21 times in a row? All I can say there is that you're the common denominator.
-
This. It happens both ways. Survivors get wrecked and slugged? Whaaambulance inbound and accusations of not playing far. Killers get ran because more than two people looked at him or her hard? Whaaambulance inbound and SWF accusations.
-
Nothing but Blights and Spirits running meta perks? Maybe you should stop running meta perks and tank a few matches.
Just a thought, since rank (and MMR as well) mean nothing. MMR just puts you with people who play like you.

Noed activates when 5 gens are done, not in EGC
And I think u missed my point, if the killer doesn't have noed then basically that was wasted time (and probably u killed ur team by doing the bones)
This happens a lot to me, I do the bones and my team gets killed, then i search for hatch and guess what: he didn't had noed
It's only wasted if you call it wasted.

If the killer didn't had noed, what were u searching for?
How did you know if he had NOED or not until someone eats it during the EGC?

If u dont get the pig thing out of your head you're 100% gonna die.
If u do totems u might get ur team killed and the killer might not even have noed. So basically u died like a stupid usseles survivor running around doing nothing
Searching for NOED is not doing nothing.

Not nearly as consistent as Meyers. You're comparing apples to grapes at this point to justify this addon.
Unlike Shape, Pig doesn't have control over whether or not the survivor escapes her trap. It's quite easy to do actually compared to a tier 3 Meyers.
consistency doesn't change that it is an instakill mechanic.

And you're facing bad survivors. No Survivor worth their salt will go in the same direction while being bodyblocked UNLESS they intend to get the speedboost from the Hit to make it to a super safe area, that's the only logical scenario where you'd let Wraith get a hit during a chase. I've played Wraith pre changes, post changes, pre MMR tests, post MMR tests and guess what he only worked against bad survivors. 1 whole month playing Wraith on PC account, cause i don't have that much DLC on PC, and before the 3rd MMR test i was getting 4k consistantly, why? because i was facing bad Survivors. when the MMR tests came it didn't work anymore, i could get maybe 3 hooks an entire match...Wraith is not viable against good survivors, SWF or SOLO. Wraith is like a Call of Duty Pubstomper, it's works in public matches where the average skill level is quite low and when the skill level is higher the killer borks just like PubStompers bork when facing actual pro players.
Ok you're right. Just hold W I can't do anything 🤡

No he can't, he slows down massively while uncloacking, change your direction and he is forced to stay in cloack to catch up. Do you people really need a tutorial on how to Shift W? You know Survivors can cut corners faster than killers and vault faster than killers right? Don't mindgame a vault, just vault it and keep holding W to the next loop. Throw the pallet down early don't stop and camp it, Wraith will 50/50 you and it's your fault if you get hit. Minutes ago i just saw a so called Wraith Pro waste ######### ton of time not catching up to Shift W'ers Kate and Feng...Wraith can't do ######### while cloacked and he sucks ass when uncloacked, he's just an M1 killer. How people keep dying to Wraith is a literal mystery to me.
You're talking to somebody who has 500 hours on Wraith, and regularly uses the body block tactic to stop chases.
-
Dead Hard, Iron Will, Adrenaline, Spine Chill.

So don't heal, let them hit you and when they go away go back and slam that gen.... Stop camping pallets, as long as he is invis he can't attack, just make him waste time and don't give him 50/50 opportunities.... Shift W is literally as EZ as Shift + W and Wraith can't do anything about it.
He can swoop in front of you and bodyblock while unstealthing.
-
Wraith doesn't have a base kit instadown or instakill mechanic. Maybe that's relevant 🤔

You are misunderstanding the point, they are funtionally the same, but it's all there is to it. With the RBT, the time you spend searching the box is put so that you don't die from it at the end of the timer. In NOED case, you can spend the time to cleanse all totem just to discover that the killer didn't have NOED, you could, in a sense, say that all this time was "wasted".
Hypothetically, if the RBT got changed into: The timer starts after gens are done only if the killer put an new iridescent addon, i can assure you way less player would search for it immediatly, and just like NOED they would wait for it before searching.
What i'm want other to understand is that, in some cases thinking "just do bones" could be more harmfull than not doing any. But whatever we think, in the end it just come down to the player wanting, or not, to take a risk with facing NOED.
Also I'm talking about the pre-endgame when you don't know if NOED will be in play. If the gens are done and NOED is confirmed then there is no right answer, it will change with eachmatch situation.
I think it just comes down to the balance of gens vs pips. Bones are BP and count towards objective, which is something I cannot blame someone for wanting to do. I'm guilty of sem-regularly bringing a pink map with retardant jelly and crystal bead with detective's hunch.

@Deferlo said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2475263#Comment_2475263
Exactly, doing all totems without even knowing if the killer has NOED or an hex perk. Just the cleansing time alone is 70 sec for all totem if you add the search and travel time even with a op map or dectective hunch means that you could have done than an entire gen or more by the time all totems gets done, in a balanced match it might be time that you can't afford.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2475287#Comment_2475287
By pig key i assume you are talking about the reverse bear trap, so correct me if i'm wrong.
The difference is, you stop doing gen and start searching for the key because you know you have the RBT and that sooner or later it will activate and kill you, but you don't know if the killer have NOED until it activate which could make you lose a lot of cleansing time for maybe nothing.
NOED is the same type of risk/reward that some killer are willing to do while slugging, trying for DS, if you are willing to take the risk, rush gens, if not, cleanse totem.
You’re still not doing gens, and it’s functionally the same.

Look, another one who blatantly ignores the realistic situation of DbD and pretends that it's better to kill your entire team than leave a single person to die.
So is it ok to stop doing gens and find a Pig key?
-
@MadLordJack said:
Fun fact: Trying to cleanse all 5 dull totems is literally one of the stupidest things anyone can do in DbD while still pretending to be helpful. Everyone encouraging survivors to "just do bones" is being extremely deceitul and probably doesn't even use NOED, because it's common knowledge just how much stronger wasting that much time is.
Everyone discouraging you to do bones is clearly unaware of the situation. That's literally how you get rid of the perk. lmao it's no different than having to stop doing gens to do pig key searches.
-
Over half of my game time is on one killer. I'm not gonna put him down. lol.

How is it not fishy that when the DC happens, OP is stood completely still and then the spirit turns, looks directly at them (you can see it on kindred) and IMMEDIATELY phases to their exact location
It's not like they guessed, they literally appeared right on top of them
How is it fishy that they used their ears?

I don't understand why it is a problem.
There is no race to get the highest MMR... If you have higher MMR only because of better perk choice, stronger add-ons or items, so be it. That's your playstyle.
Let me know why you think it is a problem... even Otzdarva didn't really explain why it is a problem.
I also don't understand why this is a problem. If they really are being carried by addons or items, they'll eventually run out of their carry potential and fall off, right?

You can’t on indoor maps or when there’s LOS blockers.
You absolutely can still look for the red stain and listen for the terror radius. It's not Wraith's fault you chose to sit in a corner and got body blocked when he unstealthed in the next room.
-
I didn't see anything fishy here. When she was phase shifting, you were the only one not sprinting everywhere. By the way, survivors do make general breathing sounds, which the Spirit can listen to.
-
How about you watch your surroundings more? Wraith doesn't need a nerf because of your inability to swing your mouse.
-
Well, as a Wraith main, I find it hard to not do anything survivors find frustrating. No, I can’t control that my “proxy camping” range is like 15x bigger than everyone else’s because of my move speed. Relatively, I’m not ignoring a free second down. I can’t control that people are predictable, or that survivors can’t handle un/restealth fake outs and mind games, just like I can’t control getting highly coordinated SWFs that force me to camp so I don’t have a 3 minute game and no kills, but somehow stopping that is camping and tunneling.
At the end of the day, be mad. I’m here for my enjoyment, and I’ve given up playing “fair” because the definition changes literally from game to game.
[edit]
Sometimes the definition change swings wildly, too. Like I've had groups that bring maps complain that I don't use hexes.
-
Sounds like e it's working as intended
-
I'll just play the unranked mode as a sweaty killer and still get what I want.

I haven't played on it as Wraith, when I faced one on it we got a 4man escape with 6 hooks total. Pyramid Head is very good in chases on it but if survivors split up across the map you cannot defend every gen. I've won and lost on it as him, and most of the wins were survivors hardcore throwing by not knowing I could hit them through a wall.
It's a garbage map for Legion, Doctor does okay, Nemesis is only okay because of Zombies but even then that's completely RNG dependant, but Hag I will give you.
Now for other killers, it's meh for Trapper, awful for Billy, awful for Nurse, almost meh but bad for Myers, awful for Huntress, awful for Bubba, not bad for Freddy, very meh for Pig but her traps are pretty good on that map, awful for Clown, Spirit's only bad map, awful for Plague, meh for Ghostface, actually kinda decent for Demo, awful for Oni, very hit or miss on Slinger, awful for Blight, meh for Twins, and hit or miss for Trickster.
Wraith still needs to know the map very well, just like survivors, but because of the insane move speed he can cover a lot of ground. Since everything is set up like a maze, he can gather a lot of data off just audio.
Completely ignoring if he has xray vision or generator auras. It's still dependent on how well the survivors run him, absolutely; it's still Wraith. Burt he can very heavily take advantage of the compact and stacked layout.
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
Because the map is absolute garbagefire for both sides and should really be thanosed?
While I don't advocate doing this for forum rules sakes, I can't actually find it in myself to blame them, either.
Garbage for both sides? It's one of Wraith's best maps. Doctor, Hag, Legion, PH, Nemesis... There's a lot.

What would you have preferred Nemesis' kit be?
-
imo they should slow survivors drastically but increase the cooldown on Nemesis' punch if the tentacle lands. That way he's rewarded, they don't go very far, and they're not getting chained hard, like they do now.

Dude at this point just google licensing you're either baiting a reaction or you actually are just dull to the reality of licensing and copyrighted content I am moving on as all you can say is the same thing 20 times with no actual valid points good luck to you and hope you educate yourself as knowledge is power.
License agreements are literally that. Nothing so far that you have typed, or linked, has explained that Netflix will have control over the actual DBD balancing. All you've shown me is an out of context snippet stating "license holders have final say."
-
@MonsterInMyMind said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2440354#Comment_2440354
It is identical when the License Holders own the rights to anything involving the character now more than ever Behavior is limited to what they can do unless there is an agreement behind the scenes which we can't say there Is or Isn't at the moment as Behavior is busy being silent but you act as if Behavior was given full rights to the character which isn't at all how licensing works. You can license something it doesn't make any of the content your own and because of this Netflix is still allowed to decide how Demogorgon is in the game Dead by Daylight and with the License being dropped Behavior possibly doesn't have control over anything less than making sure he works in the game and isn't bugged as it's simple and he even said that in the video. Balancing is possible, If Netflix agrees to the changes, but any changes still have to be submitted to Netflix and approved again, google how licensing works.
While I understand It's frustrating It's fact hardcore facts and the nightmares of licensing content that isn't your own thats the exact point you don't own it Mcote explained it easily how it works if you can't grasp that I don't know what else to tell you other than do some reading and learning the law's around Licensing and Copyrighted Content It's very clear you lack the understanding in this area.
None of that paragraph explains how Netflix will control the Dead by Daylight balancing for Demogorgon. Just your opinion on how you think it will go.
Please show me the contract, or where somebody has stated that Netflix will control the balancing.

He just told you how it works; they have the final word over everything involving the IP; don't believe google how licensing works; again, you can't disprove what's been said. You're still beating a dead horse.
"They have the final word" is not identical to "Netflix has control over the balancing of The Demogorgon."
I guess he didn't say that Netflix is in control of the balancing of The Demogorgon, and so we don't have to worry about balancing changes in the future.

You didn't hear this man just discuss how licensing works for characters like Demogorgon, seriously, you come off like you want to argue over something you're clearly wrong about. This applies to all licenses. This includes the Netflix one again you seem you just want to argue over hearing the facts.
You didn't hear my question. I asked for where Netflix would be in control of his balancing. You're linking me to a general discussion of IP agreements that does not discuss Netflix being in control of Demogorgon's balancing within Dead by Daylight.
Please link me to where Cote stated (or Netflix stated) that Netflix would be in control of Demogorgon's balancing.

"Final word is always with the License Holders" This applies to anything involving their character, a simple google search, and you'd know this so instead of coming aggressive next time come level headed and not disrespectful because now you look bad.
This livestream does not say that the Demodoggo will be restricted to what Netflix has in mind for Dead by Daylight's balancing of the killer. Please link me to where Cote said the Demogrogon's balancing will be controlled by Netflix and discussed their contract with Netflix over the IP. I can't find it on Google, and that was what I was discussing earlier.

That's not how licensing works the license holders still reserve the right to confirm or deny changes and that's exactly what is happening with all licenses they can't make changes without Netflix's permission going forward.
Show me the contract. 🤡
-
@MonsterInMyMind said:
Bug wise yes but any changes like buffs or nerfs absolutely not.
I'm confident (but only like, mid-70% ish) that the contract only guaranteed the name, likeness, and lore. If they were to make any changes at all, what would be barred is the actual base kit and how it operates, not the actual numbers attached to it.

As a hard Wraith main, I don't think the coxcombed clapper is all that great. Yeah it makes for some pretty easy setups, but IMO the bone clapper is just as good, which is a yellow. Pair any with The Ghost, which is a brown, and you can do some super fun approaches 🙃

Yeah. Agree on that. It should be context related and something -if used incorrectly- be reportable. But in almost all cases the term would be used for the game-related meaning..
just wanted to make you aware that this might be the reason why this term is getting censored, maybe they used a list of words where this was (rightfully) included
"rightfully" is entirely objective, so let's try not to push that conversation.

I agree we shouldn’t go deeper into it here. But this is definitely real and actually dangerous for the victims (think about diseases).
I still think this is a perfect example of overreach on the chat censor. That's the kind of thing that should just be reported, since it actually has a definition related to DBD outside of the thing. Stealthing is literally "the current" for "stealth" when used as a verb, which is what survivors with Distortion, Urban Evasion, Spine Chill and Iron Will are doing.

@Mooks said:
„Stealthing“ is actually a word with a whole other meaning which is practically a form or #########/abuse. So in this case maybe the censoring might be intentional.
That actually sounds made up.

Googled it. I cannot take the sources seriously. I can leave the comment at that, I am not getting into it on the DBD forums.
