More bp means more of the stronger addons means they'll have to be nerfed into the ground like iri head.
If there is one thing good about the current system it's that rare addons are actually rare now.
That said survivors bp gain desperatly needs to go up
-
Chucky no doubt
Preferably the original one but i would even take robochucky
-
I would do this but my memory is bad and i can't remember what hook stages people are in ;-;
-
It would be nice if we could hold another button instead of shift
Sometimes a teammate starts healing you when it's really not the right time and if i press shift to cancel their heal i lose my sprint burst
-
If it tactically makes sense yes.
If i notice they are survivors i can easilly beat no
More points if i let them unhook and allow me to rehook multiple times
-
Survivors use Prove thyself for the bloodpoints, not the effect.
On a serious note, i think it's fine. 53 seconds to do a gen with 2 people normally and 46 seconds with prove thyself.
It's a 7 second difference at the cost of having to team up wich brings it's own issues
Very good perk but i wouldn't call it overtuned or anything.
Fun fact: Prove Thyself now is 1 second faster then no Prove Thyself with 80 second gens
-
I think it would be a huge benifit to the game if 3v1 wasen't so crippling.
Give survivors some kind of desperation bonus when a survivor is death/DCed and give them a penalty when getting hooked.
Won't solve the DC problem but will make it less problematic and it will reduce tunneling too cause it won't be as effective anymore

How do you do that? in my games, killers usually slug for the 4k if only 2 survivors left. I cant use a key on the ground
not that hard to hide for 4 minutes if you have the entire map available
Boring... but not hard
-
They are actually pretty usefull for soloq.
Hatch doesn't change mmr so you can use it to nullify a match with bad teammates

No more Thrill of the Hunt? :(
Started playing more survivor since 6.1 so it changed :(
-
Been playing with MoM after the change and i'm really liking it.
Heavily disagreeing with people who say it got nerfed.
Kinda the same thing happened with my old one Thrill of the Hunt where people thought it was nerfed with the notification removal but didn't realise just how much the extra slowdown did.
Guess i just tend to pick things i think are underrated
-
I seriously feel like you don't actually care about how accurate these characters are and you are just posting these things just for the sake of argueing out of boredom.
You didn't even mention what it is that wasen't accurate. You just danced around complaining about a issue without even being able to say what the issue is
They did a amazing job with Wesker
Also you are wrong. While accuracy is important the most important thing above all is that they fit and flow in the game they are being put in.
That's why nemesis could have never had his rocket launcher without it feeling like a party popper cause DbD isn't made for that kind of weaponery

From what I understand dodging a chain spawns a new one? Maybe that's only if u break it on the environment I don't remember
So i don't know 100% how it exactly works but bassicaly it wilp attempt to spawn 3 chains in short succession followed by a moment where no chains spawn
Any chain that break of the enviroment spawns another chain so you want to avoid that
If you dodge the 3 chains you should have enough time to solve the box. If you get hit by the third one you most likely won't have time and you should prepare to dodge the next wave
I hope it helps, i don't see many pinheads so i don't really have it down to a science or anything
-

I swear that the waves either reset or just don't end sometimes.
Either way, it's dumb that it isn't explained anywhere.
Yeah.
Especially seeing how you won't face pinhead multiple times in a row usually so figuring this stuff out on your own is hard
-
Wait doesn't it do that already?
I get sound when the match starts
-
Chains happen in waves
3 chains per wave, dodge 3 and then you have time to do the box
Bhvr should really make a tooltip for that. People are used being told what to do instead of figuring it out
-
I have a feeling people are going to run this in their builds . Just to drop it when they realise that camping doesn't happen every game.
Just to pick it back up when they get unlucky and have 3 campers in a row
-
I'm beginning to shy away from kindred tbh
In theory it's the best soloq perk there is
In practise it's useless if your teammates don't use the information
-
In my opinion Myers
And with the latest updates it's myers by far. Like in a tier of his own
Trapper benifited massively from the latest changes and i think people are kinda sleeping on him now. I think he easilly went up a couple of tiers
Myers is the slowest killer bar nurse in tier 1. Against most survivors this isn't a problem but when you face ones that know how to deny stalk you realise just how bad it really is.
The lesser terror radius in tier 2 is nice and probably the best thing he has going for him but won't do miracles
Tier 3 is underwhelming. It does have good snowball potential which is why people don't rate him as the worst but he's still a m1 killer with slightly longer lunge and vault speed.
Good survivors will be able to deny that snowball.
That said his power is amazing in concept though, one of the more faithfull ones. And because of his snowball you can do well against avarage survivors.
He just is a killer who you won't know how bad he is untill you faced survivors that really know what to do against him.
Probably not the worst if you look at dbd as a whole but would be the last pick if you had to face the best
-
I would like a fnaf chapter. Not my first pick by any means but i would enjoy it.
-
People 100% would troll someone for that long. Old hatch standoffs proved that.
That said who says reassurance need to be nerfed to fix it?
Put the cooldown on the hooked person instead of the perk.
Then atleast 10 seconds will pass from the hook timer so it stops it from being used for an hour and you can pause multiple hooks in case the killer gets 2 hooks close to eachother
Win win
-
A lot of survivor perks are low key pretty good and underrated
-
So you are basing this of this one page of stats that includes absolutely everybody while the devs who made the changes have litterally all the stats

I got the game when I was sick so I did nothing but stay home and play the game for about a month straight, so don't know if I'm a casual player just a new one. I got up to iridescent rank 1 and was so happy.
Now it just feels pointless, because about 5 or 10% of matches are the only ones where I stand a chance. Generators are longer apparently now so its less fun as well.
I played killer but it's just not the role I like. I prefer survivor for the hiding and stealth aspect, that's the number one thing I liked about the survivor role. I don't play to win, I played for the fun of escaping killer chases, hiding and saving other survivors in teamwork. But there's none of that now.
I think it's a real shame because I probably would have really liked this game and community, but everyone seems very hostile and not welcoming to new players at all. I literally don't know anyone else who is playing this game anymore because of the update and it just seems like there's a huge disconnect between the hardcore player base and real players in actual scenarios and situations. Maybe you just don't hear from those players because you don't let them in?
In any case, I'm pretty unhappy about this. I spent a lot of money on something which I essentially can't play anymore. Maybe I'll reinstall if they fix some stuff but I guess that's it for me. Seeya
You're not wrong about it being a very hostile community
Just a heads up this policy is pretty much the same for almost all games.
Refunds cause they changed stuff in games is something that very rarely happens
-
In terms of normal gameplay it's a 100% solid perk.
Stops unfair camping and in the cases of where you really need to camp like the end game the extra time doesn't really mean much. Not like you have gens to worry about at that point
The grieving aspect of this perk is what's concerning.
I don't really want the perk weaker cause it does bandaid a pretty big problem
I would put the cooldown on the hook instead of the perk itself. So the survivor is affected by Reasurance for 40 seconds but it only pauses the timer for 30 seconds.
It would even be a buff to it's intended purpose as you could pauze multiple hooks
-
Excellent meme!
Disagree with MoM. That was 100% a net buff. Way more usefull now.
Slight disagree with botany as well. The reduced medkit sucks but isn't that hard to circumvent. I would also argue that Botany is better then it was before
-
Pumping out gens before healing was a strategy that worked in the past. It doesn't anymore.
You can't race a equally skilled killer with objectives anymore. If you aren't actively preventing downs or tunnels you are asking to lose
-
Biggest thing that helped me is to not hold down the button when the survivor is not in animation lock.
You throw slightly slower but the increase in accuracy more then makes up for it.
With the low fov you don't want to be too close. Don't be afraid to step back a bit if the survivor is trying to run into you
A lot of players are creatures of habit and will zig zag the same way everytime. Note the delay on you throwing the knife and try to aim for their zag when they zig and vica versa.
Throw where they are going to be not where they are
It does take a lot of practise though and console especially is hell
-
No
You agreed to their terms that they are allowed to make changes to the game when you bought it
-
Legion is pretty good with it too.
Being able to find the biggest cluster of survivors at the start is so good for them
-
People like you are the reason people still run selfcare
-
That awkward moment where getting facecamped by your teammate is worse then getting facecamped by the killer
-
The problem isn't really that camping and tunneling is a thing. The problem is how effective it is.
Turning the game into a 3v1 asap is just too advantagous for the killer.
If it wasen't or there was a benifit to spreading hooks you would see tunneling a lot less
-
Meme builds
Might not be fast in time but if you enjoy yourself the time will fly by
-
I do agree it is rewarded a bit too wel
I think it would be good for the game health if a 3v1 wasen't such a huge swing in the killers favor
-

Killer collisions and survivors collisions are respectively identical for every model. (e.g. Spirit and Clown : same collisions)

I get the idea of don't spoil things but
How are we supposed to not talk about something they showed us 2 months ago when project w was revealed half of dbd already knew it was wesker
And they literally told us what the power was last week buy don't want us talking about it
I'm not talking about it being wesker or the basic principle of his power.
I'm talking about the people who are talking about the things that haven't been officially teased like the perks
-
I have used a couple but i switch builds often
Botany knowledge isn't as bad as i thought it would be. The downside isn't as bad as i thought it was.
MoM is awesome now
Brutal strength is another one which i enjoyed a lot this patch despite it not getting direct changes. That base killer buff helped it a lot
No one left behind is also pretty good if you can make it to the end game
-
Hopefully sooner rather then later
Don't want to spoil myself but some forum members have a lot of trouble with the don't discus leaks thing

Do they feel fresh though? Artist felt like a direct address to the complaints of Trickster and was the direct next original killer after Trickster. Where Trickster was fine at 1v1, his power took the piss, and he had no map pressure, all things that Artist addresses directly through her perks and her power. Artist is just stronger Trickster, I think the Trickster only beats her at camping with main event.
This might be me but artist and trickster don't feel alike at all
Not even slightly
With the exeption of them both being ranged they are completely different in almost every way
A adress to the complaints of a previous killer would be the complete opposite of a copy paste right?
-
I mean kinda obvious right?
It's a lot easier to make something original out of 3 killers then it is out of the 25+ we have now.
Honestly it's amazing how they are still able to make each killers feel fresh
-
Who wants to bet that this is a person who already had 1000+ hours of entertainment out of this "waste of money"
-
The bunny outfit also is technically pay to lose cause you stick out over some loops you normally wouldn't.
Several Spirit hair are technically pay to win cause she is a lot shorter with her hair down
Same with huntress, some mask stick over loops more then others do
I don't think they should limit themself because of that

I played LoL for years. Disabling things was very rare and often lasted less than a week. Here it can last more than a month.
No idea about Fortnite.
LoL also has quite a larger team then DbD does

If you don't run into any boons while it's equiped doesn't it mean it's doing an amazing job?
Best antiboon perk ever is what i'm hearing

Everything was always there. You always to set up the Boon, you had to run to it, you then had to actually heal. Nothing is changed except it now takes 2 Perk slots
Also 5 perk slots
Old CoH was 16 second heal for everybody with just CoH
For the new CoH to have 16 second heal for everybody you would need one CoH and 4 Bot on everybody
-
I find this a very strange statement
Say you hooked a survivor and 30 seconds later downed another one.
With the new one you can hook them immediatly and have 1 minute of DMS in total.
With old one you could leave them slugged for 15 seconds and have DmS for 1 minute and a half.
I think that if you are downing survivors so fast that the new one is better you would have won easilly with the old one too so the "buff" is a moot point
-
Imagine playing boardgames with friends. You set everything up and arrange dates with everyone and then halfway through the game one friend quits cause they got unlucky with a diceroll and the game has to stop for everyone.
Couple of weeks later you gather the group again and that same friend quits again cause someone got a lucky card draw.
Sorry but if that happens that person is banned from my table. And i would leave them with the advice that if they hate losing to rng they need to listen to what their mind is telling them and quit signing up for rng games
Online games are no different
Your friends have every right to think the game is too killer sided now but if that is causing them to DC frequently they need to take the hint and stop playing.
They signed a contract that they accept this game can change at anytime and it is impossible to make a game that suits everyone
The devs can only make the game they invission and it's up to the players to determine if it's for them or not
So sorry but DCers are 100% to blame for them dcing. If they find the game so unenjoyable that they often have to quit halfway then they need to do themself and everyone else a favor and find something else
-

Everything was always there. You always to set up the Boon, you had to run to it, you then had to actually heal. Nothing is changed except it now takes 2 Perk slots
The base game has changed a lot too. It's all connected
You can't really say that 16 second heal CoH with one perk slot and 80 second gens, more on hit speed boost, less killer recovery time and old DH to back you up if the killer decided to chase you down instantly is the same as 16 heal CoH with 2 perk slots and none of those things.
It's undeniably still strong. You might be right about it being to strong, time will tell
But saying the only difference is a extra perk slot isn't correct
