Plague is objectively the most forgotten killer in the game. There's a reason why she has the lowest pickrate of them all (2%). She also hasn't had any new original cosmetics since 10 months.
Demo is also down there. His chapter was SUPER hyped and he's just not picked at all.

Nah, I've actually been considering this for a while. As I have mentioned in previous posts, I see slugging in most of my matches. Most of the sluggers use BBQ to find their slugs when they hook someone else. Being slugged is less than fun, it means you're gonna get [BAD WORD] points from a match, and it wastes your time. The killer doesn't realize because they're still active in the match and time passes differently when you're actually doing things.
Would you rather be slugged for a minute or for four minutes?
Personally, I'd rather not spend the entire bleedout timer on the ground.
-
BBQ is one of the best designed perks in the game. It rewards Killer's for not tunneling and it encourages them to not camp.
If you are upset about being slugged, make changes to reward Killer's for hooking people rather than leaving them slugged. As it stands, this whole spiel reads like you just got out of a particularly frustrating game.

Congrats. Escape rate is 25%, so when you play no one else escape. I know, all potatoes of course. Only killers are semi gods survs
The ecape rate is higher than 25%. Additionally, escape rate means nothing witbout knowing the situation behind it. Was it a NOED 3k? Was it a 11 hook game with one through the Hatch? These are VASTLY different games, one where the Killer de-pips, one where he could double pip.
I am no Survivor god, even in my post I admitted as such. I really should be in Purple Ranks, but I understand that I'm not the greatest in chases. However, because I play Killer a lot, I know that even if we only get half a gen done per hook (conservative estimate) we will still win.
-
@thesuicidefox said:
That's not autoaim, that's aim dressing. You hit the guy on the hook but since they were being sacrificed they were above you so aim dressing pulled your camera to them. You got the hit and the game was making it look like you got the hit. What you see is exactly what it's supposed to do. If you missed and it did that you'd have something.
If someone goes around an object, and I attempt to curve my swing around said object, the game will yank my camera towards the Survivor, causing me to hit the object.

So i need help/ a ruling on the perk :power struggle.
So here is the example i just faced. two survivors left, with both of them down and near by exit gate at 99%. I hooked and killed one. I came back to the second one to see they crawled to a near by pallet and are waiting there. I assume that the reason they would do this was because the have power struggle ready. So I have the choice of waiting for 3 mins for them to bleed out, or eat the pallet stun and let them escape. Now that power struggle is a thing, i know its toxic to make them bleed out, but is it bannable, when now its part of the game?
BTW I did end up picking the player up, and yes she did have it, and yes she did escaped...
Slugging people is not bannable.

I never said said the game was balanced for any side, or vacuum pallets are a good choice of game design. This is why I referred to it as bandaid. Yes, I know that it looked at least silly in many occasions, but it's a fair trade looking at what we have to deal with even with hit validation (which never worked and still doesn't work).
But I can't stand hearing people complain about killer being hard or even impossible. I swear it's those "muh easy 4k" treads all over again. And looking at the backlash due to fair mori nerf, I can already tell these people will always prioritize their own vision of enjoyment instead of balance to every side. At least key requires to do some gens and survive before you can use it, where mori required some tunneling and that's person is gone for good.
Vaccum pallets allowed Survivors to escape being hit since the pallet would "vaccum" them to the other side.
Killer is absolutely hard. The Mori nerf was fair in its content but not in its timing. The Devs obliterated one side's OP item without doing anything to the other sides OP item. The nerf needed to happen, and I actually think it's fair, but not nerfing Keys was a mistake. Keys essentially force the Killer to de-pip, almost guarantee that the Survivor will pip and they end the game early.
The game is so close to being balanced right now. Getting rid of Keys and Mori's is a big step. The next will be to take a look at maps like Haddonfield, Disturbed Ward, Hawkins and The Game.

Legion can use their power at any time. Plague is more limited. Also the height difference. Plague is easy to loop because you can see her over everything, Legion is a bit tougher so given that they both basically force everyone to be injured all the time, Legion can likely capitalize on it more.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1835531#Comment_1835531
Myers has more map pressure than those in D tier though, which is the point of the tier list.
Plague's inconsistency only hurts her. Like yea great, you can snowball 1 in 10 games, well Legion can more like win in some of those 9 games where you might have lost because they are more consistent.
Clown is the weakest killer in the game. I agree he is a monster in a chase but that's like all he has, and a bunch of killers above him can do it almost as good and are way better in other areas too.
Billy is again more consistent. His power isn't reliant on survivors and he always has access to it. Oni has to collect blood then he has to use his power THEN his power has a timer until it goes away. Plus Billy is a lot more pick-up-and-play than Oni.
True, but afterwards, he eats a HUGE stun, bigger than Nurse's. Legion is still just an M1 Killer and a lot of loops aren't tall enough to fully obscure him. Plague, at the very least, has at least one use of her godly Corrupt Purge, if not more.

You shouldn't put words in my mouth. Judging by your logic, I would be ok with bugs just because they sometimes give advantage. Which is wrong. Old bnp were bad as hell, it could be treated as old moris, which cut game at least in half.
But looking at vacuum pallets, they were a great bandaid to non-existent hit registration until devs would fix that problem. But now we have to deal with that and sometimes hope that hits won't connect where they should not connect. And that's not even about huntress's hatchets and slinger's harpoon!
Right now toolboxes and self-care are almost useless due to their nerf. Moreover, killers already had before perks to deal with items and gen speed, but today they got even more. And those who complain about genrushing simply do not belong to ranks they are currently at. If you are not able to pressure gens, you obviously doing something wrong, since I saw many red ranks doing pretty well even against swf. Hell, I don't have problem with that too, and I play survivor and killer at 50/50.
Vacuum pallets were not okay. Do I need to pull up clips? I started playing right before they were removed and let me tell you, I am glad they are gone.
Toolboxes are still very good. You just cannot do an ENTIRE gen faster, now you have to be intelligent about how you use them.
Self-Care has always been useless, or at least, it has always promoted poor gameplay.
If Survivors are entirely focused on gens, the Killer will usually lose. Heck, if the Killer and Survivors play casually, the Killer will lose. Gens go very quickly at Red Ranks. Have fun trying to pressure 4 people off of gens when you still have Cow Tree Loop into Shack into Jungle Gym.
The game isn't balanced towards Killer, if you are having trouble as Survivor, that's on you. I am a Red Rank Survivor (though I should probably be in Purple Ranks) and I have zero problem winning solo because I know my job. If I can get even half of a gen done for every hook, we win by a landslide.

Occasionally is an understatement. I was playing Hag yesterday and boy oh boy was the hit validation on my side. Same thing with my hatchets as Huntress. Hit validation is busted.

He has a point, it went from vacuum pallets to getting bs hits THROUGH pallets no matter how fast your internet is. 100% of the time the hit favour the killer, I've been hit through pallets/windows and my body drops 6ft away from it and my internet is fast so you would think the hit would be in my favour.
I've occasionally see questionable hits, but it's maybe every few games. Supposedly, hit validation was going to fix that visual issue.

Lol, the hypocrisy. While with nowadays killers you can easily outplay every survivor on every look with almost every killer, you still complain. Billy was never okay. The ability to drive around map with insane speed was broken as hell and his stupid chainsaw hotbox is another whole story. Same goes to old nurse, and she still applies same pressure btw.
And now we've got a Spirit, who takes no skill by standing still and getting kills for that, plus Deathslinger with no counterplay, where you rely on killer's mistake instead of your skill.
And yes, vacuum pallets were ok, since even with dedicated servers, even with good ping on both sides, you get hit literally through pallets and vaults after you already few meters away from them.
You wonder why people play swf? Because it's sucks hard playing solo without any coordination against almost every killer.
The mere fact that you said vacuum pallets were okay destroyed your point. That's like saying old BNP or old Mori's were okay. EVERYONE knows they weren't.

EDIT: Keep in mind that a true tier list is a ranking of characters RELATIVE to each other. In other words just because I put Clown as the worst killer does not mean he cannot win or be effective. More that, every killer above him can get results equal to or greater with less effort/skill/add-on cost/whatever else. Also know that there is a clear distinction between each tier. For example, what separates B and C tiers (for my list) is the necessity of certain add-ons/tactics. Oni will more likely win games without add-ons that Bubba could not. That sort of thing. If ya'll want a breakdown I will write one. I just did this because I was bored LOL.
Why do you have Plague as worse than Legion? I would argue that her guaranteed one Corrupt Purge is reason enough for her to be higher.

I've also seen ones that say they shouldn't have been nerfed at all. I get the frustration of not knowing when keys will be reworked but let's be real how many times do you see a purple/pink key in your lobby?
When I play killer I barely see it and even when I do, I don't sweat too hard it's whatever.
As a survivor I barely see my teammates carrying a key and I myself don't care for them so I don't use them.
I've seen 12 Keys in the last 3 days.

I caved and enabled crossplay occasionally even before PS5, mainly because then there was less survivors that spin and also less SWF's. Now that I'm PS5 you can tell the FPS difference immediately compared to PS4 and it's night and day.
One very discernible example is that now I can actually avoid a pallet stun as Trapper by starting the bear trap animation instead of freezing. Also no problems with the deas hard. One thing that is still there sometimes is FPS drops when you get injured as a survivor and the killer has sloppy.
I would love to get a next-gen Console, but again, money is tight for a lot of people rn and BHVR promised 60 FPS on the Xbox One and PS4. I expect them to deliver.

Understandable but don't expect BHVR to ever get the game performing well on anything but PC/Series X/PS5. Now that new consoles are a thing there is 0 reason to fix the problems on the old system.
Series X is so much more powerful than One X it's literally not even funny. Borderlands 3 went from a 10 minute startup screen to ######### TWENTY SECONDS. Bro it's 1 and 1/2 Claptrap dances. That lil MF'er used to dance the entirety of Footloose before the game would start up. My load time in DBD is measured in single digits. Bar is full in like, 8 seconds not even, up to 99%. That last 1% is me waiting for everyone else LOL.
I would reckon that most people still play on PS4 and Xbox One. So, I really hope they don't abandon us.

The problem is that people refuse to get good with oni despite his strength and being a good killer in general. Nurse on the other hand is only limited by console performance watch supa alf he did fine on controller with pc. It's the frames.
Victor is easy just be patient. That is a you problem it is very hard to miss.

Really? Because ever since I was forced into crossplay with Xbox Series X I've come to find that a vast majority of the players in the crossplay pool are straight potatoes. As survivor or killer it's nothing but idiots all day. It doesn't matter the platform, it's the crossplay pool. I have had WAY more challenging games when I was able to turn of crossplay on Xbox. The survivors at red ranks actually deserve to be there, and red ranks are full of SWF on Xbox. Game is not even a challenge as killer in the crossplay pool. I had to try like 2 games ever, one was a Twins game on Ormond (and I was level 40 with ######### perks and this was like my 4th game ever as Twins), and then one game as Billy where despite getting a chainsaw in the first 15 seconds I was still struggling to keep up with the pace of the gens (Temple also so there's that).
I despise playing killer now more because I get matched against total morons and it's not even fun half the time. I just run them over. Sometimes as ######### Clown.
Sorry I just don't buy this BS. I think the "bad" players all go for crossplay while the "good" players turn it off for maximum sweat.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1835314#Comment_1835314
Buy a Series X. Literally all the frame issues go away (except for Lerys and sometimes Midwich, they still suck frames).
My issues with PC are:
1) IDK who the ######### I'm playing. Okay cool, your name is "John" there are like a million Johns on Steam. Can't even report the guy if the do something. Also I don't want to see offensive names like "Cock Mongler" and #########.
2) Cheaters. I've already seen some people cheating on crossplay. Had EXACTLY 3 instances ever in Xbox only, all were lag switching (pre-dedi's) and twice was the same guy on the same day.
3) PC killers still have a mouse which is a HUGE advantage, and apparently they have 0 ping because I always seem to get hit through walls or around corners, or some kind of BS where I'm like there is just no way that connected. IDK if it's connection or frame rates but it's mad shadey to get hit by a PC player a lot of the time.
4) No way to communicate. Believe or not I do like to send out GG after a game. Can't do that with crossplay on.
5) PC survivors are just THE WORST. And I don't mean skillwise, I mean attitude-wise. They are so ######### selfish and entitled. I could count on 1 hand the number of times I was just left to die because no one gave a ######### to save me with Xbox. On crossplay it's literally ever game, survivors will completely cuck you or not even stick their necks out a little to help you. Oh and I've stopped playing Spirit as much because any time I play a game people either DC, suicide on hook, or just try to meme with me. I've had like 1 normal game as Spirit since Series X came out, the rest is complete dumpster fire. Yea, there are Xbox players that hate Spirit, and yea some DC, but dear God it's not even close to how it is in crossplay. Spirit is borderline unplayable for me unless I want to meme all the time. PC players are so entitled it's disgusting.
I, like a lot of other people, cannot afford it. So I'm going to be keeping my Xbox One X for the forseable future.

Not anything new to be honest, I discoved this when I started to play back in 2018. As so the Dev's like to call, there is no auto aim, only aim adressing that makes hits looks "smooth", which in really rare scenarios can make you miss hits.
I'm aware, but this was the first time I could reliably show it.
Some people say it doesn't exist, others say it doesn't happen often, this shows that all you need to do is swing at someone while they move.

You cant do insane flicks like on pc but you can still flick with oni. Twins is a whole different story if you are just patient shes good on any platform. I used to main oni so I could hop into a custom and show you some tricks. Blight I do agree with that's why I'm switching to pc.
Kinda weird hoe you are having so many problems on the one x but I believe you console optimization sucks. Dh freezes usually happens maybe once or twice a game.
Hence limiting his ability. Why do you think you never see Nurse's or Oni's on Console? They are limited by the inability to see and flick.
Victor feels terrible to play as against decent Survivors.
If the Devs want me to play crossplay, they are going to have to deliver on that "60 FPS on Console by the end of 2019" thing.

I play on the One X and my sens is at 100. You cannot flick with the controller. Its why Oni, Blight and Twins aren't super popular on Console.

-
@Shirokinukatsukami said:
First, you don't know if those crossplayers are PC or XBox.
Second, there are objective differences in how a console player plays over a PC player.
Console killers for instance are terrible at quick searching. Good PC Killers when they walk around are constantly looking around and behind their back. You don't see console killers do this... simply because they can't. This makes them significantly easier to stealth and juke. That doesn't mean much though because stealthing doesnt' win you games.
Console killers however are also easier to loop in general. They generally do not fake the red stain while looping so they can't mindgame you as much.
Console survivors tend to 360, PC survivors stopped doing that a long time ago. Console survivors are also not very good at looking behind them to watch the killer while in a chase.
But you are correct. Platform =/= skill. And I've seen crossplay killers kill the survivors and I've seen crossplay survivors outsmart the killer and outsurvive PC survivors. I will assume that most of those with the crossplay icon are console players and not Windows Store players. (Windows Store? Who does that). That said, in general I find more potato survivors with the crossplay icon over those that play on my platform (Steam).
Personally, I've found that Console Killer's use their hearing WAY more than PC Killer's do as a sort of compensation for their lack of vision.

Well personally I would think of some changes such as:
DS: reduced timer to 30/35/40 (I see this as justified due to pgtw nerf)
Undying: Instead of moving the hex around it will instead move that hex onto itself, destroying undying and replacing it with the destroyed hex.
OoO: Survivor starts with 15/20/25 seconds, these seconds indicate how long they can look at the killer and the killer can see them, meaning they have to be alot more careful with their use.
Dead hard: No longer makes you invincible during the lunge (it doesn't anyway, exhausted on ground gang), however, the lunge distance is increased but is also slightly slower than a lunge.
Iron Will: Stops the killer from hearing your injured breaths by 100% but only while walking and crouching, while running it's only reduced by half that value.
Ruin: Regression is only while generator is not in the killers terror radius and is reduced to 50%/100%/150%, while in killers terror radius instead it works like old ruin, this means that they can kick it aswell with let's say pop or oppresion.
NOED: All survivors suffer from the exposed status effect, however, the killer now instead moves at 2/3/4% slower speed.
These are just some ideas off the top of my head for some nerfs for both survivor meta perks and killer meta perks.
Why nerf Ruin/Undying? It actually promotes really healthy gameplay.
Killers are encouraged to spread out and pressure multiple people. If you just tunnel one guy, it isn't gonna do anything.
Survivors are encouraged to look for totems instead of immediately slamming gens.
And that DS change is nice for Killers but it doesn't address the issue. DS needs to be anti-tunnel. Unlimited duration, but it ends when being healed, after another Survivor is hooked, working on a gen, getting in a locker or during the EGC. As compensation, DS works on every hook state and, like I said, the time is unlimited.

I'd honestly add on a small Hindered effect for X seconds if they plan on keeping Legion's ourageous 4 second stun. I actually did a full power redesign a while back, if you'd like to see it I can tag you in it!

Most of 'em are survivors, and I don't really blame 'em, I can't imagine killer's too amazing on console.
It sucks to try to play against PC Survivors as a Console Killer.
It just feels like I'm being handicapped for daring to play on a different system, which is why crossplay will remain off for me.

it can be either because of two facts:
-Your internet isn't as fast as the rest of players
-You take longer to load because of your console software or much data usage in the hard disk
also, how do you know they're from PC and not ps4, xbox or switch? they might load faster than you too
The name Hex: Devour Ass generally tips me off that its a PC player.
This isn't the only disadvantage Console Killer's have when playing against PC Survivors either. Honestly, to me, this isn't comparable to Survivors literally getting more info/time to react when compared to the Killer, but hey, if it gets fixed that's a start.

A complete redesign into what ? What do you want Legion to be ? Right now they are fine, a bit on the weaker side, but could use some small fixes and improvements (as many killers do). What would be the point of compleltly redesigning them ? Why no just play another killer if you don't like how the Legion play ?
I like how they play, but I also realize that in their current state, they CANNOT be buffed at all. If you buff Legion at all in their current state, they become OP.
With the Twins in the game it gives me some hope for Legion. Completely redesigning them gives the Devs a chance to correct design mistakes they made and allow Legion to be both fun and rewarding.
-
I've been trying to see him buffed for over a year.

@Decarcassor said:
The stats say Legion is performing well. They don't need any major changes, only an add-on review and a couple tiny changes.
- All of their add-ons are underwhelming compared to the Frenzy duration ones. Buttons add-ons should have their duration increased and/or apply to the first Frenzy hit.
- Make Frank's Mixtape and Stab Wound Study do SOMETHING. If you can't find a way to make them affect Deep Wound in a balanced way make them do something else.
- Normalize Legion's Deep Wound to 20 seconds like every other instance of DW in the game instead of the current 30 seconds.
- Remove the power gauge depletion on basic attack. This serve no purpose and is just annoying. You can't down survivors with Feral Frenzy or proc basic attacks perks anymore. There is no concievable way to abuse M1 into Frenzy in any scenario.
Legion might be performing fine, but like the Devs have said, stats aren't everything, else we'd be looking at a Nurse buff.
Legion needs a total redesign. He feels terribly punishing to play and he's boring/annoying to play against.

as long as you have constant information coming in (audio if you have a headset and visual via perks and add ons) and react to that information constantly, it’s almost too easy. I’d love to find one survivor who can loop me long enough to get 5 gens done. You need to be a super team. And quite honestly that’s not fair the 90% of players who go in with uncoordinated teams. If they want to make this game functional where it’s even and fair then they would not have made this cross play without the option to party up. A game that’s based on teamwork why would you add that option if you can’t party up with them across platforms? Survivors suck man. They really do. Anybody that’s a god at playing survivor id like you to show me how I won’t down you in 10-15 seconds lol
What Survivor buffs do you want to see?

They are terrible on Console. Super hard to aim, not at all worth the payoff

I have no clue and these are just the killers that seem good and can track/ quickly kill survivors imo, from a glance. Thoughts?
If you are on Console, GhostFace is the best of the three.
You cannot get the same value out of Oni on Console and the Twins are pretty miserable to play at low FPS.

You’re not wrong, but I’m not sure what that has to do with Nurses not being uncommon.
I haven't seen a Nurse on Console in 2 months. You pretty much only see PC Nurse.

Legion is right in the middle of the pack in terms of kill efficiency, even among the best players. There's no way I can construe Legion as "weakest" given the data I have.
I'm not gonna mindlessly bash you like some other people, but Legion FEELS terrible to play as and against and, as I'm sure you know, data does not always tell the full story, else we'd be getting a Nurse buff
