I got 100K but I had well over 100 offerings on a single Killer.
1,000 BP per Offering? That's even less than they are in the BloodWeb.

I wish there was more proactive things we could do as a community to help solve this issue since the developers aren't breaking their silence surrounding the issue, for one reason or another.
Yeah, I don't know why they haven't said anything regarding the issue.
Remember, the first step to fixing your problem is admitting you have one :)

I don't believe it's something that will be reverted, players were under a lot of confusion about it - both on our social media and via our customer support, especially newer players so the decision was made to just keep one set of perk names in the game.
That's very disappointing to hear.

I updated the FAQ earlier this week...it was decided to avoid confusion that the perks would only take on their new generic names even if the Stranger Things Characters were owned.

Any chance this could be reverted or is this an issue with the license?

Yes.
Why?

I missed my DS because someone kicked a pumpkin and the game froze.

I would like them to add a forfeit option after 10 minutes of play so that, at the very least, they are unable to take the lobby hostage. I do not mind playing against cheaters. I mind when the game doesn't end in a timely manner. I am not asking them to fix the problem, I just want a fail safe workaround. Is that truly too much to ask?
I'd like them to differentiate between crashes and DC's.
I've had someone come up and drop a nuclear bomb load of fireworks in front of me and caused my game to go into "chainsaw-mode" and crash.

So why are you suprised that you play against same players more often?
Funny is that I don't think it actually means that you play only against console players. Microsoft store DBD counts as a "console" right? I know I have had chat with some players that had console symbol and cheaters can act like console too.
Crossplay off means it's only Xbox One. Not even the Series X counts, apparently.
I'm not surprised, I'm merely saying it's entirely possible to ruin somebody's day repeatedly, but you said it isn't bannable because it can't happen often.
-
@Dino7281 said:

It's because you have cross-play off.
Cross-play off doesn't mean you play only with console / PC, you play only with console / PC that also have cross-play off, so way less players, so you have higher chance to play against same players than normal players with cross-play on have.
I'm aware that it lessens the pool and the restrictions.

@Dino7281 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2615635#Comment_2615635
He is not searching for him, so yeah.
It's just super low chance to play against same player several times, unless you try to do it by constaly dodging lobbies and searching for him. That is an issue.
When he randomly plays against one player like twice in one month and decides to tunnel him? not really an issue imo.
Just don't be toxic and you are fine, it's that simple. It's quite rare for me to deal with actual tunneling, or camping from first hook. I think either those players that see it often have someone toxic in their SWF group that pissed off a killer, or it's low MMR thing.
Also big issue imo is that most survivors don't know how tunneling / camping actually looks, nor understand why it can happen from killer's POV. For most, it's just any excuse why they lost that game.
I literally see the same groups every single day.
Like, I only match against one or two 4-man's when I play Pinhead or Blight. Consistently. Only two. Every day.

Screenshots are not that hard to make.
Also, are you really trying to say that soloQ is on the same power level as SWF?
They also aren't hard to fake. Your point?
No, where did I say that? I was trying to say that my Solo Q games aren't really all that bad. Sometimes, you get ######### teammates, other times you ARE the ######### teammate.
it just be that way
-
@Dino7281 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2615622#Comment_2615622
Not really. He is not doing anything to actually play against him, it's random by match-making. That is way different than players that actually are looking for a specific player to ruin their games, but both are hard to prove, so I doubt anyone was ever banned for this.
For me it's actually super rare to remember someone, they had to piss me off a lot, or they had to be really good / nice.
He is just killing him, it's not like he is letting him bleed out on ground, or block somewhere and just waste as much of his time as possible. He just decided to tunnel one survivor, nothing new.
So if I make a note of one Survivor, and repeatedly tunnel them out first it's fine?

I don't really care about cheaters that just wanna troll.
But I have played against cheaters that tried to hide it, which results in just unfair game that can ruin experience of a killer even more.
And worst are cheaters that are able to survive end game collapse and hold you hostage... That's the biggest issue
I play on Xbox so most of the cheaters I've encountered have crashed my game.

I mean, I prefer this way more over 30 minutes hide and seek with last two survivors, but everyone has different style...
I have snitched a lot and I always try to donate items to get hatch.
I don't really care it's against rules, I have seen too many cheaters for that to worry about.
I've seen a few cheaters with Crossplay off myself.
Not an enjoyable experience, that's for sure.

You are completely ignoring word "repeatedly"
You think tunneling random guy is against rules, but stream sniping survivors / killers just to kill them / break their streaks is fine?
That's the issue.
Stream sniping is insanely hard to prove. Which is why this specific rule is in place. It catches all of them in one net.
Also, this wouldn't be random. The OP described a situation where a Survivor would do something they didn't like, then in a new match sometime down the road, they would take out their frustration from the previous match by ensuring the Survivor did not get to enjoy the current match. Does that not seem problematic?

Nooo, you are mean...
I always have fun when there are 2 survivors left I give survivor I down first an option to snitch on other survivor unless they pissed me off during game.
They snitch quite often...
It's against the rules and it's dishonorable, I'd never snitch on another Survivor unless they were cheating or exploiting ect ect.
One of those is opinion, the other isn't. Whether or not it's enforced is different.
-
@Dino7281 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2615555#Comment_2615555
That rule is more against stream snipers and players that actually try to ruin your game for lot of games and looking for you.
That can't really be used when he gets to play against them by a chance based on normal match-making, it can happen more often now because of MMR tho.
If someone used flashlight macro or pisssed me enough for me remember him, he is gonna die... but of course I am just trying to win and I just considered him as a weak link.
No, it isn't. It might encompass that, but this rule has been in place for a long time.
streamsniping isn't even reportable either.
The OP admitted that if a Survivor did something they didn't like in a previous match, they would actively and deliberately seek them out and make sure they died first.
That's pretty spot on to what this rule is about. Deliberately seeking someone out in order to ruin their experience.

There is no contradiction. Unproven excel tables are not evidence, and even if they were - 24 is not enough to make any kind of conclusion. Two completely different points here.
Proof of what do you need? Proof that soloQ is full of suffering?
Proof that Solo Q is underpowered. Unfun? Absolutely. Underpowered? Prove it.
Apologies, I'll make sure to make my sample size 500 games and record them all, then watch as you say "Lmao, I'm not watching that."

It def needs a healing speed reduction i think overall, too strong.
I think the concept itself is flawed.
It effectively kills 3 gens strats which allowed a lot of the cast to keep some semblance of viability. It doesn't stop a Nurse, Spirit or Blight with slowdown, but it absolutely destroys the Trapper who set up a killer 3-gen.
It does the exact opposite of what most Survivors want.

And unplugging internet isn't griefing. It's also not bannable because noone gets hurt. Game is just cancelled.
"I'll do my level best to make sure you die first."

Of course not, but you *are* being a deliberate wet blanket. Which is why I described you as playing Hall Monitor.
Again, I'm not doing anything wrong by focusing down one survivor that I recognize. They have established a rivalry, and I'm running with it. The cocky character never makes it out of the movie alive anyway :).
"Smartasses get killed. We always see to that." — The Legion
Okay. Ask a Mod if specifically focusing on one Survivor who upset you in the past in order to get them out of the game first is targeting.

Admitting to doing it is not breaking the rules, again, their must be evidence :). Also, key word on that is 'repeatedly'. I won't push the matter though, I've seen you be a stickler in other threads. You are certainly consistent.
Okay.
Yes, I'm consistent in what are rules and what are not.
Deliberately targeting someone in several matches is reportable. Whether or not you agree is irrelevant. OP isn't going to be banned for this post, nor should they be unless there is evidence.

Hello, mister Hall Monitor.
Firstly, if the tone of the OP wasn't self-evidently tongue-in-cheek, then I don't think you were paying attention.
Secondly, if having a petty rivalry in a videogame is bannable, go ahead and ban me.
Ditto DCs. I see a survivor do this at least 2-3 times a day. I'd happily accept a ban if they started coming down harder on DCers.
I don't make the rules.

You can admit to a lot of things and not get in trouble, and I'm referring to real world litigation. There needs to be evidence that he's done it, but that's beside the point.
Most killers will remember those special few survivors who are #########, and they will punish them accordingly.
Cool motive, still breaking the rules.

Lets not pretend like these are egregious offenses in the grand scheme of things. I am quite sure he will never be punished for either. Outside of DC penalty, anyway.
It's literally specifically mentioned in the rules of the game.
And they admitted to it.
-
I'm pretty sure you admitted to breaking two separate rules.
- If I remember you as someone who BMed me in the past, you'll get the strongest addons/perks I have available to me, and I'll do my level best to make sure you die first.
That's specific targeting in order to deny an enjoyable experience.
- If you switch to items last second, I may suffer mysterious internet problems or find myself called away on urgent business. You know what you did.
That's DC'ing and we all know that's against the rules.
-
I actually just think even without a Med-Kit, CoH is just too good.

Sorry, just catching up on this thread now.
I take it, performance has dropped in the last couple of patches - we talking since Mid Chapter Patch?
I'll need to put some bullet points together to see exactly where it's dropped....the videos will help, looking at them it seems to be status effects again.
I'll try to bullet point it for you so you can save some time.
- Sloppy Butcher still freezes.
- Dead Hard is not causing as much freezing, but with the new validation, it can cause some upon a false hit.
- Boons being lit causes freezes for both Killer and Survivor, regardless of how close you are to the boon.
- Entering the boon radius has caused occasional hitches as Survivor.
- Cleansing totems causes freezing.
- Kicking a pumpkin causes every player to freeze.
- Launching a Chain with Pinhead will cause a microfreeze.
- Nemesis causes big time freezing upon a successful hit with his Tentacle Strike, usually only on the Survivor end.
- Wraith uncloaking and then successfully hitting a Survivor can freeze the game.
- Hag traps being triggered has frozen my game on occasion. It isn't every time.
- Successful unhooks can cause freezing.
- Doctor still causes huge FPS drops and random freezes. My bet would be on his hallucination affects.
- Huntress Hatches landing will cause FPS drops and freezing.
- Freddy causes FPS drops and freezing upon a successful hit and occasionally when triggering a Dream Snare/Pallet.
- Legion occasionally freezes on the Killer-side when landing a hit in FF.
- Demo's Shred is back doing it's random freezing thing.
- Wraith's Blight Skin causes FPS drops.
- The Blight also causes freezes when he bounces near you.
- Blighted Serum also seems to cause some issues. My bet would be on the particle effects.
- Pinhead's Box Solving teleport can cause the Survivors to briefly freeze if he's too close I think.
That's pretty much everything I have personally observed in my matches and what I can vouch for in good faith. I hope this helps out!

It's the only thing we really have. Killer mains on here would have you believe that playing killer is almost impossible and survivors are super OP. Yet, the stats say otherwise. Of course it's not 100% accurate, but surely the stats would show a lower kill rate if the game was that unbalanced... right? Idk. I personally think it's pretty balanced right now (solo's could even use a buff).
They are completely useless

So you made an excel table and expect me to believe the data is correct? Well, let me make a table showing I've won 2958 games out of 3000 as the Pig, proving you how strong she is.
Well, I haven't stopped recording data.
Also, you seem to be contradicting yourself. Excel tables mean nothing, but you need at least a few hundred games for them to mean something. Which is it? Something or nothing.
Additionally, you asked for me to provide proof. I can't record all of these games. Nor can I record several hundred games and nobody would watch it either.
I've seen you offer up zero proof of your own to support your beliefs, so perhaps it's time to pay up, so to speak.

And I'm the president of the United States, nice to meet you. You have any evidence of your claims?
Here:
This is from my NOED experiment where I played extremely selfishly but wasn't running a meta build. Only Solo Q and only 24 games.
My build was Small Game, Inner Strength, Counterforce and Borrowed Time. In Row 5 I got Hatch.
The checkmarks are when I escaped. X's are when I died.
15/24 = ~63% Escape Rate with a non-meta build on a painfully bad Survivor player.
But these are just my stats from a limited sample size. You asked, and this is all I've got tbh.

I getcha. As I said in what I think was the thread that sparked your interest, I think most survivors should take it on themselves to be responsible for 2 totem locations - by rote, that'd mean all 5 get covered even without communication. My SWF team, even when we're doing SoloQ, tries to stick to that rule.
I'm just intrigued by your data and think another data set of related data would be interesting.
Yeah, for sure.
It'd certainly be helpful if other people cleansed, but most of the time even with Small Game I was running around way too much.
