Ya'll sleeping on Quentin
-
Yeah what is going up with the middle braid?
-
Yeah idk what they thought "reworking billy" the over heat mechanic is just dumb. His add ons are never useful maybe just turnings if that. But seriously shining a flash light gives you bonus speed? What garbage add ons lol. All people wanted was nerf his insta saw but instead they went over board just like with almost every "rework". They also need to get rid of his screaming like why? Whats the point its just annoying to keep hearing it.
-
I think its better now. It either hits or shes stuck as an m1 huntress. Now with iri though I don't think making it a range requirement would be smart. You're already at 1 hatchet why punish the killer even more? It would just be a bad add on at that point. Plus if they miss they have to go walk to a locker and reload everytime unless you're doing predictable plays like dropping pallets or vaulting in front her with iri.
-
Myers tombstone is unique and stays true to his character. Its more like a strong meme add on. Its fine imo. If you're going against tombstone get in a locker before they grab you by the neck.
-
Damn that's pretty Pogchamp.
-
•Hillbilly
•He was a strong killer. I liked using his ability to do some spicy curves. He was also imo pretty balanced except the insta saw add ons.
•Yeah after his nerfs i just couldn't stand playing billy.
•I kept playing him after his nerf but after a couple of days I couldn't stand playing him anymore. His scream is too loud and annoying that it gives a head ache. And his add ons are a joke. Theres also another more interesting killers now like blight and oni.
• now I'm playing oni and blight these killers are more fun to play. They're power doesn't punish you as much as Billy's.

believe me or not I play SWF because I think it's fun to try to help and survive with your friends and not to make the killer's game a nightmare. My team and I have went against plenty of killers who stomped all over us. Some people act as if when you get matched up against a 4 man SWF you're guaranteed a loss. That's not always the case you just gotta try to play around it and if you do well it can help you become a better killer.
Of course its fun because its easy. Solo is harder because its up to the individual to carry their own weight with little information. Going against a swf teaches nothing. The game either finishes too fast or the survivors will play more immersed. You get information for free vs using a perk. You have a pre made lobby so you can equip perks that the team needs i know because ill jump in swf once in a while and i can see how unfair it is. You can meme around with dumb perks and still get out because the survivors will know where the killers location is at all times. For example "I saw the totem its by the shack" how will a killer get "better" in that example right? There's alot more examples like that which the killer can do nothing about because again you and your friends have extra perks. Like I said buff solo to swf level by adding comms and buff killers accordingly alot of people agree going this way
-
You're constantly under pressure as killer to make a decision knowing that if you make the wrong one it can cost you alot time or the match. Such a small mistake can have a huge impact as killer. And if all the survivors are adept in looping theres little you can do. As survivor though you just have to worry about doing gens or rescuing your team mates. If you're good at looping even better. Imo I enjoy being chased by the killer some rather play immersed so they don't have to worry about looping. If you make a mistake your team mates can help correct it.

How come I don't usually have to slug or do any of that and 4k no problem against most swf teams then besides extremely high level players? People gotta look at their skill level too. If you are average at killer then of course you aren't going to have an easy time against an average team also.
If you got any video proof feel free to share it. The point of the discussion is if swf is fine. But everyone knows the advantages it gives you. If you're the best killer vs the best swf survivors of course the swf team is gonna win. Thats why most killers end up slugging, staying near hook, or dropping a chase and tunneling the worst survivor to create that pressure.
-
Some are bad some are sweaty it all depends on the swf team but is it fine? Nope there needs to be some kind of buff to solos to get into the same level are swf. Just add comms and buff killers. Theres nothing to improve with a swf team idk why people keep saying that. Theres nothing stopping them from talking on discord or console voice chat. Every game against a swf ends the same by either slugging or the team getting too altruistic or everyone having bt and ds and getting a 4 man escape if you're lucky maybe 2.
-
I mean you wont notice why swf if you dont play killer at high ranks. For me you can play all day with your friends on dbd but as soon as you pull up that discord or built in console voice chat then you already have an advantage. Alot people know swf is a problem the whole "people just want to play with their friends" is such a bad excuse. The reason why people choose swf is because they want easier games. If you are having trouble at the rank you are in now without your swf party sorry to tell you this but you were probably boosted to that rank. Get better at looping, bring perks like bt or ds and play killer if you dont already.
-
There's counter play to any killer but if you tell them that they'll just cover their ears and spam nerf. Nobody had a problem with her until recently. She's supposed to be a mind game killer. By making it so survivors know shes phasing it will literally gut her. Shes one of the killers that can go against sweaty swf. If you really hate spirits that bad use iron will and don't start with "I shouldn't use a perk to counter a killer!!!!!1!!1". Killers use gen regression perks on their builds all the time don't give me that excuse survivor mains.
-
Of course its more fun to play against potatoes they don't understand the game as well as high ranks. If you can't counter tunneling, camping or maybe you are just bad at looping it just sounds like its you. But hey there's no problem bullying oh i mean having "fun" against rank 20 killers right?

I really feel RE does not fit into dbd. The trickster chapter must have REALLY sucked if they are teasing it so soon after release.
Thats a good Conspiracy theory. I like it here's my take on it. I wouldn't be surprised if less players played the game after that underwhelming update so they did damage control by saying theres going to be an RE update so dbd boosts its numbers up. Only because they usually don't do early announcements they usually do it the day before or the ptb day.
-
Yeah there still alot of problems with trickster from my view. Its also alot harder for console players but usually they won't make a change for just console. I would just like to have main event to activated whenever we want similar to onis demon dash.
-
Must have been a baby pig. Its not wise to follow survivors with traps on their heads because the timer will not go down during it.

Doubt you'd be saying that if a crazed killer came at you IRL with a bat and knives. :P
If they're looking like trickster probably not. I just think they're some weird cosplayer guy. But if trickster really scares you that's you bro. He's not scary to me or most people.

You have a curious perception of people covered in blood carrying actual weapons. :P
When theyre dressed like that its hard to take that killer seriously

I'd run from a guy covered in blood holding a baseball bat
what you talking about? You wouldn't run from that?
What the little sprinkles of blood he has? And not really if I saw that irl walking down the road id just laugh. Looking like a bootlegged joker to me. But like I said its up to the person what they think is scary.
-
Nah a killer like trickster will never be viable at top level. He might do well with solos or low rank players but he will definitely have a hard time against decent players. He's 110% so no map pressure, he still needs to hit 8 shots, new maps have more safe pallets so looping him isn't gonna be hard and imo m1 is still stronger than his knives.
-
He's just not scary. You got all these different killers that actually look scary (except maybe legion too) and then there's trickster. Who would actually look at that and be like yeah that looks something I'd run from. Trickster doesn't fill any criteria of what a killer should look like imo. It also depends on what a person thinks a killer should look like.
-
If they make bt 8 seconds instead of 12 it'll be a fair change. 12 seconds is pretty unfair now that it will activate without TR.
-
To be fair 12 seconds is a bit much. 8 seconds would be a nice compromise.
-
Nah totem counter shouldn't be base kit imo. Small game with totem counter is fine.

Ever consider maybe they looked at kill rates across all ranks and not just one? Nurse is strong at higher ranks meaning her skillcap is high and low rank players are bad with her. Freddy was easy at all ranks meaning his skillcap was low and all players could be good with him.
That doesn't matter though they said kill rates nothing about what ranks. If they're gonna nerf killers for high kill rates then it would make sense to buff low kill rate killers. They should never look at kill rates to nerf or buff a killer tbh. Because it should go both ways if they're gonna buff/nerf a killer
-
Both nurse and blight are fun to learn and play but blight is alot more fun than nurse tbh. Nurse can be frustrating to play as because her blinking can be stopped with the smallest pixel on the game. Shes also slower than survivors so you can't just go up to them to m1 them.
-
Ayeee its sluzzy! Could be because most the community is saying he is a weak killer.
-
Only blood points that affect certain categories and be replaced with cakes/puddings. I just don't see a point in offerings that affect 1 category.
-
I mean killers have 3 perks the entire game. Noed can be destroyed before or after the 5th gen pops. The game isn't over after the 5th gen is popped. Theres no valid arguments when survivors call someone "OP"or "the killer gets ez kills". Survivors fsiled to do part of the objective which is totems. You would kill the perk with these changes and let's be honest the perk is used more by low ranked killers.
-
I think ds should definitely get a small buff. I would like it if it had the same effect as a bloody party starter/fire cracker.

Because a certain dev said in a stream lately they will not even be looking at Trickster for 2 months.
Get comfy.
Knowing them probably 6 months to a year lmao.

Well a swf with all having DS isn't fun for the killer either but now DS is true anti tunnel meaning that if the killer goes after you after being unhook and they knock you down you'll still have that DS. The main problem with DS was that survivors hopped on gens while injured and got a good chunk out of it before being knocked down or insta rescuing a hooked survivor because they have DS. DS was bad for killers who played fair. I'm glad they changed now my ques for survivor are faster.
-
Yeah pretty much thats what DS was really about. Finishing gens in front of killers then getting hit with it after downing that same survivor. There was no counter play all they told you to do was "slug or take the ds" which could hurted your pressure on the game. I never thought it was a good perk but you sure could exploit it.
-
Tunneling and camping will always be in the game theres no way to balance it out without breaking something else. Killers will tunnel if gens are going too fast. You gotta remember most of the killers don't have movement abilities and can't traverse the big maps. Killers have limited regression perks and running a all gen regression build isn't that great. Camping is also hard to fix. Maybe it could work like pyramid head cgaes that disappear is PH is too close but even something as simple as that can break the
-
Maybe you and your team were bad. Not hard to destroyed potato teams with any killer. Problem is against good or decent survivors hes going to struggle. His ability is worthless even at pallets or windows because it takes 8 knifes to injured 1 survivor. Huntrees or slinger take 1 shot depending on the situation. So most of the time using M1 is stronger than his ability. And even when using M1 hes still 110% speed so good luck hitting 8 knives around loops because he slows down and has recoil when he throws them.
-
Sluzzy were all expecting something big from you for April fools.
-
Its over they're no longer with us. They belong to trickster now.

Never needed it before because the fear of it put most killers off. The nerf made it significantly less desirable compared to other perks so killers are just playing like its not in play because it's likely not. And if it is? It's a very short stun anyway so why not eat it and continue the tunnel?
I'd it's meant to be an anti-tunnel perk now it needs to be more punishing to tunnelling killers.
Idk maybe we will have to see how the new DS plays. But everyone knows old ds was a problem. And a stun is a stun no matter how short it can change the pressure of the game. For now though just wait for how the new DS goes.
-
If you didn't rely on it before why would you want a buff? Things like that doesn't make sense to me. But no it doesn't need buff. Now it's still anti tunnel you just can't sit on a gen in front of a killer.
-
I just think tricksters power is so useless in a chase you're better off M1 them. Main event might be decent but you still have to build it up. Hutress and gunslinger are better because you don't have to hit them 8 times just to cause damage.
-
Teabagging in general is rude in almost every game. Its just a way of telling a person "ha I'm better than you" imo.
-
It wasn't nerfed more like reworked. Old ruin is better than new ruin tbh. It regressed the gens so much and you could pair it with pgtw. Most survivors struggled with the skill checks.
-
I think a "chill mode" mode would be a 2v8 in a big map but have it only appear for a couple of hours
-
Demo is a good example of what happens when you add too many counters.. He's weak imo. His abilities are nothing unique and uninteresting. I rather play legion. His shred can be easily dodge, his portals can be destroyed and you also have to walk to a portal or set up one which takes time, his foot steps are loud so you know where he is so looping a demo is easy and everything he does like kicking a gen or teleporting is known by survivors. If I rated him it be a C or maybe even a D.
-
It depends on what play style you are comfortable with. But for me I used to play stealthy but found that my looping skills wasn't as great as others because I always avoided chases. I would definitely try adding iron will instead of UE or kindred. It really helps at losing the killer.
-
So you want a killer that can't see survivors be seen by the survivors when she's phasing? What a terrible idea. Whats next have her not be able to hear survivors when she's phasing? She has counterplay. More than enough so you can loop her if you're constantly falling for the stand still mind game its your own fault. If you really hate spirits run iron will. In the ptb when she was released you could hear her voice when she was phasing. That made her so weak you could immediately know where she was so you could drop a pallet early making her too easy to loop.
-
If you tunnel a survivor who's been unhooked you're still gonna get hit with ds nothing has changed except the fact that survivors no longer do gens in front of killers. I don't even use ds and I made it to rank one its all about knowing how to loop a killer bro.
-
This is how i feel when 3 gens pop in the first minute of the game.
