said:
For Leatherface I think it's because current LF's chainsaw is so hard to hit people with in a chase camping is literally the only thing he's really good at. Also, the memes with insidious bubba hiding in the basement.
Agreed, I forgot how hard it is for LF to hit people with that chainsaw so all they have left is to camp.
-
@Clevite said:
Some LF like to do this because it is really easy to do with him and it has become kinda a meme.
I think more trappers may proxy here and there, but I honestly don't see a lot of them straight camp.
For me, I think I have seen a lot of GF and slingers camp.
Yeah it's just a meme at this point, but I am a bit confused about the GF and Deathslinger thing you mentioned. I've played GF for a bit and after understanding that he can stalk from pretty far places without being noticed I now see why people think he's "camping" I used to apply pressure to gens while someone is hooked and every few seconds id look around the corner to see if anyone is coming to rescue. By the time they rescue the person, I had the saver stalked and they became a one-hit target just like the person who just got off the hook. So I mean I see why people say he "camps" but I think he's just using his Night Shroud in the best way he can by staying near.
I don't know what to really say about Deathslinger because I haven't played as him yet but I have played against him a crap ton and so far none has shown any sign of "camping*
Other people have different games so you might be experiencing some camping killers more than me.
-
@BaldursGate2 said:
Easy. Because survivors are stupid sometimes and instead of doing gens, they try to unhook or waste time until they realise, there is no chance to do it, especially against LF. The LF player that does this realizes that and even when he camps one guy, the game gets tremendiously easier when there are only 3 ppl left.
I said all of that because my team was actually SMART about what was going on and I was just being camped by another camping LF. He just stood in my face for the whole trial hitting my body and I stayed still just smiling back because I knew he wasn't going to get this kill.

He has no terror radius at all while Night shroud is active. Crouching has no effect on your terror radius. While Night shroud isn't active he has the standard killer terror radius. (32 meters)
Thank you so much, I needed that information really badly.

@Lx_malice said:
I don't main Ghostface but he's up there as one of my most played killers. I like to use enduring and spirit fury on him along with Nurse's Calling and Whispers. Whispers may seem questionable especially when you notice I don't use any gen slowdown/regression, but I like using it to know where I should be looking at the beginning of the match and it also helps you find the last person. Nurse's is obvious because it works wonders on a killer like Ghostface who can hide their terror radius and easily sneak up on a poor vulnerable sap trying to get healed. And enduring/spirit fury because I like being able to not care about pallets. Honestly though this is just what I like using and what works for me but if anything I'd still consider Nurse's a good staple perk on him because he makes very good use out of it like I said before. And of course you'll wanna make sure that you always use a combination of the Night shroud recovery speed add-ons. Chewed pen with Olsen's adress book is are of course the best but the matchbook works as a good substitute for either one.
Just like the other reply next to yours, i really like this reply because you give good advice. This is a dumb question, I swear I'm not a fool but does Ghostface not have a heartbeat at all or is it only gone when I'm crouching or using Night Shroud?

Addons
Double Nightshroud Cooldown
Perks
BBQ - For BP and finding people after hooks
A Nurse's Calling - For finding injured survs and ambushing them
Sloppy Butcher - More slowdown in healing for NC
Hex: Ruin - Gen Regression
BBQ could be traded out for Tremors/Discordance/Surveillance. Ruin can be traded out for Pop.
The plan is to hit people constantly, don't worry about chases too much. Injure people and keep them off gens for Ruin and then take out anyone you find healing with Nurse's Calling.
Okay thank you a lot, I already knew about Nurse's calling and sloppy killer and since you mentioned it also i know for sure that I will use those perks.

You a Freddy main or something? Cause he ain't good enough to get me and it's my opinion.
-
@Kagrenac said:
Good Freddie's can keep control of objectives super easily and can keep survivors from getting to certain gens or even utilizing powerful loops spots.
He even directly counters Borrowed Time which is one of the best survivor perks right now.
That may be true but he's still easy to invade, I've never not escaped playing against him because of that.

You guys can reveal Ghost Face? :D
I kid, I kid (...kind of) but I have no issues with it. GF would be ridiculously overpowered if a survivor had to actually turn their body and look right at GF to kill his shroud (like in chases).
To me, it's just the nature of the two views. If the killer was in 3rd person, I'd guess SC would activate if the camera looks at the survivor too (or if survivors were in 1st person, gf depowers when looking in the direction of gf).
Absolutely agree, after reading some comments I've decided to also leave it alone. I guess he would be really overpowered if survivors had to actually face him😂.
-
@MojoTheFabulous said:
Then he could easily stalk you during a chase because if you turn around to look at him you're going to get hit.
Oh no of course, I understand that, but in a chase situation, they could be able to stop him from stalking. It would cool if they just had to actually face him to stop him while they are working on gen or they could stop working on the gen and then face him.
-
I use mori because I play as Ghostface and I enjoy taking selfies with their dying corpses thank you very much. Plus I RARELY get Mori's from my blood web, so I get one, I'm using it.
Plus, no one "lacks skill" if they use a mori, if anything it's a quick kill so it's a good choice.

Because GF can completely eliminate his TR with a click of a button and keep survivors pressured by constantly sneaking up on them so he can ignore chase a lot of the times. Micheal cannot
100% agree

@PrettyFaceKate said:
Spine Chill goes off when the Killer is looking in the direction of the survivor, not the other way around. It doesn't matter what direction the survivor is facing or looking at. Also, there's no reveal if the line of sight to GF is blocked (barring latency or broken texture). Whenever I hear the reveal sound, I just instinctively crouch. That usually stops it and I've had some real staring contests with survivors just in front of me.
Yeah, I just said that. The killers have to be FACING the direction of where the survivor is for Spine Chill to go off.
And yes, I'm able to quickly hide if they see me to avoid being caught but lately, it just feels like that isn't working at all. I get spotted for a SECOND and my screen is blowing up with notifications of people looking at me while running away or that my power was stopped. But I get what you mean.
-
@Alice_pbg said:
I don't think there's a system in place to check where the survivor model is facing.
Implementing one just for gf would be unnecessary.
True true
-
@stagprince said:
it looks right to me because when they turn their camera their heads also turns
well i think its fair because ghostface also hides his terror radius
Yeah, that's true. I don't have a heartbeat so they can't hear me coming but rarely do people NOT look around while working on a gen so it's hard to actually stalk them unless I'm in a cornfield or tall grass.
-

this is what happens when you play both sides you begin to see how things are.
Yeah, it's really neat like that. I've discovered a lot of tricks and game playing styles by playing both sides and it's really beneficial while I play. It's a good way to get really good at playing both survivor and killer.

@cheetocultleader said:
For killers, Plague. A good Plague is fearsome. I wouldn't say she's my favorite, that goes to Pig so far, but she's powerful.
For survivor's, Adam. He can blend with his black outfit if that is your wish. Deliverance is kind of hilarious and I pulled it off tonight against a Nurse. Same with Pebble. I was able to save someone by causing an explosion, and when I was downed right at hatch, I threw another Pebble at her face. We don't talk about the last skill.
I completely agree that the Plague and Adam are underrated characters. I've rarely played against the Plague but when I have it was always a TUFF match. It was annoying that I was always drinking water and I was always getting sick when I was trying to help people but that's what makes the Plague a good killer.
I've played with Adam a few times and you're completely correct when you say he's underrated because he's always the last remaining survivor and he's always the one getting the most work done.
-
I personally feel like Jake is the most attractive male character, especially the scruffy head Jake. Laurie is probably the most attractive female character for me.
When you start looking into fanart of certain survivors you'll see what I mean cause I feel like the game did everyone dirty with those hideous headshots of the characters.
