In that case we would have to buff every single killer that isn't Nurse or Blight. Even other strong killers like Spirit would need to be buffed. And then it would turn into a game where with comms it's manageable but if even 1 person isn't on comms it's unplayable. I'm 100% against Voice Chat in DBD. Competitive games with comms ALWAYS go the way of people not using it = insta loss, so forcing people to be on comms or lose isn't healthy in my eyes.
And to clarify by "Competitive" I simply mean a game with 2 teams of Human players.
They don't need it. Proof is literally in the lastest data drop.
-
Swf isn't a problem. The team in the team game should have comms of some sort
-
A dev outright stated that if someone has no intention of actually playing the match there's no point keeping them in it.
-
The set of tunnel perks aren't that impactful alone and feeling forced to use 2+ perks just to give yourself some defense against a killer who decided to give you a 2 minute match just feels awful
-
i wouldn't mind seeing it tried but it may end up with the exact same issue with he was EXTREMELY oppressive vs weak players but literal trash vs ppl who knows how he worked
-
The value of bam isn't to get cheesy downs on survivors not paying enough attention to miss the fact you blocked the window, it's to prevent or strongly reduce the survivors ability to chain windows together. This part of bam is completely unaffected by comms
-
No, he was overbuffed in terms of recovery and this is a great change. Being able to zone from missing is stupid and bad gameplay. BHVR W
-
You really need to understand that 80% of dbd players are extremely casual and will simply not go look up basic info about the game. It's the reason why killers with any complexity are almost always soloq bashers
-
Champion of light is alright and deadline basically has no effect unless combo'd with skillcheck perks like hyperfocus

Yoichi and yeah probably him or Ash for me.
forgot about ash lmao that's def top 3 if not the first
-
Hyperfocus is just that insane and can let you do full gens solo in 40 seconds or less. Extremely stupid perk that should have never been added. I have no idea why bhvr would further enable it with deadline.
-
I heard it does by a little bit but i doubt it's enough to matter tbh
-
family photo and rapid brutality are the only things that are needed to really bring the best out of singu. Other than that just whatever amount of slowdowns. chase perks, or info perks you like to use.
-
Xeno is perfectly fine as is.
-
Yea the cd was literally my only feedback during the ptb, which to be fair they did do some nerfs to the cd addons even if minor. Nearly a full second cut off from his cd was just too much and that's with out taking in account for addons
-
prolly the character that came with ringu i can't remember his name if im being honest. His only even notable perk is parental guidance which is extremely meh. Tho there's a strong argument for cheryl and elodie being the worse too
-
His power design directly impacts what is fun do as survivor.
-
She's boring and uninteresting. Woah a stealth m1 killer with an iq check gameplay mechanic and ether wins the game for you or does nothing

What tiles should I be able to curve around?
Just around loops this size. Tho the faster you are in power the bigger the loop you can curve.
-
Please explain how this is 1930-40 Germany coded. I simply don't understand or see it
-
You learn the best from failure if you can prevent yourself from getting frustrated. That is something you are just gonna have to accept.
But if you wanna reduce the annoying part of learning billy just don't try to play for clip farming. Really all you need to do to get results on billy is smart zoning and be able to perform minor curves against survivors trying to to use a tile to prevent a backsaw. long juicy curves are very rarely the correct move and going for them all the time will lose you games.
-
^^^
You're also only immune to flashlights you can still get flashbanged

Since the knight has been killswitched the following has happened.
my hair grew back
my blood pressure is normal
I quit smoking
I repaired my relationship with my parents
I went back to school
i stopped drinking 300mg caffeine in the morning
My depression was cured
My cat, Marsey came back home
and i now do volunteer work
This will all go away if they enable knight, don't do it bhvr.. think of the children
-
It's nice to not have borderline griefers on your team every other match.
-
prolly singu or freddy
-
It's whoever brings the most broken stuff sided.
-
the houses have to be stupid due to the rest of the game being actually trash. Not every LOS breaking literally just wide open deadzone. Not saying it's good design but it's how the map is
-
They have to be good enough to actually pull it off which is fairly rare. Watching someone bump against a wall for 2 minutes isn't that fun
-

I think it does because they say it's a new effect and not an additional effect
yea that's how it reads but im really hoping it's not the case.

Do Meg, Nea, Kate and Mikaela not fill that already?
i want another one
-
I want an attractive white girl in her 20s. Give her a ponytail or something idc
-
probably feng and knight/smerch
-
Should be reworked not directly nerfed imo. The stealth perk needs to not recharge from being stealthy

Joke aside. Its been a while I havent play against a Pig, if interupted, is the bar progression completely removed?
If so, I think they may only need to keep the key searching progression saved on each box.
yup completely gone. There's a large chance you will just die to the traps even if the pig player themselves completely leaves you alone to search them, nevermind if they zone you from them.
-
scream builds are cringe and bhvr should make the progress bar slowly decrease once you let go of boxes. Wildly unhealthy play style.
-
I would put pinhead much lower and blight in front of billy and singu behind billy

It's area denial that's easy to counter when not in chase though.
Weak DOES NOT mean it's healthy.

Pretty much. I think a lot of it is 'PTSD' from before her rework. A lot of survivors either don't know she got reworked or can't be bothered to learn how she works after her rework, they're used to giving up against the old Chess Merchant and they continue to do it even though she's worse at holding a 3-gen now.
For the record I'm not saying she's perfect and she does still have some issues with her kit that could be ironed out to make her more engaging to play against, but as far as 3-genning is concerned I really think there are multiple other killers who are just as good at holding a 3-gen who no one complains about.
It's not. Her entire kit on a fundamental level is corrosive to the gameplay of dbd. She should be a clear example of what not to do with killers in the future for bhvr. Extreme area denial is flatly unhealthy for the game that dbd is and simply shouldn't be directly encouraged in a killer's design
-
If all gens get done and a gate gets opened you lost as killer. Otherwise it's a killer W
-
They're just annoying black and white perks for both sides.
Ether they're oppressively powerful and never get found or they get destroyed in under a minute. Standard hex perks that just are destructible extremely powerful perks aren't that healthy for the game imo.
-
No, we should not buff the greatest gen speed perk that dbd has ever seen. If anything hyperfocus should be nerfed heavily.
-
No, literally no reason for it to exist. Complete overkill and promotes unhealthy gameplay on an otherwise perfect killer.
-
In game guides won't do anything. There's a near unlimited amount of resources for learning and getting good at dbd with easy access. Placing those resources in ppls faces won't suddenly make the majority of super casual players care about improving.
-
100% Insanely unhealthy perk and easily opens up really degen strats
-
Slowdowns will always be ran unless they're so undertuned that's there's no point to. Outright, why does it matter what those perk icons look like?
-
issues with playing against him are completely unchanged. He will ether slowly in a handful of knives in or just instagib you depending on the tile
-
If you put hag as not having to chase then trapper needs to be in the same boat
-
Smerch knight then both trap killers
-
The power role should be which ever side has the better players
-
The first point isn't a clown only issue. There's a lot of killers with strong chase powers are crippled by the fact that you are forced to just walk everywhere. These killers are seriously hard to buff in a meaningful way without just making them feel uninteractive and op in the 1v1 which will just make them better at tunneling. They're simple some killer designs that will not work in higher levels of mmr, tho this issue has gotten much better with maps getting smaller and smaller.
Being forced to run corrupt/deadlock is both a no map control issue and a map design issue. When half your first chase is better just trying to close in on the survivor who preran when they saw you yea it'll be a rough start no matter how strong your chase is. This problem does actually have a simple fix of both making survivors always spawn together and designing maps to make prerunning less effective.
