  • What if you want to try and de-hook yourself. I mean there are perks and offerings to increase luck. It's a legitimate strat to de-hook yourself and you want to punish people for doing that, playing the game? lol

  • He still will be able to hit grouped survivors like Bubba though with his ranged attack?

Wait I just went and actually looked at the blood web, is this what you mean op

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/XSLHYBOUV9BN/20200528-111931.jpg

The blood web has 3 "starting points" you can just select dwight without doing kates, same at the top with huntress

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/SOJZXUMSXDE7/20200528-112000.jpg

Wait your right. Dweights lore unlock is the starting point. you have to go through Dweight to get to Kate. thread answered lol

  • Kate isnt a premium survivor. you can buy her with shards

  • Silent Hilll and Dead by Daylight crossover, oh my god . . . Pyramid Head - oh my god - oh my f*@k1n god.

I could not be happier! omg I am SO STOKED! best chapter choice since Freddy. Thank you so much behaviour! XD XD XD XD XD

  • You can "buy" Slinger with Bloodpoints - currency earned in game so he is not pay 2 win.

He is also harder than / not as strong a killer as the Huntress so there's that.

Pay 2 win killers are the killers stuck behind a pay wall with OP core abilities / offerings such as Myres / Freddy.

No survivor weather they are stuck behind a pay wall or not are ever pay 2 win because all Survivors are the same and you can always get their perks via the shrine of secrets

  • You start punishing people for playing a game and pretty soon you'll find that people just aren't going to play it any more because games are supposed to be fun, and as punishment isn't fun last time I checked?

Sometimes I like to gamble with getting myself off the hook, especially if all other survivors are self caring / rubbing gens in the farthest corner of the match why bother waiting round till your inevitable death. Actually trying to do something about it yourself even with such slim odds of what 3 percent chance of escape is better than the nothing you'd have with those gen rubbers.

No, please don't punish for playing the game.

Survivor: Probably t-bagging at an open exit gate, I can't believe those cowards don't see the irony in it.

Killer: Hooking someone then stand there smacking them until they're dead.

I like these survivors and I have two counters to them on Deathslinger

If they're wounded and stupid enough to butt dance at the exit gate. Or for the healthy survivors who think they're safe to butt dance at the exit gate on those matches I've decided to load noed.

In those two scenarios, much to their dismay their butt dancing days are over, soon to be replaced by hook dancing.

  • Carrying a Survivor to the hatch, dropping them just out of reach, closing said hatch, picking them back up and hooking them while doing a victory lap around the hook in feral frenzy.

  • My game was about to crash and rather than receiving a ban I notify the killer to my location then /suicide on the hook. They get a hook, I get to re-load dbd and find another match, everyones happy?

  • On Freddy:

Perks: Discordance, Nurses Calling, Whispers and Save the best for last

Addon's: Paint Brush with either Swing Chains / Paint Thinner / Rope

    <3

  • People just need to understand how to counter Freddy, and rather than just saying that and leaving it up to the imagination like everyone else seems to do round here, here's how!

For Stealth anti-Freddy strat you need to understand two things.

Firstly listen for the blowing wind sound. If your near a gen and its not spewing blood it means your safe as Freddy is teleporting to another gen, so continue about your business.

If you see blood spewing from a gen it either means hes about to do one of the following

    • Teleport to that gen
    • He could just be trying to spook people off a gen with no intention of teleporting and may be waiting near by to see if anyone runs off
    • Or he has class photo slotted meaning every gen spews blood with no husk before he teleports so you may or may not be safe.

In any circumstance its best to sneak away from the gen slowly and hide near by if blood is spewing as it will take a couple of seconds for him to get his bearings in his new husk. If he doesn't appear just return to whatever it was you where doing near that gen.

Secondly don't get confused when heart beat changes to lullaby when going into dream state. Survivors are used to the heart beat, best to get used to knowing lullaby distancing with Freddy by playing against him.

Also the combination of Kindred, Spine Chill and Alert will make the above so much easier.

  • Heres my fav Freddy build:

    image.png

Or I'll swap out chains for paint thinner in a pinch and paint brush for rope.

This isnt a build I've picked up from anyone, I'm not really into following meta trends but it works for me. Almost always guarantees a 3 if not 4k XD

Freddy is easy too learn hard too master, and who cares if he's easy and strong? Let people have a killer that's a good segway into the more high skillcap killers. Stop trying too nerf killers that don't need it because you can't figure out how too counter him. Tired of all these threads asking for nerfs that make literally no sense.

To me Freddy just feels so much more natural to play than any other killer. I prefer pallet Freddy than Blood Snare Freddy but do extremely well on both. It doesn't feel like I've mastered anything. I dunno the label says "hard" but he feels easy. Hell of a lot easier than the stress fest you get with Nurse.

  • Discordance + Nurses Calling + Whispers + Save the best for last + Freddy = <3

Just my personal preference. then again those perks on any killer = win.

Maybe it's just a case of git divided by gud = win (carry the qq)

  • Phew that was close. I had another video memory crash but thankfully I was on Survivor so i had enough time to jump in and out of a locker to alert the killer to my presence so he could hook me for suicide escape before the game crashed out and I was up for another 24 hour ban lmao.

    I need a new rig.

  • @rottmeister said:

I've recently ran it for the tome challenge and I'd say it can be pretty decent, definitely as a solo survivor because you don't know what pallets your team has wasted.

The only drawback that makes me not want to use it so often is that fake pallets by Freddy/Doctor also light up as "real" with this perk.

That's a bit off, if your taking a perk like this it should show the difference between real and fake pallets. Same with aura reading perks like Alert that are completely disarmed against undetectable killers like Wraith in stealth mode. Perks shouldn't be rendered completely useless just because of the killer your up against or vice versa.

  • Well its been 2 weeks of pretty much just playing nurse whenever I'm on and I'm kiiiindof getting the hang of it. Got my first 3k vs some pretty high ranked players and my first 4k as well had I not let the last survivor go in celebration.

Once I got the hang of it she started to get more and more fun. So rewarding getting those blink hits and even grabs! I accidentally grabbed someone while they where attempting to de-hook a survivor while blinking through a wall blindly hoping I had my distancing right. I dont know who was more shocked me or the rescuer lmao.

  • You'd stand like that too if you had steel rivets shod through your legs in order to keep you collapsing from shattered bone?

  • My rig's not the best so dbd tends to crash every other match if I dont restart and before long I've got an hour or so ban on my hands for "disconnecting".

Frustrating. Makes me not want to play. So I only check in from time to time till it happens again.

Not a great plan for new (or old) player retention for the health of behaviours revenue stream to allow for new content and the well being and future of our game.

The fact that you say her range addons are bad shows that you don’t know Nurse. Range HUGELY helps her in the chase and with her map pressure.

I'm trying not to use any addons so I dont get used to something that's not the baseline for nurse. If I can do ok without then I'll see how I can do with addons.

  • BBQ is a bit crutchey and cheesy. But the blood point bonus is hard to pass up. Seems a bit odd to have such an awesome perk with a bp award attached.

I much prefer Discordance, Surveillance and Nurses Calling (in that order) I'll usually have 2 out of 3 of those paired. No one ever complains about them post match.

  • Both are ultra situational. I never use them because of this and I have Slinger at P3 with a couple of mil bp sunk in and I avoid choosing them from the blood web wherever possible. There are purple, green, yellow and even grey add on's that have better use.

It shouldn't really be like that as they are supposed to be powerful useful ability's.

  • Only if we can have Negan as the killer XD

  • I can sense new bee survivors a mile off. If I think I'm up against one I'll let them go in favor of using every dirty trick in the book against the rest.

Got to look after our new player base. More new players retained = more revenue stream for behaviour to develop new content for us = more players in the queue = more matches for us

  • Well I got my Slinger from P1 to P3 50+

    Also Freddy from P2 to P3 50+
