Remember kids, those statistics are only meaningful when they fit my narrative.

why not just play Billy or Huntress ?
Because Billy is too basic and Huntress too hard to learn.

Because it's a killer bug
Haha very original and popular opinion, upvoted!
-
I added him to my rotation, I wont be playing him every match but he is still quite fun.
He is not even close to being my main though, that will probably be demo forever.
-
I wish they could kind of revert him back, keep his gen teleport and snares if you want, just get rid of the microsleep and make it so you can put survivors to sleep manually (like before) with some added buffs.
-
Im not sure, i brew myself some hot coffee in the mornings but I usually find it too hot so I put some ice cubes on it, does it count as hot coffee?
-
Some weeks ago I had a match where I was left to die by a 3 man SWF, then one of them messages me and tells me "thats what you get for unhooking me in front of the killer", like, dude, it was a ghostface and I didnt notice he was behind me all the time.
SWF is annoying even when you are playing (solo) survivor.

Yes it is, but have you ever been on the end of a hardcore tunnelling killer? I spend at LEAST 10 times as long in a lobby screen, just to be harassed by the killer out of the game, even with Decisive Strike. Killers DON'T CARE if they truly want to tunnel you out of the game, and it makes me question ever buying into this game.
I don't want to sit in Lobby Simulator for 20 minutes, only to be deleted within 2. Especially when I never provoke a killer.
Maybe come up with a better idea that this ideology doesn't have to exist, rather than promoting a style of play that is only good for 1/5 players within every match.
There is no way that someone can convince me that tunnelling is healthy for the game. I don't care about killers, including myself, getting a 4k for a majority of matches. The game is designed around a 2-2 system ffs. Maybe killers just need to shift their focus from securing kills to protecting generators.

Potato, potahto.
More like potato and chocolate, a god loop is hard to deal with but still manageable, even with the one on ironworks you will catch up to survivors, with infinites you had literally no chance to catch up to te survivors.

Obsessed. Get over it already, you are not entitled to DC without a punishment.

Neither survivors nor killers have taken the time to learn how to play against and as him

You're a survivor main. You think this is ok. It's not. End of story.
Maybe try explaining him why he is wrong instead of just calling him a survivor main.

Coming from the stereotype "lul I got nothing to add but uh..no" response..
There isnt really nothing to add, these threads by themselves are hot garbage with no other purpose than to appeal to the main users of the forums, killer mains.
Your thread by itself doesnt really add anything, its just your typical "WAAAAH WAAAH DEVS HATE US AND TAKE AWAY THE FUN FROM US", you said absolutely nothing regarding maps besides "they wont fix anything" and "lmao redpill xd"
-
Oh, how original, another "killers are oppressed" thread.
-
I am having the exact opposite problem, despite being a rank 1 killer I am getting matched against purple ranks and even brown ranks, its kind of annoying because I feel like I outplayed them but then I get to the tally screen to see they are all lower ranks than me and then I just feel I curbstomped them because of their lower skill level.
-
Remember, killers are always the victim, killers must always play victim if they want the game to change, constructive feedback wont help anyone.
Survivors are bad. This game is bad. The devs dont do anything because they hate us, killers, and cater towards survivors because they buy cosmetics, while us, poor killer mains, must endure the pain of playing this game.
-
Remember when everyone was excited for dedicated servers? Yeah, good times.

Can I ask why Detectives Hunch instead of Small game?
I just ask because yes DH shows aura's but after a gen is done. Small Game yes does not show the aura but I mean when it goes off you know in the very least you are like a arms length from a trap or totem, plus the CD on SG is so fast it can be used fast.
I mean yes both work but SG just seems quicker. I can see how DH is good thought because you have to do gens anyway might as well do a gen then look around for a Totem. =)
Small game is more effective to find totems but DH is more reliable and gives you some extra information (chests, hooks), small game lets you locate only one totem at a time and DH from 1-3, depending on which map and perk tier you are playing with.
-
To find totems, use detectives hunch.
If you want a real incentive to cleanse totems I would highly recommend running Inner Strenght
-
Absolutely not, are we forgetting darkness amongst us was a thing? I mean, its personally one of my favorite chapter, but it was a buggy mess and introduced legion, the most broken killer in the game, Fat jesus AKA Jeff also had meh perks and many consider ormond to be way too big when playing killer, the only redeemable thing about this chapter is its lore.
-
He is difficult to play, definetely not for everyone, but I wouldnt call him bad.
-
The psychological effect of these survivor bully psychopaths
Dude, are you okay? You definetely need a break from this game if you are reacting like this to your gameplay experience.

I didnt even finish this rift, although i will probably finish the next one.

UPDATE:
So they got a final response back from support, and they confirmed: IT WAS FOR THE MEME GAMES.
In one match they only found one survivor in their meme game so they killed them, but left everyone else alone because they never came in their territory. Since he "Did not participate with the other survivors" he was banned for "Griefing and Exploiting Game mechanics".
Basically if survivors feel "Alienated or targeted" like, that's a terrifyingly broad descriptor.....but anyways......
He currently has been so disappointed in that decision that now he just doesn't want to play anymore, can't say I really blame him.
Anyways so yeah guys, unfortunately it's official, meme games as killer are indeed bannable. This revelation has me disheartened as well, I've never been banned but just knowing that's a risk for something so asinine....I'm questioning my interest in the game going forward now as well.
Thats bullshit, i have had people specifically target me because I ran them around for more than 1 gen and they dont get banned for "griefing"
This is honestly pathetic, have you tried getting into contact with a dev to tell them about this situation? Not the support team.

As far as I know the survivor and killer in DLC's dont have to be connected in any way. Think of Ace and Hag or Plague and Jane
Its very open ended in that regard, but that is what I love about it personally. You never really know what you are gonna get in the end.
Cosmetics sometimes have descriptions that give a little more backstory on the characters in a subtle way. They could make some amazing stuff for these characters in the future, but we will have to wait and see where they are going to take them.
PS: As an aquatic/ocean lover I would have loved an aquarium map.
Plague and Jane are connected in the sense that both were celebrities of their time, Adiris as a famous priestess that cured the plague and Jane as a tv celebrity. Just an observation.

Have you seen how safe them loops in Fractured Cowshed are?
It's not that the structure itself is strong (it's not weak either, but not strong), it's that each "unsafe" tile is incredibly safe, with little to no potential for mindgames, and each pallet often chains into the next one incredibly well and there's no shortage of them.
Cow tree is often smack-dab in the middle of the map, too.
Also, Fractured Cowshed had the second highest survival rate the last time they showed kill/survival rates by maps:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/857/V6Z2OHQT5EQA.png
(You wouldn't think Rotten Fields would be the safest map with how empty it is, but apparently that corn blindness is OP yo)
Now, of course these stats don't tell the whole story, but it fits with often what happens on Cowshed. Survivors can just run to pallet to pallet, pretty much just holding W the entire time, even dropping the pallets a little bit earlier than needed, and they will still be fine.
Huh. I thought those statistics werent reliable.

Nerf freddy and doctor because they are unfun to play against :,-(

I'm surprised so many people care about what happened in the beginning when it can be inferred from the clip... whatever, I'll upload the match later after work just for you.
Forewarning though, I gave up in anger and frustration after this point and simply tunneled the hooked individual and the remaining survivors pulled off a grand rescue to the 2nd survivor I planned on camping.
lmao the absolute state of this dude, camping because you cant stand 3 gens being done too early and then wondering why your games are so crappy.
-
Keep the cooldown if you want to, just fix all the goddamn bugs.
-
Toolboxes are now focused more on sabo than gens.
-
How much time did you play in order for this bug to happen?
-
I mean, if you are asking nerfs for mechanics of the game YOU dont like, dont expect to be taken seriously.

Nobody says that bloody thing that killers should win with 5 gens, stop saying ######### like that. We are aware that winning with 5 gens should only happen when we are either lucky as ######### or when we are matched with dorks. No, we don't want that.
It's stuff like this that's not normal, or when they do a gen in 27 seconds cough cough.
They did a gen in 27 seconds and they all still died, against the so called worst killer in the game.
Why do generators going by "fast" affect you so much? Its not like the game is lost just because a single generator got done.
-
I looped a ghostface for 4 gens and he got really, really mad, he kept hitting me on hook and teabagging, my teammates didnt rescue me because they were more interested in finishing the last gen and opening the exit gates, that they forgot I was entering second hook stage.
-
Again, what was mr. killer main doing in the 85 seconds before those gens popped? Patrolling the gens? Chasing someone? Just playing dumb? The clip isnt showing much.

Did he ever say that? Nice strawman.
People like you who make braindead arguments like "oh, the killer has so much pressure even though 3 gens popped."
If it's a swf, one person goes for save, and 2 are on gens.
Why do we, instead of acknowledging the problems with gen speed, defend bad game design?
3/5 = 60%
1/5 = 20%
Basic math for you my dude.

Although I detested the Balanced Landing nerf, many survivors also agreed and they were on board with this.
The DS change was also something many survivors agreed to, and NOW apparently, DS is worse than before and it has killer mains begging for the old DS. There IS counterplay to the new DS, it's don't tunnel, know who you hooked, be an aware killer, and slug. Easy.
Doctor got buffed, but the Queen for Nerfed to the Ground. He's still an M1 killer, barely loopable, but still loopable. Why play with a buffed doctor IF Nurse was still around. They had to give something to the killer playerbase. Same with Freddy, still a loopable killer, and still has to chase.
My theory for the buffing of killers was because the Queen got Dethroned, she got over nerfed and they probably didn't want constant Billy and Spirit matches.
Well then, tehy do listen to the killers of the community, they buffed freddy and nerfed DS, why insist survivors are the only ones being listened to?

No, I don't say things like that.
But from a monetary, company, profitable suggestions, you have to admit, 4 survivors are better to cater than 1 killer.
The "community" is revolved solely on the backs of survivors, it's where the cosmetics, catering, hand holding takes place the most.
Whereas for killer, you're on your feet, at the edge of your seat since the first minute you start playing the game.
Yeah, thats exactly the "killers are opressed" argument
"survivors get all the fun because they are cash cows, while us, oh poor killer mains, must endure the pain of playing this game"
I dont know about you, but, was the doctor buff a way to cater to survivors? was the balanced landing nerf also made with the purpose of milking those survivors into buying more cosmetics? What about adding counterplay to DS? Surely another way of making those filthy survivor mains spend more in your game.
-
He is in a weird spot for me, I personally think he is in a good spot, he is fun to play and maybe viable against good players if you can play him perfectly without missing any shot.
I am not really good at FPS so I sometimes struggle when playing him, quickshotting has become my go to strategy because aiming down sights really confuses me.

Are we gonna start the "killers are oppressed" argument again? seriously?

Don't worry, this bug effects survivors in a negative way, it will be fixed in no longer than a week or two.

My guess, its an assymetrical game, you need to keep in mind the opinion of the whole community when making a change and that is really hard, you cant mess to much with the meta or else many people will get mad, we already saw what happened with the exhaustion and ruin nerfs.

Ash and Ace, my mains!

Why make this post when you know people are gonna write "The match isn't over until all of the Survivors either die or escape"?
I'm sorry but by now everybody knows all the circlejerks of this forum, I see little reason to keep it up since we know the stance of the only people that matter, the Devs.
There is no solution, if you want you can just go AFK or stop trying and wait for the next match.
It is true though, you people dont seem to be satisfied unless all 5 gens remain and you 4k effortlessly.
This guy just shows some footage of when the gens pop, what was he doing in those 80ish seconds before the gens popped? Was he patrolling the gens? Was he playing dumb?
Nah, all that matters is some anecdotal evidence.
-
Huntress if you want to snowball quick and end chases fast
Deathslinger if you want consistent gameplay, a bit of stall and a good time.
-
- Demogorgon all the way. Such a fun killer to play as and against.
- Legion, has one of the best stalls in the game. I personally enjoy playing as them despite the fact they sometimes feel underwhelming.
- Ghost face, can end chases so damn fast.
-
I used red moss once and never again, its so bad, whats the point of increasing his undetectable status effect when he just goes STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP alerting all survivors nearby? The fact that it increases the recovery of the gauge is also soooo detrimental.
Leprose lichen is better by a margin, but the fact that you can only see injured survivors makes its effect have a miniscule impact on the game
His rares and very rares are, for the most part, hot garbage, they should focus on giving interesting effects to his shred instead of applying some useless status effects.
As you said, its ironic how his best add-ons are his common and uncommon ones, and im not sure if thats bad or good. Rat liver is so damn good, for me, its simply impossible not to play without it. Makes his shred have a bigger impact in chases, should honestly be base kit
