Will you let Myers do
Cough
"Inappropriate" things to you? Last offer
You don't even have to offer me anything for me to say yes to that.

If you can also clean trapper's traps and wipe spirit's Ash then we have a deal
Sounds like a deal to me. I'll even change the chainsaw bros. chains if you need me to.

Can i have a role in this? I can walk the Demogorgon or polish Wraith's Wailing Bell.

Indeed, this goes to the "devs and communication" section.
What about shirtless Clown and Myers? And Demo needs a shirt or a sweater or something, poor thing is freezing this time of year.
-
What about shirtless Clown?
-
Nah, I just want the Clown Elephant cosmetic and that's it. Charms aren't as good this time, the New Year Lantern doesn't stick out to me as much as the Blight Vial. I'll just get my Clown costume and I'm out.
-
I don't know how you do it Groot. Maybe it was just my nerves acting up from having never really played Clown before, but I was going nuts today while trying to get better at Clown for his new elephant costume. I still managed to do consistently well, somehow, but I'm just throwing it up to the matchmaker being a total crapshoot. At red ranks I managed to go against a good amount of red rank survivors and was actually surprised at how well I did, especially on maps like Family Residence and Ormond as Clown, and after getting more used to his bottles and when/where to throw them, I felt a lot better. As for survivor, ezpz, no tension at all. Go in, do some gens, get chased, do some totems, get chased, finish gens, open gates, get out. Quite the destresser.
-
Rule 10.
Survivors are responsible for walking and feeding the Demogorgon and letting it out. If they forget to do this they must buy the Demogorgon a new squeaky toy.
-
Only on Legion. Vaulting windows and pallets at super speed during Frenzy feels amazing and lessens the time they have to go around the pallet again, or just completely blocks the window off.
-
M1 killers/killers with no pressure. Killers who needed Ruin the most. On the contrary, killers who were already good and didn't need Ruin may actually get more use out of it, as they are actually able to pressure survivors off of generators.
-
Might be a placeholder model for a human corpse they have yet to add in? If not I have no idea. Maybe instead of golden toolboxes for survivors killers get a cow.

Alien Isolation is also a pretty good game. You should 100% play the RE franchise at some point though and Doom is always a blast. I also hate to let you know but the Predator game is being funded with help from Sony if I remember correctly. So I sadly don't see it heading to Xbox anytime soon but who knows at this point.
I played through RE7 and thoroughly enjoyed my time with it, although I didn't stick around for the DLC that came later. I only came back for the free expansion that let you play as Chris.
-
These look great. Even though I didn't grow up with RE or Doom I can understand the hype. Was thinking about picking up the RE 2 remake when it was on sale but decided to get Alien Isolation instead. I'm just hoping Predator: Hunting Grounds comes to Xbox.

fear not:
i think re: resistance which comes with RE 3 might be worth a try and also predator(s)? :D I am excited for both.
Unfortunately, Predator: Hunting Grounds is looking to be a Playstation and PC exclusive, leaving us Xbox players out again. Maybe we can get something with the Xenomorph as an Xbox exclusive?

The therizinosaurs are scary-looking late Cretaceous theropods from Asia and North America. They were probably not carnivorous, despite their nightmarish Freddy Krueger claws. These unusual dinosaurs had a small skull and leaf-shaped teeth but lacked teeth in the front half of the upper jaw
Fight me
I really like Therizinosaurs as well. Big scary Freddy Krueger chickens. But like come on, giant semi-aquatic duck dinosaur!
-
What was the hardest part of this update? Reworking Doctor, reworking Lery's, or changing Ruin and dealing with the backlash?
-
Still really into dinosaurs, aspiring paleontologist. Spinosaurus is the best dinosaur, fight me.
Least favorite killer to play is Hag.
Thinking about streaming some Alien Isolation on Mixer in the future while attempting to get the One Shot achievement on Nightmare difficulty. If anyone is interested let me know.
When I was around 4 or 5, my grandmother had a snowman head candle holder. She had it on a TV, and I was too short to reach it, but I really wanted to see it or hold it, something like that. Instead of asking for help, I tried to reach for it myself, and ended up spilling hot melted wax all over my head. We then spent all afternoon trying to get the wax out of my hair. Gave my grandmother and mom a near heart attack.
-
I believe she is still mid A-tier. Her power is amazing if you can use it consistently, but if you can't she is extremely loopable due to her 110% speed. Her speed brings her down in other areas too. She has next to no map pressure, and gets screwed over on most maps because they are simply too large for her to pressure effectively. As it stands, she is still outpaced by Billy, Spirit, and Freddy, Maybe even Hag and Ghostface. Her downfall is her pressure. If she is on a map like Autohaven or MacMillan, she can do really well, but put her on Lery's, Azarov's, Mother's Dwelling, Temple of Purgation, and she's a joke.
-
Shadow of Mordor or Shadow of War are great purely for the Nemesis system alone.
If you want horror, SOMA is an amazing horror game focusing on psychological horror with an absolutely amazing story. Seriously, play SOMA for the story alone and try to go in blind, it even has a Safe Mode if you want.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is great, although I'm more partial to older MH games.
The Amnesia Collection is always great.
Alien Isolation is an amazing horror game as well.
-
Either a Xenomorph, a monster from SOMA, or a monster from Amnesia: The Dark Descent. For SOMA I could see either Terry Akers having a unique mechanic with him being blind, or Jin Yoshida, as he has the best senses in the game, and is the last "human" enemy you see corrupted by the WAU. Or we could just have the Leviathan roll around and squish survivors. For Amnesia, the Grunt is the obvious choice, but I would like to see both monsters get in, maybe under one killer, with their power revolving around swapping between both of them.
-
Still currently in the dinosaur phase. I have way too many dinosaur plushies, dinosaur figures, and I even have a couple replica fossils. Also have more plushies than what would probably be considered normal for someone my age.
-
I mainly play killer. I usually only play survivor for either a de-stresser or for dailies. Survivor just never clicked for me like killer did.

Wraith-Has killed someone.
Hillbilly-Has killed someone.
Nurse-Has killed someone.
Hag-Has killed someone.
Doctor-Has killed someone.
Myers-Has killed someone.
Freddy-Has killed someone.
Huntress-Has killed someone.
Pig-Has killed someone.
Bubba-Has killed someone.
Clown-Has killed someone.
Spirit-Hasn't killed someone.
Legion-Has killed someone.
Plague-Hasn't killed someone.
Ghostface-Has killed someone.
Demogorgon-Has killed someone.
Oni-Has killed someone.
All killers are ok except for Spirit and Plague.

Like I said, I dont have much experience with him yet. Ive actually PLAYED him like MAYBE 5 games, so this loadout is just a copy of a Tru3talent loadout as opposed to what I've actually adjusted to. After abit of play time, I can mix and match things to fit the style I've fallen into. This is more of a starting point.
Ah okay. Yeah, that's a really good idea. Might end up doing that with Clown, now that I think about it. Also hey, 4,000 posts, congrats!

I figured with the indoor map, id be more likely to get value with Nurses calling, and between sloppy and thana... im more likely to catch them injured.
BBQ...I like points, lol
All indoor maps are great for stealth killers, Hawkins especially due to lack of safe pallets. Nurses Calling is great for these maps too because they will not see or hear you coming. Thana and Sloppy is a good combo, I assume you are playing Ghostface by not stalking and going for easy hits, right? In which case, yeah, those perks work a lot better that way. I like to stalk while playing Ghostface, hence why my build is mainly for detection and chasing.

Currently working on Ghostface since he was the one closest to being completed...
Need another 11 bloodwebs worth of perks looks like...
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/790/GRWJ5RDHVDSO.jpg
Was just about to take this out for a spin since I actually dont have much experience with Ghostface, but... Had a Lobby of survivors swap to toolboxes, so I swapped to Billy. That turned into my latest "Salty endgame chat" post, lol
That's a pretty solid build. Chewed Pen is probably Ghostface's best addon, anything that reduces Night Shroud's cooldown is great. BBQ and Nurses are always great perks, Sloppy is solid, Thana not so much.
I like to run a really aggressive Ghostface. BBQ, Nurses, Discordance, and Brutal Strength. BBQ and Nurses let me find survivors really easily. Discordance lets me get off easy stalks, and Brutal Strength lets me eat pallets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
-
Wraith has really solid addons. A few that increase BP gain, a few that are just generally helpful, and a few that are really strong, The Ghost and Coxcombed Clapper in particular.
Myers too. Dead Rabbit and M&A gives 0 Terror Radius. Tuft of Hair and Tombstone are alright, Tuft especially. Scratched Mirror Myers is probably the scariest thing in the game.
But most of all, let's not forget the best addon combination in the game.

I dont bother prestiging my characters, but instead just focus on unlocking every perk on them. Currently... I have every perk unlocked on only 4 killers. I have working perk loadouts on plenty of other killers, but not EVERY perk unlocked...THATS my goal...
I still haven't got all perks on any of my killers yet. While I'm prestiging them I try to find a good build for them, and once I have that build fully leveled up at P3-50 I stop putting BP in because I never run addons anyway. Only times I run addons are for the last game before I prestige, where I run the best addons and offerings for that killer. Hope survivors like Redhead's Pinky and Flask of Bleach with an Ebony Mori.

Nurses Calling, BBQ, Hex: Devour Hope, Bamboozle.

Coincidence? I THINK NOT!!!
I didn't buy her crown because it barely changes, and I liked the P3 crown on her better. I also just like getting all my mains to P3-50, which I do by playing solely as that character, even at red ranks with trash perks. That way when I finally do get to P3-50, I feel I have actually learned how to truly play that killer, and that I have improved in general. Also, if Plague is an elder god, why is she hanging out with the Entity?

Ive got afew characters that I only really started playing due to skins. I lvled up Feng SPECIFICALLY because of a head cosmetic I liked, lol. For Legion...I'm more inclined to try playing Legion due to my Susie cosmetic...
Same reason I started playing Plague. I really liked her Hallowed Catalyst skin. Now she's P3-50.
-
Haddonfield, The Game, Hawkins, Rotten Fields, Ormond are the worst maps. Hawkins and Game for survivor, and Haddonfield, Ormond, and Rotten Fields for killer. Coldwind in general could use a rework. Maps are huge and corn sucks.
-
I'm gonna start picking up Clown solely because of his elephant skin.
-
Rank 3 killer
Rank 5 survivor
Age: 16
Ruin changes I don't mind. What I do mind is devs pandering to all of survivor's problems while hitting killers with a nerf to the most used perk and not giving us any compensation. We got a buff for Doc(at least when the PTB is over and he gets his cooldown shortened), and a rework that nobody asked for when maps like Ormond, Rotten Fields, and Haddonfield exist. Lery's was one of if not the best killer map with the highest kill ratio if I remember correctly.
If they nerfed toolboxes and maybe gen speed, then yeah, nerf Ruin all you want. I never used it anyway. But please, please, look at killer problems as well.
-
Plague, easily. An M1 killer with mediocre perks who's power hurts their emblems every chance it gets. Puke on a survivor to get them sick? The health they lose doesn't count for emblems and you can only hit them once, hurting your emblems. They decide to cleanse? They heal, hurting your emblems. You decide to use Corrupt Purge? Doesn't count for emblems if you injure them, HURTING YOUR EMBLEMS EVEN MORE. Seriously, I think the only way to get Plague's adept is to completely ignore her power. After a few days of trying it I decided to not use her power and what do you know? I got it first game.

Ds activated for 60 seconds after you get unhooked.
You can get unhooked twice.
60 * 2 = 120
So either the killer eats your ds, camps you for one hookphase or ignores you for 120 seconds.
Ah, fair enough.
-
@MegHasCuteFeet said:
Like DS was already auto-include as survivor as it gives you either 120 seconds of free time, or a 5 second stun which takes a lot of momentum from the killer.
But now since we can consider nothing really holding back quick 5 gens (with the best killer nerfs and ruin being essential in red ranks), Adrenline could also be an auto-include since the likeliness of it activating will be a lot higher.
How does DS give 120 seconds when it should only be 60? Not trying to fight or anything, just genuinely curious.

The new Ruin gives hostage killers enough regression that they can't camp both the totem and the 3 closest gens pretty well, mainly if they're Doc or Hag, the best hostage players.
You can literally just crouch to avoid Hag's traps. Urban Evasion is a big counter to Hag. As for Doc, he loses passive Madness gain, meaning he will only reveal your location every 60 seconds with Static Blast. These killers aren't hard to counter in the slightest. And if they never commit to a chase just run straight back to a gen or have at least 1 survivor on the other gens.
-
You can do this cool thing called spacing gens and actually think about what gens you do instead of mindlessly doing every single gen you see. Or you could just cleanse it, takes 12 seconds and totem spawns are terrible so it shouldn't be hard to find. 99% of the time Ruin won't even survive long enough for a 3 gen strategy. In order for this to happen:
Play a high mobility killer like Billy, who already doesn't need Ruin, or Doc who loses his passive Madness gain, meaning he will only find you every 60 seconds if relying on Static Blast alone.
Survivors need to 3 gen themselves, which most will avoid.
Be on a small map like The Game. Any large map the gens are too spread out, meaning around 75% of the maps are not viable for this strategy.
Ruin needs to survive until endgame, meaning survivors have to either ignore Ruin altogether, are bad at finding totems, or you got blessed with an amazing totem spawn.
Just don't 3 gen yourself or cleanse the totem. It's not that hard to avoid.
-
Yes, just not on Plague or Oni. It's good on Legion even without M&A. It's still a great information perk. Inb4 devs nerf it for being to oppressive for new survivors.
-
@Vetrathene said:
I don't see Any buffs. Some things to the addons but nothing major, while his base kit seems worse to me. especially with the 3 second cooldown after Shock Therapy.
Devs have said they are going to reduce the cooldown on Shock Therapy, meaning overall this will be a buff to Doctor.
-
You would get those killers even without your friend being there. Because matchmaking is bonkers and there is a surplus of survivors in red rank and a shortage of killers in general right now, it will match you with whoever it can, including green and yellow rank killers.
-
BHVR is a good company. They have made this amazing game. They deal with our complaints daily, and they all seem like genuinely nice people (Those damn Canadians). The problems arise with them not listening to their community enough, and the balance team could be better. They also have a problem with lack of communication at times. 6/10.
-
BBQ, Devour Hope, Nurses Calling, Brutal Strength is my go to build for Wraith as someone who has mained him since January 2018 when I first got the game.

If it was based on Outlast 1 then I'd also love it, I'd prefer that Doc/Surgeon character though. I do also agree, Doc's new music sounds very much in line with something from Outlast.
I'd really like Trager as well. Chris Walker was scary because he was an absolute unit trying to destroy your pathetic existence. Trager was scary because he almost seemed sane. He could speak coherently. He lured Miles into the dumbwaiter with the promises of safety. He sounds really friendly. But next thing you know he cuts off a few of your fingers and threatened to cut your tongue out blah blah blah you crush him in an elevator.
