Can you really not do all the flicks / techs that PC can do? I was just getting into Blight but will have to retire him if that’s the case.
You can still do most things that dont require more than 90 degree flicks. While on console blight is slightly weaker, he is still incredibly fun and can do great at high mmr.

Thought it would be cool if Feral Frenzy allowed you to bash through breakable walls without interrupting your movement speed. Just something I thought would be cool to pitch in because Legion is the next killer to be receiving changes.
I think it could work similar to nemesis' tentacle as in you can hit a door/pallet while in feral frenzy, it breaks, you have the cooldown but you can move around

I have one tricked blight since his height got buffed and got to experience most of the states he’s been through. I used to Jflick, I used to scoot surf, but they patched both of these things. As far as I can say, blight is better since jflicks got removed. And I’d recommend you watch LilithOmen and AscensionWho on twitch (even if it’s been a while since ascension took a break).
If you can’t flick due to console limitations, try to go for a hug tech. All you have to do is to simply bump against the object, hug it as tight as possible, look down, and use your second rush. It’s especially effective on cars because of their rectangular shape, and most people don’t expect you to hit those attacks. As for my build, since I usually go against comp players because of mmr, I run BBQ (auras are really useful for info and for the grind), Pop/corrupt because I find ruin to be pretty unreliable against those types of teams. My last perk is Infectious fright, as I often need to slug since i need to apply as much pressure as needed.
For the addons, I pretty much always run Crow/ring for the extra speed of crow and the slugging capability of ring when paired with Infectious Fright.
I know it’ll take you a lot of time to master blight since he’s the hardest killer to learn/master, and being on console doesn’t really help you, but some of my friends, while being on console themselves can hit pretty sick hugs and curves because they mastered him. So while there will always be a gap between controller and M&K, I’m sure you’ll be as good as a PC blight if you just put enough time trying to master him.
Hope you’ll have fun, and be sure to post about your sick hits somewhere like youtube ! Glhf <3
Thanks very much, I've been try to hug tech and didn't know I had to look down. I also just started watching lilith omen and it helps alot being able to see someone's "bump logic" In action. I have a video on YouTube of an 'average' match if you wanna see and maybe give me some more specific tips.

"You can't flick"?
Console Blight's have been able to flick for quite some time now, ever since they buffed controller sensitivity.
We can't flick the same way as pc though. On console, you get a gradual 80 degree turn while on pc you can turn 90 in an instant and get damn near 180 degree flicks

All depends on what's happening. Are they just too far in the shack already ? Or are you having a problem getting stuck in the door ?
I get stuck outside the door and usually can't get in in time unless I use slam duration addons

Not to be a rude but that is probably blight worst add on, in a race with adrenaline vial and placebo tablet. Thanks for trying to help though. I appreciate

I'm actually soon making a tips video on things to do to get better at blight. But I'll give a couple here. And you can also feel free to stop by my stream if you want to get ideas. I play a lot of blight. It's Coty_Baker/ttv
- Mind games and recognizing common loops helps with him. Have you ever noticed that jungle gyms have a wall right next to the window ? You can get a hit 99 times out of 100 here if you rush and bounce off that wall as soon as you know they're about to vault...No flicking needed
- Shack. There's a few ways to get a hit consistently. This first one is my favorite..You're outside and they vault inside. Vault in after them...Vault right back outside as they'll be running to the window..You now have them out of position and can rush/bounce off the door before they can get to the window or pallet. Very few folks recognize in enough time to jump in a locker...No flicking needed...The second one is less consistent and I have no clue if it's doable on controller. But you can hug tech the shack..So basically you'll bounce off a corner and be able to hug the wall and hit them around the corner..This is less consistent because sometimes you'll bounce off the wall you're trying to hug.
LT walls...Try to "tofu tech" and moon walk to the edge. If they double backed towards you enough. You should be able to bounce off the frame of the LT and get a hit
- I hope these help ! These are pretty common tiles and getting downs quick at them can go a long way
These are very helpful, but one thing I find difficult is getting into the shack in time after bouncing off the door frame. Any specific way to do it or should I just experiment to try and get in in time

I certainly think that's fine to start with. I like your thinking with Shadowborn!
I personally use something similar to the "Basic ######### Blight Build" which is Ruin, Tinkerer, Bamboozle and Pop. I can explain my choices, if you like.
I used to run bamboozle instead of shadowborn so i know where you're coming from.
And i think anyone knows why ruin, tinkerer pop lol. I just dont wanna win too much and focus on practicing his power before i get to stupid high mmr
-
@Pulsar said:
I can try.
A good build is essential on Blight. He is good enough that a build will carry you and you will have time to catch your skill up.
You can't flick, you just gotta accept that and play way more heavily into predicting Survivors. It's guesswork, but you can read some people like a book and it feels great.
Do you think Shadowborn, BBQ, Pop and corrupt is a good build?

0 fun on this game currently. Just sweatry tryhards that need win at cost of fun of the game. First 2 games facecamped on first hook.
3rd game I face a Pig. At beggining of game I just approach to say hi by boop the snoot (it was 10 seconds in game). I approach her bending on knees and pointing with finger. This killer attacks me instant, and chase me on a dead zone. 2nd hit, bear trap and bassement. 1 just suicided on hook... This community it´s so toxic....0 sportmanship, 0 honor, 0 fun.....just toxicity. And game desing encourages it.
i dont know why people feel like pigs want to get booped all the time. For you it may happen once in 20 games, but for the pig it happens all the time

I mean, technically speaking, you're not wrong.
Not really since depending on the map and killer, all you are doing is keeping intruders away by force from your property
(trapper, Macmillans Estate)(Spirit, yamaoka residence)(Hillbilly, coldwind farm)

Yeah, downside will work
Also I think blight needs longer power cooldown depending on amount of tokens spent, just like Bubba and Nurse
Thats already a thing, if you use one token your recovery is faster (less stun time) and you end up only needing to wait 2 seconds for 1 token, instead of 10 seconds for 5

Eh. I'll still play her, but it does feel a bit rough for one of the three killers that can reliably pressure a strong SWF team to get nerfed, while the weaker killers received either minor buffs to a few addons, or a defacto nerf in the guise of a QOL fix.
Yeah my bad, i know the game is extremely unbalanced toward survivors in the higher levels, but they way spirit worked made it so even low skill players could beat relatively good players, which caused bad players who are in the spirits lobby feel like there is nothing to do.

You're post did not reflect your comment. Yes the devs have been obsessed with not nerfing spirit.
How would i know of your views on spirit? I made a comment based on your comment.
I find it disrespectful to check other people's accounts in an argument as it distracts from the argument and becomes a personal attacks.
Overall, i apologise for my pettiness, but I stand tall that your comment was simply an extreme exaggeration.
My bad, my fault though

Like I have said, if they are experienced and high level they will be hiding nearby with iron will and will be in a position to be able to flashlight save. you dont need exhaustion perks to flashlight save
if they're that close you should be able to find them and chase them away. If they're not right beside (< 5 metres) you, they do not physically have to time to run infront of you and flashlight save before you can look down. If they are, just spend one second taking them out of position for a free hit or atleast make it so they cant flash you in time.

The only thing that makes a killer fun to play against is winning. Any killer that is easy to beat and doesn't require too much thinking or game skill to do so is fun and balanced.
The people complaining about Spirit never cared about balance. They didn't even try to enjoy having really pay attention to the killer's movements and using what you learned to outplay the killer. They just know that they can't run in circles or in a straight line and win, so they complained. Or maybe their favorite streamer told them Spirit is OP and it's ok to d/c against her.
All I know for sure is: if Spirit is still strong after yet another series of nerfs for her, they'll complain and d/c just like they have all along until she finally gets nerfed into oblivion and is no longer fun to play as.
man shut up. No one finds a match where the killer can do nothing fun

thats if they are unexperienced
no they literally do not physically have the time to run infront of you and get the save unless they have exhaustion perks ready (which they probably already used). Its game mechanics, not related to skill

Thana isnt all that good on Oni because it gives survivors more reasons to heal, which is the opposite to what you want

For survivor play, I'd just like to see things be more suspenseful. Right now I worry about very little when I play survivor. I'd like to see more risk/reward situations.
Maybe suffer from being exposed while saboing a hook or using a flashlight. I do it right, I get a benefit. I screw it up? I go down.
I would love for there to be some sort of risk/reward with vaulting pallets. Either through a perk or just general play. I'd like there to be a chance that when I vault a pallet for it to break and for me to suffer a wound level or something. Back when I played Friday the 13th one of the tensest moments was jumping through a window and wondering just how injured but it I was going to be.
That's why survivor is unfun for me to play, there's just no tension. No suspense. The killer has a giant red flashlight on his chest, so I always know when he's coming. I can screw up a vault and still be fine because I can immediately vault again. Missing skill checks isn't a big deal when I do miss them.
how to ruin the game 101. Just balance things, dont make crappy new mechanics for the sake of being bad

I know it is usually the other way around.

Thoughts and/or stories?
used to be a survivor main, but because of solo q and that all my friends who play dbd live across the globe, i started to main killer and had a lot more fun and less stress. now i only play survivor if i have a friend available, though we prefer to not use comms during match

No, but I expect the perk to dodge a hit like it's meant to. I mean I shouldn't be getting hit the end of a swing anyways.
lunges last just a little longer than dead hard and are just as fast, so if the killer is close enough and times it right, your dead hard i-frames are gone when you're hit

They're misleading and there is 100 posts about "unfair" matchmaking when ash killer plays against iri survivors etc. There is no point of showing them. better replace them with character portrait
i think they're nice since it shows you how long it took them to get to similar mmr to you. Whenever i end a match as killer with a surv in bronze they are usually the best survivor in the match

then you played against some garbage survivors my friend
there is nothing you can really do against it because they dont have time to run infront of you and flashlight. Its simple as that
-
everyone in this game gets triggered too easily.
Survivors got outplayed and killed. The killer's fault.
Killer spent too long in a chase and got 0 kills. Survivor's fault.
Just try and not let it get to you, and if it does, take a break to do something more relaxing
-
@Ussu said:
Yeah I been doing that. Usually I have no issue at all locating most or all survivors in a map. It's just every once in a while this happens. That's why I'm confused
maybe try running the perk "whisperers". if a survivor is within 32 metres of you, the icon will light up, so its easier to find survivors. other than that, play some survivor and try to hide, then when playing killer check those same spots

Hi, can anyone answer whether the tropies for PS5 will ever sync with the PS4 ones?
I have 100% on PS4 but only 23% on PS5. I really dont fancy that grind all over again. Feels real crappy to have 'lost' all that progress after upgrading consoles.
It would be great if anyone has any answers for this. Thanks
you already have all the trophies. if you go to trophies, dbd ps5 and dbd ps4 will have different trophy sections. if you enter the ps4 section all your old trophies will be there

Something with lockers. You enter one and teleport to another, gaining a considerable speed boost after exiting the locker you teleported to.
This is what i originally thought legion would be like. You start as frank, with the other member in 4 lockers around the trial, you can swap minds with them and control one of them once you enter a locker, and if a survivor was infront of locker, you could press M2 so the one in the lockers jumps out and attack them, keeping them in place for 10 seconds and either making healthy to injured or injured to deep wounded. Probabaly weak but i think it could be fun

So... you prevent people from opening exit gates when all 5 generators are done.
Sadly, like BW you ALSO don't have Remember Me (Unless you got it on the shrine). If you had Remember Me, this would help A LOT with this challenge.
But yeah, just keep people from opening exit gates in a match... I assume you can do this before they finish all 5 generators... but if not than just don't let them open the exit gates when they're powered!
Do I need to kill them before they open exit gate? And if yes, can I leave just one survivor to power the last Gen and then kill him?

I watched my brother try to do the challenge that way as well the other day, and I can confirm that it doesn't work if you hook them before the gates open, even if they don't actually die until afterwards.
Try using Blood Warden and wait for the gates to open (or open them yourself if you're near one) and then hook the first guy. With NOED and BW combined, you should be able to get the second fairly easily, and then the challenge should work properly.
Only one tiny prob, I don't have BW nor Freddy, so I'm screwed

@FireHazard said:
You sacrificed 2 Survivors during the EGC with NOED active correct?
Because the EGC doesn't activate unless the hatch is closed or someone opens a gate... so i'm just making sure that you tried doing this by sacrificing 2 Survivors... 2... not 1... and had NOED active during the EGC correct?
Yeah, to be more specific, what I did in the past few matches I remember is "put a survivor in last hook, open the gates before his hook transforms into a skull at the bottom, hooks another dude who dies for being the last alive"
-
No. The only time oni can be faster than 115% without perks is with his demon dash
