Yeah. I also hope they do something about the fact that Ghostface is like a copy of Myers. Maybe a rework for Ghostface could be a good idea so they wouldn't be so much alike? What do you think?

Ghosteface is modern Michael imo. His power is basically the same but with some tweaks to make it more interactive. I like Michael getting stronger the more he stalks because it's like how he is in the movies, but tier 3 needs to feels actually lethal. They need to double down on his tier 3 being strong, or the aspect of him being stealthy. Right now he's a weird mix that leads to a terrible early game and tier 3 not being strong enough to compensate for it.

  • Nurse is the worst killer in the game according to their "stats", keys absolutely need to be nerfed otherwise the devs will prove that they are survivor sided.

Yeah I know lol, I don't think I've ever been that random before haha.

It sucks because Myers is such a cool character but he's really boring to play as and not that good. In my opinion he needed an update before Demi.

It would be cool if his mask got bloodier each time you hit someone lol.

I don't see how that would impact his gameplay at all but it would look cool.

thank you least you see logic of this. the ones who wont is the ones who use killer all the time so they will see it as an easy win for them all the time cos all they have to do is keep sending it out at you and you have no chance to do a gen or anything else so the surv's get screwed over.

Ah yes, lets give one of the weakest killers in the game a nerf that completely disables a part of their power (Victor's stealth). Stop complaining and learn how to actually counter Victor instead of relying on perks.

  • Michael just an outdated killer in general. In my opinion he needs an update of some kind to make his power more interactive.

I agree. I think that they can be a negative for both sides. Firstly because the killer has to waste time breaking it, which especially in chase is a huge setback, and also because many loops are virtually useless after the wall is broken, leaving the survivor with fewer options. I forgot to mention breakable walls initially, but I think that majority of them are problematic.

Breakable walls should make the killer have to think if they want to break them or not. Like "if I break this then the survivors have new path to use, but so will I". The one wall on Midwitch that opens up a new staircase is a prime example of this.

  • The real only perks I think are "crutch's" are Ds+Ub. Dead hard is also very annoying under certain conditions.

  • I really hate beakable walls. They completely killed my enjoyment of MacMillan.

Pyramid Head shouldn't be able to spam his punishment of the damned so fast, I think it needs to have a soft timer as to when it can be launched in succession of one that has already been launched.

    Not this again...

  • Keys and the hatch should both be removed and they should use the aura reading keys to buff maps.

Agreed, Re 7 really did went back to what made Re scary in first place from what I've heard, its arguably one of the best RE games if not around the top 5 section. Re 2 remake was good, I liked the encounters I had with Mr. X or Birkin they were pretty fun, but Re 3... well you get the picture. Nemesis to me was scary but he was however more annoying than scary. Sure I get it he's supposed to be the ultimate hitman/hunter/Tyrant, but there is a time when the monsters you are chased by become scary and when they don't, Nemesis had a lot of abilities in which made him able to catch Jill a lot easier then Mr.X would've but that didn't make me feel the fear of this guy, rather the stress and me going "Aw come on this ######### again, really?". Mr. X though simple in design he still was able to induce great fear by the sound of his boots, the fact if he grabs you and you don't have a knife then GG, that I found terrifying. Now Re 7 brought a lot of great scares and is kinda my personal favorite, mostly because I don't tend to prefer the simple non giant as all hell monsters that the RE 2 and RE 3 gave, I tend to just sit there and ask " how is this scary", instead I like the more realistic, and more human like killers instead, for example like Outlast, Silent hill, and so on. I also absolutely love the hillbilly take that was done too, as someone who grew up around hillbillies this was great to see something as scary as all hell could be made around that area. I do hope they make more games like Re 7 or Outlast because those games set the bar for what horror should be, not the cheesy BS we tend to get.

Outlast is also my second favorite horror series and it used to be my favorite before i got into Re. I never really played much of silent hill but I enjoyed the gameplay I have seen of it. Mr. X was terrifying to me, one of the main reasons being; if he doesn't know where you are, his Ai will walk around and search each room until he finds you, even areas that aren't even loaded.

  • Re 7 is my favorite horror game, so it's good to see some people talking about it. I would really love to see a chapter about in dbd. The 2 remake was also really good, I didn't like the 3 remake as much.

  • He is terribly optimized for console. I wish they put more consideration into people who want to play him on platforms other than pc.

  • I wish more killers had Christmas outfits. Clown's looks really cool though.

  • I wish he was actually good on console.

  • Legion: Surge, Pop, BBQ, Bamboozle.

    Freddy: Ruin, Undying, Save, BBQ.

  • I mean the killer really overreacted but I can understand why he was mad because he would have probably won if you hadn't found that key.

Freddy, is not fine the way he is. Nowhere near fine. It actually wouldn't, old Freddy was way more fun, and this revamped version, would be way more interactive and refreshing; while still keeping Freddy strong.

Hag, kinda the only thing needed really. Otherwise it means changing her entire power lol.

Spirit, her 'mindgames' are one-sided. Definitely in need of changing.

Deathslinger, definitley in need of this change. Much like Spirit his gameplay consists of one-sided mindgames.

Demogorgon, this is needed because atm, he is insanely strong at zoning and chasing, simultaneously. If you commit to using your power, you should be committed into it or suffer a small delay between the two, due to the fact there needs to be a fair window for survivors in chase to react.

Oni, encourages players not to slug.

Plague, more to do with fixing her emblems.

Doctor, a lazy tracker with good anti-loop/zoning. Definitely needed in order to restrict the abusability. Especially when you look at how braindead his add-ons are.

    Trapper, thanks.

    Wraith, thanks again lol.

Pig, she should never be able to defend boxes, they are a delay tactic with lethal effects. Her fun comes from the ambush and grabs, not running around making survivors frustrated that the player is holding them hostage to boxes. The extra second makes it so the Pig can stand earlier and make it harder for a survivor to hear the blade audio.

Bubba, he is extremely braindead when it come to his power. Making it so he is commited to it and giving survivors needed room to breathe in certain scenarios is definitely needed. If you mess up your power, especially one with immense camping potential like his, you should be punished for it.

    Clown, thanks.

Pyramid Head, yeah, the necessary changes were already implemented, this is just something else that would be nice.

It seems to me that you just really hate killers that can fake their power or cancel it fast. A lot of these killers are mid tier or bad though. Just because they're annoying doesn't mean they need to be nerfed. Spirit's midgames are not "one-sided", I used to hate her until I actually player myself and I realized it takes skill to master her. Old Freddy was way more annoying then current Freddy. I much prefer having an actual strong Freddy than having one that would always lose but be annoying while he does it.

According to the RE wiki, remake stage 1 Nemesis is over 8.7 feet tall. He'd have to be shrunk down to around 7 feet tall to fit through some of the doorways.

So I was right? This is confusing.

  • @B_Random said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1799100#Comment_1799100

I mean he's 7 feet tall. I don't think that's really tall. Plague is really tall but you know. But, I made sure not to make him TOO STRONG. Since yes, he is strong. But not TOO STRONG. It's like Nurse. He's the strongest when the player knows how to play them right.

I thought Nemesis was more like nine feet tall, guess I was wrong. It wouldn't be a stretch to me is he became the best killer in the game.

  • I don't know if this is just me but, this killer seems really strong, like REALLY strong. Which I guess makes sense for Nemesis. I don't think Nemesis would fit for this game though, he's simply to tall. The devs would have to rework a lot of maps to accommodate his size.

Could you be more specific, please. Since a good amount of these are buffs.

    Okay then.

Freddy: Why? He's fine fine the way he is, reverting him back to a slightly better version of his old form would suck.

Hag: It's fine I guess, aside from making it harder for her to camp I don't think this would change much.

Spirit: Unneeded. This removes a lot of her mindgames. Also what's the point of making survivors quiet but making their actions louder? It wouldn't change much.

Deathslinger: As much as I hate him he's a pretty bad killer so this seems unneeded.

Demi: Why? Again Demi isn't even that good, faking his shred is like his main strength why make it harder?

Oni: Might make him too strong, I would have to see how it people would play him.

Plague: A buff, but one that likely wouldn't change much.

Doctor: Same with Freddy he's not as good as people say he is. He doesn't need any nerfs, especially not to his static blast.

    Trapper: Genuinely a good buff.

Wraith: A small but welcome QOL change.

Pig: Why are we nerfing Pig? The Pig player can make informed decisions during the match about weather to protect box's or pressure gens. This nerf gets rid of so much forethought which is makes her fun to play. The undetectable buff doesn't do anything because it already takes a second for her terror radius to go back to normal when she stands up.

Bubba: Again what is with making killers powers harder to fake? Unneeded.

Clown: A fine change, like Wraith it's a small but nice QOL buff.

Pyramid Head: Whatever, some extra bp for survivors would be nice.

It's easy to be killer. I will kill everyone on average 75% of the time without using any perks, and with top teir perks and an offering I barely try and wipe everyone out. I main as a survivor and I've never had to try as hard to kill the survivors as I have to try to survive... I think the balancing issues comes from all the high powered killer perks that can be stacked and used like a crutch to to fix a bad player/killer weakness, or to augment their strength to the point of being OP. So maybe they need to nerf the best killer perks a little bit.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mugRenBeRw0

    ..

  • Imma be straight, a lot of these just seem like unneeded nerfs to me.

  • Bubba- Bubba isn't evil, he was more so forced by his family to kill. If the survivors showed him empathy I think he'd warm up to them.

Twins- Charlotte and Victor aren't evil, they were hunted down for being a "demon spawn" even though it was just a birth defect. If the more modern survivors made it clear to her that they thought she wasn't a abomination I think she would be down to help.

  • Well I kinda agree with that, but they did just confirm they are buffing three different killers so I'll take it.

  • @DoritoHead said:

No it doesn't, it removes the collision of the survivor you just hit. So they can walk through you but others can't.

You are right, but you can't do anything against swf in a multiplayer game. Everyone expects to be able, to play with his/her friends a multiplayer game.

Behavior really needs to do something about the food chain in this game swf>killer>solo. Though this is something hard to tackle so I can't fault them too hard.

  • I would like if he had more concepts in his kit that relate to his lore, an example would be to actually have them hunt as a group like teased. Or maybe to disguise themselves as survivors like how they do in their trailer.

Yeah, and they are such a cool idea that could have been so much more, and they have an especially awesome metal remix of the main DBD theme...but are so disappointing otherwise.

Hear was my idea for a Legion rework.

    Special Ability: Corrupted From Within

At any time The Legion may remove their mask. Upon doing so The Legion’s base speed will be decreased to that of a survivor and they will gain the undetectable status effect. Additionally The Legion will gain the posture and footsteps of survivors. When getting into grab range The Legion may instantly down the survivor. The Legion may exit Corrupted From Within at any time. Corrupted From Within goes on cooldown after exiting or downing a survivor.

    Special Attack: Feral Frenzy

Upon activating Feral Frenzy The Legion will sprint forward at a higher speed. The Legion gains the ability to vault over pallets and through windows. Missing an attack will decrease The Legions Feral Frenzy power gauge. Hitting a survivor while in Feral Frenzy will refill the power gauge and reveal other survivors nearby in killer instinct.

Hitting a second survivor will apply the deep wound status effect.

Hitting a third survivor will apply the deep wound status effect and apply the broken status effect.

Hitting a fourth survivor will instantly down them and remove The Legion from Feral Frenzy.

While The Legion is not currently chasing a survivor, Feral Frenzy’s speed, dutration, and stun after leaving the power is increased.

Applying the deep wound status effect will critically injure the survivor. They must mend themselves or they will be put in the dying state, additionally their movements become rushed and clumsier and they suffer from the hindered status effect.

  • Yeah I don't understand the "Legion is boring arguement". There are more fun killers to go against in my opinion but they are far from being annoying.

  • Ah yes, the all-mighty Clown buff... Did you happen to overlook the Freddy nerf and Huntress add-on pass?

  • I there isn't much you can do. The food chain for dbd is swf<Killer<solo. Swf are the power role so if you get a good one it's very hard to win, also if you're playing a bad killer you are going to struggle a lot more. I recommend either playing something else, or trying main Nurse, Spirit or Freddy. They are all very strong killers and when I play them I don't have that much of an issue with swf.

I'd rather get Wraith changed he's the weakest stealth and has been needing a buff for a long time so I'd take him over legion. And Demo I have feeling Netflix wants him to be played more.

I don't really care about them buffing Wraith because he's another bottom tier like Legion, it just caught me off guard that Demo was being changed before both of them. Honestly I didn't consider that Netflix might be pulling strings, if that's the case then I can understand why the devs needed to change him.

legions are are so much better then demos demo has 1 good addon which is a brown addon

What? Legion's only good add-on is the ire-button, aside from that all his add-on's are sub-par like Demo's.

  • But so are Legions's, and Demo's base kit is is stronger than Legion's.

  • @Sonzaishinai said:

Ehm not to burst your bubble but i don't believe the devs have ever promised a rework after their latest one.

They are also not as bad as everyone says. A few QoL changes is all they need

I'm pretty sure in the patch notes of when he first got changed they said that this form was only temporary. Even if they didn't he's still worse than Demo, and in my opinion, Wraith, so he should've been changed before them. I don't even care about a rework I wish he'd get some QOL changes like Trapper.

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1792322#Comment_1792322

If you would revert all his changes, Legion would still be a bad Killer. They were always a weak Killer, at any time. They are not super-bad IMO, but far from good.

You simply cannot have a Power which allows to vault windows and pallets and expect that the Kit of that Killer will also be strong.

Legion when they came out were so good he almost killed the game. In my opinion they nerfed him to hard. Just revert some of the changes and he'd be a lot better.

  • Pyramid Head and Michael, both of them are insanely strong and can't die.

  • Just like how we got no mention of the Legion rework they promised, at least everything other than that was pretty good.

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1792293#Comment_1792293

Legion needs a different power to become a strong Killer. You cannot make him strong with the power he currently has, vaulting Windows and Pallets needs to go to make him strong.

I don't think so. Just some QOL improvements would make him a whole lot better.

  • @DoritoHead said:

Are you referring to the bug?

Yeah, it's probably going to take a hot minute to fix it so anyone who likes playing Legion is out of a job.

  • @Felnex said:

They only have 600 employees, don't be too hard on them.

I'm not saying do it all at once, I'm just peeved by that fact they picked Demo to get changed before him.

wraith bad demo addons bad legion is better then both

What? How is Legion better than Demo? Wraith I can maybe see but like Demo? How?

  • On Wretched Shop when I went to throw a pallet down I got stuck on an air molecule. When I got downed I looked around and their was literally nothing I could have ran into. Not sure if some if the loops just have weird hitboxs or if this was a bug.

  • Merry Christmas Michael! Say hi to Freddy and Jason for me!
