Happened again with my Twins. Prestiged her yesterday to P2 lvl 46, today she is back at P1 lvl28… And now I lost my bloodpoints, too

I'm glad you got your BP back. I faced this same issue while trying to level up Plague and ended up losing all my progress and everything from the blood web. Plus all the BP I'd spent just vanished too, not to be returned. This was on a PS4. From what I understand, this is an ongoing issue for multiple people, including people on other social media pages.
Not to mention that it is happening all platforms, apparently
-
Same with XBox...

@Mandy said:
Is this still an issue with today's hotfix, as the problem was resolved in 8.4.2?
Still is. Can't hear flasbangs
-
Happened again. This time with my Twins. I leveled up to P1 lvl 10, played couple of games as a killer and the level was back to 1. But I had almost 400K BP's so, it probably redeemed them..?
-
No! It tanked the killer queues in normal 1v4 game. And besides, the second iteration on 2v8 was abysmal
-
Ahh, yes. Let's add more mechanics that incentivize players to ragequit without any penaltiess

3 matches so far I encountered Killers with TOTH builds in 7 days..
Let the brainless followers of Content Creators spread their "real" encounters..
Nerf it, revert it or let it be.. I don't care tbh. Tried it twice and all my totems got cleansed - like always (maybe should've played Killers who are able to protect them - but I didn't want to be that ugly).
I still rather play without Hexes
Yeah, I also tried couple of games with those hex builds… Safe to say, they still got cleansed pretty quickly. Didn't even have a chance to get any Pentimento value
-
As I have began to play more and more killer, I have seen survivors do things that had me go "Seriously?!? What are you doing?! Don't do that!". Like after I've hooked a survivor, I haven't gone away more than probably 5 meters, when someone unhooks them. You can wait for longer before unhooking. Wait at least till you don't hear the terror radius anymore before you go unhook.
As a killer, who actively tries to avoid tunneling, it just baffles me how so many survivors just throw themselves in front of me. They start to run immediately when they hear my terror without knowing where I am. And many times I have been accused of tunneling… Usually by SWF's who wear the same character and skins. Since us Killer players do not see individual hookstates on survivors, accidental and unintentional tunneling does happen from time to time. Are there players who start to tunnel intentionally right in the beginning? Yes, there are, but I can safely say that those players aren't majority.
But the fact is, if you try to play nice and fair as a killer, it usually means you're in a disadvantage from the beginning and there is a 75% chance that you will not get any kills during that game. Especially if you're going against well coordinated team or players who know what they're doing.
-
I suggest you contact their customer support directly. Talking about bans and giving names or gamertags in this forum is prohibited.
-
Same could be said about survivors who keep running top metaperks all the time
-
Yup! EU servers right now. Killer games are almost instant, but with survivor you have to wait about 5 min, even though that role still has 25% BP incentive
-
Are these login offerings bugged or something on XBox? Because I haven't got any of these. Anyone else got theirs?

Played against a killer with thrill of the hunt and face the darkness, and it was legit impossible to cleanse totems because screaming would just remove all the progress from cleansing the totem.
As Iron_Cutglass said earlier cleansing totems with thrill of the hunt makes them take 45 seconds, and face the darkness causes you to scream every 20 seconds it's basically impossible to cleanse the damn things at that point.
Hex totems needs love but making them this annoying is beyond absurd.Calm Spirit?

They honestly shouldn't be playing then. It ruins a game is someone DC's or gives up. It's making playing difficult.
Sadly, these are the kind of people that have been completely burned out of the game and feel miserable for any kind of changes the devs do to this game. And their only way to cope with this, is that they're trying to make everyone else feel as bad as them to justify their actions to themselves and trying to prove themselves "See?! I told you this game is bad and the devs do not know what they're doing and etc. etc…."
If you feel bad and miserable playing this game, then leave and stop spreading the negativity, toxicity and sadness to other players. And if these feelings are being caused by something other stuff in your life, then seek professional help. You are not alone

As someone who never tunnel while playing a killer: This perk is just messing with my hook counting.
As for Taurie - absolutely love this character, love her appearance, love her voice, and I love how her grunts of pain sound.
Any survivor can just pick up this perk - pointless to "target" Taurie.
I agree with that hook state counting as (mostly) non-tunneling killer player
-
I'm guessing the 2v8 got it really wonky. Maybe because new players got into the game alongside with the mode, and now they are playing the regular mode with their more experienced friends (maybe?)
-
Had the same problem yesterday
-
I can say only thing
-
Happened before the update was live
-
This would be a huge shadow nerf for Distortion, completely killing the perk into oblivion. No
-
I've been having 25-75% incentives all day for survivors. European servers
-
You're never too old to play games. Too young, on the other hand, is a different thing. This person is the latter

These were the builds the survivors were running, so no actual hacking needed when the game already gives the survivors all the necessary tools to create matches like this (and the survivors also get the courtesy for not getting shamed constantly for using such builds unlike the killers' builds counterpart).
4-man SWF, all of them have Deja Vu and BNP. No wonder those gens flew so fast
-
This would cause lobby dodging on Killers side. My solution for this, is that you can't switch anything in the pre-game lobby. You have to do that in the off-game lobby before you find a match. This will end last second switches.

Lately its been odd like if we at 4 to 5 gens and its only 2 of us and am caught idk why the person dont let me go and try for hatch.
I mean I appreciate it but am not going to be mad if its 2 of us only and I got caught. I only get mad if all of us is alive and your not doing nothing and letting everyone else die while you seek hatch.
You'd be surprised how many people get angry for not going for unhook in these situations.

To help tunneling even more
Tunnelers will keep on tunneling with or without this info. It helps those who (like myself) wants to avoid tunneling. Even unintentional

The source is my own experience
So that's a "No". Gotcha

Got any source on that? Other than your own subjective opinion

Only if they nerf Pain Resonance

Has happened to me multiple times

Just use Off The Record and Decisive…

I'm sure MMR doesn't affect event queues. Just puts all vs anyone.
Mainly, it doesn't. But the more players are playing the event queue, less players play the main mode. Less players in the main mode, the more MMR has to fill the lobbies with players varying MMR's

God this game is so stale with nothing but aura reading and pain rez. Every game is the same rarely does anyone use anything different.

Pro tip: The matchmaking completely falls apart when there is any kind of big disparity between the amount of killers and survivors queueing. But the real pro tip?
The time of day you play determines how hard your games are as well as how much BM are in them. At least for killer, here's how it goes:
If you play in the morning, around 7 AM to 12 PM, the games are pretty solid. Decent survivors, but not overly difficult, and overall matches are pretty balanced. From 12 PM to about 6 PM, the games are extremely easy. For some reason, super casuals that are having a day off play during these times. Between 6 PM to 12 AM, the games are slightly harder, but overall fine. Probably the most "balanced" time to play.
But if you play after 12 AM, aka at midnight… The games are hell. Absolute hell. BM. The worst post game chats you've ever seen. People showing up to your house after, trying to break in because they hacked the server to find your IP and tracked you down in real life after you killed them. Threats on your family, with them sending real pictures and addresses, as well as purchased travel tickets to find you.
Unless you're ready to experience hell on earth, don't ever play after 12 AM if you value your sanity, safety, and autonomy. Because they will find you. They will catch you. And they will destroy you. Both in game, and out of game.
For me, the games usually start to go down the drain around 6-7pm. I usually stop playing after 2-3 games around that time because I get queued with people that are waaaayy over my level. Especially on weekdays.

A killer is holding W and pathing incredibly poorly if they're hitting bloodlust 2 and 3. Bloodlust 2 and 3 is a conscious decision for a good killer player where they want to force a hit on an otherwise safe tile. Good killers are only using it for zoning. If someone is hitting 2 and 3 consistently, there is something very wrong with their gameplay.
"If some one is hitting 2 and 3 consistently, there is something very wrong with their gameplay" In some cases, that is somewhat true. BUT, the problem is, 99% of the players will not have enough time to learn all the small nuances of the chase mechanics and hundreds of perks, because of multiple reasons (usually work, school, family etc…) So, therefor BL is good for those who want to play this game casually.
If they took BL away, that would impact negatively most of the playerbase who play Killer. And taking it away, may also impact player count negatively
-
I agree that Map Offerings should go. But the problem lies within DbD's map pool rotation, also, because the system doesn't count the variations of certain realms. That is why you would get Azarov's or Badham multiple times in a row. You just get different variations of them.
-
It's usually those who play as survivors mostly. Or new players.
I've been playing this game for four years now, and what I've observed on my own playing, is that when I play as a survivor, I tend to get the feeling most of the times that this game is Killer sided. But when I play Killer, I tend to get the feeling this game is Survivor sided. Yes, I know and am aware that I'm not the top player or perform on Otz or Hens levels of play, so no need for those "LuLz ShKiLl IsHuuSh!" comments
-
The thumbs Up feature should be that when someone gives you thumbs up, you get notification. Like "Someone gave you Thumbs Up! Keep up the good work" And every time you get one, you receive something like 50-100 BP's.
Change it to somekind of endorsement system. Maybe it would incentivize people to play nicer a little bit
-
Hexes are always "high risk, high reward" type of perks. Pentimento is on the top of the list of that. You either need huge amount of luck and RNG, or full hex build to make it work
-
DbD is (at least for me) the only game where all of the annual events have been enjoyable. Especially I love Halloween and Christmas events.
But then again, I have been playing since 2020 so I don't have experience from the events before that.

Yes, and yes

Trying to get in game, but cant because keep getting "Session Expired" and "No Network Connection" notifications
My internet is fine and I am able to play other online games, and use internet on my computer

Can't you play something else for a while? Why do you always have to play the same boring killer? I am sick of hearing weskers tr or hearing nurses shrieking the moment the match starts.
Sounds more like MMR problem

nobody is removing your right to quit a match.
However, we reserve the right to allow you time to cool off before ruining another match. We have no plans at all to remove the DC penalty.
Thank you!

I've been wondering how would a perk related MMR work. Like, if survivors have mostly the most used perks, then they go against a killer with metaperks that are mostly used… This is just a rough idea I have been thinking
