I have P3'd all the male survivors with all the perks on each of them. For killer, I never bothered until Sadako. She's my only P3 killer because IMO she looks amazing with her P3 cosmetics.
-
Personally I find the perk to be really decent now. I know for sure as survivor it's definitely a bit annoying and the exhausted effect has caused me some trouble too especially when caught off guard by stealth killers!
-
I love it when I fully condemn a survivor and they'll rage quit as soon as I down them. Like it's already hard enough as it is to fully condemn someone and you're going to rage quit for it being your fault by not getting rid of it? Please.
-
I guess I'm fortunate because I haven't run into a single bot yet. I hope I haven't jinxed myself now!
-
I'd never part ways with my favorite perk Leader, but if I had to I'd swap it with Aftercare.
-
It's a pretty balanced map overall IMO where it's a bit favorable for the killer side. I have great back and forth matches in this map. IMO, most of the current maps can learn something from Dead Dawg.
-
With these types of asymmetrical games, the more stressful role is the one that's outnumbered which in this game is the killer. Knowing this, I suggest you change your overall mentality when playing the killer role. Play how you want to play. If you play casually and use whacky builds, do it! Don't let the other survivors dampen your experience even if you get no kills. If you're going full try hard and enjoy getting your 4K's that's also valid IMO but know that this tends to bring tougher matches and more stress.
Since I play killer under my own terms of how I want to have fun, I rarely get frustrated while playing killer. I tend to pick the "worst" killers like Trapper, Clown, and Piggy yet I always have a blast playing them. Lately I've been having a blast playing as Sadako.
I do hope you can find a balance between playing casually and playing competitive. Trust me, once you do and play under your new terms to stop taking this game so seriously, you'll have fun regardless if you win or lose. Here's hoping!

I loved the post BHVR did today. This is what I'd like to see more of moving forward. Personally, I see good things coming out of these tests and I hope they continue making tests to make this game more fun for newer players. As a veteran, I'm already locked in the game, but they need to retain new players so making it more fair for them (both sides) will hopefully increase player retention.
One thing I hope they address soon is the grind. That's one of the things new players complain about and rightfully so. It's a huge time sink.

It's fine with the current speed bonuses it gives IMO. Underrated perk too.
-
I'm here! Usually play Trapper, Piggy, or Clown!

Leader.
Its been coming in very useful for faster healing, speeding up hex cleansing, open exit gates etc. In one match it even helped get someone off the hook fast enough for the rescuer not to get grabbed even though the Wraith had STBFL.
Came to say this! Always run Leader + Bond whenever I play Dwight. It's come in so handy every single time.
-
I love bringing it. It's so fun and I do quite well most of the time. Solo queue btw.
-
Opposite experience for me. I hardly see anyone ever bring maps lol.
Maps with the add on that allow others to see gens and totems are useful when the killers bring ruin or other hexes which is basically every game. It is especially useful on maps where totems are tricky to find like Midwich and The Game.

Uh oh. Someone had a rough match vs clown
This reply seriously made me lol IRL. I'm still giggling here.
-
Solo queue is definitely more frustrating to me than killer ever will be.
I always play solo survivor and I have to worry about my other solo queue team mates who most of the time are bad, toxic SWF, and the killer.
-
That's the only time I have to play and it's fine for me. Yes there's a lot of SWF, but not all of them are SWAT style SWF.
Meanwhile as a solo queue, I just looped a Clown for 4 minutes and died on my first hook while the remaining 2 (one DC'd like 1 minute into the match) just urban evaded...
Nothing in the killer side is as frustrating as the above for me.
-
A big loss for the community IMO!
She'll be missed for sure. Wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors, not_Queen!
Thank you for all the hard work you did for the DbD community.
-
I've been getting a lot of those survivors as well as a solo queue. What's worse is that they've been red rank...
-
My new favorite build for survivor is Empathic Connection, Solidarity, Leader, and Aftercare.
As for the killer meta, it's fine so far for me. I wouldn't say it's boring as it's pretty much in all of my games, but expected at this point just like it's expected to see the same meta on the survivor side. I think pain resonance is in a good spot and is a healthy regression perk. Dead Man's Switch I'm iffy on because it's viable now and I like that it's being used. I wouldn't want to nerf it since it has good psynergy with other perks, but I dunno. I'm okay with it.
-
No charm here yet on PS5.
-
It's a solid perk now. It's fine how it is. I hardly see that many people run it in my lobbies as both survivor/killer.
-
Congratulations!!!
Definitely one of the harder adepts to get especially on console. I was also happy when I got mine!

on what platforms are you guys? I’m on PS5. Might be PSN having issues because other games won’t connect too
PS5 lol.
There seems to be a PS5 firmware update for me.
-
Whenever I finish a match, it's giving a connection error message and takes me back to the main menu. Maybe the servers are bugged right now.
EDIT:
Yep, I'm getting the same thing as you now! Servers are probably down lol.
-
Let them gen rush the first 3 gens. They always force themselves into a 3 gen like 95% of the time because of it. Then once a snowball begins it's basically over for them.
I personally don't use it because I'd rather play with 4 perks throughout the entire match than be stuck with 3.
-
Got the DLC day 1 on PS5, but haven't triggered the second cutscene yet so no charm for me!

Having played a ton of Sadakos over the past 48 hours, I feel like there are people who know how to use her, and people who try to use her like other killers. The former type are actually pretty challenging to go against. I faced a few that were downright oppressive. The latter really struggle.
People who insist she is bad are clearly in the latter camp. I mean if you keep trying that and don't have success, that's a you problem, not a Sadako problem.
She isn't bad at all.
I agree. I've seen some really good Sadako killers who straight up destroy the entire team. I solo queue and some Sadako killers have destroyed the lobbies I am in and this is with other decent survivors too!
-
It's fine for me since that means they will usually 3 gen themselves into oblivion.
-
PS5 with cross play on.
-
Really decent perk now IMO.
-
I still play this game daily for hours and enjoy the majority of my time with it. It's straight up my go to MP game to destress and love the time I invest in it.
I play both roles and enjoy both roles immensely.
-
Ruin is an S tier perk, IMO. Yes it can get cleansed within minutes of a match starting, but the actual effect of it is very strong if it stays up/the totem is well hidden. Most people tend to pair it up with undying after the nerf to get a little bit of more value out of it.
Unlike the majority of the community that complains about NOED, I actually love it as a survivor. To me nothing is more intense than a NOED end game. Trying to rescue the hooked survivor, trying to find NOED to cleanse it....it's all so intense.
Would I classify it as an S tier perk? Personally for me I wouldn't. For me, it'd be around B+ tier or low A tier. The effect is strong, but I don't think it makes a ton of 4k's as many survivors would make you think it does. At most it's one guaranteed kill because most survivors (I solo queue) will escape immediately once the NOED activates and alerts everyone.
-
Fantastic improvement! Thank you.
-
Clown lobby music. I miss hearing it in the main lobby whenever I load the game up now!

All the better to screw you with my dear 😉
We're done here!!

Use both!
-
I got this in solo queue. The killer decided to tunnel someone throughout the whole match while I repaired the gens and escaped lol.
-
Solo is still a mixed bag. It's been so bad for me tonight...
-
Man, I hardly see toxic Dwights! It's usually Nea, Feng, or Nancy's that always try to be toxic in my lobbies.
I'm always the Dwight with Leader equipped instead of Prove Thyself!

A legacy Trapper is one of the most terrifying sights in the game.
Agreed! They're always ridiculously good too!
-
I'd say bear trap/chainsaw for Trapper and Billy even though that's exactly their power.
For best I've always found Spencer's Last Breath and Of the Abyss to sound amazing.
-
I love running it with Autodidact and Solidarity.
-
Billy! Those are always the best matches.
-
I love going against Billy killers. Those are always some of the best matches as a survivor. Most Billy players are also very fair IMO.
-
I have run into quite a couple as a solo survivor!
-
I will echo what other people are saying. Don't play with them. Experiment with whacky builds and stop taking this game too seriously. If you lose it's fine and you won't gain MMR. Eventually it should even out to where you get a mix of experienced and not so good survivors. I don't know, maybe I'm just old enough to not care too much about my performance in the killer side of this game and just roll with whatever fun builds I can think of. So what if I didn't kill anyone? I got enough hooks and enjoyed my time with the chases/whacky build I decided to use.
-
I still play for hooks. If can 3 hook everyone and win that way, awesome. If I 2 hook them and they all escape I'm still cool with that too since my MMR won't increase.

Nobody is using the damn petals except me :,(
It's a'ight. It's nothing special, especially for those of us who were around last year as it's basically last years event but we're kicking pumpkins instead of poking weird flower things.
I'm there with you, but those damn petal offerings are so damn rare in the bloodweb for survivor. I have no issue with them appearing on killer, but my god the drop rate for survivor is non-existent for me sometimes.
-
They wouldn't bother me if they stopped repeating the ones that have like 4 versions of the same charm. Charms also need to be organized better for selection because it's a nightmare having to scroll through so many pages of them.
-
It's definitely been a major problem ever since MMR was turned on. Before I hardly ran into any.
