i usually use Franklins but sorry that’s not a cure all. Strong survivors just rotate back around and pick their item up
Blood warden? garbage perk.
If i have a team that has all flashlights,
Infectious Fright
Franklins
Lightborn
Overwhelming Presence
If i have team of full of toolboxes
Dying light
sloppy Butcher
franklins or Overcharge
Hope this helps.

We've nerfed plenty of survivor perks as well, if time isn't a factor. Let's not forget that Sprint Burst used to have a 20 second cooldown and recharge mid-chase. Several nerfs later, you could still stack it with Lithe, Balanced Landing, and Dead Hard. Nowadays Exhaustion exists, and it doesn't cooldown while running at all.
Double pallets are gone, DS doesn't activate the first time you pick someone up, MoM has been massively toned down, instaheals are no more, instablinds are dead and gone, vacuums have lost their suck- the list goes on. There's changes to both sides, we're not picking favourites. Sometimes there's going to be changes that are great for you, sometimes the pendulum swings back the other way.
You still buff it in a way. Do you even play your own game? You guys said that the game goes to fast but yet you nerf ruin. Just because of bunch of rank 20 crybabies don't want to learn how to hit a simple skill check. . But no matter what, people will always find a way to abuse things. But keep doing what you do. You guys are doing a pretty good job so far.

Why not use Franklin's and bloodwarden?

His power IS electricity based...
I was being sarcastic...

If i get down close to basement by Bubba then yeah I would DC. You robbed me from a challenge and I will do the same
-
What do you want the Devs to do? Make him where he can do gens and open up a gate?
-
@Latin_Kidd92 said:
Since we are here, that perk should give you tokens every time another survivor is hooked instead of whenever your teammates die and give you like 8-10 meters per token up to like 5 or 6 tokens.
I think the perk should reward you for outliving your teammates. I think the way they made it is good now.
-
And then the Devs wonder why people DC
-
There is White Noise 2 so i am good.

This is why they didn't nerf him
So Taking away his ability to make people scream by walking and have to wait 3 secs after blast isn't a nerf? Going from tier 3 madness to tier 1 after snapping out of it is a buff?
-
Nerfing the doctor is stupid tbh.
-
A video would be nice. From the sounds of it, you had no choice.

I dont know if tou notice, but i'll male it simple, devs balance the game around low rank survivors "fun"
If you go with your skill against potatoes, devs will see that as:"this killer is op on low ranks" ragardless of who is using it.
Tldr: if you dont want more nerfs than wjat we are already having, please stop deranking willingfully.
Hope i made myself clear....
Purple and Red ranks play way too sweaty. Lower ranks play more relaxed. So can you blame them for doing that?
-
I feel like OoO was perfect the it was. Either way, the killer can still catch up and down them.

So i had a match where i was Trapper and I was chasing some dude and he ran to the shack which i had previously trapped. He stepped on a trap and proceeded to dc then sent me a message saying i denied you my kill and no bloodpoints for you. So why bother play the game if you just gonna dc.
You can't hook what's not there

I think that you'll find that 99% of survivors utterly despise the game map. And with the current prevalence of Myers and Ghostface, it'd make those maps really hard to play on with those killers around. They're already hard enough as it is against those killers.
If they go by that idea than everyone would be forced to play it.
-
They are different than Legion. They have different mechanics.
-
Everyone would put an offering where it'll be more powered like Haddonfield or The Game
-
Make it where we can see the stealth killers like before
-
This what happens when new players complain about everything

but also fnaf killer when?
The guys on the forums seriously underestimate the potential a FNAF character could have, especially with all the lore and potential powers.
They could legit have a scary killer come from that with designs from the 3rd and 4th games.
I don't think it will work tbh.
-
Have you ever consider using fan made music for the killers' chase music?
-
Pyramid Head or Bubble Head Nurse from Silent Hill
-
People complain that he takes away stealth. There is nothing wrong with doctor. People just complain about anything.

Please can we remove this horrible map from the game. Its terrible to play and it's ugly as hell.
That means BHVR has to reimburse everyone in someway
-
If you want keys to be removed then Moris should be removed to make it fair
-
Object of Obsession was a good counter but people complain too much. In my opinion, the devs shouldn't mess with it.

No, it really isn't.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/996875#Comment_996875
And yes, it is. Not all of us are on high end gaming PC's. There have also been games with invisible totems for me, and by that I mean unless I was running Small Game, I'd literally never know of their existence.
No I'm not a new player, I'm rank 6 Survivor consistently, I have been playing for a year and I'm on Xbox, which makes Great skill checks very hard. Before either of you ask.
A lot people are whining about the doctor making people scream and how hard ruin skill checks are. Most of them are new.

Playing killer for a month changed my complete perspective on the game. More survivors should try it. I'm not talking about playing killer for a few games but a whole month. I was so glad to get back to playing survivor. Playing killer against good teams is ridiculously stressful.
You can always tell which survivor's have played killer at red ranks for awhile. They are a lot less toxic.
It did changed mine as well. I just hate to sweat through so much. I like to play casual and for fun but that's not a thing anymore unless its custom game/KYF.

Agreed, hitting greats isnt that hard and neither is finding the totems because totem spots are laughable at best.
To fix the new player tactic all they'd have to do is actually put new players with other new players, but that requires a functioning matchmaking system, which we have seen is not a thing in DbD.
It is the new players who don't want to learn the game that are ruining everything.
-
@Peppa_Pigsaw said:
See you did the one thing that a lot of survivor players refuse to do. I have respect for you too broski.
I see why noed and ruin is a standard. I don't understand why they are nerfing ruin. As a survivor main, its not that hard to work through it.

I've pretty much entirely moved on at this point, hopefully on to a game where the developers actually care about their playerbase. Any suggestions? I've been playing Witcher 3 recently but tbh it gets boring. I'd like something similar to this but man it's hard to find. I'm on PlayStation 4. No PC to play on so no computer games. Any suggestions?
Try the game White Noise 2. It is similar to DBD but more balanced and actually more scarier. The problem is that people barely play it.
-
It was better before where they use the average rank to determine the rank of the killer
-
hit boxes needs to be fix. Maps needs to be redesigned. Bugs needs to be fix.
-
This what happens when someone from one side doesn't know what they are talking about wanting to change things. Doctor is good the way he is now. Don't understand why people think he is unfair.

no no senior fnaf no belong here

read refueling generator objective in feedback forum
if you don't get rid of ruin and make gens longer to fix, eventually almost everybody is going to stop playing the game. the main reason ruin gets used is to give killers more time. you changing ruin as you said you will is not going to do anything for killers.
so what would this mean...even less killers, even longer ques for survivors
most killers and new killers don't get chance to do much. i can play expert level on most other games, so why can i not succeed as a killer on your game?
please do something about this before players will go on a strike and not play your game or purchase anything from you.
listen to the community!
Killers are going on strike. because of that, lower rank killers are forced to play with high ranks survivors, longer waiting queue and more DC's.
-
The devs took the easy way out and nerf whatever they can. Balanced Landing was god the way it was. Object of Obsession is good the way it was. All we ask is for the maps reworks, fix the gen speed. And fix the bugs as well.
-
Pyramid Head would be a great killer.

NO

It's a unique idea, but some Killers require a few things before being considered. Is the license obtainable? What information do we know about the Killer? Does the Killer fit within the games mechanics and balance? etc. (That's my idea of how they go about it anyways, i'm not a dev so... it could be very different from how they go about making chapters).
I don't mind these ideas, but it needs more than a "should it be added" question... perhaps... if you're interested, you could make up some idea for these scenarios?
Here's the link to the Share Your Work "Creations" Sub-forum: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/Creations
Give it a try, or don't, up to you.
I would like to see an emotional torment killer. Something like the Guilt status that makes a survivor doing everything slow from movement to repair to heal, etc. I feel like Silent Hill deserves a good spotlight. Pyramid Head or the Bubble Head Nurse. The survivors could be Harry Mason, James Sunderland, Or Heather Mason. I will check the Link out :)

Well Resident Evil Resistance is coming soon, and its sounds like its similar to DBD
I am excited for it! The good thing about RER is a bit complex and each character has their own mechanics and not copy from one another vs DBD where we sit on gens and run in circles and each characters can have the same perks.

Yes. The devs don't understand one basic concept; communication. So much of the frustration about changes come from the fact that they keep everything secret and then spring random unnecessary changes that nobody needed or wanted on the community. They're killing the game because they don't know how to run a business.
I have noticed that. Some perk changes wasn't necessary and the maps are busted. They say they listen but i feel like money talks in this case.
-
I feel like the devs don't know what they're doing and they are running out of ideas. I think the company should hire new devs that actually plays the game from both sides of killer and survivors.
