I'm interested in what you think the egc should be on a 0k. Should the killer also say nothing if they get a 4k?

It certainly shouldn't be "GG WP!!!" after you get a 0k. OP got 3 hooks in his game. How is that WP? You think that's what someone wants to hear after they lose that badly? And I never say anything to my opponents after the game ever as killer, I just move on immediately

  • 1:45:00 in that video is AWESOME. Make them pay for that obnoxious Eyrie of Crows offering. Definitely following and subbing to this guy. This is a cool build I'm going to have to try myself

  • Yeah most relatable for me is annoying ass BT and OTR bodyblockers. These guys get proxy camped and hard tunneled out of the game immediately. You want my attention and want to stop me from going for someone else, you got it. Enjoy getting 8,000 points. The flashlight players that do the one click then spin thing are annoying as hell too. I can imagine they're sitting there with their cheeto dusted shirt on going "yukyukyukyuk I'm so cool with my flashlight, I'm gonna make my juke montage and it's gonna be so cool"

  • @woodenEnthusiasm said:

Part of the reason is because they're critically underfunded. Their entire map team is about 3 people. They're stretched so thin they auto generate their collisions and can't clean them up

Actually Eyrie is like one of my fav maps as a surv.

    Wow can't imagine why

  • Your post game chat is pretty interesting. It reminds me when Ayrun and his SWF buddy were non stop flashlight saving and dunking on Otz on The Game and they're like "wow he's doing good pressuring!" even though they were clowning on Otz the entire time. ######### is annoying. I love when they message me gg wp after getting a 0k. That annoys me

  • Nah bro, you just need to get good. SWF doesn't even give any advantages, solo queue would have stomped you just as hard. Just accept that SWF is broken they're only 0.000001% of your matches. We need to nerf Nurse, Blight, and Sadako's condemned too while we're at it

How on Earth would Grim Embrace basekit Make tunneling easier? I have to hook all 4 Survs ONCE to get all gens blocked.

If I do this, I went out of my way to catch everyone of you once.

And ######### do you mean with more buffs? Survs got a cranked up Version of an essential Perk (BT) into their Basekit, while the perk itself even enchances (DOUBLES!) the effect in EVERY Situation. What did Killers get in this Patch? A crippled basekit version of Pop, while the Perk, even combined with the basekit version is still WORSE than the OG Pop... not to mention that hex ruin is useless now, corrupt got destroyed aswell, overcharge got tuned down due to heavy outcry of survs...

But yeah, I bet you think OG Dead Hard was balanced and healthy for the game...

Ppl like you are the real problem. Playing Powerrole, not understanding the basics of balancing but crying the loudest for nerfs...

    Pathetic!

Grim Embrace is weak as hell, its only 40 seconds.

Calling the basekit buff mini pop is an overstatement lol, its only 2.5% regression

  • Yeah it's definitely .2 second faster cooldown recovery and pallet smashing that caused all this. It's matchmaking that is garbage in this game. That's why I stopped playing solo queue. I'm mediocre at survivor getting matched with total newbs and we're playing against 5k hour streamers like Ralph and One Pump Willie. ######### that

  • It's not overhyped at all. It's very easy to use and get massive value from if you dedicate your build to it. I played solo queue with commodius/more charges add on/BNP with Hyperfocus/Stakeout/Built to Last/Streetwise and was easily able to bang out 2 generators right at around 50 seconds on average (without Stakeout value) and down to like 45 seconds with Stakeout stacks. That is not healthy for the game at all. It's absurd

  • Wow at everyone recommending tunneling, that's unfun for the booner, they don't even get to play the game!!

  • If you get killed by a Myers, you're a baby survivor lol

  • It's pretty funny that survivors can just do whatever they want to tilt the game in their favor. Eyrie of Crows, Garden of Joy, Fractured Cowshed offerings, saboing hooks, high efficiency gen rushing with hyperfocus/brand new part/stakeout, bodyblocking with OTR and BT to keep the killer from going for someone else, exploiting no pick up zones, snap running to infinites on garden of joy, obnoxious flashlight clicking, teabagging, etc but when the killer camps/tunnels to win the game, he's a toxic piece of ######### ruining the game. Like anyone finds it fun at all to play against obnoxious ass 4 man SWFs with Eyrie offerings

  • The MacMillan maps are trash too after they added in their cool new tiles that spawn ridiculous setups. Have fun playing on Suffo Pit, Groaning, and Ironworks against people with boons that can loop. Killer sided game though

  • They are never going to balance maps lol. Just expect every map to be insanely survivor sided

  • Meddle of Man was in the game long enough to sell a bunch of DLC. It certainly wasn't changed quickly. Maybe quickly by these devs standard

  • They might change it in 5 years if you're lucky just like with Dead Hard. They'll probably make it stronger somehow too

  • Devs do something to fix things killers find unfun in the game? HAHAHAHA. Took them forever to get DS to a balance state, old Dead Hard was in the game for 5+ years and now is even stronger than before, BS maps haven't been touched, SWF still dominates. Yeah good luck with that. Next patch will have basekit Circle of Healing, DS, and Adrenaline

  • I mean if solo is too hard for you then play baby easy mode SWF where your friends can tell you where the killer is 100% of the time and you guys can all stack 2nd chance and gen rush perks. Don't forget to throw in an Eyrie of Crows offering too.

  • Anything to make the game easier and easier for survivor. Stuff 30 safe pallets in a map with giant hit boxes. Peak game design

He is BHVR's best killer yet. He's from an established license that has plenty of existing fans. He's incredibly entertaining with his lines and sounds (the grunt when he dashes is satisfying). His power is unique, easy to understand but has a sky high skill ceiling. He's strong enough to where you don't need 4 crutch perks to have a good chance at winning. He has huge build and playstyle variety. And the most important part, he plays around different loops DIFFERENTLY.

Issue with other recent killers is that they get too same-y after a while. Artist for example, uses her power the exact same way on every loop. Dredge at least has nightfall and the locker teleportation, but other than that it's the same issue. Wesker can do different things to win on the exact same loop. That is what I believe sets him apart.

Also I don't play much survivor but I haven't seen much Wesker. Only Legion, Trickster and Spirit (and the occasional meming basement Bubba). Anecdotal, I know. Still felt strange I haven't seen him much.

How exactly are perks a crutch if they're actually necessary to even have a chance at high MMR?

  • He'd be more fun if we could loop him for 5 gens like Pig! BHVR nerf please!

  • Because he has zero power on any map that has a lot of windows

  • I wish they just changed this perk to do something else completely instead of keeping in this completely unfun, bogus gameplay loop of breathe down the survivor's neck and wait for him to Dead Hard before you can swing. It's obnoxious. No killer player enjoys this at all. It's amazing how they spend patch after patch to fix "unfun" things in the game that Survivors hate, with slugging being next on the board, while old Dead Hard stayed in the game for 5+ years, maps are still broken as hell, and 4-man SWF stomps every killer that's not a good Nurse or Blight. Literally nothing to fix any of those things that killers find unfun

  • Survivors want every killer to be Trapper with no traps lol

  • Just watch videos from the big content creators. You can win your games without camping and tunneling as long as you put in 5k hours. SWF doesn't even give any advantages!

  • Survivors want Sadako to just play like Pig so they can loop her for 5 gens. Survivors need the devs to hold their hands even more out the gate

  • Lol at asking for nerfs to the worst killer in the game

  • You don't HAVE to 4 slug as Twins to win lol. Preemptively move Victor to the hook you're going to use then hook the survivor so you can long range camp with Charlotte!

  • Yeah I agree op. People complain about killers being brainless or not taking skill or whatever but it isn't even hard to win as survivor. Just hard split and stay on gens, hold w and predrop. Ez game

  • We're silent hill fan boys and exit gates are easy to patrol

  • I'm sure killers would love to but there's Spine Chill and a little thing called SWF on voice comms where no matter how well you conceal yourself with no TR, dude is already pre running a mile away

  • He's fun! Great cosmetics, fun to use power, great laugh, good mori and belly

  • When I was going for the achievement, I only got annoyed when the very last survivor did the locker thing after I already had 3 Tombstone kills. At that point, I think they're just being petty to deny the achievement. They're dead either way, locker or Tombstone, it makes no difference

Your forum roleplay of "I say everything about killer is OP" is getting old already, when are you stopping?

Never. The mods just let them do their thing even though everyone knows what they're doing. They're actually a 5k hour+ Nurse main that plays the embodiment of what their posts complain about lol

maybe its the survivor then. I know for a fact that fengs, jun jin and dwights are hated uppon, for some unknown reason. Yui survivors are liked mostly, at least thats what i get as an yui main, i almost never get BM'd by killers. But i havent heard that rebecca has a bad reputation, maybe its because your brother played yui. Could be anything and maybe the killer really was just a douche or mad about the PTB

Steves trigger killers more than anyone lol. How could anyone beat Rebecca on hook?? She's so wholesome!

  • Maybe you're doing something that killers hate that you don't think is BM, like running directly at the killer with your OTR to bodyblock for your friend or something

I'm curious if people will take issue with this change. I remember a thread some months ago where a large portion of people seemed to have the opinion no changes should be made and photosensitive people just shouldn't play.

It's because macro clicking is a good mindgame to use against the killer!

  • Windows of Opportunity is very OP and needs to be given a large cool down so it's only used once a chase

  • Save the Best for Last is IMO the best killer perk right now. It's great because it helps you tunnel more effectively. You hit the dude right off the hook, get a stack, get rid of his OTR/DH, down him again. If he has DS, oh well, move on to the next target, if not, one step closer to victory!

  • It's just a mindgame, bro! Get thicker skin!

How would you know they were banned? I’ve never gotten a report back to me saying if they had been banned or not, and I’ve reported a handful of obvious cheaters with video evidence. No touch back or anything

I reported someone with a Steam profile and later saw they had a game ban on record about 30 days after I reported them. Only way that I know of. I reported some anonymous people but not sure if anything happened to them. Hopefully cause it was blatant

Unfortunately the two that I ran into were the killer. So i had no way of pre-emptively knowing that I was facing those individuals.

Unfortunate. I stopped playing solo queue cause of matchmaking, so this hasn't happened to me

  • Dodge any lobby with an anonymous mode person. That's what I do. It's helped lower the number of cheaters I've been facing. At least blatant ones

You can't ignore it either; they're in your face with it. A mod once told me "You can stop tbags. You hit the survivor." Oh wow, I never thought of that? So it's that easy? No.

I wouldn't let it get to me, but it's way too common at this point. Every survivor and their mother, tbagging because they think escaping as survivor is an achievement. And they get away with this thinking too, because they get encouragement from the community, and you're a baby killer if you didn't kill them.

Yep. Think about all the whining about camping and tunneling and slugging from survivors, yet when they play against a fair killer that loses while not doing that, it's practically guaranteed teabagging at the exit gates. Such appreciation for a good game. It's not even hard to escape lol. Survivor is piss easy unless you get bad teammates

Yeah, the Mori change is bizarre for both the reasoning and execution. It seems like it is really a pointless change, and I've not heard anyone complain about the Mori being toxic, and whilst obviously it doesn't mean nobody has complained, it's just a really confused excuse for the change.

Probably racist mori users targeting Claudette

  • I play insidious camping Bubba to give the hook rescuer a big jump scare! Then I hit 'em on the hook

That update isn't here yet, hasn't been tested yet and just like anything can change even after it's been implemented, tested and launched on live servers.

And if i lost where's the issue? Can't i accept the loss and just go to another match? Where does this notion that killers should always win or not lose come from!? That's something i've never learned or picked from watching anyone even when i watch the most Competitive oriented people. Sure i do want to win, it's human nature and sure i get frustrated BUT it's literally impossible to win always. One day you'll lose and the later that happens the later you'll learn the lesson. The worse the blow on your Ego. Don't get accustemed to losing because that means you're losing too much but you'll lose and lose until you find your own way to winning.

My point is they're getting rid of a legitimate strategy killers can use to snowball and comeback. They're trying to force a 12 hook playstyle when the game isn't remotely balanced for that. SWF is OP, maps are trash for most killers, and gens are flying faster than ever

  • Don't know what you guys expect lol. Survivors whine about valid strategies and the devs give them meta Perks basekit so they can stack genrush perks. Killers complaining about macro flashlights, teabagging, sitting on the exit gate or hatch for entire egc, get told to grow thick skin and deal with it. The devs even said they wanted teabagging to still be satisfying when they made the animations change

  • @lemonsway said:

You don't need to Camp and tunnel to win. And even if you camp and tunnel you won't win every match. Killers don't win just by their skill. What your skill as a killer and with a certain killer does is give you enough experience and tools to maximize the chances of winning.

Killers need to understand that survivors making mistakes is exactly why momemtum swings in favor of killers. Downing survivors left and right doesn't mean that the time they have being up isn't being just as well spent as the killers time. Both things happen.

A survivor that is as competent as possible will loop and waste alot of killers time. It doesn't even have to be a BUSTED Map or BUSTED perks. Just competent pathing and mindgames are enough. A single Mindgame can guarantee a Hit or a Miss.

This single survivor will give everyone else enough free time to do whatever. Thats why Bloodlust exists as a catchup mechanic. Bloodlust is the game saying ok this has gone for long enough. As a killer if you find yourself reaching bloodlust all the time in a chase then you need to work on something, a different build that allows more chase potential and more time to chase, a different playstyle, maybe just a different killer altogether. But every killer has a way to be played to maximize their efficiency. IT's why some people say Sadako sucks and some do really well with her. It's why some people say Trickster sucks and some people will dominate as Trickster. CoconutRTS is an amazing TRickster, he will hit knifes on you from pretty damn far, i've seen with my own eyes. Seth is an extraordinary Sadako that will shatter your ankles with his mindgames.

Survivors being efficient will happen on the most fair Map and even without Perks. The issue is the game isn't tailored, Balanced, for a level of play where everything is efficient. So when you do stuff like Perks, items and the RNG of Maps things can get extremely complicated for killers. The only thing you can do is accept the conditions and train yourself to just not give in.

A few hours ago i had an incredibly hard match as Spirit, a really good killer, in her own Map, Yamaoka Estate. For the life of me i couldn't get a single chase to work. It honestly felt like i was playing against subtle speed cheaters because it was weird how i could never catch them. I lost gen after gen until 1 gen remained, i managed to finally catch the one gigantic problem. HOW? By losing the gens, the survivors were forced into coming in closer. It wasn't a 3 gen, i had 1 middle gen which they eventually completed and 2 other gens spread to both sides of the map.

So how do i win? well 3 of them decided to do that middle gen, so i just had to keep hitting them, make it hard to complete the gen. I finally catch a survivor, slug them and injure the other 2 cause they're all together in the same trying to do the gen while i'd carry the survivor to a hook so i slugged and injured the 2 before hooking the slug. Forcing the 4th survivor to come, they made a mistake on a midngame and i hit them, and then there's 3 guys trying to save 1 dude.

3 gigantic mistakes they made. 3 of them were on the same gen, those same 3 all got injured and 1 got hooked, the 4th guy failed the first rescue attempt. I protected the gen and hook cause they were close, i understand if you're gonna call camping on that but thats 1 moment of the game and not all i did. I get another down, slug that guy, intercept another rescue attempt, causing the guy to die, now there's 2 slugs and the 4th guy finishes the gen but he can't do anything else. I slug him and hook the other 2. Then im forced to bleeding the 4th cause i had no hooks nearby anymore, mistake on my part i could probably have carried someone to another hook but at that moment the thought was i freaking deserve these kills so i just hooked them asap lol.

All this to say that YOU CAN FIGHT BACK and if you still end up with a gigantic L then take it. I was still pissed off at how hard i had to try but believe me i know that's how i'll keep winning. Struggling is necessary. It's not fun, it won't really feel rewarding, but you're gonna have to just endure it and keep struggling. Very soon you'll make better decisions and start preventing struggles. I don't believe in the bullcrap that trying really hard makes things feel better, it doesn't, the stress of having gone through that hardship doesn't make the victory any sweeter. The next struggle could be the match after this one, that's not a sweet thing. You Endure, you struggle and you accept the result of your struggle. When you're comfortable with struggling then you've won cause you know to win.

Yet after the next update you would have lost badly cause the guy rushing the gen can just sit there cause his teammate can get up himself
