  • That and it would end up making most killers weaker then expected

  • @luka2211 said:

You could say killers shouldn't complain about anything until something is done to soloQ? The argument goes both ways :F

    Well said

  • A small buff to almost every interaction in the game is as good as a big buff to a few

Resilience is good enough as is... if they do anything this perk would not be the same

  • An experienced Pig player knows better then to chase a survivor who has a RBT on... at least I do

She relies on chaos, when the survivors are trying to do everything while not knowing who's doing what where, or even where she is

Sometimes it takes "unskillful interactions" to get through mid game (where she is the strongest <IMO>)

  • "Interactive gameplay" is what chases, looping, pallets and vaults?

If that it right then the fact you have a trap on your head means you lost

Plus you then need to interact with the boxes to get it off... cause you have time the Pig doesn't

It's "unfun" to have 2 gens pop before I find a survivor (because they chose to play stealthy)

Can I ask your playstyle as a survivor? I believe having that information is useful (since I am "confused")

  • I've gotten around 20 trap kills... my first kill ever in this game was a RBT kill... I'd say that you are the type of player whom waits till the last moment to get the trap off only to fail... so you're going to blame RNG for the mistake you made...

  • How about increasing the regession rate to be equal to progession... that would be worth keeping it a hex perk

  • Kindered: (to know where the killer is after the hook and if the killer stays... and where my team is)

We'll make it: (quick heals after the unhook)

Lithe: (only exhustion perk I have... lol good for killer shack / basement hooks)

Spine chill: (know if the killers coming my way... and that little extra boost ;)

  • I want to expand on the SAW chapter:

    Killer: Det. Hoffman

    Terror Radius: 32 meters

    Height: tall

    Movement Speed: 4.6 m/sec.

Power: the shotgun collar- same mechanics as the RBT (only activates when a Gen is completed, and searching jigsaw boxes for a key)

Starts with a base of 4, but being in proximity ~20m to another survivor with a collar on speeds up time left

Weapon: a stiletto knife (wipe off animation would be the same as the Pig)

Perk1) "It's my game now": failed skillchecks reveal survivor aura for 1/2/3 seconds if within TR

Perk2) you will be tested: start with 5 tokens (lose token for every Gen done), damaging gens will increase regression by 50%/75%/100%

Perk3) overseer: all gens will start with a white aura (for 30/45/60 seconds) or repairs start (the aura will change to yellow until repairs stop, then It'll go to red)

    Survivor: Officer Rigg

Perk1) Obsessed with time: when starting repairs on a Gen skillchecks will occur every 5 seconds till the Gen has 25%/15%/10% progress any great skillchecks hit during that time will grant a token (up to 3) the next Gen you work on all good skillchecks will be great skillchecks (1 token will be taken per skillcheck)

Perk2) I'm saving everyone: the aura of the obsession is revealed to you, healing speed is increased by 20%/25%/50% while healing the obsession but your aura is shown to the killer also. After healing the obsession 3 times you gain the endurance status effect for 10/20/30 seconds any damage taken will make you the obsession (using this perk will decrease the chance of being the obsession)

Perk3) see what I see: if you are the obsession this perk activates: causes you to see the killers aura if they are using an aura reading perk (i.e. BBQ you see the killer for 4 seconds no matter the range... NC same thing) 3 times but can regain tokens by being in chase for a total of 30 seconds (10 seconds per token)

  • I run with: Kindered, Lithe, SC, and We'll make it

I sometime replace WMI with BT...

I don't have every perk for survivor but found these work for me (for the most part)

  • I do want to see BHVR implement more rewards in the game (the rift) though first thing I'd like to see would be iri shards

  • I play a lot of Pig with good results... and the map changes will help me out just a little bit

  • As a player of the killer verity (with some survivor mixed in)... I'd say that I agree with some addons being kept like rare and higher but lose lesser ones... unless the add on was used like styptic or BNP

All ranks are full of immersion on xbone. I'm a rank 3 survivor. Usually see one or two urbans on the aftergame scoreboard.

I've been seeing UE used more recently... Rank 7 killer on Xbox (even though rank doesn't matter much)

  • Sabotage is a Jake Park perk... allows Sabo without toolboxes

  • I think basing "roles" would be better suited to match what is currently available i.e:

Survivor: Survivalist (perks centered around surviving the match), Objectivist (perks centered around locating and repairing Gens), Boldness (perks centered around locating the killer and totems), and Altruism (perks centered around locating saves and healing other survivors)... and of course you'd have the Generalist (perks that provide utility and/or flexibility in a match)

  • While SWF can be difficult to deal with... not all 4 man SWF's are tryhards... though bringing solos on par with 4 man SWF's should be a thing the devs start addressing... short answer would be to limit perk options from SWF (but that'll be hard to implement)... or just buff killers

New item: Walkie Talkie- allow surivor(s) to talk to one another... but static audio will play while in use and survivor is immobile while using... and cannot be used while on hook (obviously)... it works like an open mic if only one survivor has it, 2-4 will allow comms from all players

Common walkie talkie: allows 10 seconds of communication to team

    Uncommon walkie talkie: 15 seconds

    Rare walkie talkie: 20 seconds

Very rare walkie talkie: 25 seconds

Ultra rare walkie talkie: 30 seconds

Addons include batteries for longer use, headsets to decrease static noise range, an ultra rare addon to allow for use on the move but with shorter duration

Mori: grant the ability to kill all survivors once all survivors have been hooked

Keys: IDK what to do with these... but here goes, only opens hatch after a successful difficult skillcheck and an animation plays out

Hatch: only spawns when 1 survivor remains in the match or when all gens are done... if it's just the one survivor then the hatch will spawn and open, if it's when all gens are done the it spawns closed till only one remains

You do realize they're Ultra Rare for a reason, right? Tombstone Piece is the only exception, but it's still Very Rare. Your changes would make a good portion of these add-ons nowhere near worthy of their rarity and not really worth running.

Your Coxcombed Clapper would work better with a new add-on.

You lose EW3 the moment you kill someone with Tombstone Piece.

Mother-Daughter Ring disables your ability to see scratch marks while phasing. It requires the Spirit to be good at tracking only using the environment.

Black Incense only works if the Survivor is broken and Plague can't pressure everyone at once. She can only go after 1 or 2 at a time.

Thank you for saying this... my version is too long winded (lol)

  • The Wraith doesn't need to be nerfed... which is basically what your suggestion would be

The Coxcombed Clapper is an ultra rare addon for that reason... if anything replace Blind Warrior with Deafed Warrior and give it the ability to mute audio cues for 30 seconds after a surprise attack

The tombstone piece change you ask for is already in the game (Judith's Tombstone)... its balanced as is due to it considerably draining Evil Within apon killing... so at most its a 2k then you need to regain EW3...

The only thing I'd do to Iri Head is making it so you can't have more than one... its fine other then the fact you can have up to 3 of them... and it's not like it makes the hatchet 100% accurate... even missing one hatchet (using Iri Head can lose you a match cause she would need to reload after missing)

The Mother Daughter Ring is really fast I'll give you that... but making it the same as other addons while leaving scratch marks invisible isn't the way to go... using M-D Ring is (really fun to use) a double-edged sword IMO if you misuse it then you're A) out of position and B) have no power till recovered

Totally agree with The Clown needing to be reworked

The Plague must be able to keep all survivors throwing up to get full effect of this addon.... she cannot pressure all 4 survivors at once... the Black Incense is good in a 1v1 situation not a 4v1

  • The Pig is also an option for (but not necessarily a counter to DS and BT) find survivor down survivor trap and hook survivor and repeat

DON'T CHASE THE TRAP... I know RNG is a thing that can help or hurt but take advantage of it...

I don't know the actual times but I found that by the time the first survivor got the trap off they don't have DS active...

In general sometimes its ok to hit BT survivors... they have to mend not on gens (it's like having Legion power)

As a survivor, I hate this idea, but I can totally picture the slo-mo "oh #########" moment when survivors realize the door is closing, running for all their worth to get to the dwindling gap before it closes. 😂

But.... my fun... you cant.... noooooooo...

Or only have the Pig do it... "Game Over"

  • I would like to be able to get some of the skin... but no money (lol)

I like how different some of them are... and yea some of them are subpar but the thought is still there

And now they are going to recolor all of the new skins... not a big fan of it... but for those players whom either can't or don't want to spend real money on those skins hopefully the devs do something about it

  • I think it would be cool (funny) if the killer can close the gate if it has been opened for 60 seconds...

Imagine you hook a survivor (2nd stage) and the others heal up open the door and go in for the save... but you know where that door is so you wait by the door... save happens (they heal cause you're not around) they bolt for the door only to see you close it in their faces...

  • I think survivors should see each others perks (but not the tier) and what verity if they have an item... as solo survivors

Killers have ZERO need to see everything before going into the game... allow the survivors playstyle to give hints to perks

Also it would end up being -see multiple DS brings ebony mori-... no thanks

Hell even offerings can give you a clue as to who has what perk...

  • I would say... 2k with two escape but injured or slugged

I'd also say map, perks and items will have more to do with the outcome then anything...

  • I'd say corrupt intervention

Or surge... but it's very situational

  • I can't draw... I'm a better story teller

All the power to you... you can do it

  • Spend time with the killers... don't just play one match with a killer then go to the next...

Play 2-5 matches as one killer, then play a match as survivor and after play a different killer (repeat)

At least lvl up killers to 15 so all perk slots are open... and check the shine when a new one is released you never know if a perk you want could be on it,or a perk that could be useful to you right now/ later on

Play with the mindset of learning every match

  • It's all tied to the fact that killer sounds has been bugged for what seems like a year or two

It seems like a audio bug IMO but I won't hold my breath

  • An offering to open both basements but take 4 hooks away... and have it secret so the surprise 2nd basement is more enjoyable

  • It's the small things (or big thing considering maps) that will start to add up

Remember Rome wasn't built in a day... but it was ruined in 3

The devs are still working (from home) to make this a game worth having and being played

  • A lot of players feel they need to elaborate on how they formed their opinions on how they see the game as a whole... so it's easier to say x main or y main to say what side their opinions came from

Though I understand what you are saying... its only the negative versions of players opinions that are shared/ reacted to

So as a player of this game I truly want this game to thrive... and I feel that the changes only justify that the devs are of the same mindset

  • So what I learned is that players either extend GG as good manners or as a token to all players skill during the match

Am I wrong in saying that?

  • Usually I am the first one to die (due to my own mistakes and the others not playing like a "team")

Plus I have another game that is team oriented so when I get bored of one I go to the other

Choice of perks so people know my playstyle.

    Never dropped a survivor.

I think this person want to know why you picked the perks you did...

  • RIP, me too... some perks are better off being T1

Or need to be worded better... lol

It definetly helped by itself especially that I'd hit a survivor with feral frenzy and the gen would regress for about 20 - 30 seconds, discordance also helped with this as it allowed me to hit more people, but ruin would have been fine by itself.

Cool... with Legion coming up in the archives it would be nice to get used to how they play

Also I have been playing them a little more often and have them at lvl 50... so here's to having decent luck in bloodwebs

Usually destroyed mid match, very rarely early or late match, however on both of my 1ks it was destroyed very early.

Ok... makes sense thanks for answering me

And by the way is Ruin good by itself or paired with Discordance?

  • Can you recall the number of games in which Ruin was cleaned... and if it happened in the begginning/middle/end of the match?

  • I don't mean typing GG at the end

I want to know what makes a good game... stop with the typing bs

I feel like I have had plenty good games but I'd rather not type GG at the end or send messages

What makes go into your next match still remembering what happened in the last match

I like games where at least both sides get some progress (Killer gets a kill or two, Survivors get 2-3 gens minimum). This is generally why I would say GG, but personally I'm not satisfied unless I pip.

Understandable... but at least you have a clear goal to go for

  • The worst killer is the one you don't play as all that often....for me it's the chainsaw bros then idk... deathslinger (but he's new so...)

  • I think the devs need to increase the regression on Ruin to be just as threatening as before

Make it 400% (or equal to repair rate for those whom don't know) and survivors (when they find out its being used) will either finish the Gen their on then find the totem or they will immediately go for the totem sacrificing early game progress to get late game progress

Then on the killers side they will have more confidence to chase survivors off gens while injuring, downing and hooking

And I do agree that the Gatekeeper emblem needs to be adjusted to what the game is now

I used to run Ruin with Huntress Lullaby for added effect ( and those game slowed right the hell down if both totems stayed up)

Now I do use corrupt intervention... and it freed up a perk slot for my Pig (and the others but I am a pig main)

    Ah, I see.

What makes a good round for me is me managing something I'm happy with/proud of in the match.

Eg. I ran Huntress recently for a daily and because I'm garbage with her I get a 1 kill, 3 escape game. However, I managed a cheeky axe toss all the way through the Exit Gates to hit one of the Survivors waiting in there at the end, so that single play pretty much made the match for me. Same goes if I get a mindgame that was fun, I successfully jumpscare someone, if I think I managed well under pressure, or I just do better than I thought I was going to against high ranked Survivors with a Killer I'm no good at.

Good for you... I had a game as Pig in which my snoot was boobed... and had a Congo line going... (I was using Rancor so my obsession fallowed me the whole game) and when the gens were done and a gate was at like 95ish% I chased my obsession only for him to get sandbagged by his team... he died inside the gate... it was hilarious

  • @OniWantsUrLocation said:

When I play killer: I don't type gg if the survivors are beaten within 2-3 minutes. I mean that can happen when you play Oni. I think that gg would disrespect my opponents.

When I play Survivor: When the gens are gone in no time. No gg required. Same reason.

Good point... I want to know if players have a "goal" or "condition" that would be a good game...

Also again I don't mean in game GG I mean as a player

Like I enjoy games that challenge me but I also like games that have a fun or entertaining moment

  • If it is all about fun then why not chat with the other side

Especially with Archives being a thing...

I am willing to help the other side with challenges

  • I don't mean typing GG at the end game screen I mean in general... I don't care if you type GG at the end... I want to know what makes a good game for you

  • Cool... I feel the same... a match that has everything is a really good game

  • @Salty_Pearl said:

I'm ok with the perk but the only problem I have with it is that it almost forces you to either be slugged or to slug. For Survivors and Killers slugging is really boring and it ruins gameplay. Don't get me wrong, it's a good tactic but doing it against DS is a pain.

How do you feel about DS?

After playing survivor without it (yellow ranks... I don't play survivor much)... I've come to understand why players use it

It does try to get the killer away from you after being unhooked... but it doesn't stop the the killer from downing you after

DS is a debatablely broken perk... killer players hate the 60 second timer on it, survivors hate that it can only be used once... with two opportunities

Killers will hardcore tunnel if that is the playstyle they picked... survivors will run at the killer if that is the playstyle they picked

Yes I belive that DS is fine in its current state (but would like to see it tinkered with a bit)
