@RoKrueger Reminds me of a game Tru3 posted. A SWF team did that to him after he decimated them as nurse.
LoL. I can asure you I did not played Nurse. I suck big time as Nurse. Last time I played as her for a daily, I equiped like 5 blinks. The match begun and I inmediately blinked 4 or 5 times in a row. 2 survivors disconected right there at the start. It made it easier for me to complete the daily with the other two ;-)
I got to kill one of them and the other escaped. I did not give him/her the hatch mind you, they had already completed the gens so he/she just got away, that's how bad I am with her :-P
The lesson is: Never disconect, not even against a 7 Blinks Nurse, it could be someone like me.
-
Just don't get caught first when you see a killer's secret offering, it's not that hard.
Why do I have to teach tactics to survivors too lazy to figure out on their own but not so lazy as to complain at the forums?

When your teammate spam unhook you so you can't even suicide on the hook. I would rather be dead immediately than experience this.
Haha. It happened to me once. I had recently played a match as a killer where noone escaped, I felt like playing survivor next and got matched in a group with one of my recent victims. She was the one that did the spamming. To her credit, she had warned me she would do that at the survivor's chat before the game started. Sore losers make me laugh so much ;-)
-
So many:
- 3 kills after a death hook that activated Bloodwarden.
- A survivor that got hooked once and got sacrificed as the other 3 survivors stayed near signaling me to leave.
- I recently closed the hatch invisible as Wraith as the last survivor butt-danced on top of it (guess he/she did not know Wraith could do that :-P)
-
It would be a waste of time and resourses to implement that. I won't feel anything sacrificing a soulless husk, there is nothing compared to know you have denyed another human being the sweet taste of victory.
-
That's nothing, what about survivors that stay in a closet indefinitely as the last survivor to deny poor old Myers his achivement where he has to kill them all? I have to admit I find that pretty funny
-
Thank you :,-)

I've had this same thought about the hatchets. On another note, could you imagine Plague puking rainbows?
"could you imagine Plague puking rainbows?"
I did no know what I wanted in life until now :-O

Cleanse totems lazy survivor

@Azurlynx said:
Maybe I should have mentioned I mean killer camping open hatch refusing to close it.
No, because the survivor can still complete generators before EGC activates
-
Lol. I swear it, some survivors get more ridiculous by the day ;-)
-
Once or twice. I let them think I hacked just to mess with them. I get usualy called a camper and tunneler but that's because I actualy stay near a hooked survivor or try my best to eliminate one of them as quickly as posible.
-
Agreed. For old farts like us, the Haloween music is so much scarier than that new sound effect. Keep it for the other killers and effects

This doesn’t fit the popular killer narrative of “its your fault you let NOED proc as you were too lazy to cleanse the totems.” This is said 99% of the time someone complains about NOED.
Yeah, I don't want to be a cliche.... so much. It has happened to me: Gen rushed + NOED cleased right after. You can't win them all
-
@ShrekIsHot I have found this picture just for you. I hope it'll make you feel better ;-)

You can gen rush and counter NOED anyway: Search for the hex totem AFTER you have done all the gens. Or do as I do when I play survivor. Wait untill another survivor gets downed and picked up, then run to an exit gate, open it and leave ;-)
-
Nice experiment. I think 3 games is a rather small sample to draw conclusions from though.
Seems to me like the problem lies in the survivors. As you mentioned: they were feeding you, not doing gens. The only reason just one of them escaped in "game 2" was because you found them after the gens were done and had NOED.
I don't see the point to punish killers that capitalize on survivors' poor judgement and coordination. It is not that hard to equip Borrowed Time and go for the save of just abandon your teammate and leave the trial with your life.
Sure, if you need me to continue testing I would be happy to oblige. I have been doing it free of charge all this time anyway ;-)
-
Im sure you are a charming fellow ;-)
-
I have found that he can now capitalize on Make your Choice using his dream proyection.
I also use NOED because of course I do ;-)
-
I would put him in F tier.....FOR FUUUN AS HELL!!!
Tier lists bore me, a killer is as good as the player using it, taking into account the style of game they are going for.
I used to be really good with old Freddy and I am really, reaaaaaally bad with Nurse and Hilbilly
-
Who cares what the Entity thinks? I do not and I have lots of fun killing, camping and tunneling to my hearts content ;-)

You're right rclark2102. Everyone telling you that you are wrong are actually the ones wrong. You are the only one woke enough to see the potential. Believe in yourself. Believe in competitive DbD. Despite all evidence that it would never work, you believe you beautiful SoaB
@Nonfunctional That made me laugh. Thank you for brighten my day :-)

One more name to my list of "Survivors I should hook and camp first" hehehe

I'd like some kind of tell for dream pallets when you're very close to them. They're literally better than Doctor's hallucination pallets in every conceivable way.
If it explotes in a shower of blood when you throw it... it was a dream pallet. Real pallets don't usually do that.

Wait, I'm confused. How does Legion possibly negate BT?
@tehshadowman33 Well, it does not negate BT, it's more like a Feral Frenzied hit helps you get it quickly out of the way and keep on with the chase.
-
Take that information into account. If they are all in a group, they will probably be overly altruistic (they want all their friends to have fun). So punish them for that. Eliminate one of them ASAP. Camp and/or tunnel the less skilled one of them (most likely the one that equiped a toolbox). It should be easy since they are most likely to swarm the hook.
Once one of them is gone at the beggining, you will notice that they will get less darying. Just keep on hunting and have fun.
Equip a mori if you have one, that speeds things up.
If you get 3 or 4 kills, leave the post game chat open and have a laugh. Bonus points if they start blaming themselves. I usually add "guys, guys! Please don't be like that, you all played poorly in my opinion"
-
I dwell in it. I make fun of sore losers making up excuses and blaming me or their teammates. Their insults amuse me. If they get to escape, I write "gg wp", "can't win them all", "Well done", etc. and move on.
-
Oh, that was a critic about camping? LoL. Totaly missed that. Very funny post though.
You ended with "get 4 disconects everygame" I rarely get that but I feel very happy when it happens, I consider that a PERFECT GAME
-
Camping at the beggining has its uses. It lets you determine if the group is an overly altruistic one or not, if they are smart and continue to do gens, or they swarm the hook, or they just stay there signaling you to leave (this last type of group is the funniest). Anyway it tends to hurt their morale when a survivor dies so quickly
-
You nailed it!
I prefeer to try to kill them all though. Camping serves that purpose most of the time in my experience

I have never liked freddy, he always was annoying and boring for me the most his asleep world and this lalalalalalallalalalala terror radius this is the worst thing in this killer, after 1 min of listening this i want to suicide on hook.
Maybe that is the idea ;-)
-
Yes, yes. Keep thinking that Myers or Legion don´t use NOED....hehehe
-
Thank you for your comments!
-
Nice gide. Thank you. I used to play Legion a lot more (when you could moonwalk) but I have fun playing as them once in a while.
I like to use Feral Frenzy to ignore that pesky Borrowed Time and those body blocks.
I have a build more or less like that but I use NOED instead of Bamboozle. Noone ever expects NOED with Legion. I have turn 1k into a 3k or 4k many times. Silly survivors.
-
@Shaped thank you for asking my not at all foreseeable opinion ;-)
-
I do whatever I want but only when I feel like it ;-)
I will not let any survivor escape and I don't care if the Entity is displeased by my methods. I will collect and enjoy the precious salt from their broken corpses.
-
"snares to actually hold the surv in place for a short time"
That is a great idea! It would not be too powerful if it would only work once every 3 snares or with a cooldown.
-
The drill is AWESOME!!! It was worth every peso it costed me (I live in Argentina)
-
If the teleport was faster, then I would admit that it would be pretty dangerous. Right now being sleep is less of a deal than being sick with The Plage's.....plague. at least she keeps you injured and stinky.
-
Ignore the ones that want your attention, chase the ones that want to hide from you.
-
If you are having problems picking up survivors, use one of this lines:
-"Your skin is so soft, it would make a great mask"
-"Do you live in a corn field? Because I'm stalking you"
-"You should have worn that red dress you tried on earlier."
-
You can get used to the weird radious of the snares.
The problems I see are that the cube add-ons are laughable bad and that there is no real threat or debuff for being sleep, good survivors don't care and just stay sleeped all match.
-
I was trying him out and complaining that they have changed my good old Freddy, but then I busted into laughter when I got my first "fake pallet down" on a survivor after I teleported near them. Ok, Ok, I enjoy the new Freddy. Happy?!
Still: Just like with The Plague, good survivors don't care about waking up. Being sleep is not such a big deal, maybe they could change that.
-
You don't want people stressed out in a survival horror game
-
@LordGlint LOL. Exactly ;-)
-
I would buy it. Unless it has challenges for killers that I would not find fun; for example: hook everyone at least twice, don't hit the unhooked survivor for at least 60 seconds, get 0% hook proximity penalty.... you know, boring stuff that are beneficial to survivors
-
When I play as killer the only person I make sure is having fun is ME. If anyone else is having fun, that's just a happy accident
-
Listen to @Shaped he/she is one of the good killers ;-)
And I mean "good killer" by killer's standars, not survivor's
-
I think his traps should start scatered across the map as nlit is now, only already armed.
-
Playing killer is not for everyone. Sorry if you are too soft to take the heat ;-)
Do as I do: If they start complaining, laugh at them when you have killed then and ignore them when they have escaped.
