A FNAF chapter release during the anniversary would be a big jackpot for BHVR, imo. Springtrap as killer, a survivor (just to give the fans an additional reason to play), and a map (pizzeria, or Fazbear's Fright) would be a huge success. The anniversary event would further compel the new players who are FNAF fans to stay. :)
It'd be a nightmare for BHVR, especially at Anniversary.
The creator of FNAF has had some...issues in his past. Considering the nature of these controversies, adding a FNAF chapter for Anniversary (which falls in or near Pride Month) would be a massive slap in the face to a lot of minority communities. It'd be a PR disaster, one that BHVR really can't afford.

Calling people as liar is so rude. But okey.
54K people played this game today. 42K right now. Numbers look pretty good.
Here.

Last time i checked game had +50k players. So i don't think they are going to for this. I guess reason is game breaker bugs.
That's not true. It had a peak of 53K monthly.
It's 30-day average is still down another 1K from February.

half the people who hate fnaf hate it because of the constant spam
-
Re-build the engine.
It's far too restrictive and is clearly causing massive performance issues.

Having played a ton of Sadakos over the past 48 hours, I feel like there are people who know how to use her, and people who try to use her like other killers. The former type are actually pretty challenging to go against. I faced a few that were downright oppressive. The latter really struggle.
People who insist she is bad are clearly in the latter camp. I mean if you keep trying that and don't have success, that's a you problem, not a Sadako problem.
She isn't bad at all.
I don't want to use this argument, but I genuinely do not see how people get any use from her unless the Survivors are just bad.

Maybe The Volatile from Dying Light? Idk what it would do though.
Necromorphs from Dead Space could be freaky.

Whelp...
I just think it's not a bad idea to give them a chance and I mean "them" as in BHVR.
I'm kinda out of free passes when it comes to BHVR.
I'm also out of passes for the FNAF fandom that spams the Forums whenever there's a shadow in a picture on the DBD Twitter.

I mean, even though I don't follow FNAF at all and was kind of a huge anti-FNAF4DBD person, I have to say that franchises can change their premise as time passes.
That's like saying Harry Potter is for kids and yet as the story went by, it became more mature alongside with its readers/viewers. I wouldn't jump to conclusions with FNAF in that regard.
I was actually going to say it started as a fun little project but once they realized what they had, they marketed it to kids, hence where we are now.
It's marketed towards kids as of 2022.

So a game with tons of gore and a man who got spring locked and a guy who lured 5 kids into a room and killed them is a game for kids? Stop. Your making me laugh.
It's target audience is kids. That doesn't make it bad but it's literally marketed towards kids and that's undeniable

Well either way, its up to BHVR and no official statement has been given and was on the official survey so Fnaf can still happen.
If a lot of fans want it and it's something BHVR mentioned/acknowledge, then it's still possible
Nearly everything was on the official survey lmao
There were probably 100 licenses and a few were really questionable

No but I can see you being using the ancient ways of "Sarcasm" to try to get in skin, so I am just gonna roll with that.
I am saying there is a good reason why Jeepers Creepers is not and will never be in DBD.
Anytime I chat with you it turns into a back and forth situation, so just gonna leave it at that
If King and Paulie like to see Fnaf in DBD who are Fog Whispers I am pretty sure Devs would like to have Fnaf in DBD
I'm not being sarcastic.
We know how much BHVR values their Fog Whisperers opinions.

Whats ironic is lot of people did that during Hellraiser lol.
Having 1 killer won't make a difference in the game. 27 other killers so highly likely you won't face him all the time unless its S-Tier.
Unless devs say otherwise FNAF has a chance and due to popularity it will come at some point
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2848698#Comment_2848698
Yeah yeah, bring it up all the time as the "Best reason". Just like Slenderman and many others you had complained about. Fnaf being a kids game is a better reason than that.
Not like Jeepers Creepers issue since that actually makes sense.
Most likely you don't like characters that are overused by content creators cause of "Cringe". Before was Fnaf for kids and now it's about that.
Unlike Jeepers Creepers, Devs never gave an official statement saying no to the chapter so that means [Drumroll] It has a chance.
I don't think Jeepers Creepers makes sense.
Have I upset you in some way?

eh, at this point is gonna happen at some point ever since the hype with Hellraiser. Heck, it was on the official DBD survey so devs are aware of it.
Literally Steve in Smash Scenario. If you like it or not, it's bound to come ingame at some point.
It has too much controversy surrounding its creator.
Adding a chapter during or near Pride Month would be such a slap in the face.
-
It is unironically made for kids tho
FNAF isn't happening for a few reasons.
-
It's not.
-
I don't know why BHVR can't have a separate team working Thursday-Monday or something.
This all sort of ties into how slow BHVR is at getting changes and fixes out. 6 weeks between real patches was alright in 2017, but the game is way too large for it to be acceptable now.
-
It figures that the one instance of there being good breakable walls ends up being bugged.
-
A Killer who's an artist? That sounds cool, surely they'd be a creatively designed and fun Killer.

Me, my cousin and the rest of my family knows that he has epilepsy. We warned him numerous times before but as stubborn as he is, he continues on playing video games. This hasn't been a problem for years because he choose his games carefully and he plays on his own time. I was downstairs when I heard a loud bang coming from upstairs, so I checked upstairs to see what's going on. I was completely in shock when I opened my cousin's door because I saw him on the ground twitching and foaming. I was scared as hell but I knew what I had to do in this situation, so I put him on his side, so he doesn't choke because his tongue could block his airway because he was unconscious and that relaxes the tongues' muscles.
I screamed my mom to call for an ambulance and she did as fast as she could. They arrived quickly and I did whatever I could to assist my cousin. I will not let him die.
Last time my cousin woke up from the hospital, he remembers when the survivors turned on and off their flashlights really fast. I didn't know about this and neither did he. I did some research and to my conclusion, it was survivors on PC using a macro program to use their flashlights at inhumane speeds.
When I got home, I made this post out of frustration. As you can see, I was pissed off, but I really don't know who to blame here... the survivors or BHVR? I couldn't blame my cousin because he didn't know, and I couldn't blame myself for this because I never knew and I never had any of this in all of my matches.
Someone said that I'm a veteran player? This is not true. I barely played dead by daylight and I stopped playing for almost a month now, as I owned this game since December 2021 on Christmas. I don't find it fun anymore and now that I experienced this horrid event, I'll never put a single thought into this game for the rest of my life. I'll occasionally jump on the DbD forums just to read, post or comment, but that's about it.
Thank you

Swamp is nowhere as big as artists and red forest (huntresses map) which is the biggest in-game still.
Old Swamp was bigger.
Eyrie of Crows is 156 sq. tiles.
Mother's Dwelling is 188 sq. tiles.
Old Swamp was 284 sq. tiles.

What is the reason? I'm not a big FNAF fan, but I don't see a reason why we can't have the chapter added to DBD
There are three main reasons why I don't think FNAF will be in DBD.
1.) Poor Gameplay Transfer
I was a kid in 2014 and I played the original FNAF. Didn't like it, I wasn't really into horror at the time. From my recollection, it was pretty much just jumpscares. That doesn't really translate over very well to DBD. I'm sure they could do it, but it'd be a bastardization at best.
2.) FNAF's Community
I am sure BHVR is perfectly aware of the reputation that DBD has in regards to its community. While certainly not the worst out there (looking at you LoL) it's definitely not considered a great one by any stretch of the imagination. BHVR would definitely have to consider FNAF's community's horrible reputation.
3.) Controversy
The creator of FNAF has been involved with several controversial incidents that could upset a lot of minority groups that play DBD. Considering that the chapter would come in or around June (Pride Month) and considering what the creator of FNAF was involved in, it'd be a huge slap in the face.

No you don't.
You literally just said in a previous comment, "I cant be asked to write more about it."
Your entire argument has just been, "I'm right because I said so, prove me wrong."
@StarLost is right. You clearly aren't arguing in good faith.

Because the people who threw around slurs ruined it for everyone else, per usual.

Saw wouldn't work, yet they made it work.
So you are wrong.
SAW was weird because it had a good concept but not one that would seemingly work in DBD.
FNAF is a bad concept that seemingly wouldn't work in DBD AND its surrounded by controversy.

I'm challenging the validity of using only Steams average/peak concurrent player count to reach a rational statement about the state of the game.
Its pretty obvious to me all the people using these numbers have an issue with the game, which they want to say caused the players to drop, but that is no reason to accept sloppy argument from poor research. MMR, Balance, Dead Hard, Cheaters. I've seen it all many times.
All you gotta do to show how useless those numbers are asking, 'How do you know your reason is at fault and not many other reasons/factors?'
They cant say why. Its that bad,
Then ask me.

@_AdamFrancis_ said:

I don't know what your issue is. Let someone have FNAF in the game. If it's that much of an issue to the point where you think it's gonna ruin the game then don't play the game itself.
You've basically only given me, "Well that negative reaction is only here and due to no evidence, fnaf would actually be popular."
FNAF won't work.

If you're going to make public statements then at least have some sensitivity & accountability to the language you use.
Someone who hates something so trivial comes across as a priviliged bell end.

How I can call them out?
Easy, cause I know what their argument are based on and I can point out the flaws in that lack of data and information.
You sound like you expect me to have answers, which is a fallacy, I can point out flaws in an argument without having an argument myself.
So is the playerbase dropping.
Are you contesting their source of information or their conclusions.

Just because its the only public data that exist, does not mean its good or useful data for making your point. I talked to statisticians about this cause I have been attempted to be gaslit by serval community members now, who insisted very strongly their theory were validated, nice conversations really. But to sum up its a problem of looking for data analysis that takes into account other factors as well as complete data. or to put it in another way, You gotta do good throughout research to prove a point, not with poor explanatory power or just because its the only data that we have. We would be better of not doing anything if its not good research.
You see people in this Community bring up these Steamcharts a lot, but all it takes is a few questions to show the poor quality of that data.
In the end its just waste to time trying to back up an suggestion with poor research. BHVR is the only people who have the complete data and they dont share cause the fans are somewhat rapid about this kind of stuff.
There I go again, trying my hardest, to explain why 'number go down' isnt the be all and say all.
Unless BHVR releases numbers, you can't blame people for drawing conclusions from the only data they've been given
-
Should she be buffed? Yes.
Will she? Hard to say.
