    Well..the issue is

..making normal frenzy have lethality is oppressive and not really efficient, that could be a problem

I just gave Frank's Mixtape (which is one of the worst addons in the game) base kit. It won't be so oppressive in my opinion. If killer will try to down with this he will be genrushed very fast. Actually with this change I wanted to make Deep Wound more threathning so survivors won't start to mend at 1%. And I don't really think it will be oppressive. I really would like to play against legion with frank's as it is in current stage :P. That would be a pretty fast and easy win :).

The lethality of the changed Frenzy is not really good and can help you in a very few situations. It's actually making one of the worst addons in game (Frank's Mixtape) base kit. With changed Frank's Mixtape skill of the survivor and the killer depends on how fast you will be able to down someone.

  • @immortalls96 said:

Not bad..however..I feel this may not fix the issue with legion which Is his lack of a chase tool, his pressure is decent but his chase is non existent

His power is created to pressure survivor and gain some kind of control on the map. But if you want to help yourself in chases you can take franks mixtape and a yellow ruler. That will for sure help you in some chases, especially when survivors are starting to mend when they are under 25%. Also thanks for your comment :)

  • Okay I've changed the Fuming Mixtape. The idea is from one of my previous post. I think this addon will find some fans :D

  • @Lowell said:

Maybe changing fuming Mix tape to something like:

When you manually cancel the power your fatigue cooldown reduces in 0.5 seconds

So we can't do the old legion instadown

Yeah i know that i have to change this addon, but i think 0.5 is not that much noticable to be a pink addon. If it will reduce more thank 0.5 it will be to op. I will have to think about something. Still thanks for your opinion :D

  • @SweetTerror said:

I personally can't stand that Legion's power completely depletes upon a missed attack. Considering that it's not an insta-down ability, this never made any sense to me.

and I know why the power is ending when you miss. It's done like that because when the Legion came out people abused the lunge of Feral Frenzy and they were making more distance than without lunging. But I don't know why it's depleting it entirely.

as a legion main I LOVE IT but maybe u should keep FUMING MIXTAPE the same because i dont want old legion back(hitting a survivor.. 4 times with this addon is gonna be rlly fast...it feels not balance in my opinion) ...still this changes are amazing :).

Yeah I was thinking about that somewhat later after publishing the post. Thank you so much for your opinion :)

Juat want to point out that window/pallet techs doesn’t work against legion in frenzy. At least not anymore. There is no way to avoid getting hit from a somewhat decent not even good legion. Unless you split up of course and make them waste all their power by the time they get to you.

    Thanks for your reply :D

Cooldown: 3 seconds is very reasonable. Right now Legion gets heavily punished for ending their power and taking a second off of cooldown would be nice.

Duration: I think I would just make Stolen Sketchbook basekit then give it another effect.

Deep Wound Attacks: This is the reason why people despised old Legion and why they were the DC Kings and Queens, there's not a lot a survivor can do if they're just getting frenzy stabbed to death. I wouldn't be against the power gague not draining completely when hitting a deep wounded survivor if frenzy hits didn't drain the survivor's bar.

Missed Attacks: There's no reason why the Legion should lose their entire bar when missing an attack. Losing half of the bar is a lot less punishing.

Legion Pin: I personally think exhaustion add-ons are extremely boring. I would give the Legion Pin 60 seconds of Oblivinessness to survivors inflicted with Deep Wounds or 30-45 seconds of Undetectable after successfully chaining at least two attacks and ending your power. This can lead to interesting builds and synergize with your Stab Wounds Study proposal.

Movement/Vault Speed: I love speed, but maybe lower the number on the vault speed just a little.

Joey's Mixtape/Cold Dirt: I'm cool with these changes, but I think the Tunnel Vision should just be decreased in general.

Blades: Increasing mend time is okay, but reduced action speed can lead to another Forever Freddy situation where no matter what the survivors do, the game's progression is at a halt.

Stab Wounds Study: I love this idea a lot, but the range should be around 20 meters instead.

Frank's Mixtape: As said before, downing survivors with Frenzy is not healthy for the game. What if it was like Doc's Iridescent King and made it to where the Deep Wound attacks inflicted survivors with a random effect such as Hemmorhaging, Mangled, Broken, or Obliviousness?

Iridescent Button and Fuming Mixtape: I agree that these add ons are perfect how they are.

I love your Legion Pin and Stab Wounds Study combo :D Also Frank's Mixtape is a nice idea.

As a legion main, take my words with some salt. I think they need a rework. if you have watched their trailer, one acts like one of the survivors, so i was hoping that he would be able to disgiuse as them and sneak up on them. but noooooooo, we got this and it made me feel so bored.

    Thanks for your opinions :D

  • @Almo said:

I have access to data you don't, so you're unfortunately in the dark about which addons are weak and which are strong. I can't go into details, but if there's anything here I can use, I will keep it in mind.

That's for sure. Remember it's only my opinion :D. Also thanks for reply :)

  • @FFirebrandd said:

So, there's a lot here. I feel like if they gave all of these buffs to Legion, they'd be too good. None of them on their own seem like too much except 1.

Your speed boost addons. Assuming they stack, Legion can run both and be running in frenzy faster than the survivors can with exhaustion perks. That's probably way too much.

    @[Deleted User] said:

Okay, I've listed your proposed changes, each with my thoughts.

Cooldown: Making it 3 seconds is a good idea, because you have changed the cooldown add-ons to do something else, I see no way this can be possibly abused and would make Legion less add-on reliant.

Duration: Making Feral Frenzy's duration longer than 10 seconds seems a little unnecessary, especially when the add-ons still exist to extend it further.

Deep Wound Attacks: This is a really bad idea. Allowing Legion to effectively down a Survivor, no matter their skill level is not fair. This would bring back old problems, and if it were to be added, a lot of folks would probably be very angry.

Missed Frenzy Attacks: Yes, but it should always reduce the power gauge by half of its maximum. The Legion has already, very little counterplay. If a Survivor is in chase with The Legion, there is a very high chance they will take a hit. Missing an attack is punishing on purpose, but I agree it should be lessened.

Smiley/Defaced/Legion Pins: I agree. Nothing more to say about it.

Friendship Bracelet/Never-Sleep Pills/Susie's Mixtape: I don't think movement speed add-ons are very helpful, so making them only affect vaulting would be better in my opinion. The time reduction on vaulting is too much. You could stack two of them, and also run Bamboozle to have an incredibly fast vault. The values should be reduced to 0.05 / 0.1 / 0.15 seconds instead.

Julie's Mixtape: It's already in the game, but being used by another add-on. I don't see why not.

Joey's Mixtape/Cold Dirt: I don't believe that reducing the fatigue effect would be to helpful, but I know it bothers people. Maybe the add-ons reduce the effect by 25 / 50% opacity respectively.

Filthy/Nasty Blades: This would make the synergy with slow down perks, too significant. I think increasing Mend time is more fair and healthy for the game.

Stab Wounds Study: I love the idea, but 28 meters is way too much. I had a conversation with @Almo about this very add-on already. The range would need to be 12 meters, or completely different in effect. By itself, it is too powerful.

Frank's Mixtape: I love Frank's Mixtape. I use it un-ironically, but nerfing it by 0.5 seconds is not a good idea. Even though you have given the add-on other effects, making the add-on worse is not the way to go. We also can't buff the time reduction from 7.5 to 10 seconds, as this would make chasing down a Survivor with Frenzy far too easy. I think completely reworking the add-on is the best option.

Iridescent Button: I agree, it's perfect.

Fuming Mixtape: With the recent changes to auras during Frenzy, this add-on is fine as well.

Thanks for sharing this with me, here is a meme for your troubles!

I don't know how I feel about making Feral Frenzy lethal again... seems kinda wrong because there is nothing a survivor can do to avoid a Feral Frenzy stab.

I mean if you won't be fast enough and survivor will be able to juke you well, you will lose a lot of Frenzy Gauge. If you are not a good Legion you will play almost like the current Legion with Frank's Mixtape. Downing in Frenzy still won't be the most viable strategy. But still thanks for your opinion :D

  • @Tatariu I know you are a Legion main. Can you tell me what do you think about these changes? :D

  • @LastShoe said:

Just one thing to say, stab wounds study is bad. 30 seconds of oblivious? I find that you rarely commmit to a chase after deep wounding a survivor, what is even worse, if they mend, you stop tracking them because they aren't affected by your terror radius.

In the end, if you commit to a chase after hitting them with ff, as soon as they realize they have oblivious they will start running to a safe spot (no, pallets usually aren't a safe in this scenario). Right now survivors sometimes just disrespect you and start to mend. Then you can cancel your power and often get a down.

Also, if you would want to go back to injured survivor after they finished mending, you can't track them, which means you can't go for already injured survivor, to get easy down and with normal legion speed, it will often be unlikely that you will catch them offguard with only 30 seconds.

It would be useful only in closed maps, on other maps it would impact your power negatively.

Okay, you are right. Have you got any idea for stab wounds study?

  • @Peanits @Almo Can you give me your opinion about these changes? :D

  • @DeadByMittens said:

I agree with most of these changes but not the hindered, stab wound study add-on, and pins add-on. Giving the legion hindered on base kit wouldn't help them too much. Especially when your giving them reduce fatigue time when hitting multiple survivors, so it wouldn't be healthy for the game. The stab wound study add-on should only be one of the changes not both. Reason, you would be punishing the survivor for doing what they have to do. Being oblivious and having your aura shown to the killer for the whole match sounds like hell. Finally, the pins add-on are just fine the way they're atm, they don't' need to be changed imo. Also, the huntress has a hinders add-on but you don't see people using it lol.

Thanks for your opinion. I gave the Hindered status effect to his base kit because you are not always able to stab multiple survivors. With stabing multiple survivors you gain -0.5 fatigue for each applied Deep Wound. But when you attack a Deep Wounded survivor your Fatigue is always 2.5 seconds. And that hindered can help you in situation when there aren't any survivors around. When you have survivor's around more viable strategy would be stabbing all of them and then end it right next to them.

When you combo Green and Yellow pin you get extra 5%. So The survivor is slowed bu 8% for 30 seconds. That can help you in a loop imo. :D

Buttons. I wanted to get the status effect on each hit because it's more clear. You know that you hit survivor and he is let's say blinded.

Stab Wounds Study: Yeah this addon is really powerful. My idea of it: You apply Oblivious, You fake that you ran away, than you come back and down a survivor. Of course they can just wait this 30 seconds and mend when the Oblivious is gone. They can also see when the other survivor is getting injured, so they can tell if The Legion is somwhere near or not. Especially when survivors play in SWF group.

One more time thanks for your opinion. I really appreciate this :D

I like it, however I think if you are affected by deep wound you should NOT be able to work on a gen, heal, use items, ECT just like tier 3 madness

I was thinking about it. I think that could be kinda annoying for survivors because Deep Wound is easier to apply than Madness Tier 3. But maybe you are right. Deep Wound should be more Threatening.

This would be a very simple way to make the legion more viable. But still, he won't excel in ending chases or countering loops. He's only good at slowing the game down

Yeah. Also I wanted to give the Legion shorter fatigue if he stabs multiple people. When you can't stab anyone else, stab the deep wounded survivor. You get 2.5 fatigue. This attack fatigue is never shorter, never longer. You give him a small speedboost, but he is hindered, so the survivor is slowed. That can help you a bit in loops :D. Thanks for your opinion :)

I think it would be pointless to see the timer, since you can't do anything with the timer (Not counting Frank's Mix Tape and SWS), also it would be inconsistent with other Killer powers.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1238712#Comment_1238712

I think that would be a great change! I hate when Survivors just go through me when vaulting a window thus forcing me to use Bamboozle.

Thank you :). I was thinking about this deep wound timer and you are right, that it's only helpful with franks mixtape. So maybe add this effect to the current Frank's Mixtape or SWS. I think it can be a nice change especially when you don't lose your power gauge when hitting a surv with deep wound. So you can see how much damage you are doing to survivor's deep wound timer. Also i think that Frank's with this QoL changes would be good addon for good Legion players. When you are being juked by survivors and you lose a lot your Frenzy gauge so you won't be able to down them as fast. It depends on killer and survivor skill. Changes, that you made are great :)

  • Also I think adding a hitbox when vaulting a pallet is a good idea, so when you vault a pallet and end your power, the survivor can't just vault back. It can be so annoying.

  • hmmm, what do you think about seeing the Deep Wound timer as The Legion. His power base on this status effect so maybe he could have this ability?

  • Also i would increase here the FF duration (1-2 seconds). :)

  • naah. Endgame collapse starts in most cases when All Survivors can escape because they can 99% the gates. I think these perk should stay in place they are right now.

  • @BattleCast said:

Why should this Killer be playable only with a addon? That is very bad honestly xD

they want this killer to be a navigational tool, not a chase tool. That's why we cant down survivors. But with this changes if you want to down survivors just go ahead and take this addon. now you have navigational tool and can down survivors :)).

  • I think with this changes Frank's mixtape is not that bad and doesn't need a rework. You will be able to down survivors way better than now. Also we want it to always take 25% of deep wound timer. I think it will be really great :D.

  • @BenZ0 said:

I dont know what your goal was. Your changes are okey but thats it, that wouldnt fix Legions problem at all. Legion has way more problem then just a long fatigue stun.

The biggest problem of Legion is that he has no power to down survivor, in that case FF has to reverted to be a deadly power OR add a secondary power simiular to Demo or Pig where you use the secondary power in chase to down survivors. Keeping survivor injured is not enough thats why plague got also the apple as baseline since injured survivor can still just push the gens and you have nothing to do against that.

If you are interested I did a own legion update a while ago: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1O7WWCWlfe9apyzuIV_8FeLvTtatm7vRW/view?usp=sharing

with this you will be able to down survivors better with franks mixtape becasue:

Stabbing a Survivor while in Feral Frenzy that already has Deep Wounds will end Feral Frenzy, but it will not deplete your entire power gauge.

that means you don't have to wait whole 20 seconds to get your power back :)

  • And guys remember that frank's mixtape takes 25% of deep wound. This addon doesn't stack with stab wounds study. So now the deep wound timer is 30sec so frank's mixtape take 7.5 second. If the timer would be 20seconds it would take 5 seconds.

  • That is great :D. Actually everything we need in power changes.

  • @AhoyWolf said:

I really like the Fuming Mix Tape change, it rewards the Legion for chaining Frenzy hits. :)

Thank you :). Also thanks for letting me to use your add-ons. They are great :D.

  • Hi. I want to make my own The Legion buff idea. I really like your addons but i want to change them slightly. Can i use your work? I will of course add you as a creator of them :)

  • And that's a good idea

  • Do you plan to change The Legion addons? I mean Frank's Mixtape and Stab Wounds Study. In current state they are useless. They are also purple so they should be especially useful.

  • Lets go Boissss!

  • Too OP in my opinion

  • Guys it's very nice to hear :D. Thank you veryyyy much <3.

  • @HatCreature said:

Ok I really like the idea of losing a 1 Token when the power ends regardless but I think to make this a solid change would be to make it when you down someone with FF meaning with 4 Tokens you lose all the tokens and go back to 0. This way you're gaining strength throughout the match and then when you use your ultimate ability you start over. Otherwise once when you get to 4 Tokens you'll 1 Token but you'll still be at 3 and you can literally just double tap the next Survivor.

I wrote that hitting a survivior with deep wound deletes all tokens :D

  • @HatCreature said:

So to be clear, If I activate FF and I hit a Survivor I get 1 token but lets say I my power runs out before I hit someone else, do I lose that Token or do I keep it?

I decided to make The Legion lose tokens while getting out from FF. I wanted to make it like a reward for hitting some people in a row. If you think that stacks shouldn't disappear, we can discuss about it.

EDIT: Okay I decided to lose 1 token when Feral Frenzy runs out. What do you think about it? I will edit it in a moment.

  • Yeah It's actually good. You can also change PGTW to BBQ. You will be able to see injured survivors and fast down them :D

  • @FriendlyGuy said:

Wouldn't solve their problem with big maps, but good idea tho.

  • Wow. It's awesome. First rework that really pleases me. Great work, the add-ons are great. I pretty damn like it :D

  • Buff addons and power or rework. It was a hard decission but i think rework in some way would be better.
