They should:
- Increase his Stalk range.
- Increase the Tier 3 duration.
- Increase the Strike maximum range.
- Remove some of the many warning sounds, and merge some together.
And that is just the minimum.
-
Both of them are really underrated.
Surveillance gives you perfect info to interrupt survivors.
And Oppression is great if you have several gens regressing, even better with Overcharge if you like barraging survivors with Skill Checks.
-
The problem is, that DbD bots are rock solid stupid and completely unpredictable in a sense you don't know what part will implode when.
-
Because it's more like Artist's crows and Unknown's UVX, or their predecessor to be exact.
An effect that makes you vulnerable to the next hit.
Although it would be nice to have some extra effects for it,ngl.

Its not, the thing that has slowly been killing this game is MMR.
MMR introduced an idea of "as i win games, i start playing against people who win games more often" so you are basically punished for winning in a sense. And this is in a game where you get no reward for that MMR, there's no ranking system, no leaderboards, or anything.
So it becomes a sweat fest. Because if i don't sweat, then i get stomped on and the game is boring. Thus creating a perpetual cytcle of everyone playing their best. And that results in both sides exploiting the biggest BS they have access to right now.
What the game needs is a proper ranked mode, that has ranks and leaderboards and the like. That way the sweats get want, and the casuals get what they want.
While a Ranked mode with rewards an so on would maybe work, there will never be a fully casual mode.
Because people will always want easy matches and get into "casual" mode to tryhard.
Just saying.
-
Dbd 2 would be the end of most players who have at least some financial restrictions.
I would NOT rebuy this game. Not even talking about DLCs.
What BHVR needs to do is stop churning out chapters like there's no tomorrow. Spread them out. You have time to fix bugs in-between them.
-
This would be ideal, but I have a hunch that the game would break into pieces if the devs tried this.
-
Some accesibility settings would be great.
The mentioned skill check warnings, maybe the old colors of rarities as a setting for colorblind people, custom settings for aura colors...
-
I am very sorry that you are denied access because of all the stuff that happened.
If I had the guess, I would assume the restrictions would rise once the war is over.

This is the only type of killer that is palatable to the community, so it's what we're getting.
I really hope they will give us another design preview for this purpose.
From the last one, I liked the Global power, but the dash+EMP dart seems awfully similar to Krasue.
-
+1, I can confirm this IS a thing.
-
I say, wait for it, don't rush it.
If they rush it, you will get another dashslop killer.
-
I feel like the double downside of Exhaustion AND it being usable only twice (unless you get StB involved but that is a rare case) is kind of overly strict, but whatever.

Reversed Stalk range bonus returning would be nice too...🙏
True.
-
I agree that he needs a buff.
I would do this:
- Revert Evil Incarnate's duration to 60 seconds.
- Revert Stalking range to 40 meters.
- Increase the amount of Stalk Points needed for Evil Incarnate to 7.
- Increase the maximum bonus dash range to 1,2 extra seconds (or more)
- Remove the sound that plays once the Stalk meter is full.
- Delay the stalking warning sound to at least 75% of the Stalk Meter.
And two not necessary, but nice to have things:
- Reduce the cooldown between dashes.
- Reduce his Evil Incarnate TR to 32 meters.
-
Did Kate really never get a single Rift Skin?
Seems unlikely, but what do I know.

What are survivors supposed to use to keep themselves alive? First its shrink maps now this?
You cannot tell me with 100% honesty that Crotus Prenn and Suffocation Pit needed more pallets.
Haddonfield, Borgo, Coldwind, sure. Haddonfield still needs a size increase.
But Macmillan and Crotus Prenn should not have a milion pallets.
-
More like they missed a deadline.
Which is weird considering that, you know, the last rift could be extended to the end of the month and nobody would be mad.
It's odd that they didn't throw a glittery robe on say, Plague's or Artist's already existing skin and called it a day.
It also couldn't have been an attempt to monetize more, since even the paid track is pitiful.

Well, had a quick glance on the new rift yesterday and was happy it's awful - I won't have time to play anytime soon, so no FOMO here. And sorry for us all guys, this rift is a joke..
Yeah, they achieved a no FOMO rift… by making it not worth buying at all.
-
I would completely rework it.
Make is so all gens are shown to you every time you use the map (or maybe at all times even) and their progression is shown based on the intensity of the auras.
T.L.D.R: Make it like Wraith's All Seeing Spirit or Springtraps Bonnie's Guitar.
-
I would like it.

Many times have I come here to complain about Ascended charms not being animated when they should be.
But I will also come back here whenever they release one that is.https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/LF96CXAMUSJ8/20251007174939-1.jpg
Thank you once again, BHVR 😍! On to the next one.
At least this part of the rift is alright.
-
Looks like it, since they are not part of the Deep Rift.
That would at least be a single good thing about this whole ordeal.
-
They completely removed the recolors of cosmetics that already exist.
There were 5 in the Overgrowth Rift.
There are 0 in this one.
-
It looks like instead of changing them, they added more weekly quests to compensate.
-
Ooh, so it is a bug.
I was thinking they removed them lol.

Its the plant rift all over again. Where you look through the whoooooole thing and go "there isnt even 1 thing i like"
And it's even worse, since you only have half of the usual amount to choose from.

Krasue is dead now. Don't worry, you'll be seeing a lot more stronger killers.
Thanks for making the game dull again by incessant complaining.
She is very far from dead.
All the changes did was remove the obviously busted tunneling potential and slightly slow her down.
-
I really hope this is an exception and not the norm.
-
I suggest all if you choose with your wallet...
And avoid buying this cheap monstrosity.
-
As Jay_Whyask said.
Predrop, prerun when you hear him, and pay attention to the million warning sounds he has.
He has no means to catch up if you run the moment you hear his 40 meter Tier 3 TR.
-
Flop, more like.
It completely lacks the recolors of existsing outfits, which, come on, couldn't they give a shiny cosmetic to a random survivor? Is this style THAT hard to apply to existing outfits?
Also, we may have got less banners, charms and badges than last time.

https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/458162/twins-are-extremely-underrated
The Twins is a really strong killer (at their best top 10/A+ tier alongside Billy or Ghoul). Victor is one of the best killer powers in the entire game since it has good anti-loop and map mobility. The Twins also have the unique counterplay that survivors should stay together which is unusual and difficult to manage in SoloQ. Also, once everyone is injured, a slug is an easy win and there are not many good counter perks in your average match while they often ignore survivor hook-advantages.
However, Twins are well known for being always buggy and survivors can hold Victor hostage for a very long time and not many players are okay with "the survivor have control over your power" and your power has a long cooldown. Many players also don't like to slug and if they want to slug, they might like Billy or Oni more for different reasons. Their addons are also rather simple and uninspired while perk-wise, they have a limited pool and not many perks have a unique synergy with them. Many exposing, Undetectable, aura reading, and Oblivious perks don't work on them well while you don't need chase, kicking, or similar perks since most of the time, you control Victor - to compare it: range killers love aura reading perks, many M1 killers love exposing or chase perks and Undetectable or Oblivious perks are usable on many killers with a few exceptions. Lastly, they never get any good skins and you can be happy if you get one cosmetic piece per year. I also don't wanna be that guy but appearance-wise, people rather like Trickster, Skull Merchant, or Oni. Her appearance also makes it a bit difficult to create cool cosmetics for them - Trickster or Skull Merchant have this typical "nice" body with a modern lore, so nearly everything fits for them.
Overall, unusual gameplay, being known for always bugged, no cosmetics, and limited pool of variety or builds are the reasons why no one plays Twins despite being a strong killer.
I guess so.
The bug rumors are not relly true at all tho. Aside the odd colision here and there, I saw pretty much just one bug and that was fixed the very next patch.
You are right about the add-ons, tho. There are 6 worth running and nothing else.

Yeah it's painfully empty. I have to believe something went wrong internally and some deadlines couldn't be met or something, because if this was an intentional decision then it's very insulting.
It may be true.
I would understand if they only emptied out the free track (so you have more fomo, incentive to buy the paid rift, ect.)
But the fact that half of the paid rift is empty SCREAMS that something happened.
-
They really dropped the ball here with the whole rift.
Milestones removed (which, come on, they were eh, but not removal-worthy!)
Recolors starting at half of the PAID rift (couldn't you just add some stained-glass effect on a cosmetic for anyone else?
Nothing in the free rift except the community stuff we'd get anyway (AND Dredge is pay-to-lose)
-
@TBUK said:
Laziest premium rift yet, 3 of 4 survivor outfits are just terrible looking for the survivors, a 'ok' spirit one and a good trick one that looks like some effort went into it, then we get a full set of recolours before level 70… sad state of this game.
And the laziest free rift too.
They really couldn't put some glitter and refletive stuff on a base cosmetic for idk, Plague for example?
-
The worst part is how little there is.
6 original skins, not even any recolored old skins, and 2 community skins, one of which is unplayable.
Every other rift had at least double of that.
-
The free rift has 2 skins.
The PAID rift is 6 skins and bunch of recolors.
Milestones are gone, not sure if it's good or bad.
All in all, not really worth anything, is it?
-
Lol, now there are no milestones at all.
So that solves it I guess?
We also got more weeks of Weeklies.

@CatManThree said:
The Twins have a reputation for being really solid and powerful killers despite being so underplayed.
I think a lot of it is just most players being drawn to the base visual designs and relatively uncomplicated powers of other killers. Sorta like the issue with Hag.Probably.
-
One thing you said is correct.
Specific Map Offerings are very sparse. You get 1 per prestige.
I would like a refund system to be implemented, so you get them back if they end up doing nothing, with Sac Ward denying this and burning them anyway.
-
Not daily, that was required for the rift itself.
But you were required to pour a large amount of hours into them, for half of the reward they gave initially.
-
Considering that it only works if you do all the gens...
It didn't need a nerf. At the very least they could give it a side effect so it works during the actual match.
-
True.
I like the tome very much, despite the obvious problems (the ableism).
-
I do really think that nerfing the Milestones was the thing that made this rift so awful.
They give you half of the reward for double the work. That is the main problem, they should be either rewarding and grindy or easy and unrewarding.
And the last minute chapter quests and DbD day quests just seem very much like BHVR trying to salvage this situation. Not that they are bad.
I would like it tok if BHVR gave us batches of quests that would take a bit longer, and I would be VERY glad if we got Glyphs back for instance.
-
Artist, Houndmaster and Plague (when they work)
-
Myers:
Give him his old kit back as an option in a form of add-ons (think old Freddy Pallets)
Reduce the amount of information he gives survivors.
Revert the stalk range and Tier 3 nerfs.
-
Even the things they DO add in are often half-baked.
Case in point: anti-afk and anti-go-next.
One was reduced to nothing and other was and still is wildly hated because BHVR added a system that thinks getting killed in 6 seconds because of a cheater = going next.
-
I agree that killers should be viable even without add-ons. That said, which killers are those that are add-on dependant?
Imo, Hag is a good contender, she depends heavily on range add-ons and Rusty Shackles.
New Myers could get 5 of his add-ons basekit imo.
-
I am starting to wonder if blindness might become more viable, but it likely won't.
Some people are not dumb enough to be lost without their run to yellow perk.
