It's purely up to you if you decide if you care about survivors fun
-
absolutely needs to have the vault speed nerfed. It's significantly faster than normal vaults and as it is this makes it the strongest chase perk in the game for survivors. You don't actually want to use the stun since you'll lose the vault speed
-
Lightborn, backround player, slippery meat, lucky break, and dissolution/blood flavor. Just super uninteractive perks that only take from gameplay instead of adding to it. random haste perks are pretty high up there too
-
Honestly, just burn out pure and simple. The core gameplay loop hasn't meaningfully changed in 9 years. People are just bored and wanna cherry pick matches where they know that they're gonna have fun in.
-
unneeded for the vast majority of killers in a game that is killer sided for 99% of the population.
-
played it once and will never play it again. Designed for the kinda person who thinks survivors should have literally no interactions against the killer
-
gameplay is the exact same for 95% of matches and having to sandbag yourself for that 95% is boring af
-
Yea, would have opened design space for future perks with these mechanics but ppl rather be insanely short sighted about it so here we are lol
-
bait question lmao? It completely disables a play style, if the survivors wanted to do that play style, they can't. It's that simple

Hot take: he was nerfed incorrectly. Let me explain.
So Ghoul can hit you from super far away and thats def not fair. In response the grab range to environment and survivors was reduced by 2 meters. Little to no difference for getting hits but super cluncky for environment grabs, also factoring in the minamum leap range of 5 meters from the point of the grab, leaping for distance is alot harder. The attack range should've been the only thing being reduced and it should've been by a large amount, while the environment grabs should've been left untouched. Every other basekit change is fair imo, he still has enraged for majority of the match once he gets his first hit with power, thats a small problem with giving too many chances too often for team injures
it's not a hot take at all he still has scamper 2.0 unironically and they nerf his grapple range lmaaooo
-
forum community not active enough to be split like that tbh
-
4k with no opened gates
-
There is a big survivor nerf coming with all survivors spawning together soon.

How does he need more counterplay? You play against him like any ranged killer, predrop and los denial/distance, and then literal free flamethrower turrets that are a radar and take him out of his power, or at least slow him down. Y'all would find a reason to nerf Ghost Face if you could.
Survivors actually want to engage with the killer not just prerun 10 years and play for distance, or take what feels like forever to set up cringe turrets to completely neuter the killer with good setup. Blight and Nurse have more meaningful, interesting, and interactive counterplay than xeno. The tail change is healthy for the game and for the killer, without having xenos balance handcuffed to having an unreactable power they'll actually be able to be buffed in other areas.

Nerfs might be harsh, but I agree he needs more counterplay. His pickrate is completely irrelevant on whether to change him or not.
Just his tail needed to be changed. Burn changes are a complete miss imo
-
I love it. Wrecking yard 2.0 god bless this makes me wanna take the map offering
-
The perk is strong but due to it basically requiring comms it's just not useful for the majority of players
-
not a fan of the oni/spirit maps
-
No. If streamers can get 4ks as perkless trapper and afking for the first 30 second of the match you should be able to manage without coinflip tunneling lol
-
It's just not a solo Q perk and despite what ppl say hard tunneling doesn't happen that much. It's similar to unbreak but unlike unbreak, this perk can easily make it so you're the one who dies if you just trade places with the guy on hook.
-
With old multiplayer games like dbd it's less about how dbd is going at the moment and more about what else has recently released.
-
i get random put in korean servers still sometimes. So it's probably just dbd putting you into the wrong server.
-
old % was like 40% solo and 30% duo when they released the stats a bit ago. I doubt that it really changed all that much
-
It so fluctuating is less about perks but instead due to the nature of the game. Survivors can be doing gens for free one match and struggling to even have one survivor on gens the next. This game is extremely snowbally and that creates a lot different ideas about how the pacing of the game is between different players due to their experiences.
If you're bad at chase/macro your view on gen speed is heavily warped for both sides, and a lot of players blame perks/items for this ether out of cope or because they actually don't see what they're doing wrong. Do items and perks exasperate this game of gameplay? Yes, but it's not the actual reason that game pacing is a roller coaster -
now cucky players get to understand how it felt to play against mistake of a killer. Enjoy your clunk
-
it's objectively awful design but it will never be changed. L born users will keep their crutch forever
-
Survivors need a visual indicator when you're in crawler mode. But i do agree that they kinda did beno dirty.
-
Matt Eliott released a live version of drinking songs 20 years later recently and it's really good
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHNL1oN9zXI -
im sorry but but i already have to sit on gens for minutes at a time i rather not do the same with bones
-
Prolly not a healthy perk to buff. I do think it's a meh perk at best but dbd is a better game when it's bad imo
-
20 second sprint burst that recharges while running> old MoM
-
nah release meg was hands down the most broken a survivors 3 perks has ever been
-
My only opinion about this stuff is simply just learn to read the room of the match your in. You aren't playing against high level swfs every other match and survivors understanding the bare min of the macro of their role doesn't count as "high level" imo. Do you honestly need to 3 stage 1k timmy who clearly doesn't even know the layout of the map he's on to win? Im not saying that you never need to tunnel/heavily slug to win in some of your matches. It's 100% the only winning play sometimes, but if have to 3 stage someone every match to feel like you have a chance you need to look inward instead of blaming game balance if you're playing match make games. Just try to remember the human on the other side that's all im asking fellas.
-
he simply needs a full rework. Really no point wasting dev time on him until they're ready to actually commit to making him have a power worth using
-
In actual high level games where everyone knows what they're doing the game is survivor sided. That however is not the reality of the match making system. And it only takes 1 or 2 bad(or clip farming) survivors to completely nullify the skill of the other ones if the killer is willing to abuse them. for the vast majority of the playerbase this game is killer sided due to the simple fact that you as the killer have full agency on the outcome of your match unlike as a solo or duo survivor
-
The counter is to not let 5 gens pop.
-
ppl just hate playing against mr predropper who uses the entire map in under a minute
-
mmr is a meme in this game lol. Once you're out of the kiddie pool players group you are grouped with the rest of the player base. Every match is filled with borderline randomly skilled players
-
ppl just going to ignore that the fact that the endu is now a CD instead of something you had to earn huh. 150% was very clearly too much and the most powerful part of the perk no longer has a prereq.
-
No, you're completely valid to not like hope but the perk legit does nothing for 9/10 games you use it in unless you're forcing value from it. If the effect wasn't very powerful it would be really bad
-
I personally haven't played survivor since knight released. The game has just moved away from the 1v1 and is more about the 1v4. Killer is still pretty fun tho
-
wildly depends on who you're asking lmao. lots of players in this community are pretty weak tier gamers and believe it's toxic to just be good at the game, let alone actually use strong stuff. I would personally just say using stuff like BNP, instaheal, and strong maps are what is sweaty af for survivors.
-
Can we please not replay blights entire patch history until recently where they're giving already extremely strong killers compensation for nerfs they deserve
-
Nothing they can do outside of an actual complete rework will make smerch not cringe to play again. Zoners aren't interesting.
-
Devs directly stated biopods in the post. Thank god the devs aren't going through with the aimbot changes
-
No, survivors forced your hand. Survivor induced tunneling is a very real thing and happens a lot. Survivors trying to use force value from anti tunnel perks, the unhooker immediately hiding after unhooking, and immediately running to extremely strong tiles like dead dawg main are very common situations where chasing the unhooked survivor is the only correct move.

Take your childish elitism to somewhere that matters, if you can find such a place.
it's not elitism. If your prefered form of input is so unbelievably bad that it requires the game to be trivialized for everyone else it shouldn't be considered for game design in anyways. You can plug in a MnK into modern consoles. Your refusal to not handicap yourself shouldn't force devs into removing all mechanical skill from games.

Playing Singularity with joysticks is agony, aim assist is necessary to make him less of a nightmare for console players.
Play on a real input instead of holding back the entire game industry.

Dont buy this most hated killer argument, I still think survivors will despise more…blight, wesker, knight, wraith, vecna, spirit, nurse, onis that can flick, hag, legion, plague, and how can we forget, skull merchant.
People will hate any character really, no need to hinder singularitys QoL changes because people will just add one killer to the 20 something pile of things they hate.
The changes i am complaining about are not QOL in anyway.
-
imma be real with you if you're complaining about emps you haven't reach singus skill floor yet. don't give up tho :))
