DC penalty needs a fix
I was playing a match and my internet cuts out and for some reason it gives me a dc penalty maybe it should you realize when someone dced and when someone got kicked.

I think it should be randomized. Someone gets the 1 hour ban & then another gets 15 minutes. Adds a bit of excitement
Your internet cut out, you disconnected, that’s all it can recognise.
Back in the day people DC'ed by literally pulling the cable. The system can't recognize whether the connection was broken intentionally or not. They should just remove the DC penalty whatsoever, since it's not a competitive game.

It is your internet that cut out, so you're the one that should cop the punishment.
It's a five minute penalty. By the time your connection comes back, it'll probably be over.
If your internet cuts out frequently enough for this to be a recurring problem and the penalty builds up, then maybe you should stick to offline games. Each time it happens, you're ruining the match for the other four players. That shouldn't be permitted to continue.
It's a Player vs Player game. By definition it is competitive.
The DC penalty is the only thing stopping cry babies from rage quitting the match (ruining it for everyone else in the process) the moment it stops going their way. It is a good system, and needs to be harsher in my opinion.
There wasn't one earlier this year and it was hell on earth
Every other game was a forced depip because manchildren can't handle being downed first
Might be the killer dc'ed and you got the penalty. Happens to me all the time. My internet is up and fine but the game freezes and then I get a 1 hour penalty. I never dc and I hate the penalty. It should never be an hour, 15 minutes max.
Give a 3-DC leeway. Apply a 5-min ban upon first DC and continue to apply an additional 5-min per DC and get rid of the bonkers system that's in place now which increases wildly beyond exponentially. Require a 24-hr period starting at the end of the latest DC's penalty to reset the ban increases and wash your hands of the whole ordeal.
