tbf looking at the ranks it does look like those 3 purples are in a swf, which makes it easier to rank up.
So similar ranks=swf. Lol dude.
-
He was very frequent on console and there was a point when I was kinda tired of him but now I regret that.
I miss him and I never thought he was op. Lots of good memories versing billy back in the day.
-
Console players bad. Even tho they are better ranked than you kek.
Ever looked in the mirror lately?
-
Dh freezes the game on last gen, lithe too I think.
So I switched dh for sb and it is not bad at all.
-
Hmm I wonder if this will ever change. I have to agree with most voting for safety pip, some games are unfair depips with things out of your control but a lot of things are.
Still I am afraid that it could lead to something bad so I am undecided.
-
Don't worry you are going to hate killers too soon enough.
If you switch to survivor that is.

If I see one dead hard in the game, I begin tunneling hard and sometimes camping&slugging (if I can afford it), just to spite them. Dead hard is one of the most toxic and unfair perks which grants survivors several extra lives per trial for free. To me every dead hard is a spit in the killer's face, and every survivor picking it is doing so to bully the killer. Nothing more satisfying than seeing all those cocky dead hard users getting 4k'd and then wondering "why did you do it?????" in the end-game chat.
Gonna save this copy pasta.
-
If they won't accept just leave. Killers should also kill if survivors won't take the hatch.
-
Knew the proposed solution before I even opened the thread. It is always the same and all the answers will be the same.
Time is a flat circle.
-
Yes.
-
I never do it unless someone was really toxic. And I always move left and right (like a "no" signal) if killer is slugging for 4k to let the other survivor know not to heal me and look for the hatch instead.
Killers can predict that too and leave you to die on the floor while standing on a hatch but theres still gates so maybe the other person can escape.

Thanks, I gotta remember to take a step back every now and then. I tend to play a few hours at a time and I deff should break it up more. Like at first I felt bad because I couldn't give them a longer game, but once they pulled that at the gates I was like oh... well now I'm glad the match only lasted a few min.
It does help. I play on last gen so there is a lot of freezing involved which can cause frustrations even more on top of the toxicity.
Whenever you feel like you are starting to feel bad, taking a break helps a lot.
-
Plot twist. Satan is a good guy.
-
I find it even more strong with sb even tho that probably doesn't make sense to some.
I can get a lot of distance then walk to hide scratchmarks and confuse the killer.
-
I really dislike seeing bm. It makes me feel bad even if it happens to others.
Yesterday we went against piggy and guy was clicking at her for no reason at the gate. She downed him and picked him up somehow. I nodded she nodded back. But after she hooked him she was looking at me being distracted and other girl saved him. Idc what will people think of me but I tried to block him from escaping but couldn't, she didn't hit him cuz he probably got bt. He escaped.
I felt really bad for her. She played nice...
I understand you man. Pvp games are full of toxicity and world in general is not really a nice place imo. How hard is to be respectful to each other right?
Try some other games. Playing sp games can be fun but also you can play some with friends only. I had fun with nioh 2, borderlands 3 recently etc.
-
Yeah we are definitely playing with fire with those fans even if nothing happened for years you never know. Our console could die eventually because of how dbd runs.

I don't usually run DH so I haven't had to adjust to not having it, but even I know how useful it is when it works and gives that little bit of distance in a chase.
What I don't appreciate is hearing Twitchers say things like "hope I get some console players so they can stop in front of me when they Dead Hard..." and the like.
Revives my wish for a console-only Crossplay option whenever we go past regular unfair and dip into grossly unfair. Never happening I know...
Yeah. First I was really for crossplay and looked forward to it but I changed my opinion. It is unfair and idc what others think. It is funny tho how despite everything we still give our best and if we play enough we are rank 1's anyway. Not that ranking is too hard but with our issues it is easy to mess up even simple things.
It is disgusting how elitist and disrespectful some pc players are towards us I am not going to lie but most of them (those with ego) probably suck at gaming so they turned to imbalanced dbd so they can let loose of their ego thinking they are "outplaying" someone by doing simple things.
I want to see them beat every rondo of blood boss with basic attacks without taking damage or something like that. Yeah never going to happen lol.
-
How's everyones games?
This is weird but even with freezes I am kinda having fun today playing survivor since I switched dh for sb. It kinda balances things for me a little bit and it doesn't freeze which is cool.
This is probably bad but maybe I am getting used to it now? Just adapting to the situation.
I am not giving bhvr any money since the re chapter tho. As long as I am on the platform on which the game runs so poorly I am not buying anything.

Disregard this persons post. Play immersed. No seriously....you're not doing yourself any favors wearing neon and trying to outrun me.
HIDE! MORE!
Not really a fan of being completely "immersive" but being hard to see can't hurt anyone.
If I was immersive and being useless like some think I am just by asking this question (funny right) I wouldn't be rank 1 probably even on last gen with all the freezes and crossplay on. Also I wouldn't pay for clothes that I like.
Example. Sorry about the horrible camera and bad angle (had to hide name).
Actually I love chases but I love losing the killer too. Most of my survivors don't wear blending outfits. I tried p3 claudette before the remodel a little so I was interested which stealthy ones are good now so I can try sometimes.
And look what happened lol. But even if I was immersive I don't have anything against how others play as long as they are respectful to each other.
I love wearing outfits that look cool and good to me most of the time but I guess I can't ask about stealthy outfits because I am garbage then. Sigh.

Title. That's your post. It's not baseless. You don't need stealthy outfit if you know how to run. So that's best advice you'll ever get
So according to you no one with stealthy outfit knows how to loop. God why do I even keep responding to people like you.
And like I said I play with different outfits. Just because I am asking about stealthy ones doesn't mean that i am going to immerse myself 24/7 not doing anything.
Smdh. I thought things like these didn't need clarifying.

I use the opportunity to improve aspects of my game I need to and still attempt an escape. Afterall, if it took a while to enter the trial, I want to make the most out of each session if I can. Often, the result is much different to what I expected: once there were 2 of us with 3 gens still to do and we both escaped via the exit gates at Lery's. That was a memoriable match!
Yeah those games can definitely happen that is why I said we can be wrong sometimes. I had a game recently in which guy suicided immediately and all the rest of us still managed to escape. It was not easy mind you.

@IamFran said:
Stop Playing immersed please, we are not in 2018.
How do you know how I play just because I asked about stealthy outfits?
How about stop making assumptions we are not judgemental? Or are we.
I c9mbine playstyles depending on a situation and I am a decent looper. Would I pay for flashy outfits if I play immersed all the time?
People like you is what is wrong with society today. And if there is a person out there who plays how they want to play it is their business. You are not god.

@landromat said:
Get good at looping
Get good at reading. Also being hard to seen can't be disadvantage if you want to lose the killer.
Also I play most of the survivors with different outfits and played killer and survivor since 2018 at red ranks.
Yawn. Next time either answer the question or move along.
-
Nah. Anyone could make one on change.org and whatever is said in it, nothing will change. Ironic lol.

shes a free female survivor with one of the most popular solo q teachables, as well as boasting a high natural Stealth stat. She's going to be a popular character no matter what, and inevitably that means by sheer numbers that some less than pleasant people will play her.
I rarely play Claudette, but when I do I make sure to wear the flashiest clothes and charms possible with an anniversary crown because Claudette is too cool for school.
Her p3 is nerfed into the ground after the remodel so I don't think she is good for stealth anymore. Unless some other costumes work with her well.
-
I don't like I always say. I find most of them reliable teammates at red ranks.
I love Dettes in my lobbies.

Jump in a locker, do a gen (or any other channeled action), or drop an item as he is about to grab you.
Also it is pretty rare to see so I honestly wouldn't complain.
You can't jump in a locker because that makes you toxic. According to some people in the forums.
-
It was a lot easier before that is for sure. At least on console before the crossplay, freezing, rainbow matchmaking and everything.
Plus emblems are weird. I guess that is why everyone is hungry for unhooks. If I remember correctly before you needed like one gen, one unhook and a little bit of chase to pip but now you can depip with that.
It seems very incosistent to me. Sometimes I do bad and pip and when I did good I don't. Also can't remember the last time I double pip which I did consistently back in the day.

My exact reaction. I am seriously baffled how people think that change.org is anything else but a joke.
But I guess popular streamer did it so it must mean something big riiiiiight?
-
Maybe if adept/trophyhunting people weren't so much toxic like the community in general I would help people more. Example last time I let Myers get his adept because I noticed the perks/playstyle (was right).
Know what he did? He attacked me on the hook and nod into the screen until I was dead.
I don't regret helping opponents but I would do it more often if community was nicer. Especially when you need something like this in return.

I understand how you feel, I’ve been asking for console optimization since it launched on consoles back in 2017. My point remains, the cost is greater than the income and this will not happen until the income begins to greatly exceed the cost. They have all the data, they’re analyst know it’s not an investment worth making at this point in time. That’s just how the world works, at the end of the day they are a business just like other game industries.
This is true unfortunately. Companies will get away with everything they can and only do what is neccessary once in a while.
Edit: Tho I disagree that they would do anything for us if they earned even more profit. They wouldn't.
-
None.
But tbh I would gladly opt out of stuff that cause major freezing if I could.
-
This game still has a lot of stuff that can end the match for survivor or killer without anything you can do about it.
You should just accept this at this point. Not every game is winnable no matter how individually good you are.
-
I would be happy if they at least cut the shard cost on cosmetics a little bit. 21k for one outfit is too much tbh. That is like 100 levels if I'm not mistaken. One devotion.
-
I don't think they would be able to fix this in reasonable time even if they really tried.
Unless they revert a lot which will never happen.
They probably have to change everything from scratch at this point.
-
I rarely get the same killer that much more than the other ones.
-
Holy necro.
-
I think dc penalty is really good as it is.
People who continously dc get punished the most and are unable to play the game for many hours if they go overboard.
And people who crash can crash during those scenarios too and shouldn't be extremely punished for it.

Buy a ps5 and get on with it. If I kept the same pc for 5 years it would also get old. I wouldn't expect gaming companies to update the game just for me. Unpopular opinion
And wrong opinion since most games even much more demanding ones work perfectly well on last gen.
If you sell a game on certain platform it should work. Period.

The loud fans suck, but I did fix the framerate issue by getting an external SSD, so at least it runs smoothly. The Switch version runs silently but with low FPS, frame drops, and PS2 graphics. The Switch is so much worse: survivor is difficult and killer is unplayable.
I have no hope for the Switch version; my friend only got it because PC cross-progression was supposed to already be live by now. Once that goes live we'll buy it on Steam and only use the Switch for travel.
Releasing dbd on swith is the most disgusting thing they ever did imo. If they couldn't make it work well enough they shouldn't have released it in the first place.
I feel sorry for people playing on switch.

Devs needs to fix the xbox map lighting, it is very dark, can't see much on indoor maps.
Brightening up the tv screen a little bit helps somewhat. It is kinda dark on ps4 too. Deep wound combined with dark maps is like a blackout for me lol.

I've never seen a game where people complain so much about someone doing their objective. I've never seen a mortal kombat player complain about scorpion tossing his spear. Or a Star Craft player who whined someone did a zergling rush. It's not a mod or a cheat. It's a mechanic that's in the game.
Really?
I saw it tons of time. One example complaining about people spamming or doing some attacks.
People trash talk all the time in pvp games and it is everywhere. When I played usfiv back in the day I got tons of hate mail regarding my playstyle and I played Vega lmao.
The only fighting game that has nice community is virtua fighter one but that is probably because it is a small one.

Some people like to be dominated by big scary bois.
I'll probably get banned for this but it was worth it.

I think it's a good start but lowering the graphics will only mask the issue.
if they still intend to fix it, but are lowering graphics to buy more time, that's fine. This isn't a solution tho
How did lowering the graphics helped switch? If I am not mistaken I saw people still having issues.

Possibly. We know there is some sort of issue regarding HDD drives, but the issue isn't entirely solved by switching to SSD, which is exponentially more efficient.
Some people had their issuss fixed, others (like myself) did not have the issues fixed. I theorize that the HDD issue is a symptom of a larger problem.
Yeah we should not fall into the trap that ssd is a "miracle" solution to everything (one we have to pay for btw).
We saw some examples of how it improves things but also other people claiming they are still having problems with it.
And like @JPLongstreet said there is a posibility that the game actually loads everything into the match as evident by people hearing and seeing stuff that shouldn't be in that particular match.
Dbd is kind of a mess and even tho strong pc's can push through it all I wonder what if one day everything just falls apart and no amount of bandages applied keeps it together well enough for people to endure it.

Oh so it is those who are running a certain type of hard drive? That makes sense. I thought they were all basically the same type.
On ps4 its all hdd unless you switch to ssd yourself.
-
I sacrifice myself once in a while if killer hardly got anything out of the game. Even if we farmed I insist on being sacrificed if the killer is letting someone go. It just feels wrong.
I mean if killers can give me the hatch once in a while, why shouldn't I respond in common?

Yeah common sense is not that common but I have a feeling that majority of votes will be right. Even if they came.
