You can only get 3 (14%) of the total 21 cosmetic peices by grinding and the other 18 cosmetic peices (86%) is locked away by cash. I don't mind to spend money on BHVR if it's reasonable to but if they could just increase it to where you can get 6 cosmetics for grinding (28%) or make a exponential ramp in vial cost as you buy more peices then that would be perfect. Don't get me wrong, I'm very VERY thankful for what we got and believe me, I'm gonna enjoy this event like I do the other events.

roughly 540 levels. 5.4 devotions.... going only from levels 50-100 as 1 - 49 has to many numbers xD going with 1-100 levels around 6 devotions
So we can unlock them all by 2020
I´d go for that as developer. -

I don't think que times for either side will increase that badly honestly. You have to play both sides to get the vials needed for the cosmetic after all.
Yes, BOTH sides. Meaning there will be at least 4 times more killers. People will max out their survivor vials pretty fast and after that, they´ll focus on the killer vials.

I get wanting to collect all the cosmetics but I get BHVR's point of view from this too being they're giving more. Honestly my main issue is the massive grind just for those 3 cosmetics. I get they're freebies but I don't exactly like the idea of grinding for a week for one cosmetic set. I play DBD maybe 3 sessions a week so if it's like last event I'm going to have to no life this game for 8 hours or something in 1 day.

This is supposed to be a community event, instead it turned into a cashgrab event with a lot of frustrating gameplay and only 1 out of 7 outfits is a joke. 2 wouldn't hurt them, it would still remain a joke.
The way we see it is that you can earn a full outfit of your choice or 3 separate cosmetics in the new collection. This is more than what was offered in the previous events.
So kind of you, we all should just be happy that we are allowed to play your game and buy your dlc's and skins. We do need to have a sense of pride and accomplishment.

In HotS, they tossed out slightly different skin colors as completely new skin. Then they added all the other useless stuff like paintings, portraits, sounds, etc. The chance to actually getting what you want is like winning the lottery.
I played since beta, and got 80+ boxes. Most of the stuff was trash. I think i got 2 new heroes, and 3 epic skins. The rest was just trash. I even spend 15.000 gold to reroll.So you had bad RNG, but doesn't detract from the point. You get at least 1-2 NEW skins from the loot boxes during events with the potential for more without spending a dime. That's for a game that's not even really doing a good job.
Identity V allows you to get 4 free skins every 2 months just by playing and you get their version of lootboxes like candy which can include unlocks if you get the best skin
I got more in DbD in less time. -

Oh wait, no trapper! Yesterday i had a insidious trapper who would simply wait for the survivors to come to the basement. He didn´t hook anyone during the whole match and got a 4k.So the survivors did circles in the basement instead of crawling out?
The basement was even next to the open exit. No one escaped.
I untrapped 2 survivors and unhooked 1 before going down. Made it to the gate crawling. -
Maybe let us unlock the skins with shards. This would be fair.

Exactly. All outfits should have been earnable through the event and afterwards locked down for auric cells until the next event.

The only time survivor queues were that insane for me was during the killer strike^^
Was the release of David King with WGLF. Back then it gave a whooping 200% bloodpoint bonus. BBQ didn´t exist and every killer main switched to survivor.

Maybe but i wonder if we get more dc's during the event from survivors who can't get any juice from plants because they are gone and dc. Not the last event but the previous if no one burnt an offering from howling grounds you got an instant dc. Will we see that again? Some people will not play killer under any circumstance and it is a shame because you don't see both sides maybe we get more that give it a try for once.

Everybody is hyped for a two week event and what we get is a 10 game event to farm a skin and a cashgrab for the other ones.Btw, I have spent ridiculous amounts of money on other games I liked, but in those games it never felt like a cashgrab.
BHVR still has so many problems in their game after such a long time and I see no intentions fixing them. At the moment I am holding back my wallet and look where we are going. Even if I would have no problems buying all the halloween skins if I really neded them (lul), I dont feel like supporting the current trendsThen don´t do it. I haven´t bought a DLC since Freddy. I unlock everything through playtime. The road rage skin for the trapper is the only one i would consider spending money on.
Thats one of the perfect examples.
The part of me that was a trapper main back in the days and loved playing him wants me to buy the skin.
The other part, the rational one, tells me how bad of a killer he actually is and what happened last time I tried vesing a "half decent" SWF as trapper.
He got better with his last buff.
He still needs a buff, but he´s way more enjoyable than he was before his update.Even though faster traps are a good thing. The animation when he finishes the trap and looks up again is so wonky and actually causes a little bit of motion sickness (never experienced that before, now I know what everyone is talking about xD )

No, you need 3 intersections for a full vial.
Progress is saved for every intersection. So you won´t lose a vial that is 1/3 filled, even if you die. -

You see the problem IS that the skins are so good but we are only able to get 1 for free.
But people would even cry if they would let us grind all 7 outfits. Because the lobby queues for killers will be horrendous.
Of course i would love it, if we could unlock more skins.

Everybody is hyped for a two week event and what we get is a 10 game event to farm a skin and a cashgrab for the other ones.Btw, I have spent ridiculous amounts of money on other games I liked, but in those games it never felt like a cashgrab.
BHVR still has so many problems in their game after such a long time and I see no intentions fixing them. At the moment I am holding back my wallet and look where we are going. Even if I would have no problems buying all the halloween skins if I really neded them (lul), I dont feel like supporting the current trendsThen don´t do it. I haven´t bought a DLC since Freddy. I unlock everything through playtime. The road rage skin for the trapper is the only one i would consider spending money on.
Thats one of the perfect examples.
The part of me that was a trapper main back in the days and loved playing him wants me to buy the skin.
The other part, the rational one, tells me how bad of a killer he actually is and what happened last time I tried vesing a "half decent" SWF as trapper.
He got better with his last buff.
He still needs a buff, but he´s way more enjoyable than he was before his update. -

I don't think it is a matter of getting all 7 for free it is more of the grind being over quickly and virtually the event for most people. How many bloodpoints do you need at this point if you have played this game long enough. If they doubled it and made it double the vials of 30 for killer and 30 for survivor with only being able to get 1 survivor outfit and 1 killer maybe it would have been received better.
This grind would be to much. Not everyone can spend tons of hours on this game. Also remember that during most events, the killer queues skyrocket. This event will be even worse, because survivors MUST play killer to get a full set. The event won´t be over as quickly as everyone thinks. Survivors will get their 15 vials in no time, but when they switch to killer, they´ll have extreme long queues.
Mhm lets see, 20-30 games of DBD in two whole weeks, that means roughly 2 games per day. Yeah thats really a huge investment in time. (oh yeah sure queue time lul)
Yes, queue time as killer will be extremely high. Every killer main who stopped playing, will just come back for those skins. Every survivor will want to play killer. I expect nothing less than 45+ minutes for a killer lobby.

If its ten each its like $70 whole dollerinos. Which is fair as these are the best skins i have ever seen in this game but i would love to be able to get them all.
They could add the option to unlock them with shards. But 70$ of shards will be a huge amount of playtime.

Maybe but i wonder if we get more dc's during the event from survivors who can't get any juice from plants because they are gone and dc. Not the last event but the previous if no one burnt an offering from howling grounds you got an instant dc. Will we see that again? Some people will not play killer under any circumstance and it is a shame because you don't see both sides maybe we get more that give it a try for once.
Yeah, people will probably show their ugliest face during the event. Like always.

This is supposed to be a community event, instead it turned into a cashgrab event with a lot of frustrating gameplay and only 1 out of 7 outfits is a joke. 2 wouldn't hurt them, it would still remain a joke.
The way we see it is that you can earn a full outfit of your choice or 3 separate cosmetics in the new collection. This is more than what was offered in the previous events.
So kind of you, we all should just be happy that we are allowed to play your game and buy your dlc's and skins. We do need to have a sense of pride and accomplishment.

19th - 2nd for 15 vials per side (30 if you max both killer and survivors) to get 3 random pieces or a full set with a slight bp bonus if you use an offering.

We get more than the last events.
We can choose a full outfit out of 7.
Do i have to remind you, what we got during the last events? Last Halloween was a pumpkin head for the nurse (that´s it) Scorched BBQ = 1 hammer for Billy and a shirt for Kate.

Yeah it would hurt, because I don't have the kind of money to "waste" on those cosmetics. As a community event there was no need to make almost all of them auric cells only from the beginning!
Well, no one forces you to buy them. Unlock the one you like the most and be happy with the FREE awesome looking skin.

What most people missed in my post was the part about the game not being fun anymore. That is the main reason.
