Yea no point wasting your cake for a game with 2 cakes max and just to be camped to death/left on hook by teammates.
Unless you are in swf and all of you using them, its wasting

Sadly it wouldn't even take a day for the inherent scumbags to abuse that too, whichever side.
I have never seen a better scene for the phrase "That's why we can't have nice things!" than dbd atm.
Neither side wants to back down to ease up and ultimately discourages even the last of the "nice" people to either join the wheel of doom or quit.

Its the same for me for both sides lol.
However almost noone using cakes in my games but me. Its a sweatfest with no BP gain and its the worst event for me so far.

You just have to remember hooks like we all did before.
Nothing really changed for killer, just got an annoying hook counter which is worthless and cannot be turned off

I only played few survivor games and being camped in basement by rank 1 billy and died with 5k BP
Game after that I was left on hook by my teammates and died like a dog.
I switched to killer and want to farm some BP but every survivor just doing gens and want to get out. Dont care about altruism points, or points in general. People escaping with 12k BP whats the point lol.
After that I played normal games with Oni and actually earned some BP.
And the worst part of it all is that I was only one who used cake every game. I had one game so far with 3 cakes and the rest had 1-2 cakes max. I hate this event so far, no idea why people are sweating like this. I am in red with both sides, not that it matters.
3/10 event for me so far. I hope it gets better in few days

I had one game with 3 cakes and every other game was 1 or 2 cakes. And I used one everytime.
Why even bother using them? God I hate this. Instead of big BP gains, I am just wasting time

I played few games yesterday and it was sweatfest on both sides.

Killer can be looking down to avoid blinding while his character model will look normally.

Being AFK is against the rules but I never heard of anyone being banned for it.
Most survivors normally don't care, they do gens and gtfo however this is cake event now and if you go AFK in 4 cake game, I can see them being mad easily

100k+ just on Steam and at least double on consoles playing now so it looks pretty good

Its just one and once someone takes it, it will respawn somewhere else on the map. How much time it takes is a good question tho

I played the same event last year so I don't mind anymore. You will get that a lot.
For me, 3 and more cakes in a match is enough. You can and you will have some games with only 1 or 2 so be happy for "just" 4 cakes in a single match

Nah Im good farming. I need BP more than anything else. And if survivors are keen to farm I always will. 2hook everyone and let them go.

It always happens. Once offerings are burnt at the start, they are gone forever.
And if someone DC during loading screen, the match us cancelled and all offerings lost

I never used them since its just default head cosmetics with weird halo upon it. But when I play some character and see it, I just pick it up even tho I will not use it ever

The archive challenges with hatch escapes and also to escape while using pink key, doesn't help either.
It shouldn't take long now, just a year or two more for them to nerf keys at some point.

BHVR: We heard you and we will make changes to Noed and Dead Hard.
We will nerf Noed to the ground first since its just a number change.
We will however work on ideas how to change Dead Hard in upcoming 2 to 3 years.

Its a quality of life change not a buff. It also makes it harder suicide on hook since you have to miss 2 skillchecks and not just let go.
Also it saves lives of keyboards and controllers

The BT rework is not a buff, the only instance in which guaranteed BT proc benefits now is against stealth killers, which is highly situational because stealth killers still have terror radius in chase, otherwise the reduced active time is a pretty huge nerf considering the counter to BT is just to wait it out, now that's easier to do.
Its 3 seconds shorter in exchange for it to work in every situation. Its the biggest buff for a perk that was already meta af I have ever seen.
Every stealth killer, insidious campers, freddy dream world and huntress snipes across the map were affected by it.
Running BT now guarantee safe unhook 100% of the time.
Its a buff no matter how you look at it.

Are you telling me that i should break the rules ? Dont forget that teaming and farming are bannable offenses. Also this just wastes time, i 4k with max points easily and way faster than if i would play a farm round, were max points arent even possible without getting endgame hooks because of sacrifice category.
Farming is only reportable if you forcing people into it. If they want to farm with you its ok.
And teaming is when surv and killer work together to kill other survivors which us understandably bannable

Nope. I expect unhooker to protect me, even more so if he didnt had BT.
If I unhook someone and killer is nearby, I will bodyblock for them even to the point letting myself be downed just so they can escape and heal. Its my responsibility to make sure unhook be safe but I can see a lot of people who dont feel that way
