I thought the “unique skins” they were referring to was just the those secondary outfits we’ve had for forever.

No, those "secondary outfits" are just, well, secondary outfits. People who bought Kate with Shards, for example, have those 2 brown skins of a shirt too.

Oh well now I feel lied to lol. If they did give those skins I don’t feel like they’d be good tbh but I understand that it’s the principle of the matter

The thing is, those skins were in the game before the characters were buyable by Shards, so it is logical when they say "We promise unique skins for people who bought our chapters!" to believe, that they think about new, fine skins, not reskins of already in-game basic, brown skins.

But if they tricked us, and the brown-quality skins is what they "promised"... it is a real ######### motivation to buy chapters, instead of farm them.

Well if they said “unique skins” then they kinda need to do a new design altogether because if they didn’t then it’s not actually unique all. And yea it’s a ######### motivation I agree. Kate’s white shirt you get for buying the dlc isn’t very unique either

This might one of those things they said and then the higher ups told them no but it certainly doesn’t excuse it

I mean if I’ve been informed correctly, bhvr has gone back on things they’ve said multiple times in this game’s history. To me the fact that they needed to say they plan on being more transparent says something to me lol

It is about time to being honest with players, if they do not want to make those skins, they should tell us, not trick.

I posted this question as well - either they give us something of relative value or we need a refund. Their choice for this decision to open everything up to everyone via in-game play.
