Fantastic thanks for that. That's the first I've read of that. Looking forward to see what they do with it.

Larger, Brighter auras that don't partially disappear when there isn't an obstacle in your line of sight like the OLD system. The only thing this new system has going for it is higher character outline definition . Voted to revert the old system.
-
Toxic OoO 4 man swf teabagging megfest? no problem! /get_off_my_lawn.exe
-
One of the things that makes this so bad is that auras partially disappear if there isn't an obstacle in your way as they act like an aura brightness filter making them even harder to see if you have clear line of sight without anything in your path.
It's been 2 days since this misery was unleashed upon the community and no confirmation as to weather this is an intended shadow nerf or a bug that needs it's numbers tweaked for aura size, brightness and consistency to be increased
-
I'm NOT colour blind and I'm having real trouble seeing auras on both killer and survivor. It's bad.
I mean it's really bad. ######### is this crap lol ^
-
Pre aura nerf: Spine Chill, Alert, Kindred, Urban Evasion, Blendette + /Full_immersion.Exe = Profit
Post aura nerf: probably just DC. lol
-
Hell I'm not colour blind and I have trouble spotting auras now. I can only imagine how hard it is for people who are actually colour blind.
-
I'm really REALLY hoping somebody in programming missed something in the numbers for aura brightness and size. Hot fix any time soon? lol
-
New auras are a horrible quality of life change and a massive nerf to survivors and an even massive nerf to killers.
-
Killers are pretty much identical but for their special abilities and movement speed. So a player who has mastered one killer will be far more than average with all other killers. This will allow killers to endlessly troll low ranks by simply switching killers.
This is such a bad idea and will most certainly see the death of innumerable new player revenue streams for behaviour. Meaning less new content, less retained existing players and longer lobby times in our soon to be empty lobby simulator.
So yay for that.
-
All they'd need to do is re-skin the Demo?

So much this. Was playing a game where I closed the hatch and downed the person during EGC. They DCed and boasted about it in end game chat, saying that they denied me the kill. Survivors make me laugh.
I think for a hook you get 2500 points and for a DC it's only 650 or something. So the killer gets less than the final hook reward and the survivor gets nothing because they dc'd so everybody loses.

So wanting to win is a problem...? Do you people read your posts when you say this? By this logic we should expect survivors to not do gens or escape.
I've often had survivors die to egc because they feel I 'earned' it for being such a good sport?
Doesn't make any sense to me either.
-
The only friendly Killers I run in to are when I'm playing Killer lol. Everyone else since 2016 has just been a tryhard crutch-sack sweatlord.
My yellow Robbie the Rabbit is super friendly <3
-
Just more high rank hand-holding. They want shorter wait times so they /cried till the queue was opened up to brown ranks. Nothing new there at all.
-
They need one of these on top of the main website home page:

Can't believe that you are that much innocent that believes that survivors only do that for the good sake of the killer. You made me laugh at least.
Survivors do it to troll Killers, they likely do so without knowing that they are giving the Killer Iridescent Shards.
-
As long as the meg dies I'm good.
-
Reading this made my eyes bleed.
-
The longer the match runs the more experience points everyone earns including the killer. Experience points earns Iridescent Shards which buys non premium cosmetics / killers / survivors / perks. So by staying in the match longer Survivors are only helping the killer get all of these.

It was to make a point, that point being even a tiny hanger of all things can be used to stop the "unstoppable force". Which is just laughable.
I refer you to an 8 minute compilation of Mikey getting his ass handed to him:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ees3UyvboxE&t=14s
So you were saying?
Cool. I started watching the first Halloween and it bored the arse out of me. I couldnt bring myself to sit through the whole thing lol. Looks like it gets better?
-
Slinger / PH = Dodge
Spirit = Walk
Counter play sorted.
-
Not looking forward to red rank killers being let into brown ranks on all their alts. Going to be a bad time for survivors. Think I'll just stay killer for a bit lol.
-
They need to remove Mori's from the game in place of what PH has. His Final Judgement is far more satisfying than the Mori he brings (and imo far more grimly violent) I far prefer having earned a Mori on what would have been the 3rd hook with a Survivor primed for it having run over my barbed wire than getting it handed to me free on an offering.
-
That's just appallingly terrible sportsmanship. I'm sorry this happened to you. I assure you not all of us killers are like that.
-
As it has been scientifically proven that conscious thought affects physical reality on a sub atomic level if you stretch the science behind that just a little we might just actually all collectively pull each others realities into being one thread at a time simply by observing. (which both intrigues, excites and scares the crap out of me in equal measure).
I don't know why this is or what it means that this is so if anyone knows please feel free to let me know.
Cheers.

i don´t know dude... not being able to play with your friends is... weird. There aren´t only toxic genrushing SWF. There´s also people that play for fun, the people that are new to the game and just want to play with their friends... It definetly needs changing as it´s really hard to win when it´s an organized good player SWF, but straight out removing it from the game? i don´t think so.
The only difference between SWF and KYF is:
KYF - Survivors get to choose their Killer
SWF - Survivors don't get to choose their Killer
With both options Survivor friends can still play together. So removing SWF harms no one other than the toxic trolltards who want to pick on random low rank Killers. And I think everyone can agree that a reduction in toxicity is a good thing for dbd.
-
KYF should be the only iteration of SWF there is otherwise you get cancer like this.
Remove SWF, keep KYF and the only people crying are the people who do this toxic crap.
-
well yeah red ranks /cried to the devs so hard about wait times till they finally opened matchmaking up to all ranks letting red ranks in with brown ranks for shorter wait times and easier matches to the detriment of the health, well being and future of their own game. Top tier community hand-holding for t3h win XD

honestly i agree with this as over the past couple of days ive had so many teamates and enemys dc when im versing them, this ruins it for the killer and also kills the whole entire game for the other 3 survivors that may of had a chance. also the worst part imo about the dcs is the part where survivors dc after literally getting downed have the time.
I've had no one disconnect my matches because I play fairly.
That means no tunneling, no face camping, no toxic behaviour, giving everyone a fair chance. You know just general good sportsmanship and being a good muthafuka. Something that neurologically defective psychopaths fail to grasp.
The end result is everyone has a good time and post match chat is almost exclusively a feel good experience.

If its better to let the killer hit you instead of wasting pallets, its probably a bad design
I discovered a new (well for me it was new) tactic against legion regarding pallets. Drop the pallet and if you don't stun them and their either in FF or begin it just after the pallet drop just wait for them to vault then dot he same vault immediately after (swapping places), they'll often try and hit you, miss and hit the pallet lol. If they hit you then you've got a free speed burst without scratch marks to get out of their line of sight and escape.
-
Ah the gen rush. When all 5 gens pop in 1 minute of match starting and all Survivors leave without any chase, hook or de-hook and everyone de-pips with minimal BP and XP reward and everybody loses.
-
This one took me ages:
And this one:

I always thought Hostel was pretty sick. Cant bring myself to watch it again lol.

Some people have to stroke their egos and fragile self esteems someway. If anyone actually says that to you in a videogame then they're not even worth acknowledging.
That's a nice way of putting it. I'd have painted a far worse articulation. lol
-
It's funny because the longer the match runs the more experience points you earn for non Auric Cell based cosmetics and character purchase.
-
Spine Chill was always 'meta'. It's just a good perk. Pretty much a must have in all situations.
-
lawl. Slinger would become the new Billy. It would be both hilarious and all the Billy cry babies would have somewhere to go.
-
Old Freddy was extremely powerful if played right to the point of being OP
New Freddy is extremely powerful if played right to the point of being OP
People will never be happy.
-
Just a simple change of game mechanics is required.
- 4 Killers per match all with generators attached to their backs and all current killer perks loaded
- 1 Survivor per match with zero perks available as they are all removed from the game
- Once all 4 gens are done, 4 keys spawn tied to each of the 4 killers nut sacks (only one of which is real)
- All exit gates and switches are removed in place of 4 hatches attached to the killers chests. (only one is real and all are indistinguishable from each other)
- Remove all current maps in place of far smaller maps each the size of a 1 level killer shack
Bam. Game is now fairly balanced.

300 hours is often the time when you get good enough to understand just how bad you are at the game)))
Just play more, watch someone more experienced and you might improve.
Really? I think I reached that point at 2000 hours
lol
-
Just had a match where I brought a red Mori *because that's the only Mori I had left* to kill an obvious toxic Nea troll.
I hooked everyone else the max amount of safe times then let everyone else go as a reward for not being a toxic douche.
BAM! Mind blown.
-
Johnny the Homicidal Maniac would be amazing lol. This guy here:
-
I'm pretty sure Myres goes through every obsessions mail before he enters the match.
Maybe not Bubba because of literacy.
But anyways, rather than trying to organize solo players to get onto some group chat coms program (herding blind insane cats would be far easier) swf groups are able to do this far more easily. It's basically using external programs not intended for the game in the slighest let alone balanced or built into the game to give which gives them a slew of unfair advantages. It's basically cheating without being bannable because it cant be tracked or proven.
-
I used to main Survivor. It was too stressful because /hard mode.
Now I main Killer for a care free easy life.
I don't get this thread.
-
Nobody touches Freddy. He was a crap killer, some of us adapted and got good with him, then the re-work happened now he's a good killer, we adapted again having to un-train all the agonizing pain and suffering we had learned for the first iteration. No, poor freddy has been there, doesn't need to go there again. lol
-
Slingers fun if you have good aim.
Stealth builds just end up shooting yourself in the foot because you move too slowly for it to matter. I have almost as much on PH, (though I'm leaning more towards Slinger) PH does stealth SO much better with full walking speed undetectable status build as long as your walking on your trail.
This match just gone 5 minutes ago I sniped someone out a window on a 2 story building before they de-hooked their ally then climbed down to meet them with the butt of my gun. so much fun lol
-
I am still amazed whenever a Survivor goes down to FF. I'm like . . . "how" ?
FF is absolutely no threat what so ever for anyone with even the remotest idea of how to mend out of sight of the killer.
-
Could we have this as a cosmetic:
Other than that I'm happy.
