Dead by Daylight is my favorite game! I'd say it definitely is life. :)
Aside from DbD, I play a lot of Tabletop Simulator. It is so fun to play board games! I play a lot of horror board games on there, and my favorite is called Camp Grizzly. And of course I am getting the DbD board game!
One game that has a similar feel to DbD in some ways is Depth. I haven't played in a long time because the player base is quite small, but it is quite fun teaming up to be a shark duo with a friend and thrashing on some divers!
I have played a LOT of Dead by Daylight style games (asymmetric, usually horror). I also like Identivy V because of the art style and insane powers.
Outside that, I am working through Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter, as well as a game called Chicory, which is about recoloring the world after all color is wiped.
Depth is no longer being supported by updates or the devs anymore. Game is dead except for a few dozen people.

Anytime I try another game the back of mind is asking me why I'm not playing DbD.

Just had a Shirtless David running this perk last night. He carried the whole game on his back with his phenomenal gameplay. I had never seen such apex gameplay in my life. I erroneously mistook his god-level gameplay as hacks, but I only realized later that it was just pure talent and class I had the fortune to witness. Just absolutely refused to go down to any chase, and certainly not in the first 5 seconds.
Indeed those downs in 5 seconds or less are just excruciatingly painful to watch.

DBD is life. It's all I play.

This is BS. Gen times aren't fixed because people cry that doing gens is boring. Yet BHVR refuses to even add a secondary objective or reduce map sizes to patrolling gens is easier. And those same survivors that cry about gens being boring seem to do nothing but work on gens like their literal lives depend on it.
Chases and using your perks/items are the fun parts of the game. That's where the focus should be. Not holding M1 in a stationary position at a gen or staying with 10 meters of a hook until a survivor finally dies on their first hook. DbD can be better. DbD should be better.
Is it just me that doesn't mind holding on m1 on gens? I don't find it boring...yet somewhat meditative.
The constant threat of danger never hurts either.

Yes, I also get stressed when I have 3 team mates on the ground and the killer is going for me, because if I go down everyone is dead.
When it comes to "stress" from "scared from being hunted down", that stops after 5 hours.
Was in that exact same scenario last night. Thankfully someone's single handed UB saved the entire match for us.
-
It's a good perk if your a very good looper. Otherwise as stated I do see them go down first more often than not.

me too, he’s been fighting for old Freddy to comeback I think he’s just given up tbh. Sad I really like him.
When in doubt just give up 🤣

1) Don't let survivors get wet.
2) Don't feed survivors after midnight.
3) Don't expose survivors to bright lights.
-
Right now Pentimento+Plaything Pyramid Head along with Floods of Rage and I'm All Ears.
-
New map as long as it doesn't have 5 frigging variations.
-
True points about Sadako but the few I've encountered have actually been pretty decent.
-
Clown would've been played more if they did something more interesting with his power. Added a yellow mini speed gas. El lamo.
...we have Boon Dark Theory.

I did a daily as doctor the other day. Hardly use that killer. Got him to 40 for his teachable and that's it. I got a 3k. Someone yelled at me to play a killer that's fun? Fun for who? You? I could play my p3 nurse. Would you prefer that.
You forgot the question mark at the end. Please fix. 😏
-
Yeah it kind of already is on YouTube. Parody there's like what 13 or something episodes.
Just wish they were longer. Funny as hell tho.
-
Zombies hurt me more than Nemesis 😏
-
As mentioned her sound effects are enough for me to stay clear.
-
Pinhead all the way baby. Watching survivors trek thru a chain hunt never gets old.
-
I prefer old ranks. I was ok with a match being a tossup on my opponents skill level.
-
He's Def on the higher end of killers who perform well despite lack of mobility.
Sure he can teleport but at the cost of no potential chain hunts.

Survivors are the power role and the number role. The only thing they can't do is put themselves on the hook (without cheats)
They can't kick gens either 😏
-
Doctor.
-
Butterball running around the map would look silly. But then again we have a Clown so...
-
Forced Penance + BloodHound + Legion = Good.
-
There's more text here than in a school textbook.
-
Anything that makes him not add on dependant.
-
Hex: French Banilla
-
Merciless Storm is just a slightly stronger version of Overcharge. Someone may flub the skill check the first time if they're not expecting it. Once they know you have it it's pretty much useless.
-
Grades hidden is much better. Being able to see your own is all that matters. Hope they stay hidden permanently.
-
Freddy. Played against one for the first time in months. Very woah.
-
Blood Hound. It's sick with Legion & Scourge Hook Gift of Pain.
-
It's a good perk but I'm honestly too lazy to ever kick gens.
-
Killer victories are more based on survivor error. Gen regression perks can help but they're not essential although it may not seem that way.

Sure man, pick Myers or Clown against my swf, I'll show you how viable they are
Ego much? But alright.
-
How many I hate swf posts have we had in the last 5-6 years now?
-
I don't mind Auto/MacMillan offerings. Even though they choose the realm they don't get to choose which map specifically, which in turn keeps it rng based.

Just bring franklins and ruin their entire game pace in 1 perk.
Franklins is just one of those perks thats always handy, no matter what time it is, its always FRANKLINS time. They got a toolbox? Franklins. They got a key? Franklins. They got a flashlight? Franklins. They got a health kit?....???? Franklins!
Franklins is such a good perk you might get addicted to it and start crutching it.
Until survivors start predropping items to save charges. At least I've noticed this as of late.
-
I played last night (March 30) as survivor solo queue and the games seemed pretty solid. Didn't pull out any hair or see any hook suicides.
...it's a start.

Or maybe she's hungry for actual food and is mad at me for the five second delay to take her picture...
I can see your reflection in the cats eye.
-
You can always Google tons and tons of ideas from streamers and/or content creators. Even just check out some perks people use and copy those.
-
Any perk builds work the same with all survivors, as there's no difference between them except teachables.
Options are endless, but you may wanna try to get David's Level 30 perk WGLF if you need Blood points.

Any clue how long it'll last bc I ain't at home for a good few hours?
Me too, at least a good 9 hours for me. Ugh work and travel time.
-
Hawkins was my favorite map.
-
High risk, high reward hooks maybe?
-
Based on how good their Mori's are?
-
Last time I checked the vast majority of people around here hate BHVR Interactive so I'm unsure why there's sadness for her departure?
-
Players were so disappointed when Pinhead lost his voice lines after release.
Now we officially got them back with the original actors voice (great job btw), and now you wanna lose em'.
Sigh.

I haven't had a good experience today, but it's a new day. For some odd reason I keep getting really good Demogorgons, all with differing cosmetics.... But all with Mindbreaker
Using a universal perk doesn't mean much skill wise.
-
Have no job work or school like some people and sit in a basement somewhere and play 12 hours a day everyday.
FYI did not read your entire post before replying.
