I hope this comment ages well...

I really do. Not that i´m sceptic or pessimistic or anything.

Same. She's been in game since March, she can't be worse then in her current state.

  • It's very irritating when I'm playing killer, until it gets fixed I'm not playing killer and only playing survivor for now, and I'm going to record and report anyone I catch using this exploit.

  • @Deathstroke said:

Some kind of cosmetic should be reward they gave legacy while back to some who prestiged with very old system but was that bigger grind than the grind to get P100?

It was a big grind but getting to p100 is worse I think.

  • Yeah I agree, it's pretty problematic.

Plus there are way too many endurance perks in the game at this point, not a healthy design what-so ever.

It's like old borrowed time all over again in a way.

  • 4/10

Game feels stale, there is zero variety for killers, all I normally verse are Ghostfaces, Knights, Skull Merchants, Weskers, and Blights, repeat. The fun factor of the game feels non-existent at this point sometimes. Though I still enjoy playing the characters I main and enjoy, aka Spirit and Thalita, and certain builds enhance fun gameplay for me.

  • It's reportable, anyone who takes advantage of game breaking bugs should be reported, also provide video evidence if possible of them doing it.

  • Cynthia without a doubt is my pick.

  • And hopefully they will buff Dark Theory that only gives 2%.

They need to remove the endurance effect and add a timer to the speed.

  • His tail attack needs to have a longer cooldown after a missed attack. Other than that I have zero problems with Xenomorph.

  • image.png

Here is mine, Xenomorph is solid low-A tier for me.

  • Teamwork: Power of Two ~ (Buff)

When you heal a survivor or someone heals you, you both earn a 6% haste effect. (up from 5% and you now gain a speed boost when someone else heals you)

As long as you both stay within 16 meters of each other (up from 12m) you keep the haste, unless if you leave range, then the haste effect is removed.

Teamwork: Power of Two has a cooldown of 60 seconds (down from 140).

    Self-Care (Mini Rework)

Whenever you get unhooked by any means, Self-Care activates.

You unlock the ability to heal yourself at 85% the normal healing speed.

Self-Care deactivates when you heal yourself to healthy, Self-Care healing speed is capped at 85%.

  • Don't upset the 3-gen skull merchant mains..

In all seriousness, hopefully soon, and sometime this year.

  • That outfit is gorgeous, I'd love to see that in game as well.

I also would really want some more Thalita cosmetics in-game.

  • @DredgeyEdgey said:

Can we get a track of how many games were played in a game too for comparison?

Haven't thought about that, I'll count that up on day two as well.

  • image.png image.png image.png

Both speed add-ons = 50% phasing speed + PWYF. My specialty!

  • It can go either way depending if your teammates have the brains to spread the hell out.

  • Spirit - 789

    Thalita - 374

  • I'm tired of it as well, this game has zero variety. All it is are Wesker matches and then throw in some Knights and Blights. Nothing else. It's boring facing that all the time, especially when they use VPN's and such to gain hits they shouldn't have gotten, it gets on my nerves.

I really hope that they add a system where you don't face the same killer all the time, kind of like the map system they made to prevent going to the same map, they should do that for killers.

  • Probably Wesker because like everyone else we have to verse him like almost every match and it gets extremely boring and irritating, there is lack of variety in this game in my opinion. I wanna verse more killers like Billys and Spirits, not just Weskers.

If I had another to choose it would be Knight 100%.

  • They don't do appeals and for it to be 24 hours you would've had to DC multiple times at this point so there is nothing you can really do at this point but just wait the penalty.

  • Killer Perk: Masterful Rampage

Masterful Rampage activates whenever you hook a survivor.

Whenever you are at least 36 meters away from the hook whenever Ruthless Phantom is active you gain a 10/15/20% haste effect.

Masterful Rampage deactivates whenever the survivor becomes unhooked, as well as the haste effect.

    _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

    Survivor Perk: Unyielding Resolve

Unyielding Resolve activates whenever you are suffering from the exposed status effect.

Once per trial, Press the active ability button to give yourself the "Immune" status effect for 15 seconds. If a killer hits you whenever you have the Immune status effect applied onto yourself, the hit that would've made you go into the dying state will instead make you injured.

After the effects this perk triggers has been used, two of your other perks (not this one) will be disabled for 80 seconds, and Unyielding Resolve deactivates for the remainder of the trial.

" The Immune status effect prevents survivors from being instantly downed from the exposed status effect."

  • Some of those changes are extremely good but some are also extremely awful, the awful ones I'm mentioning are the cooldown to her teleporting and how survivors can now remove condemned from any TV. That right there is not a good change in my opinion.

I think that the two furthest TV's from a where a survivor got their tape should allow survivors to remove their condemned, not all TV's.

But still I'm glad that she is getting some love considering that she is extremely weak at the moment.

  • Buckle Up will finally have it's time to shine hehe!

That idea though sounds evil and I'm all in for it. I enjoy using Lucky Break so I must try that.

  • Such a good change, I'm happy they are removing that busted mechanic from hooks.

  • @Dustin said:

I love that the perk is getting love but know I'm going to hate it as killer. Awesome that both Blast Mine and Wiretap are getting buffs though. Hopefully more perks similar to them will make their way into game as well now that some numbers seem to be normalized between them.

Agreed versing it as killer is going to be a bit annoying but it is counterable by eating up the Blast Mine anyways, 3 second stun and you disable both Blast Mine and Wiretap.

Still, they are both even more excellent options to choose from, I'm running both in my main build when those changes come to live.

    Add on changes

    The Spirit

We have a number of Add-on changes in store for The Spirit.

    Mother-Daughter Ring

This Add-on – which increases The Spirit’s movement speed while using Yamaoka's Haunting – is currently far stronger than we’d like. To bring it closer in line with other Add-ons, we have reduced the movement speed bonus to 25% (was 40%).

    • It is about time BHVR. I have been asking for this add on to get nerfed for years. This is a great yet simple nerf. 40% movement speed was way too much for the little downside it gave. I think this will be a balanced iri add on now. Well done!

    Dried Cherry Blossom

This Add-on triggers Killer Instinct on Survivors who come within 4 meters of The Spirit while she is in Yamaoka’s Haunting. Any information about a Survivor’s location is crucial while The Spirit is using her Power, and given its fairly large range, this Add-on has been overperforming.

We have reduced the Killer Instinct range of Dried Cherry Blossom to 3 meters (was 4 meters).

    • This is the only Spirit add on change that I need to heavily criticize BHVR for. The problem with this add on wasn't the 4 meter range, it was the overall design of the add on. It offered brainless Spirit gameplay when combined with MDR and no counterplay from the survivors, sort of like old Spirit.
    • It should've been reworked from the ground up to make it do something completely different. Now the add on will just be less useful because of the direct nerf and the nerf to MDR. Not a good change at all.

Yakuyoke Amulet, Shiawase Amulet and Kaiun Talisman

Each of these Add-ons increase the duration of Yamaoka’s Haunting. However, since The Spirit’s Power recharges over a set time regardless of duration, this also meant that these Add-ons had a hidden secondary effect of making her Power recharge faster.

These Add-ons will no longer cause Yamaoka’s Haunting to recharge faster. Their respective duration increases remain unchanged.

    • Thank you BHVR, it is about time y'all did this. These add ons completely outclassed recovery add ons, which made them redundant. The only thing I will say about this is that using the full duration with duration add ons will provide a super long recovery.
    • I think to make the duration add ons more appealing is to make it so recovery time capped at 15 seconds (lower with recovery add ons). Meaning that at base it should still be a recovery time of 3 seconds per 1 charge used, but once 5 charges are used, the 15 second recovery will be indefinite for the rest of the haunting. This will make using long distant phases with duration add ons not as punishing but they will still not outclass recovery add ons.

    Origami Crane

Since the Add-ons above no longer increase recovery rate, we wanted to ensure that options were available if you want your power to recover faster.

Origami Crane now increases the recovery rate of Yamaoka’s Haunting by 20% (was 10%).

    Rusty Flute

Likewise, Rusty Flute is also receiving an increase in light of the changes above.

Rusty Flute now increases the recovery rate of Yamaoka’s Haunting by 40% (was 25%).

    • I will put Origami Crane and Rusty Flute in the same section here since they're getting similar buffs. No complaints here, as these add ons will definitely see more use, especially after the duration add on nerfs.

    Conclusion

Overall, these are great changes that I find welcome to come to live. The only real complaint I have is Dried Cherry Blossom, and I would've liked to see some underwhelming add ons like Senko Hanabi, Juniper Bonsai, and Mother's Glasses buffed, but other than that, excellent work BHVR!

I'm overall very happy about those changes but at the same time I'm also mad about Dried Cherry Blossom because it's still going to be extremely strong and yes the main issue has not been resolved.

It needs a full on rework if anything.

Not only add-ons, they need to fix his hug-tech bug as well.

I forgot about that, but yes that needs to be put to an end as well, hug-tech is not fair at all.

  • I like versing him but when you go up against him every game it gets annoying, him being disabled allowed me to verse different killers for once, I enjoyed for few days away from him, but now that he is back now I continue to verse him.

But still people can play who they want.

  • More skins for Thalita and Spirit.

Perk changes and balances, some perks are outdated or weak for both side and changes for the majority of them will be nice.

Add-on passes for all killers, and killer power buffs or nerfs.

    Remove Skull Merchant and Knight.

The ability to hide your prestige level, I’m at Prestige 47 for Thalita and I sometimes get killers that tunnel me out for my prestige, they specifically told me if they “Get the P47 then its a win in my book”. A setting to hide your level as survivor will be so helpful for me and others.

Thats all what I would do at the moment. ❤️

  • 2,000 shards for a perk for Tier 1, 2, and 3 needs to be reduced to 1,000 shards.

2,000 shards for 100,000 bloodpoints is not enough as well, it should be at least 200,000 at the minimum, with the reduced shard price that would be a nice deal in my opinion.

  • I personally think the perk alone is perfectly fine but yeah like you stated with Hope it is kinda nutty against M1 killers, in my opinion M2 killers will have a hard time if the player knows what their doing with such speed.

Either make it not stack with other Haste perks or cap haste at a certain speed that makes it so your not the same speed or above a killer thats 110 ms, thats all haste needs to be honest.

  • I agree with your list, I though think that Singularity should be put lower in C tier, even in High D tier he is very add-on reliant and maps for him suck.

I actually wonder, with the new Chapter releasing, is Forced Hesitation a good replacement for Knock Out on that build?

20% Hindered is insane, especially on a Killer like Spirit, but not too sure if the 16-meter range makes it worth using or not.

The range is kinda mediocre and if they increased it then it may be a nice alternative to knock-out. But as of now I’m not going to use it.

With Spirit, by main build is: Jolt, Surveillance, Hex: Face The Darkness, Hex: Thrill of the Hunt.

With Spirit, having at least one Survivor injured is pretty much easy, you basically have Hex: Face The Darkness up for most of the match, and with the smaller Terror Radius, you have the ability to proc the screaming effect more consistently (and it can proc mid-chase since the Terror Radius is where the Husk is while phasing, not where the Spirit actually is, and since it is a screaming-based information perk, it helps you in chase even if you dont get the Aura Reading).

Hex: Thrill of the Hunt makes totems take 28 seconds to cleanse, and since Hex: Face The Darkness takes 25 seconds to make you scream, you physically cannot cleanse H:TOTH while H:FTD is up, and you cant cleanse H:FTD while H:TOTH is up. You literally do not have to worry about totem defense the entire match, and get free information the entire time.

Jolt and Surveillance is a given, it's free information and regression, and since Spirit is really damn good at ending chases quickly, you can easily start snowballing regression/downs. H:FTD also doubles as a snowballing perk by effectively making hiding impossible; if you have two downed, you will know where the other two Survivors are. Best part is if H:FTD and H:TOTH do get cleansed somehow, Jolt and Surveillance are strong enough on their own with Spirit to do well.

My main build is Surveillance so I can know if survivors return to generators, Knock Out for Pressure On Slugs and so I can Pressure Other Generators, Jolt For Slowdown/Regression which also combos well with Surveillance, and for Survivor Information I run either Thwack or Face The Darkness.

It gets me 4ks all the time.

  • P89 Spirit currently and I have only 42 BPS as of right now, and the thing is I don’t really use them because I wanna save until p100. I find them to be extremely rare as well, I hope during the anniversary I can get tons of the new 7th year bloodpoint offering.

  • I feel with the medkit changes Self-Care has definitely became an alright perk if your running Botany Knowledge for sure.

  • I use it on Spirit all the time, the information the perk gives you is really powerful.

  • Certainly not the worst killer but he is without a doubt one of the weaker killers for sure.

The Singularity is another one of those killers that looks good on paper, but gameplay/execution wise he falls short because one of the main issues is map designs, some can be awesome and some can be a nightmare for him.

EMP’s are another main issue because they guarantee a free Bio-Pod escape instantly at times and when used during chase it basically makes the killer waste their time. They first got the Bio-Pod on you, then it gets removed from the EMP, then they got to waste time setting up more cameras to attach another, which can be the key for a survivor to hold W, and the others would be completing generators, so much pressure is lost at that point. Not to mention that survivors can now hold on to their items to hold special items so its pretty much a lose-lose situation for the killer.

Overclock is held back by EMP’s, and when you do manage to get it active it is only active for around 5-ish seconds, which is a mediocre amount of time for all the work your putting in for it, sure the increased breaking, vaults, etc is nice but its situational at times.

His pros though are his add-ons, which in my opinion hard carry him at times if your running the correct ones that are very good, another pro is that his ability to 3-gen (Yes Another 3-Gen Killer) is actually really strong. 😭

Overall Singularity is just a heavily map reliant, add-on needy type killer that can only do so little if the players know what to do against him. If I had to rank him in a tier list, 100% in C tier with add-ons, without is probably high D tier.

  • 3% is not that big of a deal and can do only so little 95% of the time unless if your running a full on haste build, but besides that, Exhaustion perks will always be better in every way possible, bloodlust is also a thing.

The chapter hasn’t been out for 24 hours yet and were already complaining over whats to overpowered, underpowered, etc. Lets just see how it goes for a few weeks, this perk I 99% bet will turn out to become one of those perks where its meta for a short time then everyone switches back to Sprint Burst/Lithe.

  • Favorite survivor is Thalita, coming from someone who is Brazilian and has a younger brother just like her, (Which is why she is my main for survivor).

Renato is also a favorite solely because he and Thalita are super cute together as siblings in the realm, his cosmetics are cool and both of their lores make them 100x better.

Least favorite is probably either Feng or Jonah. I also have a disliking for Yun Jin.

  • It's a very balanced perk. Very strong effect but only activates during endgame. 7% extra speed can really save you from some situations where you should've been downed or injured, etc.

  • Still very strong, now it works as many times as you want if your good at hitting great skill checks. The 30 seconds is not that big of a deal really.

  • I can’t believe this is actually happening.

I send all love to his family and friends, this is so heartbreaking but what he has accomplished within the last few years while dealing with ALS is not only inspiring but also proves how dedicated he was to his community, he is the defenition of a true warrior.

Rest in peace, an entire community and I will continue to cherish and remember you. I’m from now on keeping the puppers charm on as well.

  • I’m trying not to sob but puppers is my favorite content creator for DBD and always will be, he has a special place in my heart and is such a strong person, I hope his final days are joyful and peaceful ones, he has battled through his ALS and his tough moments, continued streaming for us even in his state if decline, and made out to be a huge inspiration for so many and I respect him so much for it.

    May he rest peacefully. 💔

  • I’m glad they buffed it. Now its pretty strong because at some points it can be even better then pre-nerf in some situations.

  • This is before stream but I really hope that they make changes to some killers, including my girl Spirit because some nice changes can make her more fun and better to verse for everyone.

More perk changes are welcomed, and I hope the new chapter is good, I haven’t seen any leaks yet minus the Nick Cage chapter (which looks hella amazing!)

  • I’m only p78 on Spirit. I got ways to go, but my question is now that you’ve p100 Knight do you plan to p100 anyone else?

  • Buff: Sadako

Nerf: The Nurse in terms of power, and Bubbas Ability to Facecamp.

    Rework: The Knight

    Remove: The Trickster

Either people didn't want to play her since she was bugged for survivors and they felt bad (I was one of them) or they can't play her because of certain camera angles when you spawn in and they get weird feelings about it 🤨

Hopefully she is already fixed or gets fixed soon!
