Yun Jin is best girl. She would totally teabag all over Nurse and Spirit in the octagon.
-
Yes. It is worth it. *
*If your team knows how to do gens.
-
Spirit is not the S tier killer the community living in pre-2021 remembers. I never thought she was to begin with, but you know, at least she was picked back then.

and camping is not okay any half decent player thinks so only the people that actively do it call it a valid strategy
It scared you enough to not attempt the save. I would call that a valid strategy. What else would you call it? Cheats? Lol.
It does not matter if I am not half decent, because I could still crumble your lobbies with one little cheat.
Disclaimer: I am not really cheating, mods. It is a joke. Face camping is not against the code of conduct.

The killer winning by default in this spot is too much, may as well delete the hatch while you're at it.
If the killer could end the game early in these spots rather than suffer a long search for hiding survivors when they don't have Whispers, I'd be all for that. The remaining survivors could get a consolation prize of 3k bloodpoints or something.
You can give the survivors the full 40k BP for all I care. Just let me surrender out of that hostage situation. I do not want to waste my time searching for rats. Yes, I said it. Ban me if it is too much for your poor little heart.

Grats, this was the first season in over a year (at least) where I didn't care to grind cause it wasn't worth my mental health and the frustration that definitely ramped up. Kudos to all the people who stuck through though.
I never do it. It takes WAY too many games of playing to the pip system to rank up. I just take whatever they give me.

Ada was on first hook when Dwight gave up. As far as I know, he gave up before she was hooked--she just had Kindred to show me where he was and what he wasn't doing the moment she was thrown on hook. He was the only one on death hook, and that doesn't justify his behavior.
This game should stop rewarding players who throw their teammates to the wolves. DBD is a 4v1--not a 1v1v1v1v1.
Yes it does, if you are on death hook and trying to escape, you are not going to hook trade. It is fine if you disagree or whatever, but that is definitely the reason he did not bother.
-
This is not Overwatch. Ain't nobody in queue for 15 minutes.
-
I told you they would remove it. I am only surprised it took this long.
-
If you remove the "playstyles are toxic" mindset, the game actually is one of the least toxic online games I have ever played. Probably because of the lack of voice chat and the fact that this is just a party game. Generally the more competitive a game, the more "toxic" its participants get.

That is literally impossible unless Killer goes AFK. It takes too much time to do a full generator before Killer comes to check.
You do not need to do a full generator. You can have it 99'd. It forces you to play in such a way that may or may not be bannable, and then you have to win a 50/50 on the exit gates when the killer knows where your gen popped. It is not easy, but I would not call it literally impossible given that I managed to earn it.
You know one I will likely never earn? The RPD 20 exit gate escapes one. I am not planning on ever getting that. The game will be dead before I do.

Certain things need looked at still. Hyper focus being one of them. It makes no sense to me. They upped gen speeds under the premise of kill rates were too low....Then gave a perk that can let you solo a gen in 50 seconds
Honestly just sounds like a skill issue, but for real this time. The game is heavily survivor sided at higher levels. You do not magically skill out of it. You can look up tournament play if you do not believe me, and yes, that trickles down. No, it does not happen every game. But when the survivors are solid, you are not going to be doing much.
Crying about gen speeds? Ha ha ha... Sorry.
-
I mean, sure? Survivors already click and teabag if it makes you feel better. A lot use the "get over here" line where they beckon you to chase them.
-
@versacefeng said:
Killers have more and better chase perks than survivors. You're complaining about nothing.
I disagree with him completely, but you somehow made me disagree with you even more. Like, yeah, he is definitely wrong. But you are Hella Hella wrong. Exhaustion perks are absolutely stronger than killer chase perks, other than perhaps Bamboozle. And it SHOULD be that way. The game would not be functional if your statement was true.
-
It depends on the killers. The really garbage desperate ones will be on you as though you stole their wife, killed their puppy and keyed their car. The rest will honestly give you hand outs out of respect for running the perk. You get both, really.
-
They actually think being able to see is an advantage. With how nonsensical that stance is, you are NEVER going to get through to them. It is completely arbitrary.
-
This idea is so hilarious that I would always slug in the 2v1 to see if a survivor was going to kill the other one. It would definitely add a story to some of these games.
-
That is just how Dredge's power works, it is not a bug.
-
They did not? Evil Dead is more of a Left for Dead clone only a player is the "director" instead to make it asymmetrical.
That being said, I do agree that making it a pvp, especially a paid one, was a terrible decision.
-
Survivors were really upset by the slight killer buffs. I honestly say we should just revert them. As a killer, the difference is negligible regardless. So I do not care if we lose those buffs. But the survivors are clearly distraught about them. I do not see a reason to not just change it back to how it was mechanically and decrease gen times.
They could also make the incentive 200% instead. Sweeten the deal and make survivor the way to grind BP. Might be healthier for the game.
-
I hate the 2v1 when survivors attempt to take the game hostage, however... That is not even close to why solo queue is widely criticized.
-
Play Evil Dead if you prefer it, but nah, they should not take notes. That game is a joke, and not a particularly funny one.

I had a game just 10min ago where everything went okay, I was playing Wesker on Azarovs Restingplace and hooked everyone a couple of times and the first one died after 2 gens were done.
But then the Mikaela that I was chasing down and nearly cornered pointed at a locker and low and behold, an Ace slowly emerged. I shook my head and remembered the old saying "snitches get stitches" and killed that Mikaela off. I cornered the two remaining survivors pointing at each other and thought that they were cute and trying to determine who should be sacrificed. In the end I let Ace go and gave him hatch. In the post game chat everyone was still there and quite agitated that I let Ace go, who apparently had not touched a single gen, but even sand bagged his other team mates.
Thinking about it, that Mikaela could only have called that Aces locker if he had entered that before I started chasing her, so I guess that I gave a troll the hatch. Then we had a smal discussion if what happened was a bannable offense and here I could confidently explain what was and wasn't such an offense :)
So tl,dr: I was sad that I apparently gave the bad apple the hatch, but in the end it doesn`t matter too much
I hate rat snitches as much as the next guy, probably a lot more, actually. Almost definitely more. That being said, in a video game, giving out someone's hiding spot? I do not consider that snitch behavior, at all. And even if I did, I would make an exception to kill the immersed player not contributing.
I get that some immersed players do contribute. I am one of them. But typically people do not give away your position unless they have beef with you or they are trolling. It does not matter, I run head on. The one Dwight who tried to expose me got me a free stun. Thank you, buddy. Appreciate it.

So the game now revolves around the killers fun?
No? Does the game revolve around survivor fun because they can give up on hook? That does not even make sense, fam. The game is supposed to be fun for everyone regardless of role. He just wants a forfeit option, which I personally feel would be healthy for the game. After 10 minutes have progressed and available to everyone in the lobby, not just the killer. Survivors get held hostage too.

"That's easy, I shouldn't have booted up DBD and I should've kept playing Dead Space."
Why in the heck would you choose DBD over Dead Space? That is your main issue. lmao..
Once you beat Dead Space around a dozen times, it loses a bit of its luster. That being said, I have not played it in a couple years, I might have to do it again around Halloween.
-
I would NOT take SuzuKR's advice if you were holding a 3 gen. That has gotten killers banned before. If that is the reason they were holding the game hostage, you would magically be at fault for playing your objective as they refused to do theirs. I wouldn't risk it.
Only report them if they arbitrarily decided to do it as the 2v1 started.

But being boring for 80% of the people in the game *is* a problem. If you bore the majority of your player base, they move on to other games and stop buying dlcs and cosmetics.
I am not necessarily saying that being boring is not a problem, I am saying that the people who just call something boring without context and expect nerfs are not helping their own situation. It is why Legion never got nerfed despite all of the "boring killer" topic spam. The worst he got was them ruining Thanaphobia... For everyone but him? And there is not much they can do about it, either. Not without a full rework.
To that end, if this were to ever potentially happen, I strongly feel widespread requests for a rework would probably have a higher chance of getting the problem addressed than complaining about how boring he is. Albeit, I doubt they would rework him regardless. It is just kind of an example as one is genuine feedback and the other is complaining for the sake of it.
-
I do not even blame hackers at this point. This is Behavior's fault for not addressing the hostage system that has nothing to do with anti cheat. Everyone makes it about that when they need to fix how matches progress. A DC is not good enough, obviously, and hasn't been for quite awhile. And this problem persists beyond just cheaters. Normal players can take the game hostage as well and force the victim to DC. It is ridiculous, but there is no pressure on them to fix it. Heck, as far as I am aware, fog whispers do not even have their white list DC thing as they were just testing it. Surprised they care so little.
-
I honestly do not care at this point. I would like a surrender option after 10 minutes to prevent being held hostage, but I can just leave the game now that I am done with the battle pass. It is a sign to just get off for the night, ha ha ha.
-
Playing 500 games in a party on Multiversus. But I assume you meant my last DbD achievement, so... The one where you follow them through a window that was just added with Project W.
-
No... a killer being "boring" is not a valid complaint. Just like a killer whining about "boring" survivor strats is not a valid complaint. A valid complaint would be finding a problem and discerning why it is a problem.

Actually, when a gen has blast mine active, there's a little smoking flashbang sitting on top of the generator. See that, wait to kick.
I have actually never seen it. I need to pay more attention. But honestly? As a Lightborn enjoyer, I would still eat the stun just to find whoever planted it. That's V A L U E
-
The spawns are low-key bad. I like fixing them by running the perk. You will never convince me it does not change the spawns. I know for a fact survivors spawn near me when I do not run it, and I run it religiously and they have literally NEVER spawned anyone near me while lethal is up. I already know their secrets and I will not let that type of rng screw my early game. Hell nah.

GET GOOD TOUCH SUM GRASS
let's get down to business how to we resolve this problem without giving killers an survivors an advantage over each other. Every 3 hooks killer gets a free mori kill on any survivor. If he camps hooks crows swarm killer becomes slow and he unable to hit survivors until he shoos crow away.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/4RLS3HBU7SYW/murder.jpg
That would just make camping a survivor advantage, which I thought you were trying to avoid? Not to mention how broken a free mori at 3 hooks would be. That is absolutely ridiculous, no offense intended. I just think it would make survivors quit in mass if they ever did anything like that.
-
Expecting sportsmanship from randoms is just not reasonable. It is a dying value. Kids nowadays would sooner believe gg is an insult. Best to just be the sportsman you wish they were and make the game a better place for the good and respectful players.
-
Yeah... This is more or less true. I would say it goes both ways. People seem to just want bots to amuse themselves with as opposed to genuinely playing the game for what it is. I feel a bot mode would be a huge success.

I usually assume those kinds of people have really hard lives, like the only chance they can have any real control over life is bullying strangers online. I just kinda feel bad for them.
It's probably not that deep, but I still wonder what is happening on the other side of the monitor, y'know?
I am just playing a game, that is what is happening on the other side of the monitor. I am laughing... Having a great time. I know that narrative does not please you, but it is the truth. I do not even think about life while I play DbD.
If people have actually had a tough life, genuinely, they are stronger than you would know. I get this from you guys a lot, in messages, but they never seem to realize is that their opinion is irrelevant. It never hurts my feelings. Pointing out reality does not offend me. It is what it is and I hope nobody has to ever go through what I have, but my experiences are NOT some weird justification for my conduct. I do it because I enjoy it. Not to exert control over others or "bully" them. That is just a consequence of how the game is designed, I suppose. Not my fault!

Realistic outfits in this game are criminally undervalued, there's no way you all like dressing up as pastel Disney princesses in DBD.
EDIT: How much do you wanna bet that all the survivor outfits in the winning selection would become sets too?
Nobody wants to be a boring middle aged depressed parent pretending to enjoy Christmas which is the energy the top row gives off.
I am dripped out the wazoo with my Disney Princess aesthetic and you are just jealous, Versace. Enjoy old age, my friend.

Basically, there are two types of throwing. Soft and hard. Yes, cleansing dulls is soft throwing. It is not bannable. You are not griefing by doing it. But you are still throwing, more or less. We all know it is true which is why the responses here are so defensive.

Just become my favorite. It is easier to change yourself than expect me to change.

They will do that regardless, I mean, they somehow convinced the developers that Sadako does not need help. They used to nerf Pig every other patch until they got bored of it... I do not know, man. People are just hardwired to complain and complain. People cry about Blight add ons and pretend that is his base kit, for instance, or worse... Spirit. People still think she is S tier for heaven's sake. You can just never win if all you want is a stable discussion on how viable something is or isn't. They will always blur the line with their crocodile tears. ๐

It doesn't make the game scarier it makes it more annoying. Especially for killer.
Well, yeah, the game is not supposed to be scary for the killer. I know survivors are intimidating and whatnot, but I think the corn is more for survivor immersion than to scare a killer.
-
Eh, that is one of the last chapters that I want a sequel for. But I would still be down with it, sounds cool.
-
Why not base kit? Not that I think he needs it, per se. But add ons are lame.
-
Yes, that is how you play against it. I do expect it if you are trying to win, otherwise, why not pull up a chair and roast some marshmallows with me? I definitely bite, but you know, if gens are too hard for you, I could make it all go away and send you onto the next one. I am nothing if not generous.

To be fair, with the origin of teabagging and whatnot, let's just say there is a reason some esports ban it. And it is not because it is BM. Lol.
-
Nah, I kill who I want. If it makes you feel better, I would never work with a survivor. That is beta as hell, eating out of the palm of a survivor main like some sort of rat? I will not stand for it.
That being said, if I like you, you live. Don't worry, I rarely like survivors. But in the event one of them charms me, they get to live. My decision, not yours.
