It's definitely useful if you don't get tunneled immediately after getting unhooked.
I prefer second wind over it, though that has a much more tougher activation time since you need to fully heal someone before you're hooked.
-
Honestly for me I 90% play male survivors and since the majority play female survivors, I always feel like I get targeted first over them every single game lol.
-
It's the cycle of games like this. Some survivors have had extremely BS matches with horrible killers meanwhile killers have had sweaty toxic SWF in their games. They try taking out their frustrations in their next game, which none of the survivors or killer deserve.
Fortunately for me though, I just play on my terms and rarely do I feel frustrated playing killer. I find solo queue more frustrating with the amount of boosted red ranks, but even then, I'll just move on to the next.
Word of advice: if you feel that it's exhausting you or frustrating you to this level, drop the game and play something else. Your health matters more.
-
Definitely self care when I started out. I feel like a lot of the old player's answers will definitely be that before it was nerfed.
-
Loading into Haddonfield and hearing the Halloween theme made me think I'd verse Myers every single time lol.
-
Jeff or Tapp because they're so rare! Also, P3 Quentin's!

I see what you mean now that I’m onto that challenge. Every one of the matches since I started it has had killers proxy camping hooks and then tunneling me mercilessly so I can’t heal anyone. Even when I escape him the person I have saved has already been healed by somebody else. Four rounds now and I only have 2 out of 12 done.
Yes! That's exactly what I mean! lol
That's the life of a solo queue survivor though!
-
Oddly enough I didn't struggle with this one. I always seem to struggle on the easier challenges. For example, the one where you had to heal survivors took me way longer than I needed it to take. Either survivors refused to get healed or would rather self care instead of letting me heal them!
-
Elodie without a doubt! Or should I say, Yellodie because of that awful sound bug!
-
So what do you have to do?
-
It's his new pink add on. If you're in the dream world, the exit gates will be blocked off for like 15 seconds.
-
That new Nemesis perk drained all my tokens at the start of the match lol
-
I love the perk, but I'm loving Leon's perk which detects which gens are regressing. It's so useful to know which ones you need to go and repair once the killer starts regressing gens.
-
For me it's spirit (super good ones anyway), Deathslinger, and before this update that nerfed his add ons, Demodoggo.
Spirit is fun to go against to me if they're somewhat OK to a little decent since they tend to make some mistakes during chase. Deathslinger annoys me because of his extremely tiny terror radius and instant shoot mechanic that makes it extremely difficult to 1v1 in a chase. Demodoggo was very annoying prior to this update for me because it was the same dumb add ons people were running thanks to the video Scott Jund made that make him literally a pallet shredder.
As a solo though even though I didn't mention this killer: Legion. Most survivors I get matched with don't know how to play against Legion even though they're fairly weak. Survivors don't split up, always heal... It's really annoying.
-
The progression is way better now with the changes they made. I prefer the way BHVR does progression than Ubisoft does for their Rainbow Six Siege battle pass.
In Rainbow Six Siege there's 100 tier levels and you only get like 100xp if you lose a match in quick match, get 300xp if you win your match. You get a bit more in ranked and unranked, but since I solo queue, I get trolls, toxic players, and generally lose more than I win so it takes forever to tier up for me in that one. Plus, they only have like 4 battle pass challenges that give 800xp like every two weeks it feels.
Matches tend to be long in ranked/unranked so you'd have to invest a lot of time to get such little XP in the end if you lose.
-
Personally on console I find him very frustrating to play, but I LOVE going against Blight because it's really fun in the 1v1 chase. Speaking of, I just played against a Blight a couple of matches ago and recognized the name of a forum member here. Good game on sanctum of the wrath. I was the Bill! @Boosted_Dwight
-
Man, I've played against some really solid red rank Nemesis and he's pretty decent and a force to go against IMO.
-
I always run leader and point to the survivor to open the exit gate for everyone. Sometimes they get it, other times they don't.
Honestly though, love running this perk with bond. It has saved me and the team a lot of times under extreme killer pressure sometimes!
-
I hope they continue to make improvements because I am also not a fan. Or Feng's either. They did a great job with the OG survivors, but I feel like the same effort wasn't put in this week's batch.
-
Well said. It's been handled very unprofessionally. It's honestly very embarrassing and it shows people's true colors.
I know this community isn't the best, but these content creators should be setting a better example for their communities. They're a public figure and they should know better. Period.

This.
The developers have said time and time again that legacy is NEVER coming back. People need to accept it and move on.
Right. But they also said they'd never give out the exclusive past events items like the BBQ event stuff/exclusive event cosmetics and here we are!
-
Like many content creators/players have suggested, there needs to be an in-game message for everyone announcing additional bonus BP for playing whatever queues have the longer wait. If you make an incentive for players that they'll get bonus BP for playing killer if the survivors queues are long, I feel like players will switch over to the other side to get that extra BP thus making the queues better for survivors or vice versa.
-
I cleanse them all the time. I always tap the first gen I see to check whether or not the killer has ruin. If I see ruin I go totem cleanse. I've memorized most of their spawn locations already so I'll go out of my way to check for them and still do gens. It's free 1k points.
-
I do like using it with fixated as well. It works ok.
-
I honestly blame these tome challenges for causing this much problem to solo queue. You already have not so decent boosted red rank survivors and now add all these awful survivor tome challenges into the mix where you need to go out of the way to not do the main objective which are gens.... Yeah it's no surprise the majority of the matches are bloodbaths.

Why have they disabled Jonathon?
Because of "technical reasons" aka they didn't release the updated model so he's disabled until the RE chapter.
-
I love the swamp for both survivor and killer tbh.
-
1.5x BP should be the default already.

Also new tome has totem cleansing challenge I think.
This is it!

I want the killer to get away from the hooked person. I'm confident enough in my chase game to distract the killer while others go for the save and heal.

I do not think the combo is fun to run. Many of my killer builds now-a-days doesn't include gen regression at all. It makes the matches more fun and I have perks that actually affect my chases instead of buying more time for chases.
The best gen regression the killer has is hooking survivors. Once this clicks, you develop situational awareness, how to win at different loops; everything changes.
I kind of agree. When I think about my toughest matches as survivor, it's not because the killer is using ruin/pop, it's when the killer is very effective at ending chases quickly and getting many hooks in a fast manner.
-
Give me Chris instead please. Leon can be a legendary skin.
-
After a tremendously long work meeting, I needed this laugh. Thank you!!
-
He still appeared for me and got it as survivor.
-
In their surveys they do, I always put at the end to lessen the grind. For someone brand new getting into this game, it's an absolute nightmare and a huge time sink to start unlocking decent perks.
BHVR needs to look at the bigger picture and try to get new people to stay and play the game. You already have a dedicated fan base, but the grind for new players is a nightmare. Get rid of the perk tiers, they have no purpose anymore with so many available perks for both sides.
-
She takes a while to get used to on console. I'm still not very good with her, but I do praise the console Huntress who can hit their hatches at a consistent basis!
-
LMAO. I laughed! +1
-
Sometimes I'm glad the devs don't read these forums that often because some of these ideas, sheesh.
No thanks to your idea buff.
-
You don't consider having wall hacks and being able to communicate the killer's whereabouts at all times to your friends OP? Killers like Trapper and Hag suffer the most since their power relies on trap placement, and if you have someone with OoO who are communicating with their friends, it renders their power mostly useless. If you're a good looper it doesn't matter if the killer can see your aura if you can manage to waste all of the killer's time in a chase, which let's face it, a good portion of killers would want to tunnel the OoO user out of the match.
-
It's such an inconsistent mixed bag for me. Sometimes I'll have team mates who are somewhat decent, and then the majority of the time I get terrible team mates who won't work together or do gens. It was unbearable during the ruin/undying days since hardly anyone bothers to look for totems at the start or check if the killer has ruin when they first start working on a generator. Even after the nerf undying received, usually I'm still the only survivor trying to cleanse the hexes.
-
It's rare for me to do it, but when I do get a match that's really fun I always make sure to thumbs up the survivors or killers.
-
It's fine as it is. If you really want aura reading, bring a perk like empathy/bond/aftercare.
-
I seriously hope we get Chris, though I'll be happy with whoever they decide to add even if I don't want Ethan.
I'm a huge RE fan and this chapter is beyond hype for me!
-
I do tend to run it most of the time. However, I feel like it's been working against me lately where my team mates will use it to locate each other to heal instead of going to rescue me. Now what happens in this case are either of these two things:
1) I reach 2nd stage of the hook
2) I die because by the time they both heal each other my struggle bar runs out.
Either of those two things happening to you when you run this perk is demoralizing.
-
What are you talking about? It's the opposite for me. I have not escaped once as a solo survivor. With rank reset, I'm getting rainbow rank in my lobbies against killers who know what they're doing. It's a miserable experience.

God bless you, your 666 posts don't define you sir.
I don't need pity downs or anything though, I just need survivors to stop harrassing me after every match.
I don't see them as pity downs myself. I'll get chased for a bit and then get downed on purpose. I feel terrible whenever a new killer gets released because they are either trying to get adept/are working with whatever perks RNG gives them at red ranks (the rank I'm in). I play both roles and totally understand the frustration in not being able to get any hooks when the gens go flying like crazy. That's why I don't mind sacrificing myself or getting downed on purpose if the killer is having a rough game. I want both of us to get points!
-
You need to have the pointing animation be 100% finished. Someone else posted in another thread to just point twice back to back when it triggers to play it on the safe side, and I managed to get it done in my first match doing it that way.

Some of the challenges are truly tiresome and act as speed-bumps when working through the pass.
Have 20 gens completed? At least 4 matches.
Find 6 red glyphs? At least 6 matches.
Etc.
That's exactly what I'm talking about. And let's talk about the red glyph challenge. There's been two matches so far where I've tried my hardest to find one and can't find any throughout the match. So it's definitely going to take me more than six matches to complete this challenge. Again, I wouldn't mind if I could tackle another challenge while trying to get this one done but I can't. It's truly awful, IMO.
-
I feel like the killer challenges don't take too long to complete. It's the survivor challenges that are the ones that require way too much matches to complete a SINGLE one. They only progressively get worse as each level releases. It wouldn't be so bad if I could have 2 of these challenges selected, but you can't.
-
I've actually let them down me or sacrifice me after seeing how rough the games with him can be.
