Get past rank 10 mate.
Sorry couldn't hear you past the whining.
-
I play killer - heat that, PLAY killer. You are not entitled to a 4K. Slugging is pathetic as well as camping and they did nothing about that either.
-
Want to get rid of keys? Stop hatch closings, period. The bias is already killer sided.
-
Oh yes, why not auto kill everyone at end game to make it easier for you... it's not like keys appear on bloodweb as often as your pink/purple crap. It's our only chance in end game as killers always find the hatch first since they can see it too early.
-
No change in hitbox garbage, no change in pallet mechanics, no change in unknown errors, lobbies on killer side still took nearly 15 mins and then you have to cross your fingers that no one dc'd during load.
No ability to see the killers name... so I saw MANY dc's during load when the killer offering didn't flip since they couldn't tell who the killer was and didn't trust them to be a dick.
-
Wow, twitter but no where else - these guys really know how to communicate. TY for the answer!
-
If victories are earned and not given, why have the new end game? Immersive survivors are the counter to try hard killers, period. End game was supposed to avoid hatch stand offs which could have been solved other ways.

The idea is to get damage to unlock dead hard.
Heal for 29s just before being fully healed. Then do wtv it is you like doing. If the Killer fond you again, Loop, juke and pallet to your heart content. When he's about to hit you use DH if you don't feel you're going to make it.
If you feel like dodging, try and use a quick Vault to activate lithe and run away. Now heal yourself.
Rince and repeat, there you go you won.
Dead Hard is broken and has been for months. Bet it won't be fixed before the new content comes out either along with dozens of other serious bugs (can't interact with a survivor and heal them, snap them out, etc), Dead Hard, Maps not working, etc.) Left Behind was made useless by the End Game but they're going to address that before the bugs.. Quality is just not the priority at BHVR.

Well, then get ready to be punished Soon™
Yeah, when Pug gets a ban I'll start worrying about it - that guy DC's daily and in other streamer's games - plenty of VOD evidence but do they care? No. They don't have the brains to implement a simple dodge timer which would fix the issue as it does in other games.
-
Or I'll use the Leave Game option on screen.
-
Serious? They can't grab them? I thought they could - maybe during the timer period they should be able to - not sure. Just trying to find some level of balance with End Game - way to tilted toward Killers right now.

FORUM BUG: This thread still appears in the MAPS forum even after being moved to WISHLIST.
Second time I've seen this bug.

@Slaymore Do you work at behaviour ?
No - I fix my own code unlike them. Since you need spoon feeding, try going to the top of the forums and looking for a forum called WISHLIST. See what I mean by obvious now?
If you made it into this area, you went right past it.

No - I'm a software developer that fixes bugs instead of ignores them. Besides, If you go up the to top level of the forums, you might just see a WISHLIST forum. But then again, you seem to need spoon feeding instead of actually looking.

Okay well where do I go for the “wishlist”
Try reading the forum names - pretty obvious.

You do know that a survivor gets to keep his or her item + addons if they survive the trial, right?You know they don't always survive, right? Killer could, and I often see, Franklins. The point is that the NUMBER of pink and purple add-ons is unbalanced when you see all the time.

No. They need to slowdown the gen rush and not make it easier.Killer has plenty of perks for that - I have no issues playing killer with being gen rushed. Heard of Hex Ruin? Thana? You might have to drop one of your crutch perks (Nurse's or BBQ) but there is a way.
-
It's really simple - either remove the aura on survivors already hooked or get rid of aura altogether - no issue with a BP bonus perk for killer as survivors have WFLF.

Have fun in your own bubble, I will leave you alone now
No you won't - people like you feel compelled to post for no reason but to pass judgement. He was whining about blocking every good nurse instead of addressing the point. But you missed that completely - to busy trying to find way to judge others and missed the point.

If you would honor steam bans/blocks then we could simply block those that are toxic and Voila!, problem solved. No more games with that person. Survivors that don't like facecamping killers, solved. Killers that don't like toxic survivors teabagging and endless looping, solved. If you can't manage to honor steam bans/blocks, then implement your own.Yeah yeah block every good nurse such that you can have ez games.
We know where this is going to lead, thats why its not a thing
Says a salty killer. I don't mind being killed if the killer is good and plays by some level of sportsmanship - doesn't camp for example. If they go out of their way to be toxic then yes, I want to ban them. I've had threats from killers who I block on steam - this game should honor those blocks, plain and simple. Even with the poor killers if I die, I just move on to the next game. My post was about removing toxicity - if you think you're going to be banned by every survivor then maybe you should examine how you play.

I don't think BBQ should be nerfed, but countered by:1) playing near to the killer (Aura reading doesn't trigger of you are not at least 40 meters from the hooked mate);
2) using Sole Survivor (when somebody is dead);
3) using Premonition or Spine Chill to hide when the killer is approaching;
4) using speed perks, pallets and vaults to win a chase;
5) being lucky, as the killer focuses on a mate.
Well just about every camping killer uses #1 as an excuse to camp - saying they know others are near. FWIW I assume at my level every killer is using crutch perks (BBQ and Nurses Calling). I know the counters but it doesn't take away from the fact BBQ is 2 perks in 1.
-
aura perks are crutches - plain and simple - I have better games without them. BBQ points perk is enough to entice a killer away from hook - many use it and still camp like idiots who don't know the perks they choose
-
Reposting to this thread - in case devs take a minute to read the forums:
BBQ is really 2 perks (aura and points). W'e're Going To Live Forever only awards points for survivor so why not split that BBQ into 2 perks? Or, remove the aura for those already hooked once.
Also, when only survivors are left, it's a bit OP - possibly remove the aura at that point if the above isn't done.
Most killers SAY they only run it for the points so splitting it, or removing the aura for those hooked once should be acceptable to all.
-
I'll just add one more thing - I see plenty of survivors now just finding the killer and dying on hook very fast - they use their escape attempts and don't struggle in phase 2. Clearly giving up - identical to a DC. So how are they going to police that? I don't trust their 'back-end analytics' when they can't get the game summary totals correct.

Abusable. they did it on OW guess what happened
Blocked every fairly skilled player so they just faced the unskilled one to rank up. Its to abuse in that sense. Before thinking to introduce something you MUST think "how they might abuse this?"
Different games and the devs have only recently tried to fix the killer camping issue (we'll see if it gets abused for deranking killers or not). I have personally been harassed and steam blocked that killer - got them again. So from that point of view they should honor steam bans/blocks. There are plenty of killers and survivors with good sportsmanship to keep your games going even if you block a few.

Morf_UK just DC'd because the killer wanted him to farm - where is his ban? Will they ban a popular streamer? or ignore it because he basically advertises the game.Vinc3ntVega DC's and there is a DBD employee as a moderator in his stream - conflict of interest much? Both Vince and that employee should get bans.
Let's see those bans Devs - fair is fair.
Sure. Their DCs just have to be in the required percentage.
Why? Where is that stated? I hear everyone here saying there should be punishment the second they DC. Then send a message to EVERYONE and ban streamers that do it. Gets the message out pretty damn fast.

@Slaymore I disagree. The large number of DC-s are the single biggest problem this game faces at this point. The argument "they provided this option" is not quite correct. The option is there for cases like, your father getting a heart attack, your character is bugged at start and cannot move or you're just having the diarrhea of a lifetime. Other than these exceptional cases, you should not DC, and it should be punished much more decisively than it is now. Why? Honestly, do you not care about screwing over FOUR other people's games? Because that's what you do when you DC.At no point did I say DC's were not a problem. Stating the large number of DC's being the number one problem is your opinion. Killer DC's have been an issue from day one with survivors losing offerings and they have still done nothing and I've provided them the SIMPLE fix for this. They say it's a server issue but that is not the case as I have detailed to them. I agree a DC screws other peoples games as does AFK, trolls, etc.
But, when you choose the menu option to leave, there should be no arbitrary, behind-the-scenes determination of punishment. Dodge timers are used in many other games and work quite effectively - and you are notified immediately what is going to happen so many may just stay in game instead.

How an Earth do you ban people for using a menu option YOU give them? This is ridiculous and not thought out - the obvious solution used by other games is a dodge timer that escalates based on frequency of the offending action. Some DC if they are face camped in the basement with an insidious killer to prevent that play on survivor teamwork and prevent a slaughter. Simply start with a 30 min dodge timer, escalate to an hour after xx offenses and so on. Reset after a couple days of no issues. FWIW, I have not been banned - but saw this train wreck coming as I know some that have been banned.And while I'm at it - how about a release with ONLY fixes. The net number of bugs, based on the forums, is growing - not declining. So make an attempt at actually fixing instead of making the game worse. There are key perks that don't work (Dead Hard works half the time, many killer perk bugs, Deliverance was poorly implemented, Safe unhooks, etc. etc. It's sloppy - you have abundant UI issues - the store is a mess and shows you have no UI Designer. When a timer ends, the action should be performed - not 1 full second AFTER (menus still don't activate correctly). The Summary screen after match has multiple bugs showing we can't trust your internal math if you can't get the math you show us correct.
Quit in any multiplayre game enough (yes by using the menu option) and you will receive punishment.
But anyway, you would have to DC in like 80% of your matches until devs take action so I assume your "someone" got banned for sth elseAgain, another poster who doesn't read - I never said DC issues weren't a problem, nor did I say they shouldn't be punished. It's the implementation that is pure crap. Dodge timers are proven in other games and work better - the player is given an immediate notification that if they choose to pursue quitting they will be given a timeout - this amount of timeout escalates the more they do it.
Geez, does anyone in these forums READ before posting - nothing but Ready, Fire, Aim.

@ChesterTheMolester said:
Its known for a long time that DC is against the rules and will be punished if abused.You got what you deserved.
You don't read well do you - It didn't happen to me - DC issues are a problem but punishing people for using an AVAILABLE menu option is absurd. Prompt and let them know that leaving the game will result in a timout of 30 minutes (dodge timer).
Otherwise they'll do nothing all game which seems to be endorsed by the devs since one of their employees is a moderator of a streamer which does this routinely as part of their schtick.
Instead of arbitrarily banning - tell people immediately this action will result in x. Killers do nothing all match to delevel and I don't see any bans for that.
-
You can tell those that play killer only - they immediately call survivors salty and cry babies - try playing both sides and getting some perspective. This OP is correct - pallets are out of whack. The vacuum is gone (good) but the pulling hit box mechanic is messed up. In almost every case you can have a stun and survivor hit at the same time.
There used to be posting rules - half the killer comments here should be removed - they are inflammatory and serve no use whatsoever. Just kids with too much time.

@Dabrownman1812That little indicator on the screen is easily and often missed until it's too late. At the very least a sound effect - similar to Shape's exposed status or something on the left side of the screen like when Devour Hope or NOED is triggered. A little indicator on the right is barely noticeable.
you do know they put the same thing they do for noed or devour hope right??????? for MYC they put the same exposed sign with a timer.
No, it's not the same. On those the notification is on the left. With this there is only the icon on the right. If you would actually read what we've been saying you might have picked on that. Left notifications are much more noticeable.
