I'm playing killer my self so don't think this is a survivor main cry talk. I'm just confused. People are crying for months and are still not happy.
Wraith got 2 buff updates
Clown got reworked and is a lot stronger
Blight is fixed
Trappers traps are now having a better luck chance
Ds got nerfed
Trickster getting a buff next wee
Survivor animations are now more clear (Hillbilly is happy)
Like common, every killer gets update after Update buffed. Yeah I know sfw is stronger but bhvr is finally trying to make the game more balanced so just wait for new amazing changes.
It's more SWF or the whole "gen rushing" they moan about.... despite a gen taking 80-90 seconds to fix one. π€·ββοΈ then again... survivors could have killers nurfed and they'd still have a cry about it.

That's rather petty.
There's actually a good reason for the killer to close the hatch: more BP for hooking during the EGC, and also there are challenges that require hooking/sacrificing during the EGC. There are no BP bonuses or challenges for DC'ing. (If the EGC had already started, then yes, it was a dick move on the killer's part, but still not worth DC'ing over.)
When I'm the last survivor and the killer downs me, I accept that that's it. Unless there's an open exit gate, I usually don't bother to struggle because I'm fine with dying. If someone doesn't struggle because they expect the hatch, well, that's not the killer's fault.
Behave π€£

You have obviously read none of my posts. No I am against any kind of BM. Including the DC.
Good try tho.
I'm against DC, especially when the survivor is dropped once and hadn't been hooked but when I'm spectating what I saw today. I didn't blame them for doing that I'm afraid... the guy was a proper nob. And pretty sure he's the sort of killer that would literally complain or DC having 3 gens pop in his face. Today we managed to get 2 done and the rest of the match he slugged 2 at the start of the match and dropped the 3rd after the 2nd gen was done (bare in mind he left 2 on the floor already unhooked) so it was such a quick match. Get the whole tac tics but that was cringey af!

If you do that every time a game doesn't go your way, you'll be looking at a week long ban very quickly.
Wasn't me that done it π was a team of mine. I already died mate, killer pretty much spawned behind me and got a sandbag within 20 seconds π

Killer is probably happy they DC'd going by the gifting hatch just to close it.
DCs don't count against emblems anymore.
DCs give the killer points.
Survivor now has to wait out the DC penalty.
Having a hard time finding the scenario where the killer would take offence.
But closing the whole hatch after taking them there, to make them look the Good guy then just generally doing that to be a prick that's just cringey gameplay. Honestly any killer has make a survivor feel mocked or look stupid to make them feel good about themselves they don't deserve those DC blood points.

I would say DCing demonstrates that a person was so affected by the BM that they sacrificed all their bloodpoints, pip, and took a penalty because of it.
If you're BMing, isn't that what you want? A reaction?
You honestly sound like someone who is happy to BM players if I'm honest, also sound like you're justifying this behaviour to be acceptable to give players a really pants game match.

I can certainly understand being annoyed by this type of silly immature behavior. But, by DCing, aren't you giving them exactly what they want?
As well, forfeiting any points earned. Seems a big price to pay to make a point to someone you will never meet and is probably 12 years old.
They don't necessarily want or need anyone to DC. But they will lose the last hook kills. Because they never got the chance to hook them so in a way it would teach them a lesson for mockery. Lose point if you're a teasing killer.

Yeah, it's called the DC penalty. It is also against forum rules to promote DCs. So, I'd say pretty it is pretty clear
noone was promoting DC... and if the survivor or killer want a penalty then quit the game... noones obliged to stay in the game at all. There is no rule stating that. That's just what the temporary ban is for.

Why fuming? Accept sacrifice once picked up as the last survivor. Anything beyond & you've been gifted.
I like this play because it makes those genuine hatch gifts a little more exciting
I've spectatced a match where this tactic backfired on a killer because they didn't know the survivor had a key & adrenaline
Mate he was taking the piss out of the survivor just to make themselves feel good about themselves. Also, boarder line greifing. Make the survivor think he's gonna do a fair thing and entice them to the trap and make a complete fool out of the player.
So yeah like a comment above mentioned. The killer got what they deserved. I'd of done the same thing. Making a mockery of someone like that isn't deserved for the last kill points.

I just want thoughts honestly. How do you use him effectively on this map when people are running upstairs, jumping off rooftops, looping through endless windows (not pallets that can be broken)? I genuinely committed to a chase to see if it was possible, and although I actually like the idea of knowing when to chase and when to back off because it will stretch out too long, I think there are unwinnable loops on this map that are impossible if survivor simply runs to the next window. This map is terrible for any killer, seriously needs a rework.
Yeah man Haddonfield is the worst map for him to be honest. I personally think he's alot more efficient in an open map or inside the meat plant place (pallet central)
My personal opinion anyway, noone has to agree with that at all. Just something I personally feel. I don't like going against him on Haddonfield, being survivor it's not fun being able to escape the killers to quickly.

Unfortunately the devs not gonna do much about it. Its a cross play game, and features to chat in party over with their mates. So many killer mains complaining about the swf. This thread isn't based on that it's based nurfing a killer and not quite grasping a reason as to why. If the swf is complained about all the time by killers then there is literally no point playing the game and find a game that doesn't have that feature on it. It's not like the swf win every match or is impossible to win against.

Have to admit I've been slugged a bit. But not every match.
I get sandbagged more than slugged. Like if I've been hooked and saved il instant get bagged down and placed on the hook again but then if my teams not timing correctly or doesn't run BT it's not really a surprise.

Clown .. only because I literally have chlorophobia. Every time I go against the clown I honestly feel like quitting the match , then realise it will be a disappointing reason to do so, and may as well just not have the game installed. So I just bare through it now and the more I've played the prouder I get having dealing with this fear one step at a time?
I know this probably the most rediculous comment and will probably get laughed at for having that fear in the first place, but hey! Yunno it is what it is and I suppose nothing wrong with admitting being scared, despite how stupid it sounds.

Iβve tried. Iβve made post after post about my issues as Killer. With SWF, most killers being garbage against decent survivors, etc etc. Now itβs gotten the point where the game is almost unplayable for me. I keep getting Coldwind or shrine maps. I just got Coldwibd five times in a row. On top of that for a very long time now anytime I go in for a hit lag happens, my character freezes up, and I miss the survivor. Iβm tired of the million problems with Killer. Congrats dev, you fix DS and now thereβs only 999,000 more problems to go. Iβm taking a break a break from killer. Probably for a long long time. Have fun with losing another killer player devs. Peace. Iβll just stick to survivor. Itβs hella easier and lot less stressful.
This is why I quit the killer mode for a while. I play survivor but it's stressful when I get lagged out or can't even vault without the mug who were behind me to start with having randomly lag infront of me and do me in π
I get sandbagged, camped, tunnelled and teabagged at a hook 9 times out of 10 games, in the end I just kill myself and move to the next match. Always end up saying "yep you've got yourselves a teabagger you're all screwed and good luck " have to admit I found being killer that my perks just seemed useless compared to what some rank survivors had and questioned myself half the time "am I trash or these lot ruthless AF?"

I agree with the balance of perks! They're not too bad of perks just need to be quicker quicker activate. You are the last survivor alive in the match and you found the hatch.
Instead of escaping, which is what you should have done, you decide to wait for the killer at hatch and get cocky thinking you are certainly gonna escape.
Problem is, the killer is wraith with a movement speed add-on.
PLS people, never take a win for granted. If you are able to escape through doors or hatch just do it, or else you are risking dying because the game will not end until you reach the end screen.
As much as I despise going against the Wraith this is some funny stuff π

I play 50/50 slightly siding towards killer. Only slightly.
The game is balanced around solo survivor pal, that's a fact. Killers are balanced with solo in mind as the first thing.
So a whole other way of playing the game, with a lot more advantages, does need to either be nerfed, have solo buffed with information perks like kindred basekit and then killer balanced.
I'm against unbalanced games/gameplay, you got me. Unlike you who seems to mostly play survivor as this is the shittiest take I've ever seen. Most players know that swf is a problem, and if your that delusional as not to see it then thats your problem.
And with what your saying you either are a) baiting, in which case good job, b) trolling, in which case ######### you or c) inexperienced in the game and have just overall not played a lot. Or your just lying about playing killer, or you've played very little killer so haven't reached high levels of play. Don't worry, you'll get there eventually.
And once you have played for a while you'll understand what I'm saying.
I'm literally not reading that whole wall of context bruh. You don't know who I play. I'm 50/50 mate. I just play for fun, a laugh. And so what if I'm beaten. It's a game. Unlike people like you sitting on here pissing your pants and crying how the game is so "unbalanced" I'm not delusional to sit and think what I think. My opinion you don't have to agree with me nor do I with you. Personally I think you're one of these that's literally wants everything to be nerfed to make the game easier for yourself. Then again that's none of my business pal. You do you, crack on with the game and have fun or simply uninstall it if it annoys you that much. Not everything needs go be nurfed in this game buddy just because YOU clearly can't handle a 4v1 probably suggest you sit and play Mario Kart instead.
Anyway as I said enjoy. Farewell.

I assume most people who are playing together are on some sort of voice call especially groups of 3-4.
I'm not saying people shouldnt be able to play with their mates and have a chat, stop with the strawmaning. I'm saying either solo should be buffed or swf nerfed with killer then balanced.
If you can give me some evidence to disprove this of course I'll back down as im not certain on this. I think most teams (pc especially have pretty much all on Comms) are in a chat as otherwise what's the point of playing with friends. Whether that means discord on their pc/phone or a party on console.
On pc you can see steam friends, unless their private. Also you can tell by how they play. A lot of the time you can tell by 2 things, one is efficiency and how they are organised and two is by how they play. If they are playing super altruistic and have been playing extremely efficiently I start to assume the are swf. Also hook bombing is common with swf, whilst most solos tend to go for the save rather than a hook bomb due to the fact one person taking a hit usually will not save the person.
Assuming you're killer main then. Pretty sure you wouldn't be so against it and would have a different opinion if you were survivors? I play both so I honestly don't see any reason to nerf swf to be fair... got a killer fan boy club on this forum I guess

Literally in the first game I play today I get face camped and after that I played 4 more games in 2 of them someone got fact camped and in a 3rd someone got hard tunneled the entire game. So out of 5 games only one was even remotely enjoyable because that killer actually patrolled gens and put pressure on all of us so we had to actually play smart. That game ended with 3 of us dying and one escaping. The other games were 3 of us escaping and 1 person dying with most of us never even seeing the killer or getting into a chase screwing our emblems because the killer wanted to hard tunnel and face camp one person. Something needs to be done about this.
This is why most of the time I'm in a chat with survivors. Makes the game more fun and things so much easier.
Those saying "get good or dont get caught first" hardly that simple. Also that's pretty much justifying that it's okay to prevent other survivors to give the hooked one a chance to play the match more than 30 seconds.
I completely agree with you this is wrong on so many levels and is a massive pain in the arse, but the devs don't find anything wrong with it. If killers want their BP they'll stop at nothing to basically take the game hostage. Also you can't win against this because most who play killer main will just bring out the "camping gen or gen rushing " card. Quite literally don't understand that who gen rush considering it takes 80-90 seconds to fix one. And for that I don't think it could be any slower if it tried. 2 minutes for a survivor to die roughly.
If I get a solid teabag on the hook, I kill myself it's that simple. And this is half way people rage quit. Because they literally are up against a solid teabagger. Dont stress yourself out, I know it's a pain but if you get yourself a teabaggee then just #########. And hope that the last gen goes bang in his face and they all get out. That's what I do. Have fun and stay stress free buddy.

So can we make a meaningless list of rules for the survivors to follow? You know, rules that we are then aloud to verbally abuse and shame the survivors for if they don't follow it? Something like, "You are not allowed to unhook another survivor until there is only ONE person left not on a hook." and then call them all "Hookers" when they break that rule? (That isn't a bad word in this context...context is everything...) We can make up ALL sorts of rules where the survivors are in violation for doing something that the game entirely lets them do.
But seriously...can someone explain where survivors get the cajones to make up these rules about what you can and can't do in the game...when so many of them are using coms for instance? That is taking an outside advantage...so in MY book...that is cheating...tunneling and camping in the game are advantages we are allowed to take IN game....but I digress.
Some survivor, please...give me legit explanation on this...help me understand why THIS game and no others make you feel like you can make rules up the other side has to follow, in addition to what the makers of the game have already set out...survivors will absolutely take EVERY....SINGLE...ADVANTAGE that they can...and THEN some...and that is OK by me...I am not going to cuss them out in chat for that...they are trying to win...but hell...if I take ONE advantage of going after someone who is dead on hook I am some sort of SUPER DEVIL....or any number of explicative that are thrown at me. It is justifying abuse and in game reporting doesn't seem to slow it down, so now I am hear to try and make some sense of it. I hear people talk about gen rushing...I for one CAN'T complain about that on this stance. They are there to do objectives as fast as they can by any means...
and to further this point...when I DO play a game at this deliberate disadvantage people act like such entitled jerks...HARDCORE BM tbagging and pointing etc that just further makes me wonder WHY am I doing this for them again??? If you survivors want more sportsmanship, then you REALLY need to make sure you don't abuse people who DO throw you a bone...

I just wondered cos when he first came to the scene I literally run round him with no issues, now I'm vaulting pulling pallets on his bright ass coat and he's literally 50mph still! π

Please tell me how, if I'm not playing nurse or spirit, I can reliably and consistently at least 2k safety pip against a semi decent swf 3-4 man. I don't think you can.
Unless you have an ungodly amount of hours in the game, the power disparity is way too great. I've learned nurse now, and am basically stuck in the place of "I feel bad for most survivor, but I have to tryhard as 1/5 to 1/4 of the survivors are 3-4 man swf. At red ranks this is more so.
Even then the Survivors only need 1k hours to your 5k to beat you. Usually, the average survivor has 1k-2k hours on all survivors (skills are the same) and killers have 1-2k hours between all killers so around 100 hours per killer, probably 300-400 for their mains making it around 50 hours on the others. How can you not see the issue here.
I'm not saying a 5th perk slot is the remedy, but there needs to be one.
I don't see an issue here because 9/10 I'm killer and I'm still in an xbox party myself. So just because the killer has a loss a majority of time people then can't play with their mates and have a chat?
Also unless you're going on to their gaming profile how could you prove they're in a team party chat? π€
