Also highly dependent on killer. Slugging on Oni leads to fast snowballing, slugging on Trapper does almost nothing

If anything this may have saved Boons.
There's nothing they could change about Boons before, without either making CoH (even more) overpowered, or every other Boon completely useless.
Now that CoH has a similar level of utility to the other Boons, they can be adjusted as a group by changing things like blessing time, effect radius, notifications, hex interactions, etc.
One thing I never understood was why each boon aura was the same color. No way for your team to tell what boon it is before running into the aura.
-
The only two I find to be requirements on my killers are Makeshift wrap for Trapper so I don't trigger my own traps (should be basekit), and Rat Liver on Demo because that also should be basekit

What Hex perk is so worth the risk of using that it is meta? There isn't a single one.
You could make the argument that Demo can use DH because he has an addon that automatically reveals anyone getting within like 6m of the totem but that's incredibly niche.
The hex totem perks by design are weak.
- They are too easy to remove - in part because of communication and the fact that spawn locations can be morized (not to mention when they are literally in the open with zero cover).
- Generally speaking they are worse than most killer perks that can't be destroyed so why bother?
- The few perks that are good never last long enough to matter.
- Compare boons which can be re-ignited infinitely if the bones are not broken to hexes and you will see the problem. Killer's can't break bones but survivors can. Boons can't be removed unless all the bones are broken - wow what a shock that Boons have the potential to be better.
- Any time killers found a way to make totems strong resulted in an immediate nerf to the strength of hex totems. Anyone remember the Thrill of the hunt meta that actually allowed you to protect totems? They Nerfed it to oblivion. Anyone remember pre-nerf Undying that actually made hexes decent again? It was nerfed to oblivion.
I wasn't talking about the here and now, I was talking about before the huge balance patch last year that killed perks like Ruin. Because yes, right now no Hex is worth using, regardless of totem spawns

@DBDVulture said:
Dont forget Hexes - they are the original problem child.
I don't even think hexes were a problem, Totem spawns were. Hexes needed a 60 second entity blocker at the start of every match so that they didn't go in 20 seconds when they spawned next to a gen

They did know how to balance them to some extent, but everyone's hobby seems to be crying so unfortunately we can't have nice things anymore.
TBF COH was overtuned, but it was also clearly overnerfed
-
People have been saying the game is dying for the past 6 years lmao
-
I think its because she leads to boring gameplay on both sides. If you place birds at a loop the survivors just shift W. At least with spirit its a mindgame
-
Honestly I'm all for a controversial PTB, I think the chaos is fun
-
I really don't see how noed is in "s" tier. Only Time I would consider it to be there is if the killer hooks someone right in front of the totem as then its a guaranteed sacrifice.
-
I respect your opinion but im gonna have to strongly disagree. The old animations looked horrible
-
Its annoying because 9/10 times it activates you are sitting on a gen
-
Might be bugged, I got the adept with a 4k and didn't have all iridescent emblems
-
I'm still waiting on the promised Twins, and Sadako changes, hopefully Freddy isn't too far behind either
-
The best way of describing her power is "Jack of all trades, master of none" So while you can use her power in any of the ways you described, she wont do it very well
-
Let me urban evade to the corner in peace 😤

Probably because he can hookcamp

If you’re running loose crank you’re throwing.
any time you use the bound move you’re basically guaranteeing to get looped. Manually vaulting is faster because you don’t get the animation stun. Charging the move causes you to lose bloodlust.
the only time his move is worth using is against two survivors running down a linear path or to smash a survivor into a wall to apply the useless infection ability. Using it to chase is ill advised. But as a gap closer - it’s semi okay. If you’re in a chase a smart survivor is heading for their nearest safe pallet or jungle gym. If you vault anything with your dash it basically means they got away. In an open area like redwoods or the big empty center of macmillan meat factor, autowreckers or even haddonfield and it’s basically resetting the entire chase progression youve made for some infection.
only addons worth using are gold chalice and lion medallion. In my opinion.
Not sure why you are mentioning vaulting so much when loose crank has nothing to do with that. It increases his movement speed between his first and second dash. Which when turning tight corners in loops is extremely helpful.

pretty sure that the worst addons are on mastermind, but k.
Bruh Loose Crank is wayyy better than anything Freddy has, and that's an uncommon ☠️
-
Freddy is pitiful right now. He needs yet another complete rework.
-
Great perk, nothing about it I would change
-
I have 75k shards right now so yes
-
I definitely don't want to rile out that it could be a hacker, but this isn't uncommon when you have a bad internet connection to the server.

But it's an issue with the hat, and not so much the body piece. You can change the body piece of this outfit all you want but in any other it's still gonna clip through the hat.
the hat needs to flop upward, methinks.
TBF though even if it might clip when paired with other cosmetics, I don't think it should clip in it's intended set
-
@Huge_Bush said:
They should have a feature where you can try out cosmetics in the practice mode to see if you like it enough to buy. You can catch crap like this before you regret the purchase.
I understand clipping is going to happen sometimes, but I feel like in this scenario it could've easily been caught in QA and then the shard's height could be slightly adjusted.

Higher fps will always increase reaction time

It’s probably due to the new bug? spirit has where you need line of sight with her to hear directional audio. Hens’ new video showcased it so people are playing spirit more now
Ahh I thought something weird was going on but couldn't quite put my finger on it
-
Id suggest playing any killer you want but bringing insidious, so hit a survivor then stand still till insidious activates and wait for 50 seconds..... Then profit
-
Plague or Legion if this is solo q

Why is prestige held as a measurement of skill?
Idk but its incredibly annoying, would rather just not deal with it
-
Well the way I see it is at least we got
Balanced map: coaltower
Killer sided: Dead dawg
Survivor sided: Ormond
So at least it was kind've balanced
-
@Blueberry said:
I mean if it didn't show in lobby then it would literally have no purpose.
Thats why I feel it should just be shown in the endgame screen, that way people can still see it without it impacting the lobby
-
Any perk that gives an extra health state, and any perk that affects gen times is always going to feel unfair
-
Plague

@FengShuiExe said:
I don't normally play this killer, is there a game breaker with her at the moment?
Here's a video that demonstrates the current problems

The ones that i get paired with in solo q
-
While it would be awesome to have as an option in custom games, obviously the balancing of the game would go straight out the window with an official implementation
-
And all of this because the two people who play her at top mmr are "monsters". Which once again proves why this game shouldn't be balanced around the top 1%
-
I wonder how long before the mods take this down
-
Yeah i went against one yesterday. I see more blights than I do nurses though

If the destination isn’t open space, she blinks to the closest open space, aka shorter. Or has to go around.
example: She’s blinking to point A. Between her is a 2m thick wall right in front of her, and at 16m away, there’s a 5m thick rock or wall or whatever. Then she’s going to blink in front of the rock wall because she can’t go the full 20m.
maybe in some specific main buildings that would be a problem but obviously your average map she won't get stuck like that
-

Nurse can’t travel a perfectly straight line either. If the destination is blocked by an object, she has to underblink or blink to the side.
Uhh what? Nurse goes straight through most tiles
-
Tbf though this is assuming the m1 killer can travel to the generator in a perfectly straight line without objects being in the way. Nurse would be faster in those instances
-
Legion
-
I will forever be sad if I lose my perk icon
-
Presumably if they entered the struggle phase and unhooked themselves they were hacking, did that particular survivor do anything else that was suspicious?
-
The most annoying thing right now is auto dead hard

@MikeyBoi said:
If anyone has played DBD years ago, I think it’s safe to say the game has never been better then before lol. You guys seem to keep forgetting that the majority of player base has gotten a lot more skilled compared to when the game first came out and the devs simply had to adjust. Yea old decisive strike was better for survivors except for the 2% of survivors that were cracked that could hold a chase for more then 15sec it was downright broken.. Having 7 blinks back in the day with recharge addons as nurse was only OP to the 0.3% of players that actually knew how to play her properly.. Whats your point??
So the literal infinites in old dbd are also a skill issue?
-
Did anyone say you cant win matches as weaker killers? Obviously it will be harder but personal skill is the biggest difference.
