They definitely couldn't have used Heisenberg.
I think it was Birkin or Nemesis and I just don't think Birkin could've been done correctly.
And why exactly couldn't they have used Heisenberg? As long as they kept his in-game backstory short and made it so it didn't spoil the later half of RE8 (just like they did with Leon, Jill, and Nemesis), I see no reason as to why they couldn't have used him.
Birkin still would have been more interesting than Nemesis. Mutating and changing forms throughout the match is a cooler concept than a bootleg Punishment of the Damned.
Despite those two, though, I still stand by that Jack would have been the ideal pick for a Resident Evil killer. He's human-looking, interesting, has lots of options for a power, and 7 has been out for awhile now.
-
Yes, that's a feature. Lightburn.
-
Yeah, Nemesis is but a shadow of himself in this game. Which is why they never should have picked him for the RE killer. There are so many better candidates like Birkin, Jack, and Heisenberg; but nope, they picked Nemesis just because he was popular.
-
There's not really a lot of tracking killers in the game.

Pennywise (IT), a Draugr, Big Daddy (Bioshock) , Sweeny Todd, Hannibal Lecter and Slenderman.
Can easily namedrop a few more I would like to see here 🙃
Couldn't help but think of the Draugr from Skyrim. Imagine their power is just Fus-Ro-Dahing survivors across the map.
-
I don't care if we already have a Resident Evil chapter, I still want Jack Baker and Karl Heisenberg.
Pennywise, The Thing, and Chucky would also be cool.

Pretty sure the survivors know they are trapped. We have the teachable perks, Benedict's notes and the campfire to back that up.
Huh. I heard somewhere that The Entity mind-wipes the survivors into thinking every trial is their first. That way they don't just give up and The Entity can keep feeding on their hope of escape.
Benedict being the exception as he somehow managed to retain his memories.

Yeah, in my opinion they should definitely fix her hitboxes. If it gets to the point where Huntress's genuinely can't land shots anymore, then buff her in some other aspect like hatch flight speed or number of hatchets.

10 more days. Kinda tempted to play it again even in it's state atm, but I am afraid I will get frustrated more than enjoy it.
Are you guys still playing or waiting for the update?
I am. Although I'm not sure how much more damage my sanity can take.

I love Coal Tower as every killer, but I particularly like it as Legion.

She is talking about Myers
I don't think so. Myers's whole thing is that he's emotionless evil. Never in Halloween does it mention her hope feeds his rage. I believe Laurie is telling about all the killers in general.
Even if it was about Myers, that doesn't change the fact that she's still the only survivor to directly talk about being hunted. You don't see those kinds of descriptions on other characters like Steve, Nancy, Quentin, and Cheryl.

Pop because Ruin is far too RNG to use without Undying or Hunted Grounds.

I've seen worse.

Poor guy. :( And I really mean it, 3 games against Hag in a row would make me quit DBD for the evening at least.
@Topic:
The idea is neat, however, 300 is a very small sample size. Whenever BHVR releases stats like this they probably look at around hundreds of thousands of games in those. 300 is quite small, at best, you can get a general direction.
This shows that you only had 2 Nurse- and 2 Trickster-games... Those are sample sizes where it is impossible to draw a conclusion.
They pulled the classic Hag maneuver of putting five traps around the hook and then returning to the hook every nanosecond.
It appears I have a high pain tolerance, as I kept playing even after that.
-
I asked my friend who mains Huntress about this and he agreed with me that her hitboxes need to be fixed.
I feel like if her new hitboxes makes it too hard to land shots or whatever, then they should buff her in some other way to compensate.

Why do nurse need to be toned down?
Because she's far too strong. She comes from a time when infinite's were common place. People seem to think that just because she takes skill, that her game-play design of ignoring every means of survivor defense is okay.
Not to mention, it's absolutely miserable for people trying to learn her, because of her insanely high skill cap.
-
Nurse needs to be toned down, but that ain't how you do it.
-
Yeah, I hate it. I really hope that for it's rework, they go all out and make it a completely flooded village. Like the one from Resident Evil 8.
I just think it would be cool if Swamp was the first map to have like an actual water element to it.

Really? I haven’t seen a hag in like a month
Yeah, it's weird. I got her like three times in a row yesterday.
-
That actually sounds pretty cool.
-
Surprised Hag and Wraith have lower pick rates. I seem to get those ######### like every match.
-
Yeah, most Wraith's act like it's a personally trait to be an ass from what I've seen. Don't know why.
-
I'm a Legion main, and luckily they're not too bad compared to everyone else.
Wraith is also pretty good, but I simply can't stand playing his annoying-ass.
-
To be technical, she's not a K-pop idol; only a music producer.
She does need better outfits, though.
-
Huh. Thought this was a Sluzzy thread before I remembered that she's jailed.
-
Legion.

Myers.

That's kinda sad.
Still hoping for that legendary of Pablo and who knowns maybe even Kelly.
But if I could choose a character to become a set, I would probably pick Ruby.
Same. A Pablo skin would be sick.

Oh....
Are you saying that I've been waiting for a new season of this for more than 2 years for nothing?
God...I feel such an idiot right now...
It was canceled on the 20th of April, 2018.

Probably because the new season of Ash VS Evil Dead hasn't come out yet. But I still don't get why we don't have a legendary skin for Pablo.
Ash Vs Evil Dead got canceled awhile ago due to lack of funding.

Young ash armored !
At this rate, I just want Ash to get any skin. He hasn't gotten one in forever.
-
Jack Baker, Karl Heisenberg, and Ethan Winters.
-
He's not op, just extremely annoying because his skill-ceiling is so low compared to the damage output you can do with him.
-
Wraith, Ghostface, and Nurse.

Haunted Grounds is just a really neat and easy to use hex perk. About every person out there will cleanse a hex totem when they find it and 60 seconds of Exposed on everyone is nothing to scoff at. Even without any good build idea in mind, it's usually a pretty solid perk that gets results. Rarely do I have games where it doesn't activate.
But I even saw killers like Huntress running it. In all my 2,000 hours, I don't think I've ever encountered this perk so much.
-
Alcina, Bela, Cassandra, or Daniela Dimitrescu.
-
Unrelated to the build, but I've been playing a lot of solo-que in the past few day's, and you will not believe how many people were running Hunted Grounds. Like seriously, this perk showed up almost every single match I played.
Is there some hidden Hunted Grounds meta I'm unaware of?
-
I sure as ######### don't. Hell, I've only ever posted like thirty discussions total.
-
Ohhh, @GeneralV's gonna love this thread.
Yeah, that'd be a really good idea and help make Freddy feel more unique.

It'll be good when doing generators and understanding how far killer is from you.
That's not really useful, though, as you can tell when the killer is coming because of their terror radius. And it isn't useful against stealth killers either, because the Undetectable status effect blocks aura reading.
It's only niche use is telling you what pallets your team is using.

Aren't his snares currently bugged? I remember people talking about Clown and Freddy hindered effects not working properly. Likely why pallet Freddy is currently more popular.
At the very least Freddy doesn't have any negative addons that would hurt him.
From what I've played of snare Freddy, they seemed to be working, but I'll ask @GeneralV.
And yeah, at least Freddy's add-on's wouldn't ######### him over like Hag, Myers, or Blight.

Not true, you'd be going against fake pallets. Also, you'd be asleep for the majority of the trial.
It was a joke about how Freddy's add-on's suck. Most Freddy's I play against already use fake pallets anyways (probably because his snares are just boring).
-
There'd be no difference for Freddy.
-
...What...?
-
Ewww. God, don't make me remember that.
-
Honestly? Everyone besides Wraith, Spirit, Nurse, and Hag.
