  • That was the fastest load into a match I've ever seen, on console too - seems fishy.

  • In this thread - bad killers needing their hand held everywhere they go.

and honestly - getting upset at end game chat that you can hide.

  • not to mention, a set of 16 new perks will come with the next two chapters

I understand this is a troll post but can we not pretend 6 + 6 is 16. Can’t even troll
    properly 😂
  • Can’t wait for troll survivors to grab the parts and put them in a corner for the killer to camp!

I dont like like this idea purely because survivors may end up accidentally dropping parts while escaping etc in the same area and the killer can then just camp them preventing a win.

    No, it is not.

Do you even play the game?

I do, stupid question.... Read the patch notes first. Bloodlust was nerfed.

Ohhhh, you think removed and nerfed are the same thing, odd.

jesus people are salty.. chill down boyos!

Has a bad match, makes a post wanting a buff for ez wins

We're the salty one, just invest points. Killers seem to seem think that from rank 20 - rank 1 every killer should be viable. This simply isn't true - the better the survivors you go against the more you should have to use against them, it's simple.

  • Honestly if you're close enough to hit the one being unhooked you're camping anyway and have no reason to complain about milliseconds of invulnerability when you can just hit milliseconds later and still down the poor survivor.

    Or is this your opinion?

Sorry - let's go back to camping and pretend I have an issue with it.

I only brought up camping, because looping is for killers what camping is for survivors: boring

Except it's not at all - If a killer is camping they have someone, that persons game is essentially over unless a super hero BT save comes in (and I'm sorry but I hardly see BT anymore since you know, the well deserved nerf happened). If a survivor STOPS looping and running they die, it's not at all the same, in my opinion.

Also the comparison between looping and camping is so irrelevant as I'm not even asking for camping to removed so how can you compare them like I do.

I could swear this has been a thing for long xD

Basically, Tsulan thinks looping can be removed (lol), and instead of giving us his incredible information and feedback of how we remove looping, he instead wants to discussing camping because, well... I really have no idea.

Basically, in this thread - killers want it easy, they want to counter looping without using perks to counter it because "why should we have too".

    @SenzuDuck
If camping is ok so is looping.
Counter without using perks (or even addons) shouldn't be a thing. I a killer can counter that without those things imagine how broken would be the killer with perks (and addons)

I absolutely agree - I have an issue with neither. Also - if a killer wants to camp there is no amount of bonus points or negative effects you can put in place to prevent this behaviour.

"Looping" also known as "Surviving" is necessary, theres some killers who have abilities that let them see through walls, crouching does not prevent this behaviour, and if (like a lot of killers do) get looped or stunned by one survivor they can often get tunnel vision and will continue chasing that one survivor despite passing many other survivors just to get that one guy. I've seen it happen all the time.

Killers will just have to learn to play better, use perks that counter looping and deal with it.
There's a plethora of perks and add-ons that help with looping, and devs are constantly changing map tiles and buildings to make it easier for the killers to do this, but it isn't impossible as it stands right now.

Myers has an insta down that makes him super fast, again - you're clearly just poor at playing him so clearly he can't do anything.

Is what I said, I worded it poorly but I also didn't say he moves faster either.
He gets a lunge that's long AF which should counter the elusive loop gap.

As i said, he turns into road runner.

This post essentially makes it look like you also want Myers buffed as well as "removing loops". I think you need to come to terms with just being very good. buff this for me, buff this for me, buff this for me, remove this for survivors tho.

Please stop putting words into my mouth.
I never said that Myers needs a buff or anything.

    Basically:

@Tsulan - Pallet looping has no counters.

@SenzuDuck - You can play around pallet looping.

I'm just laughing at people who think it's an exploit.

Which you can play around looping, if it was impossible to beat no killer would ever have kills but heck - it's impossible to counter.

Mc_Harty, you're the best, by the way.
I just wish I knew why he keeps bringing up camping :(

Look, i promised i wouldn´t laugh, but those "counters" are just ridiculous. Just admit that there are no counters. That Myers can´t do anything to counter looping. (just to name 1 killer).
Also your logic of "thousands of people counter looping every day" could apply to camping. So camping no problem?

You honestly have serious issues. I've stated several times now that I have no issue with camping, you can't do anything about it and I play around it because It's part of the game, whats your obsession?

Myers has an insta down that makes him super fast, again - you're clearly just poor at playing him so clearly he can't do anything.

Really, you have failed to proof anything but behave like you won a loop or anything. I already offered you to agree to disagree. Please stop making a fool out of yourself. Because you invalidate my comments by laughing. Very mature btw.

Except, if you're actually a good killer "looping" doesn't affect you in 8/10 matches, it's part of the game, you can't get rid of it, just like you can't get rid of camping ( WHICH HOPEFULLY YOU CAN READ THIS, I DONT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH).
of course I laugh at you - I play this game and do absolutely fine, when there is an issue it's usually a mistake I've made as a killer, I don't have to pretend it's mechanics because I know I ######### up.

    https://www.twitch.tv/videos/311618921?t=02h53m30s

Oh look - if you watch this game, it shows a killer doing poorly to chase me, so I BM him, then give him the down and he camps me, if you listen you can hear how angry I am when he camps. LOL.

But yea, hurr durr here we are again talking about camping that I'm absolutely not asking for to be removed.

There is really no arguing with you... sigh
Oh and Myers doesn´t get a speed bonus or anything when he´s EW3. He just has a slightly longer lounge.
    Maybe you should play him.

I warned you that this would go on and on. But you seem to be bored.

He literally vaults windows faster in EW3 - but no, no speed boosts or anything to counter looping.

Is it maybe not everyone is supposed to climb the ladder to the top? That there just might be better players out there?

I agree - some people are just not ever going to be good at this game - but lets cater to those and remove every obstacle in the game instead of people learning their ways around these things.

"holy counter" oh so you want something that's overpowered and unbeatable, it wont happen, eat the pallet and carry on, it's not hard. I truly believe you must not be very good at this game.

So you admit that there are no counters to looping?

You play the game, because it's part of it, that's how you counter it, you play around it. I don't understand what you want, you can literally play the game, thousands of people counter looping every day but you can't grasp that,

Bloodlust (which was added to counter loops like are you not getting that)
Perks (Some counter looping ONE WAS EVEN ADDED WITH THE NEW KILLER)
Play A Killer You're Good At

Unlike camping, which has several counters. Like DS or BT for example?

D Strike (Which is getting nerfed btw, thank #########) as a counter for camping? What do you smoke.
BT - If you're camping, you hit the one coming in, and then you hit them again as you should be recovered by the time they've unhooked.

ALSO - why are we talking about camping, which I know can't be removed from the game, ######### lol.

But no, hurrr durr, despite all this lets change the subject and talk about camping despite me never asking for it to be removed.

Stealth is my favorite way to play this game. But i seldom encounter a killer who doesn´t have at least 2 aura-reading perks. My last game was against a nurse with calling, b&c, Whispers and Murmur...

Yeah, stealth brings you really forward in this game. The thing is: i can´t do chases very well, one of the reasons is i don´t loop. And juking only works 50% of the time, because juking is no secret unknown to killers.

So, should i just stop playing the game? Stealth is no real option against all those aura-reading perks, looping is an exploit, so what is a survivor supposed to do?

Looping is not an exploit, people have very passionate arguments about it, but it's not an exploit.

Shhhh, don't tell them it's part of the game.

Well, since you asked so nicely and not sarcastically at all...
Make killers and survivors hitbox the same.
Implement a noob tutorial on how to juke.
There are some nice YouTube videos for that.
How to mindgame, how to actually use the crouch key for something else than teabagging.

    AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

Yea dude - this totally fixes the "looping" problem.

Yea, sure - make the hitboxes the same i don't really care about this, killers will still whine.

Implement a noob tutorial on how to juke, unfortunately some killers are actually good at this game and simply holding crouch behind a box doesn't help, also bloodlust, where if the chase unfortunately lasts more than 15 seconds they're on your ass pretty consistently, but yea dude, I totally agree, just hold the crouch button, LOL.

you've replied to every comment except that one, somehow, lol.

Anyone can read your comment history and see you troll, insult, and lie.

I don't troll at all, the majority of killers in this forum are very clearly awful at this game and beg for every possible buff.

I don't at all insult, i tell people to get better, that isn't insulting, the sheer amount of "omg looping" when most people would just break the pallet and continue the chase shows how poorly they play this game.

Also, making assumptions (Like assuming you skipped my reply because you've NEVER missed a reply I've made to you, except this one, of course, because you made stuff up in it) are not lies.

I don't troll, my opinion doesn't sort yours, just play better, I'm sure you'll get out of rank 17 soon.
I don't insult, it's the truth - people are bad at this game and blame mechanics heavily instead of themselves, they overestimate their own skill

    Assumptions are not lies.

Please, tell me the many mechanics to losing the killer, I'm sure you're great at it.

Devs mentioned camping in the pre release streams.
They never said anything about running in circles tho.

Oh, they never mentioned anything about survivors surviving? Are you implying survivors are supposed to do EVERYTHING but run around loops to survive?

    Looping =/= Surviving

Look, we can go back and forth for hours.
You claiming that survivors con only survive by looping and i claiming that there are more things like juking, stealth, mindgames, etc.
You ignoring those things and insisting on looping being the only way, and so on...

How about we agree to disagree?

Please don't put words in my mouth, I didn't say it's the only way to survive at all - but complaining about something that is in the game and literally cannot be removed is ridiculous.

The pallet looping is mind boggling. I'm fairly new to the game and wanted to know how long the looping has been like this. It provides for the most boring gameplay and I couldn't see any developer thinking that it was acceptable. Could you imagine watching a horror movie where the survivor ran in a circle over and over?

The higher the rank, the worse its gotten. In addition, what kind of chase is expected to last almost a minute?

Map has been redesigned for that purpose. That being said, loops are sometimes mandatory so you can buy more time for your teammates to complete the gens.
As a survivor you can either play stealthy or not, each survivor has a different personality and that's the way it should be. So if you gotta face a looper learn how to counter that, especially now that maps have been fixed towards killers.
As you said you are fairly new to the game, so keep playing, get better and maybe you'll see it's not as bad as you think now.
Btw, I would never complain about a game which i'm new at (unless it's server issues, fps, etc)

and even stealth wont work sometimes because of certain perks and addons so remember that even if you're the stealthiest player alive, there's a plethora of perks that will counter stealth.

OMG you are right! i just opened the game description http://www.deadbydaylight.com/en/game/informations/gameplay and there it is under survivor features:

    • run in circles until the killer grows tired of doing so
    • teabag at the exit gates

Oh look - someone who thinks survivors should run in straight lines so he can get easy wins.

Please stop putting words into my mouth. I never said that. (sounds familiar?)

Also, killers objective on that page is to catch survivors, do you want survivors to get on the hook for you as well?

Tell me another multiplayer game where i can play as Mickael Myers, Freddy, Leatherface.

So you play the game just to run around as these guys? Lmao - that's hilarious, get a costume or something and run in front of the mirror.
"I don't like the game mechanics but I get to run around as some famous movie killers"

The question is, why this CHEESY feature lasted that long ?

You mean surviving? Heck - it's almost like one of the games roles is based on surviving.

And there is only one case where someone can enjoy running in circle 80% of the time : to troll an opponent who mechanically can't counter it.

The fact killers think running around a loop so they can survive and get maximum points is being a "troll". Absolutely hilarious.

AKA an unfair advantage more often than not used with malicious intent.

AKA - Using mechanics given to survivors to survive so they can get blood points and survive.

It's fun to noticed that this exact sentence can be applied to SWF and a lot of other survivor favored features.

Ohhhh noooo, killers complaining about SWF again, give it a rest, game would be dead without it.

Tell me how fun it would be if survivors ran in straight lines and every chase is over in 10 seconds flat because that sounds not very fun at all - killers are given plenty to counter, and often what I see are killers too stubborn to break pallets and then blame mechanics for a survivor going around the same loop 5/6 times.

  • Looping is necessary, and the people complaining about how it's been in the game forever but still playing the game? I'd have moved on if something so game breaking had stayed so long.

  • Microsoft probably slacking, I also think they usually update their virtual stores at midnight, you'll just have to wait.

1 token isn't even a threat tho, you have at least 2 unhooks remaining until the killer gets his exposed.

Except it is, it's one step closer to getting insta-downed.

That should be enough time for a survivor to find the totem anyways and besides

So even then the changes wouldn't even be good enough and people would still want to make it stronger.

I could argue the same with Huntress Lullaby! :)

Not every perk has to be a show stopper - lullaby works great with The Doctor but you have to take the risk to have a really powerful build.

I’d be down for this. The totem should not be able to even be cleansed until the Killer has at least two stacks active.

They are risk vs reward for a reason.

You can't just have a hex protected until x is accomplished because then there is almost no risk for the killer to use it.

Lol not with how bad totem spawns are. It’s more like extremely high risk and low reward. You have to pray that Survivors don’t find your totem within a minute or that you manage to successfully defend it long enough to swing the game in your favor.

Again - it's called RISK VS REWARD. You risk having your totem broken for the reward of instantly downing survivors and also possibly killing them aswell, sounds like a pretty high tier reward if I'm honest.

I really don't know what you expect them to do with totem placement. When I play survivor I check places I know totems don't even spawn because it's easy to check.

"Don't spawn them near gens or survivors" Is a common suggestion I hear. Which wouldn't work because then survivors know they don't need to check their immediate area or near generators.

Even then Devour Hope is completely useless until it gets two stacks. It only gets dangerous at three stacks

well, no duh dude - it's almost as if it's a perk that guarantees survivors go down in one hit, it shouldn't be easy to obtain, it should be VERY hard.

What? Isn't the spam threads a problem?

Not really - you flag them - they get deleted at some point.

The only reason they're a problem is people regularly comment on them and start tagging moderators which bump them to the top of the general discussions, instead of flagging them and commenting on other, relevant threads.

So 30% of all matches are totally solo while another 34.1% are a duo queue + 2 solo's.

Ye, I wouldn't take them seriously, as I have shown, the pure solo players take only 14%,while the rest of 86% of games contain some sort of SWF present in them.

I'm afraid the solo numbers are even lower now, that's why I want to continue doing stats like these.

Remember how they wanted to obfuscate how much self care is used by making it a percentage of a perk slot rather than whole loadout?

You can't say pure solo takes only 14% because you haven't actually shown anything since you don't work for BHVR. Thus you don't have any actual data to back up your claims.

Those are numbers the devs posted on a stream from data they'd collected. These are also the numbers everyone has accepted as current until they post the new updated stats.

That's because Behavior's stats are dog ######### and mean absolutely nothing.

Except you'd definitely take their stats word for word if they said SWF was way more common, lets be honest. You're only dismissing facts because they don't prove the killer main case.

They like to cherry pick the facts the same way they do their lobbies

Like the time they tried to state that Self-Care only had a 25% chance of being picked ;3

and if they said it had 75% chance you'd believe it because it fits your narrative, you only believe stuff if it pushes your buttons and you like the outcome

Is that your attempt at disproving a factual statement?

Using hypothetical, 3rd-party projected, anecdotal evidence?

    Dig deep, brother.

Is that your attempt at disproving a factual statement?

What does this actually mean? These stats come from the developers, but apparently (because a killer said so) it isn't actually true, but that's their way of "disproving" it, by saying it isn't true.

Using hypothetical, 3rd-party projected, anecdotal evidence?

I bet you thought you were smart typing all this nonsense.

They state actual facts, killers don't believe it, so obviously if they stated the opposite (or what the killers thought to be true) they'd believe it.
