You seem to be Russian. I bet the Killer was Russian as well (a lot of Huntress-players seem to be Russian on EU-Servers). So you both probably connect with somewhat high Ping to the Server, so the Ping Difference between you two is probably big.
And this is the result.
I also really dont like to go against Huntress anymore since Dedicated Server are live.
When they announced dedicated servers, I was one of the few people against them. One of the reasons was that people in remote areas would have significantly worse ping to the servers that are usually ubicated in highly popular areas.
If you haven't had a good match against Huntress since the release of dedicated servers, them I'm sorry for you.

When exit gate were opened. Not since when the fifth gen pops.
But it would still mean, going back to an old and obsolete mechanic.

I said that noed should be a one minute timer. Someone else said that it would make the perk useless. I played endgame noed builds, and then thought that a 60 seconds timer might make those builds bland then. So i wouldn't be against a bigger timer or a permanent noed under certain conditions. When someone make a valid point my position evolve. You didn't make any, and you make no sense.
Thats how NOED used to work. Is was just a perk on a 120 second timer. Wasn´t a Hex back then.

Well, some debates certainly feel pointless, when people start an answer with: "you´re a biased XXX main" or "arguing with you is useless, because you think that side XXX is OP/UP" or "i won´t answer to you anymore, because your opinion varies from mine".
When a Forum is all about having controverse discussions. Arguing with people that have a different opinion is a wonderful thing, but some people just seem to take it personal, when someone disagrees.
-
You can´t lower you grade. Before, you could depip to lower your rank. But once you reached a grade, you won´t get lower as that.

That has always been the case, survivor queues are faster during the day but slower during peak hours (and getting ever slower).
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2804985#Comment_2804985
Lol so true, was already getting sick of Blight and rarely saw Nurse as it was...
Yeah, i also didn´t see many nurses around (before they disabled her). Instead i get Bubba, Blight and Plague in rotation.

@dictep said:
Well, you were doing exactly the same thing as this swf
I honestly don´t know whats worse:
- new players facing experienced ones, because the mmr prioritizes short queue over fairness
- or experienced players smurfing to face new players.

You can't say that. It is forbidden.
What should be forbidden about that? Everyone knows that survivor queues are instant during the day.
People just complain when the queue gets so insanely long when they come home from work and want to play.
-
I mean, with Nurse gone. High mmr survivors are finally able to enjoy 50 shades of Blight.

Have you read any of avens posts before this ? That's literally all they post 😂
I don´t know what reputation i have on the forum. But some people call me biased killer main or say that i have a "killers weak" agenda or something like that. Meanwhile i play both sides equally. Some months i play survivor only and some i play more killer. But since i think, that survivors shouldn´t be able to complete 60% of their objective by the time the killer gets his first hook, i get called biased.
Most of the issues survivors complain about, would be solved if killers didn´t feel pressured to camp/tunnel someone early out in order to apply pressure and slow down the gens. 4 out of the 5 most popular killer perks are for gen slowdown. Killers don´t equip them for a easy win or because they enjoy this stale meta. Because lets face it, gen slowdown perks don´t help in chases. They don´t reward the killer for playing bad. They don´t even help with progressing the killers objective, because killers often have to decide between finishing a chase or kicking a gen. Protecting a ruin or go for that gen with 2 survivors on it. Killers just feel forced to equip gen slowdown perks, because otherwise the matches end in 5 minutes.
Usually the whole pressure of the match rests on the shoulders of the killer. When it should be the other way around or at least each side should feel equally pressured. OP had 4 gen slowdown perks and still lost the first gen in less than 60 seconds, despite facing terrible survivors that didn´t know how to waste any of the killers time during the chase.
Devs are already thinking about a way to solve camping, while they scrapped the whole early game collapse idea. Which ironically would have taken pressure off the killers and allowed for a less sweaty killer approach.

Unless I'm missing something Aven never said they were good survivors. Never said they weren't terrible. All they said was they weren't afk. Am I missing something in this?
Yeah, you missed the quote where he said: "You are pretty lucky if you can get decent teammates on a regular basis."

My teammates would probably be in the Basement looting the chest and crouching full map away behind a tree while those two downs happened.
Where did i say that i get decent teammates on a regular basis?
I get teammates that dc, suicide or are afk all the time. But passing on a jungle gym?

The whole Thread is already "us vs them".
And no, I dont think a productive discussion with you is possible. But luckily for you, your opinion is the majority in this forum.
You could at least admit, that those survivors played terrible and are not a representation of how survivors usually play. At least my teammates don´t play like this.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:

If you have watched the video, you would have seen that the Survivors were not afk.
I mean, I get it, you still want to claim that Killer is soooo hard, but this does not work if there is a video linked in OPs post.
You know, i would really like to have a productive discussion with you. How those survivors made rookie mistakes by ignoring the jungle gym.
But then again, it only looks like you want to run a certain agenda here and are not interested in a discussion at all.
Do you really think we need more "us vs them" bs?

@Lycidas said:

What?
I was referring to the video, he got 2 downs when the first gen popped, that's why I was saying that it wasn't bad at all
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2803144#Comment_2803144
Sure, but if you patrol blocked gens, survivors are free to work on the unblocked ones, I was under the assumption that Corrupt was useful to help the killer by giving them less gens to check, and that finding survivors fast is usually the most important thing in a killer match regardless of your perks, right?
Thats the "or something like that?" part of my question. I mean, those were terrible plays by both Bill and Feng. They had a jungle gym and ran both around a tree stump instead? Thats some mistakes survivors with less than 10 hours commit. No experienced survivor would pass on the chance of running the jungle gym.
-
@Lycidas said:
You do realize the game doesn't end when survivors do 1 gen, and that the first one is always the easier to complete, right?
You basically have 2 hooks by the time the first gen pops, that's not ######### bad
2 Hooks by the time the first gen pops? Are your survivors afk or something like that?

They will never learn. Don't worry about it.
Sometimes i wish i could yell at my teammates, that they should stop doing certain gens. Like, when i left a gen at 99% on purpose and then suddenly a wild survivor appears, finishes it and 3 gens us.
-
@fulltonon said:
You are not meant to defend every gen, first three gens are almost always pop no matter how you play.
As long as you are defending "important" generators, it'd be fine.
Imagine what happens when most survivors figure out that making the inner gens first results in a almost guaranteed escape. Since the killer can't defend spread out gens.
-
The issue with the RPD Library was reported back in September (yes, it was a problem even before Boil Over).
So i´m optimistic that we´ll see a solution by late summer.
-
Monstrous Shrine is like: "hold my beer"
-
It's the devs reacting to the current gen speed by giving killers more bandaids instead of addressing the problem directly.

I wish there was a practice mode instead of throwing you into the fire right away. I have had a couple of good shots with his chains surprisingly but most of the time I’m missing left and right. Maybe he’s easier to play on pc than console
Yeah, they should improve the bot mode. So people can try out new killers instead of instantly facing high mmr survivors which will stomp you.

They are they're also mapped to healing so you might drop a pallet when you try to revive someone near a pallet
That's the risk vs reward of healing under a pallet.

Maybe. His chains are so hard lmao
Try placing the mark directly on survivors. It will result easier hitting them.
-
That's not an exploit.
I assume disarming and dropping the pallet is the same button on console? On pc they are different buttons. So no issue.
-
Have been playing him almost exclusively during the event. Had like 1 dc. So maybe you were just unlucky.
-
The amount of hackers has definitely increased. Monday I was matched with a flying hacker. Killer gave up, because of this. Of course, everyone reported after the match. But when it takes longer to report outside the game, then what the game actually lasted. Most people just shrug and move on.
There are also subtle hacks that are hard to spot.
Even Otz didn't notice one, despite having him right under his nose. A teammate who was faster than him, without any perks that would allow this. Only the chat noticed.
So yeah, with the free Epic week I doubt we'll ever get rid of those hackers.

That box is all I have left. I haven't leveled Dwight up since 2018, and I never will. If that is the only treasure I have left, then I will keep it forever.
I would still have my very last Splinter, but I was stupid enough to prestige the character who had it. Didn't realize my mistake until it was far too late.
I miss you, random Glass Splinter from Freddy's Bloodweb.
Nice!
I remember the Glass Splinters. How you could get Splinters of killers you already owned. Good times!
They should bring them back for new players. Or maybe something similar, which would make it easier to choose the next killer before buying. Buuuut i´m getting off topic.

Nope, the BEST change was when they changed the Nemesis Daily from "reach tier 3 infection rate 4 times" to something we can achieve in a single match.
-
They should just remove perk tiers. Even if its "just a temporary solution" they would have 10 years to come up with something else, before they reach the current stage again.
So we´re pretty save.

No camping penalties should apply at all, ever, since Survivors will abuse them.
Source: There were camping penalties. Survivors abused them every time.
Its actually quite funny how every single time the devs came up with a solution to camping, some survivors abused it in a unintended way so the devs didn´t implement it. Its almost like deep down they don´t want a solution.

Unfortunately that issue seems to persist on both sides and it makes balancing the game a pain in the ass. I'd love for certain perks to be made basekit, or alternatively you can see the perk loadout of everyone else in the match so you can adjust yours accordingly (ie. you see a Ruin + NOED and you're solo, so you put on Small Game, while you're a killer and you see Breakout + Boil Over so you can put on Mad Grit and Agitation). I'm not sure on the exact logistics of it + how to prevent last second switching but it would just... feel nice to be able to implement something along those lines.
Also choice restriction but that's a topic for another day.
Some things should be basekit. Others shouldn´t.
The last second switch problem could be solved by survivors having to lock in their loadout before they click on search match. Just like killers can´t switch between different killers, survivors shouldn´t change their loadout.
-
What i find the most annoying are those macro flashlight users. They create a fast clicking sound which is just like someone screeching the chalkboard with his fingernails.

Imagine thinking you have to equip all 4 perks when you can literally just slug the survivor.
Sure, sure. You don´t have to equip all 4 (or 5) of them. But a combination of 2 is recommended against certain SWF teams.
You see, the issue against decent SWF is, that you won´t be able to slug survivors effectivly and even worse, you won´t know that they will move coordinated before the match starts. Equipping those perks takes away precious perk slots which would be best used for gen slowdown right now. So the killer will be able to hook survivors, but might lose gens faster, due to this.
One of the biggest issues i see with DbD is, that whenever a problem arrises, we just get a bandaid in form of a perk. Which doesn´t really solve the core issue.

Many survivors in my Cenobite games prove you wrong time and time again. It is perfectly doable to solve the configuration when the Chainhunt is active even with this bug.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2797740#Comment_2797740
Because if they admit that it is a "strong power" they will get told that they are just crybabies. If they say "boring" then that implies that they "can deal with it" and it is just "no fun". That way they doge the argument that maybe they have to step up their game against certain Killers.
I like his power too. Faced a few Cenobites and I love that you now have another objective to play with. Also you are pretty much free to go to a safe space to solve the configuration even with the chainhunt active. Nearly every map has some area where you can do this no problem.
Good survivors also manage the time quit well, picking up the box, doing generators and solving it at around 80% charge. Spine Chill seems to be a real kicker here to to get caught with the box.
Yeah, that could be it. I remember how Original Freddy was also called boring, when he was the weakest killer in the roster.
Some people don´t seem to like varying gameplay and always want to face the same killer it seems.
-
The MMR does "work" in its intended way. Currently it priotizes shorter queues over "skill". Survivors currently face queues of 10-15 minutes.
So the longer survivors wait, the higher the chance, that they are matched against a killer out of their mmr range.

Well, we have the rank reset before the chapter releases. So you might get up to 2 million bloodpoints on top of what you saved till then.
