When you reply to someone "simply dont be x" you're implying they are x. Me telling you how to not get stream sniped, is not me defending racists.
I'm not making donations because I have a full time job which I need to pay for actual things, like surgeries, that's why first world problems on the internet aren't really important to me.
Aren't important but good job you're here arguing about things that aren't important to you, they are definitely important to those being targeted, though.

Don't tell minorities to "educate yourself" when you're a UK white male.

Instead of telling me to not be racist or defend racists, when I'm not racist and I'm not defending anyone, why don't you go and give your stream donations and sub donations to a charity that helps minority? Way more productive to do so then act like you care on an online forum.
Where did I tell you not to be racist, I said "Simply don't be racist or defend racists", that's the answer to all this racism, but you are basically defending racists by telling black people what they should do instead of telling the racists what they should do.
Yea why don't we all make donations? That WOULD be far more productive than crying on a forum about 4 dumb free cosmetics or telling black people not to tell others they stream, lmao.

It is, just don't put TTV in your name, and if you're on steam, dont put the link in your bio. How difficult can that be?
I've streamed before and when I got tired of being targeted for having TTV in my name, I just, removed it.... took me 3 seconds to do so.
A lot people know I stream even without TTVs etc, especially bigger content creators why should they have to change their name or something so RACISTS don't abuse them?
Simply don't be racist and don't defend racists, it's not on black people to hide their links or name so they aren't targeted.

You're incredibly hyperbolic and irrational, you literally stated earlier that wraith 'should' to be removed (because he's from Nigeria?? and might target blonde haired and blue eyed German, Felix). Homophobic people aren't putting the charm on to mock a long history of abuse.

To quote you: "Can anyone point at a skin that could be used maliciously?"
I do not feel like I can accurately and wholeheartedly debate this topic, mostly due to the rules of this Forum and how stifling they can be, so I'd rather err on the side of caution, I'm sure you understand. However, I would like to quote @thefallenloser here as they are POC and are more capable of making a reasonable argument than I.
"Bl*ckface is an intentional twisted satire. It's a depiction of a racist stereotype of a black person, meant to depict them as less than. Leatherface is quite literally just wearing someone else's face because he's insane. There is no attempt to stereotype. There is no attempt to see them as lesser-- as he does the same to Claudette's white and Asian peers. We can't attribute these negative meanings to everything in the game just because Racist John decided it'd be funny if something that can be vaguely seen as racist is what he wore when he targeted black players-- otherwise we'll get to people clamoring for the removal of a certain killer that can vaguely represent the imagery of a certain racist cult."
Also, thanks for the passive-aggressive callout. But no, I'd fully support a match replay system that could be used to establish a pattern of behavior and ascertain whether or not a report is legitimate. Oh, and we will get a trans character at some point and if we don't I'll riot.
The whole quote reads as if people are saying LeatherFace is racist, literally nobody is saying that nobody thinks bubba is racist but people are using that skin in a racist way to attack black people.
I'd also like to know which character he is referring to that vaguely represents a racist cult.
And to add to the end, saying we will get something is not the same as us getting something and like I said, no history of people dressing up like women to attack trans people so it just isn't a thing.
I have a trans friend on twitter who is often called very nasty things in end game chat though so here's hoping that gets dealt with.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to see conversation about Pretty Lady Bubba when we get a trans or cross-dressing Survivor in the future.
Anything can be used to facilitate and spread hate. That's how ######### humanity is.
However, nuking content should be a last resort. I'd rather have seen BHVR try to update and stream-line their reporting system, develop a match replay system or explore alternative options rather than say "We're getting rid of this free content because .01% of the community abused it to be #########."
Pulsar, black face is a literal thing that happens, there has never been a history of dressing up like a woman to mock trans people, not to mention we may NEVER get a trans character so what is this argument except a bunch of "what ifs" to argue against AN ACTUAL CURRENT ISSUE.
Besides unless the player is actually racist in end game chat you can't prove its racism and lord knows how people like you would react when behaviour started to log which bubba face you were using at the time of your facecamp of a black character or creator to decide your ban, heck I've already seen people say "guess we can't kill black characters now".

Off-topic. Where does the blackface begin and end? I once read the news that which girl was being attacked when she did the image of a black character from the game that she likes. After all, a person has the right to self-expression, right?
What relevance does this have to dead by daylight?
People's idoicy has no end as has been proven on this forum since the blog post went up, people will and always will attack anyone for anything. However, black people have called this mask black face for years, and the racists know that black people see this mask as black face and use It as a tool to target those people.
-
Can anyone point at a skin that could be used maliciously?
Blackface is a literal thing, and the black community have been outspoken on this for a very long time, it has a very long history of being used to mock black people, whether you like it or not racists know black people see this skin as blackface, you may not but they do, and that's fine, it's their history.
There has been no history of people dressing up like old people and murdering and lynching old folks, same goes for murdering and lynching of trans and gay folk, it unfortunately happens but those people dont have a special outfit or makeup they wear for such occasions.
Educate yourself.

It's ridiculous to call Bubba a racist just for wearing Claudette's face. He's an insane cannibal, he doesn't care about the skincolor of his victims. If anything it shows how inclusive he is in what he does, NOT having Claudette as a facemask in there would be the real racist move.
It's ridiculous that you think people are calling the character racist, it's some free crap cosmetic that literal racists are wearing and targeting people with, bubba isn't real and nobody gives a toss about his ideals, it's about the people behind the keyboard and controller.

3 - 4 years of them bringing up parity between solo and swf every stream they've done since for them to decide whether to pop up some pngs next to survivors to show whether they're doing gens or not, lmao.
DBD is moving at a snails pace.
-
SBMM only benefits bad players.
As we know, SBMM only counts kills and escapes.
What this means, is good players that are altruistic and often die are deranked, where as players who instantly drop pallets and don't even attempt to mind game loops are ranked up because they escape.
A player that drops 3 pallets in a 4 minute chase, is far better than someone that drops 5 / 6 / 7 pallets in the same time, and the game just does not care or factor that.
Additionally, a killer that runs 0 slow downs is much likely to play worse, but a players that runs 0 slow downs and gets 8 / 9 hooks is significantly better than someone that runs full slow downs and gets 2 / 3 kills, and again, the game does not care.
SBMM does not work.

That would then be a bannable offense so risking your entire game just because your a little salty doesn't sound like something a thinking person would do. All the perks you mentioned have already been brought up and I created a post a little higher up explaining why I don't think that would be an issue.
"But I was protecting my hex totem BHVR, I was just camping my hex totem sir" - every killer ever.
They literally had to alter physics on basement stairs because killers used to stand in front of survivors and go AFK (Before EGC)
People risk their accounts for a lot less, and also basing a perk on the charity of others to not do something is... laughable.

Why not? It shouldn't be too much trouble if you took the time to break any of the totems you run by while on your way to the next generator. After all the Killer could have NOED but I bet that's no problem for you.
Really don't care about noed so not really sure why you brought it up, and i too would think this perk if fine if i also (like you) pretended that totems are just going to be there between every gen and not in some increasingly more obnoxious places.
Corrupt, No Way Out, BW, This Hex + Swamp
GG EZ.
Alternatively because i have a massive brain and have played this game for more than 2 hours, the killer could just stand in front of any totem and take the game hostage indefinitely.
-
Sounds like the perfect camping perk, 3 survivors now have to complete all gens AND all totems before the first person dies on hook, swell, lets do it.

I still have games continue when a survivor sees my fountain and DCs seconds in. AFAIK, the match ending 30 seconds in happens when a player DCed during loading, but the match didn't properly register that happening and booted up anyway. Oh no! Not your 4% kobe chance! That's SO MUCH against people who exploit it to DC early, and against cheaters who can yeet off the hook with 100% chance!
Removing this 4% chance would completely bury the game! 😨
In case you missed it; my fix is based on the view that people cheating (script-babies who can yeet off the hook infinitely), and people who use it to rage-quit without a DC penalty, is more important than a stupid base 4% chance to kobe.
Heaven forbid. Such an idea will bury this game! BURY, I say! We NEED that 4% chance; cheaters and exploiters be darned! 🙃

Yea, they're mad because the killer didn't let more out. Why should the killer do anything except get as many kills as possible? It's not the killer's job to make sure everyone has fun. That falls on the devs, and they have been failing miserably.
Are they really though, or are we just saying this because you know survivors don't actually complain and want 4man escapes like killers do with 4 kills?

You are right that people will always exeggerate here, on other forums or everywhere in the internet,ESPECIALLY when you have a valid problem at your hands. I honestly think that CoH is way too good with too many advantages in one neat little package, that everyone can benefit from. Hell, CoH has been discussed up and down all over the place, so I wont repeat it here. Lets see that a high percentage of this forums population agree that it is too strong, and I think so too, but that doesn`t mean that every other game you see some tooled out squad abusing the hell out of it.
I remember some really aweful games in the two weeks of its release where some survivors would heal up from the damage I just gave them by the time I caught up to them, but after that it slowly simmered down. CoH is BY FAR the most popular boon perk, so surprise there, but luckily most of the soloQ players seem to rely on their dependable old school meta builds. But in the hands of a properly tooled up swf group there is hardly anything you can do to counter it.
I don't understand though, because the forum also implies that you can never win against a good SWF anyway, so whether they have CoH or not doesn't matter.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:

I think the Achievement also played a part in that. There is an Achievement for blessing 20 Hex-Totems. Once I got this, I dropped CoH immediatly. And blessing Hexes was so tiresome, it takes painfully long...
But this might also be a factor, players went for the Achievement and either got it or did not care for it at some point. Also, the "New-Factor". This wears off pretty fast.
It wouldn't be that... certain players over exaggerated the usefulness of certain perks and expected them to be the only thing they ever see, it definitely wouldn't be that again, no?
-
Interesting how little boons seem to show up, they don't show up in my matches often but am always told they're in every match and they're op.

I´m not trying to counter anything. I simply asked why killers apparently "deserve" punishment.
What i´d like the other survivors to do? Well, as i already said, totems (to prevent NOED), chests or some kind of interaction with the killer. Because both sides profit from interacting with each other (at least points wise).
Camping the killer: camping or better yet face camping is often regarded as the killer standing still in front of the hook. Now camping the killer is exactly the same. Survivors standing in proximity to the camping killer. Also motionless and waiting for him to leave. I even posted some screenshots about survivors that wasted a whole gen by simply standing in proximity to a camping killer. Instead of like, you know, do gens.
Which btw is a weird behavior. Since you yourself said, survivors have little to do apart from gens. This behavior suddenly stops when the killer camps. Thus rewarding the killer for camping.
I firmly believe that the biggest part of camping killers would simply stop or at least reduce camping, once they would only get 1 kill from it. But since survivors reward the killer by not doing what they usually do when the killer doesn´t camp (gens). It turns into a habit. Because a killer that gets more kills by camping than by playing without camps, will stick to that playstyle. Simply because it works.
So far nobody has brought up any good arguments on WHY killers should be punished. Therefore i propose something else. Reward killers for not camping.
The easiest solution that comes to my mind would be to simply upgrade BBQ: Once the killer has hooked everyone once, the killer can get another 4 stacks by hooking every survivor a second time. Resulting in a possible bonus of 200%. While the devs are on it, they could also upgrade WGLF. Now of course, the amount of stacks and the way stacks are gained would have to be updated. How about 2 stacks for a unhook and 1 stack for protection hits, cleansing/booning a totem? Which still results in 8 possible stacks for a bonus of 200%.
I'm not going to read all that but honestly I don't want killer punished for camping, and i haven't expressed that view at all, I just think that saying "Well it's boring for killers as well / killers don't get bp either" when it's their choice to play this way in most cases is just silly.
Additionally, I don't think upgrading BBQ will do anything, most survivors don't care about being camped at one gen, it's the 3 / 4 / 5 gen campers people dislike, and if a killer has made THEIR choice to camp at this amount of gens then they obviously don't care about the amount of bloodpoints they earn as they've effectively chosen to give up on BBQ stack all-together playing this way.
-
@Tsulan said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2718536#Comment_2718536
When survivors gen rush, they´ll leave with very little bloodpoints in comparison to a "normal" match. - survivor choice
camping the killer - survivor choice
I agree, your "counter points" are... hilarious.
Btw, what happend to your nickname? Someone added a A, may i ask what the reason was?
If a killer doesn't catch a survivor, due to lack of skill or the map being very poorly generated, what would you like the other survivors to do? They have no one to save and thus the only points they can actually get is from escaping, which 5K of that (usually a whole quarter) is from escaping
Camping the killer? What is this, a new mechanic you've designed to argue against something that doesn't exist? Or do you mean when each survivor has to find out the killer is camping because yet again, people have to continue reiterating that not everyone SWF is a 4 man stack of comms players.
ALSO, what am I trying to counter? You just can't flat out admit you're wrong, ever. Survivors do gens because they have to ( it's literally how they escape ) killers camp because sometimes they have to (end game) and the majority of them camp at 3 - 5 gens because they want to.
Because my name is Sean, Senzu is from a TV show I've never watched (me and my friends used to have similar names on Xbox, they liked DBZ so we all changed over to Senzu 'animal') after years of being asked about DBZ and what I liked about it, I decided to change it with something simple that removes me from being asked about DBZ but also incorporates my real name.

That must be it!
/s
Wonder if anyone will take your Us vs Them bait.
Well, in a match where a killer decides to face camp at 5 gens for whatever reason and the survivors try and save no matter what, they absolutely care about someone elses fun more than the killer does.
-
@Tsulan said:
WHY should killers be punished for camping?
- Because the camped survivors don´t get a lot of bloodpoints? Same goes for the camping killer.
- Because getting camped is boring? Well guess what its like for the killer.
- Because camped survivors lower their mmr? A high mmr isn´t exactly something people should strive for. At least if they want to have any sort of fun.
When survivors only push gens (because its their only objective, asside from totems, chests, hook rescues and heals) and even camp them, its considered as playing efficiently. But when killers camp their only objective its considered something worthy of punishment? Like... really?
So i ask again, WHY should killers be punished for camping?
Not a lot of bloodpoints - It's the killers choice
Camping is boring - again, it's the killers choice
These 'counter points' are absolutely hilarious.
and as for your paragraph...
Yes, sure, survivors "rush gens" but they HAVE to actively move to another gen to win, survivors can't stay on the same gen the entire game and earn anything from it, a killer can camp a survivors until they're dead and then they've won against that survivor, the dead survivors does not matter anymore to the rest of the game, and the other 3 escaping isn't suddenly a win for that dead survivor because they got camped.
-
Proof that survivors care more about fun in this game than killers do in all honesty, some survivors are willing to throw an entire game so one person doesn't spend theirs on a hook.
-

You don't even need comms in swf. Rarely use them unless drinking. Killers still rage when any player has even an ounce of game sense.
I play this game solo almost exclusively, and if i am SWFing it's never with comms, and I'm constantly accused of SWFing, it's the default whine in end game chat now, and they literally don't listen or leave before you can explain or say that you're solo, and even then they often don't believe you because there's literally no way they could have lost unless 'cheating' swf was the reason.

Hm, it's kind of questionable. You're going outside the program to set it to a display mode it should never be in, in order to gain an unfair advantage in the game (that outright nullifies certain powers in ways it really shouldn't). It might not be banworthy, but ethically it would be cheating, surely?
Filters are fine (especially Nvidia ones because BHVR have to manually allow those, which they have).

Black Friday makes sense on the sale aspect, but it's not a huge sale, and are you aware of ... Halloween? Seriously, if a bloodhunt was about a holiday of any kind, it would have been that one.
And you don't have to plan months in advance to add a <x2> to a variable. I know it takes them years to fix bugs, but a bloodhunt is just an on/off switch somewhere.
It's also funny because Canada has it's own Thanksgiving day which is a whole month before, people still forget America isn't the only country on the planet, why celebrate another countries thanksgiving over your own.
