Over 5 items and or perks devoted to taking out Ruin, DL goes the moment you kill the Obsession or they Quit. You shouldn't have to run UD to keep Ruin, UD shouldn't be a hex if it's used to KEEP A HEX yeah a hex to prevent a hex from being lost but that hex can be found first, oh did I mention maps and detective's hunch and did you meet small game? No? So all Meta and semi-meta slowdown perks are Obsolete, Trash that needs to be tweaked but it's because of a bad killer? Sure they make mistakes but how many mistakes can a survivor make with a safe guard? Quite a bit, 16 perks vs 4 said 4 of the killer's are not allowed to counter survivor's perks anymore such as IW and Stridor which was originally a counter to my knowledge. The simple fact that there isn't perk counter perk balance is the actual problem with the game. But you know 101 perks and a community only uses 4 as their meta, while the killer's has a Obsolete and Person/Situational condition to be met that can be taken from them for a mistake. Oh the survivor's job is so darn hard and dangerous, this is like a movie where the survivor's are actually the killer's and the killer is just trying to get the hell out from bouncing trolls with their junk out as they flop it about. Rofl.
You realize the whole point of a hex is you're not suppose to keep it, right? They have powerful effects but can be removed. That's literally the entire system. It's a gamble. But I do agree with the IW and Stridor point. It was more done out of reaction for old Spirit I think. IW definitely should not keep noises mute because survivors can literally lose you behind walls solely because you don't have any clues to where they went. It makes being injured less of a debuff and just another health state before going down. Still though the way you go about saying this is very immature and victimizing. Painting killers are the only ones with bad perks while survivors are just sadistic towards them with their """op"""" perks.

of course he committed to cheryl, the chase started with an instant injure on a killer like that, it's just that the map baits you into thinking that surely there won't be another god loop around this corner as well
and speaking of the map, it's rancid abattoir you realize, there's hardly any 'bad part of the map' to be chasing someone in and the difference in swapping off cheryl to go perturb gens is cheryl gets on a gen and you're back to square one without a lucky insta-injure probably
that's also not in the slightest what corrupt is for but everything else you posted is so further far-removed that it's hardly even worth touching on
Cmwinter is a pig main so I'm sure he would be able to recognize that 1 trap isn't worth 0 pressure. Cheryl was stuck with 3 gens blocked, so her getting on a gen wouldn't be too big of a deal since there'd be little time investment if he would've interrupted the others and gained pressure that way. Rancid is a small map too so its far easier to pressure than a normal map would be, so if you played around the pallets correctly then there shouldn't be a problem. None of the loops Cheryl went into were god loops and were all able to be played against. Literally anything other than chasing Cheryl would have been better. And if I'm wrong about Corrupt then how should you use it?

Had he broken off from Cheryl that would have changed nothing if he had to find another person and they looped the killer in an area that still had pallets. And what happens when all survivors can loop as good as Cheryl? Cause not all matches have a weak link.
If he broke off from Cheryl it'd change a lot actually. Cheryl was next to none of his gens so her looping there was entirely safe. The gens were all in close proximity so chances are that one of the survivors would've ran into the gens that other survivors were on. This would open a window to get a few hits, and while that may not be super substantial in the moment it could potentially be crucial to snowballing later. If all survivors looped him well enough that he couldn't down them fast, he could still force pallets down and create dead zones. Further more if you are being outplayed by survivors where all of your chases last over a minute, then that team will likely escape and should escape. You were the one who couldn't keep up with them. I will say it a million times if I have to: good survivors SHOULD escape and not be punished for the killers hurt feelings.

Auric cells are non-refundable and the game can't be refunded with more than 2 hours of playtime. This only going by steams rules so idk about console.

I would like to hear OPs thoughts on this as well.
He spent way too long committing to Cheryl and didn't capitalize on Corrupt by searching gens. The whole point of Corrupt is to cut down your patrol route, yet he sticks to the Cheryl in the part of the map where she can't do anything. It's actually really hard to tell when the match starts because of how the video is cut. But it still supports my argument of killers not managing time well. CM chose a bad chase in a bad part of the map and the survivors were efficient by splitting on 3 gens. All of this was his fault for making bad choices, not the survivors.

So you didn't even give what I said a chance and opted to try and disregard the post? I should be the one asking you if you're trolling instead.

Even with meta perks, gens times are a problem. And, since the meta perks can be removed from the match early, it's even worse. The killer says that out of frustration. It's not the fault of the survivors that they can gen rush, it is the fault of the game design. Likewise, your idea that it is just because the killer got outplayed, is flawed. There is not some great skill involved in gen rushing. You didn't out play the killer, you just used the mechanics that favor survivor success. Killers have to play sweaty in order to be successful. Gen rushing does not require any great gameplay by the survivors, it is just a time factor. Given equal amounts of skill, the game is the survivors' to win or lose. They have the control, not the killer.
Gen rushing is a result of poor time management by the killer and if they cannot build pressure then the survivors played better. It's really as simple as that in most cases. Like I already stated killers change the flow of the chase and can lock down gens to be more advantageous to what they want. The neglect of doing so is what makes killers lose. Yet again, denial of responsibility for the killer role.
There are very few things that you can use to "rush gens". There's prove thyself and toolboxes but that's it. Anything else is the killer not taking charge of their objective and being punished for doing so.

It's not so defensive as it's trying to disprove a common misconception. I never intended this as a "ur bad and im better" post. More as a message and a few tips on how to avoid losing easily.

@Alphasoul05 said:
It's just a frustration thing. Survivors can play well, or they can even play badly but be efficient at gens, and win. You feel a bit robbed because, regardless of winning or losing as a killer in that scenario, it's like the game just slipped out of your control despite you not making mistakes. Good loopers, efficient gens, efficient saving and use of time, bad or large maps, perks and second chances. Everything adds up and they create what can feel unwinnable, in fact sometimes it is.
You can't apply enough pressure to good survivors like that to win, generally speaking, at high 'MMR'. At lower MMR those meta gen managing perks aren't as strong because bad killers can easily be countered by bad survivors pre-dropping pallets and holding Shift+W. Add on gen efficiency, something any bad player can be good at, and winning as a mediocre killer is equally somewhat out of your control. With how MMR works, it won't matter how good you get, you're going to always feel at a disadvantage. You're more likely to hear gen rushing from 'bad' killers because they don't understand how to create pressure, but at high MMR, the fact is, it's actually very, very difficult to create pressure against skilled players.
Some people forgo absolutely everything to do generators. You avoid a dull totem, you avoid a chest, you avoid healing others or being healed yourself. You do everything you can imaginable to do anything other than M1 a generator, possibly even bringing perks and addons to make it faster. You may just be doing your objective but you can't pretend like you're interested in interacting with the killer, and you just want to interact with a generator.
While I agree that skilled survivors can be tricky, it's also the fact that they avoid healing and totems to work through gens that makes it very easy to snowball against them. Many will get cocky knowing that they're about to win and play a little more recklessly. That's the part where you punish them. You make them use resources early and create dead zones. DBD is like tug of war. For every one action you can respond with another. And it's not about who pulls the hardest but more so wearing out your opponent to the point where they can't pull back anymore.

Shoulda put a TL:DR here...
But to answer your Question? Simply put... survivors can stack multiple second chances which results in 6-9 health states,
and you gotta get 12 hooks in a span of 10 minutes or less... Plus you can spawn on their hexes. making it worthless in the end,
All second chance perks can be played around. Unbreakable is kind of iffy since you don't know a survivor has it until they use it, but many of them have become very balanced. DH can be baited or forced by outplaying survivors. DS deactivates when you progress the match. BT is avoidable by simply not tunneling while also being a way to add a little more delay if you do hit as it inflicts deep wound.
Also not everything needs a TL;DR since they can really cripple the argument by leaving out essential information.

every event is just going to be a "level the rift" event from now on it seems. i miss being able to earn blighted serums for skins it was really fun and made the skins feel more special. last year we werent even going to be able to get any for free until bhvr got backlash for that and gave us iri shards. its better than nothing for sure but the fact that they were basically forced by the community to do an event shows how little the events matter now.

why do all killers want survivors nerfed whenever they let the survivors bully them?

... it's matches like these that remind me how sweaty the game can be. There are fewer higher skilled killer players within my region, so higher skilled survivors are going up against casual players like myself A LOT thanks to SBMM, so every game for me is a sweatfest.
In this match Otz lost four gens within three and a half minutes, and only managed two hooks during that time. He also highlights just why Wraith doesn't need a nerf, which I wholeheartedly agree.
https://youtu.be/gevPeu1x4z0
otz didnt play perfectly though. he made quite a few mistakes knowing that he had little room for error. still dont think that wraith needs too big of a nerf, just some of his playstyles do. mostly the hit and run wraith since that is super annoying to go against. personally the thing i'd do to make wraith a little better to play against would be to increase the range that u can see him glimmer by a little bit.

What is capital letters used for?
Capital letters are useful signals for a reader. They have three main purposes: to let the reader know a sentence is beginning, to show important words in a title, and to signal proper names and official titles. 1. Capitals signal the start of a new sentence.
i have a disability that makes it impossible for me to use capital letters

tbh gen speeds arent the problem. its maps that are way too big for the killer to navigate that are. some are so big that by the time u get to the gen its almost done, which is a very tough situation. no real way to defend it unless u have a hooked survivor next to it. i wouldnt mind seeing passive abilites but i also do kinda hate the aspect of them giving free pressure. thankfully pinhead is the only one with this (nemesis too but the zombies end up getting stuck anyways) so its not a huge problem rn. its hard to give killers a meaningful passive that also doesnt just let them have pressure just because theyre playing a certain character.

Bubba being able to facecamp actually makes him good, even if he doesn't do it because survivors have to spend more resources trying to unhook a survivor and will have to be much more cautious.
No it doesnt because that relies on survivors playing bad to be rewarded. It secures a kill while all other gens get finished assuming that the survivor doesn't just straight up kill themselves or dc.

Why would you want to nerf a killer that not many people play? At least propose a buff with that nerf to counter it, his tunneling capability is one of the thinks it makes him good.
Just because its a good part of his kit doesn't make it healthy. Bubba can facecamp pretty hard but that isn't what makes him good. All it does is secure kills.

Ya know, seeing how many people that leave BMs at the door when playing say they had a good experience during the last test, while only those people throwing a tantrum over how unfair it is that bhvr won't just give them an iWin button... you might wanna rethink how you're playing this game when you are convinced it will be bad for everyone.
Its obvious you didnt read ######### i wrote then. This isnt complaining about "waaah its too hard". Youre generalizing the people who are against this way too much. "I" alone am not part of "the problem". Neither are the people who agree with me. The problem is that no matter what you do as an experienced player you are going to go against significantly less skilled players and lose just because theyre bringing the most unfair add-ons and perk combos to guarantee their win. Now, there's nothing wrong with this in general. Some people want to win the game more than others. That's fine. But there's a point to where what you bring is playing on ez mode. And anyone can bring it whenever they want. And the concern is that eventually people are going to just hit a plateau of people just playing ez mode against each other. And it isn't "oh just dont play that way and you wont get there" because you have to go out of your way to lose an uncertain amount of matches to get out of that mmr. You have to essentially shoot yourself in the foot to dodge another bullet. You are literally being punished just for playing the game and being good at it.

I see it more as BHVR seeing a way to improve the rift in a really cheap way. I don't think the intentions were to screw anyone over, but to address the fact that most rifts have just been charm collecting simulators. People have been demanding that the battle pass become an actual battle pass instead of just filler content to make an extra buck. I'm glad that we got new skins, but this was not the right way to go about it.

He's worse then he was before tbh. The buff was laughable. Sure it requires 6 knives now. But the nerf to his throwing rate even with double throw rate add ons is brutal.
Basically..
Laying 7 knives in with the old throw rate was better. Then laying 6 in with the new throw rate. Even with double add ons. It basically defeated the purpose of buffing him. He was underperforming with the old style. Can only imagine it'll plummet even more with the new throw rate
But throw rate doesn't matter if he can still spam knives. Yes, this means that he can't throw as many per second, but it's still a really fast fire rate for what it does.

Nope. Not at all.
Just because Scott said it doesn't make it true.
He's the exact opposite of old Legion.
Old Legion would down any survivor, regardless of skill, in 30 seconds with a 2x stab into a moonwalk.
His damage was unavoidable and would doom the survivor to a predetermined fate regardless of mistakes.
Trickster bullies bad survivors and gets bullied by decent ones.
Run a low tile or go in the open and you die instantly. Run shack decently and you will literally never take damage.
"Just because scott said it doesn't make it true"

See but the growing problem is you're locked into a handful of certain builds. There isn't enough diversity for killer perks yet
There's a lot of diversity for killer perks. It depends on what you want though. Do you want a fun build or do you want an easy win? There's nothing wrong with either build. One is just for funsies while the other shows you mean business and want to win. The only difference is that fun builds take more effort to win with than optimal "win-the-game" builds. It doesn't make you "bad at the game" to run these builds. But it should also go without saying running non-meta against the meta makes things harder. Simple logic. Do you care about survivor fun? Yes? Then good for you! No? Have fun tearing them to shreds then! This game is about playing how you want, and complaining about how other people play only makes you more miserable. Not saying you can't have your complaints on it. I'm just saying its better to let go of it since chances are you also play the game how you see fit.
