I hate this challenge. Bad game design yet again.

I don't even bother trying to rank up on killer. Survivor if I am lucky to get AFK killers. SBMM ruins gaming.

Grabbing survivors off gens is not skillful. There is literally no skill involved if a survivor just ignores you.

Remember those little status icons? I think solo queue are supposed to get by with those, if they ever implement them.

I hate getting hook farmed this way but it happens. There was a time when I didn't have BT and did the same. Could be new survivors who don't know the etiquette.

I was super disappointed to see yet another charm that should really have been part of the last rift. Players want skins most of all.

There is no warning I can find. Where exactly is it? I checked the Steam page, there is nothing in the EULA and the manual link doesn't work. It only has a mature content warning.

If you can go to the trouble of recording evidence it's worth reporting. Apparently EAC is being updated to address cheats. Or just take an extended break like I am.

I know the layout, I just don't like the way it feels to play M1 killer on RPD. Too much Work. The map was designed for slower run speed (play RE:2 demo). I miss Hawkins, that had decent turns and corridors for the faster run speed DbD has.

Hard to pick one record, or even a few. But here's an old favourite by Godspee. Sounds bit dated now because everyone and their donkey copied them.
I still remember the first time I heard Dummy, made a copy from my friends cassette. At double speed it sounded funny.

Then how come people that haven't played since December are logging in and getting it? Is it so hard to believe that this is bugged? I mean this is DBD we're talking about. I've literally tried everything on this forum and nothing has worked. I got on my brother's ps4 (he hasn't played since nemesis came out.) And when I loaded it up he got the secret video and the charm and no of course he doesn't own the ringu dlc. I've been playing nearly almost every day since then... it's bugged dude. I believe the secret video plays randomly but I also believe that it simply doesn't work for quite a bit of people. It's like the shards they gave out for Bubba, not everyone got those so they had to redo it.
As I see it, BHVR intended it to be a secret easter egg but I agree that it could well be bugged. Even charms that were supposed to roll out on a simple flag like the Auric cell didn't go smoothly. I'm sure that they don't want to spoil the discovery just yet. I hope we don't miss out in the process.

If you look at the files they have some alphabetic pattern. Q for Qatar. My favourite is calling survivors "campers."

The dude has all the rights to believe LGBT is wrong. The same way I believe HE'S wrong. But no.... people don't want public discourse anymore, they care about their feelings 24/7.
People can have complex beliefs and contradict themselves too. Take the ridiculous cancellation of Tchaikovsky for example, because of the Ukraine-Russia situation. The man was gay, anti-semitic, but cancelled because he's Russian. Yet he also defended Jews he knew and gave a scolarship to a Jewish violinist.

I'd like to see a MM fixed (backfill/long wait/skipped lobbies) and seizure-inducing flashlight macros addressed. I don't expect much, however.

My guess is it is pretty broken as far as how it was intended to roll out. Look back at Auric cell charm didn't get to all players and that was quite a simple trigger.

Be careful about these "bots". I had one that was putting trap then swing repeatedly. Some survivors decided to farm some BP from him, and then when 3 survivors were all healing up in close range, he comes out of AFK and kills them all.

I thought DbD already patched this? Oh, I see a tentative fix in 5.6.0
Tentatively fixed an issue that causes players to disconnect during Steam maintenance. -
I love the original film so looking forward to the release. It's already available to preorder but I'll wait for reviews. The deadites look fun. I hope it comes to Steam.

I like it, pretty cute look. Would be nice to have different hair colour options with the glasses though. Maybe something for a modder to recolour.

You could open a support ticket with BHVR and tell them what happened. This gives them a chance to do something in private.
I think if you can afford to, maybe get a lawyer and potentially sue for damages. Or maybe reach out to a YouTube lawyer like LegalEagle to see if you might have a case for negligence on BHVR part. Could be an interesting video and the publicity of the issue might be enough for BHVR to do something.
Might also be worth reaching out to Gameinformer and see if they can tweet a PSA about the issue. It might also gain some traction.

A. It wouldnt, many other games have this without any que issues.
B. You disable the unranked mode for ppl that have a certain devotion level (account level). Would also reduce the amount of players to be split from the ranked mode.
C. Ye they will never admit it xD
Is possible to still have high devotion but be bad at the game to want to play in unranked.

Does it have to cost 1485 though? Nurse has outfits where her legs have exposed bones, Wraith's Blight bong has a chest cavity and Trapper's got an exposed nipple.

Seeing Sadako gameplay earlier, game looked fun, but the grind and MM issues burnt me out (again) which is why I took a break.
Since neither of these issues have been addressed it's probably better I don't play. I'd say I'm at 7/9. A younger me would have just plowed back in and found myself hating it, and feeling bad about having spent more money on it.
