My dyslexia has once again beaten me. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE SAYING.
that I am personally confused on if you are brutal as Slayer tries to be or if you're just a giant depresso espresso based off needing confirmation so strongly that you want it from a video game that centers it's main focus around the second most negative aspect you can possibly be in.
-
imagine needing outside influence to look forward to that you need it in a SURVIVAL HORROR game that's built around MAXIMUM PHYSICAL PAIN.
Not sure if OP is metal af or just giant sad. As an open gay myself I'm fine with it how it is tbh.

No clearly you have a reading issue. The devs put in a press start, press Y function to quit the game that becomes a DC that opens the hatch. You get no points and lose your item to give up the hatch. It is 100% a strategy that was put there by the devs into the console UI. Police did not create a gas pedal, auto manufacturers did along with their design team. The design team here is attempting to be the police and punish for a design they placed into the game. What other function is pressing start and pressing Y for to quit if not for to quit? ๐ ๐ ๐
All I'm hearing is you trying to justify having a quit button when you can literally just turn the console off and quit anyway. For all we know Microsoft has rules that require being able to disconnect for the end user, and behavior doesn't want it there.
Leaving is not a game mechanic, and sorry you seem to think it is.

Survivors aren't here for your experience either. Console has press start and press Y to quit and leave the game. If the devs didn't want dcs they wouldn't have literally built it in. The first time I'm penalized for what the devs built into the game I'm taking my complaints straight to Microsoft to have the Dev equally punished ๐
They literally cannot prevent DCs. Power outages will always trump software under all conditions if the hardware gets physically turned off. So what you're telling me is the equivalent of "If law enforcement didn't want us going too fast on the autobahn they'd remove our gas pedals." Or "If they didn't want us to unsafely exit they'd remove the exits so we can't unsafely exit."

Why would you say something stupid like that, the survivors can say they are not here for your experience aswell and you don't see why that's the problem, they see dc'ing as a win for the team any way needed and killers see slugging as any way needed that's why none of its ever gonna change
I didn't say they weren't allowed to play how I disapproved of, did I? Please feel free to quote where I did. In a twist of fate, though, as luck has it, I play Wraith and tunnel people hard until they quit. Or die.
I'm fine with either and find ragequitting hilarious. It means I did it right :>
-[edit 15 minutes later]-
Also, to me it absolutely is not a problem for survivors to not cater to me as the killer. They're there for each other, and I'm there to f--- up their day. Straight up. Why would I be nice to them? lol

I didnt say they dont want us to slug. I meant that I think they didnt want us to slug in the egc for the 4K. Its more of an egc thing than a slugging thing imo
No no I get you. I'm also saying if they didn't want us to slug they would disable it. Such as EGC they'd probably punish the killer for doing it, or make the survivor die faster, etc. etc.
So far, they've done nothing of the sort. Relatively, I'll continue to slug for my 4ks.

I think only because you can use certain mechanics of the game doesnt make it intended or ok. Sure slugging is a strategy and intended also in regards to the perks. But in terms of the endgame I think slugging for 4K is not what the devs wanted. Same for 99% the gates. They wanted to reduce the time of the endgame with the collapse. But with slugging or 99-ing it makes egc kinda unimportant. I would like to see some changes in the egc so we dont have to argue about dc for hatch or slugging for 4k.
If they didn't want us slugging they'd disable it under certain conditions.
Basically, the old argument of "If they didn't want us doing it they wouldn't let us do it."

Well good for them. I support the work around. Being slugged is remarkably dull. There is zero reason to put up with it. I don't feel for you here and nothing you say can change that. Sluggers are the worst and they deserve nothing.
Don't make it easy for me to slug you then, because to be 100%, as the killer I am NOT here for your experience. I am here for mine. If I was here for yours I'd be on your team as a survivor with you, and I'm playing to win.
Be mad, I'll live. :>

I'm not telling you what words to use. You have freedom of speech. But even on here, there are limits- there are rules.
Instead of attacking me or directing me to stop and give you a safe space (there's a lot of irony in some of your posts here), I'd love to hear more about what you're trying to communicate. So far it seems to me you're saying it's okay to use slurs because you think some people deserve to be called them if they fit an abstract definition? I'm sure I'm missing something you're saying, so please explain a bit more.
It's almost like you can't tell me it's a slur because it's offensive to people, but since I'm part of that group you still feel some overwhelming need to be right.
I'm gonna let you sit in suspense while I watch some Wraith play. bbl~

You're getting a bit away from the point here, but also adding to what I'm saying.
In the real world, if someone uses a slur against someone, it can be grounds for different consequences. You seem to agree with this?
Someone here is starting to sound quite totalitarian. Please stop.
USE MY WORDS OR SUFFER LMAO KLMAO

Try using that as a defense in the real world and see how far it gets you. Slurs are slurs- that is how the vast majority of the English speaking world sees this. You can bury your head in the sand and be sorry or not sorry, but on this topic, you're clearly wrong. It's okay- these things can be tricky.
In the end, the answer is simple: be kind. Avoid words that aren't kind.
I do use that defense in the real world, because it's true. I'm literally protected legally by the first amendment in the real world. I'm not protected by repercussions of people who are mad at it's use, but that's frankly half the reason to use the word; for the value you get out of it.

The south park episode "The F Word" was a great one for the issue of saying stuff like that.
It's only in recent times that the word has even meant anything to do with being gay, so if it's used as a colloquialism for "bad" basically, I, as a gay person, don't really give a #########. It comes off more as "I'm frustrated and hate you" to me than "Your sexuality is a bad thing."
That's basically how I look at it. "You're doing something I consider annoying and that word sums up my feelings faster than explaining them." Relatively, "If you don't like being called that word, stop behaving in a way that makes people want to use that word."

There's really not another interpretation for the word the OP is expressing other than a bundle of sticks, which... let's be real... nobody is using it to mean that.
You mean an interpretation you're willing to accept. YOUR lexicon is not the dictionary defining the rest of the world.
Sorry not sorry.
