Merfolk Tribal is a real fun deck. I hardly play tho.
I run Selesnya wolves and Niv-Mizzet tempo.

Sometimes I actually manage to get a hook. That's wild.
But getting your janky off-meta combo off juuuust right in Magic: The Gathering. That is one of the best feelings in the world.

I would have to say Ash. The dude literally had to murder his friends after they were possessed by Deadites, saw off his own hand, got sent through time, returned and ran from his past, ended up summoning his past and causing a world-wide apocalypse, left his friends behind, brought to near death by a demon, got sent to the future, not knowing where the few friends he had left were, and then got brought here.
Can't get much worse.
What in the Berserk combined with Persona 2 is this?
But discounting licensed survivors, Meg had a rough childhood, Dwight literally got drugged by coworkers in his original backstory, Jake suffered alienation from most of his family. It's kind of hard to say.

The 70s adaptation of Watership Down has several, most notably
"All the world will be your enemy, Prince With A Thousand Enemies, and whenever they catch you they will kill you. But first they must catch you Runner, Digger, Listener, Prince With the Swift Warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people will never be destroyed."
"Oh... Hazel... The field! It's covered with blood!"
And, of course
"Silflay hraka, u embleer rah!"

Wrong franchise. Normies worry about predatory loot boxes. Persona 3 fans worry about dying because Mitsuru missed every Marin Karin instead of healing.

After Stranger Things we should make the Sleeping Table a killer just for the memes.
I'd say bring in Mitsuru as a killer but she wouldn't be able to hit to save her life so Ridiculous Difficulty Spike Table mini boss it is!

A rushed out, buggy set of servers will stay in a lot of players' minds as buggy forever. A delayed set of servers will eventually be good.

I tried to find the tweet, but I lost it. I tweeted Mathieu, asking if it would be possible to get the Grim Reaper (basically death) as a killer. He explained that the Reaper would be more satisfied in taking souls, not working for something else. I don’t think death can come into a timeless realm because none of them truly die.
Yeah, that makes sense. Death serves to usher beings to the afterlife. He's not inherently malicious like the Entity. If he did exist as a person in this universe, he'd me more likely to try and fight the Entity than serve it.

Try to find 4 Blendettes who do nothing but hide in a dark, foggy map the entire game and come back and tell me what a wonderful fun experience you had.
Can you imagine how fun having to deal with that on Yomoaka's would be? Oh boy.
As a survivor, I love Yamaoka's. I've been in situations where the killer literally had to walk right on top of me to find me. That said, I understand how unfun that must be for killers. I say brighter lighting is fine if it helps y'all out.

The only "counter" to this issue on both sides right now is lobby dodging (if ping is red pre game) or dc'ing (if he someone starts lag switching), both of which can get you called toxic or a crybaby. Dc'ing also costs you items and add ons. Unfortunately, there's no way for the system to tell the difference between an unfortunate lag spike or genuine cheating.
My personal ideas are to either limit who can play killer (either by having certain internet requirements or blocking the role off for people who have high ping too often in games) or limit how far away a killer and survivors can be from each other. Obviously, neither situation is ideal for queue times, but the trade off would hopefully be higher quality games.

Not so much an urban legend as a folk tale but
According to legend, a great storm once struck a village in Scotland. The terrified villagers gathered together in the church to take shelter and pray for salvation. They were so focused on their prayers that they failed to notice a great green-furred beast that appeared in their midst. The pastor was the first to see the creature as it stalked towards its unwitting prey. He tried to cry out a warning, but the beast leapt upon him with unnatural speed. With burning fang and claw he ripped the screaming man limb from limb. Then, maw dripping with blood and fluids, it turned upon the villagers, wh tried to flee. One by one they fell, until only a handful remained. Then, with a flash of lightning, the beast disappeared as mysteriously as it had arrived.

It’s possible that he escaped, there does seem to be a way out, but I don’t think he left. It’s possible, but I think he’s still in the realm
Just gotta wait for them archives.

@KillermainBTWm8 said:
Speaking of Vigo could it not be possible they just dipped? Already was able to do so much and the devs have spoken about a way to escape the realm. Although that would be underwhelming.
I wouldn't call it underwhelming, necessarily. If Vigo found a way out that means it might still be there waiting for another survivor to find it. That in and of itself could be interesting

I was thinking Benedict to be the Prisoner in all honesty. But it really could be either of them, wouldn’t be wise to give Vigo all of the knowledge that he was looking for though.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/683979#Comment_683979
How? We don’t know any weakness of the Entity, or what happened to Vigo. He could be a killer, he could be in the Void, I doubt he would be in the real world, it would basically be suicide
Who said anything about giving him knowledge? He might've just taken it. And maybe giving Vigo everything he wanted was a good idea: give him what he think he wants to shut him up and pacify him with a lotus eater dream.

Highly unlikely. The entity seems to have no known weakness at the moment. This would mean that it’s nearly impossible to kill. Kate’s lore even stated that it’s skin was like iron when she beat its leg with a rock, only for it to bounce off of the Entity. The only thing strong enough seems to have been Vigo, yet we don’t know what happened to him.
The Entity wouldn’t let someone that knows of its existence into the real world, that would be suicide for our little antagonist. The void would be better suited, maybe even turning him into a killer. It would make sure to always keep an eye on him, and show us how scared of this one guy it truly is.
"Highly unlikely" "skin like iron"
*laughs in P3 protagonist killing the avatar of death and p5 protagonist killing an actual god* Trust me bro, the power scaling does mot favor The Entity on this one. Kate had a rock. The Persona 5 Protagonist, Akira Kurusu, has this:
That's gonna hurt a lot more than a pebble.
But in all seriousness in terms of Vigo, he's most likely either in the void or is the Archivist. We'll probably find out which on once the archives launch.

70 seconds is too generous. Make it a 120 second cooldown.

tbh Dead by Daylight is bad game design. This game's a friggen mess.
-
Being in the killer's terror radius and knowing that the killer is looking at you are two very different things. A killer can walk right by survivors in their terror radius if said survivor is well hidden. Spine Chill lighting up can give a survivor time to hide from an approaching killer. The perk doesn't have to override every stealth ability in the game to be good. You have a 3rd person camera for a reason: look over your shoulder from time to time.

"Dead by Daylight is a flawless game with no flaws." - No human being with a brain ever.
Nah but for real, if you think it's a glitch there's a solid chance it is. Report on the Bug report forum and see what the devs say.

Saboutage is just such a problematic mechanic, as soon as it's "viable" it's an issue, especially with SWF.
There's no entertainment in a game where you simply cannot do your objective, because it's very easy to saboutage a couple of hooks, and it's easier for a SWF squad to destroy whole areas quickly, along with running other anti-slug perks.
Imagine if Overcharge just stopped you working on gens for 3.5 minutes at a time, would that be fair? Of course not, the ease of setting that up would not even compare to the payoff.
Saboutage should honestly just be removed from the game entirely. It's worthless in it's current state and it's horrendously abusive when it's stronger.
A good chunk of the mechanics on survivor's side that ahould be helpful are borderline useless. Wiggling rarely ever helps unless a killer is greedy for the basemmt hook, luck is just a flat out joke, and sabo is great for memes but not much else. The devs need to actually fix these mechanics and make them useful.

@SureSpear That's the MMO, right? Never tried it. But I played MMOs as my main genre of gaming from 1999 until 2016. I stopped when Overwatch came out. Tried again in WoW with Legion and BFA, and recently with City of Heroes: Homecoming, since retail CoH was my main MMO for its 8 years of life.
Sadly, at 46 years old, I think my love of that style of game is a thing of the past. Just can't seem to get into them anymore. While I was never into shooters until Overwatch, and am unlikely to ever play shooters again, I think I prefer the quicker in-and-out games nowadays. Something with short 10-20 minute matches.
I'm really enjoying the iconic horror style of Dead by Daylight and Friday the 13th for that. I get the quick games and then can logout after a few, and also get to revisit my childhood horror icons from the 80s. Being a major horror fan helps, too. Hell, I make part of my living in the horror genre.
Yeah, that's the MMO. Most of the content is in it's phenomenal single player story campaign though.
Well, most of it is phenomenal. A Realm Reborn is... Ehhhh... Not the greatest.

I can't even say it in words how horrible the experience on PS4 is.. Playing on Controller is absolutly disgusting. And the FOV on survivor and killer feels so tight and reduced.
The fps is... Alright I guess. Manageable, but far away from good. Graphics is horrible, at first I thought I'm playing DbD mobile.
I think the worst thing is the controller. Absolutly wobbly and extremely restricting.
With all the respect.. But how are you ps4 mains playing this game?? It's not bareable for me.
BHVR, you need to work on keyboard and mouse support. This game is not playable with a controller... Or lets better say: not enjoyable like on pc.
I grew up playing platformers on console, so I'm pretty used to the controls. My laptop and internet are so crap that my pc experience with the game is worse by a mile.
That said, welcome to my nightmare. I cam't tell if us console players are masochists or just plain madmen, but either way we aren't all there.

What is this thread?! It feels like the OP intended to reply to another post and instead started a new thread. Who are you even addressing this thread to? The mere idea that "all gamers are created equally and have equal value" is heresy. Gaming is a meritocracy. The player that is only good at working on gens does not have equal value to a player who is good at working gens and also good at keeping the killer occupied. The entire premise of your argument is inherently untrue. It's like you are trying to convince all of us that 2+2=4, but also 1+1 can equal 4 if it's good at hitting skill checks.
So do you just not understand wholesome intent or are you intentionally trying to start something?
