Yes it does take too long and compared to other battlepasses is way too grindy
-
To be fair pretty much everyone wants keys changed. The amount of times I’ve had a single person just bail out is ridiculous
-
Yeah I think event items should be safe guarded from prestiging. I’d also put retired items into that category aswell such as common and uncommon map offerings and moon offerings

The thing is, a lot of the time it's latency from the killer. Hit validation does LITERALLY nothing to stop this, when you're on 40 ping facing someone with 160+ from Russia and you get hit through half the main building on Storehouse it's like, what are you supposed to do there? Just play like the killer is 20m behind you?
Yeah that’s true I haven’t noticed a difference in hit with hit validation
-
Love the idea of a killer cosmetic based on their time in the entities realm rather than in their past life. This is really cool but I’d say remove billy in the back since that’s licensed
-
The only hitbox issues are from huntress the rest is just latency
-
I’ll try to just play normally and drop by their chat after the game. Most of them are pretty chill
-
Try playing it as blight or billy
-
That’s pretty cool! Guess we’ll have to look for other hints

They used to have splinters, offerings which let you try killers for free (though no perks or add ons) but for some reason they got rid of those.
I think it would be good to see them come back, and perhaps this time give the killers their 3 default perks to use.
It was always weird they removed them

Nurse tome with no nurse challenge lol!
Oni is the secondary character like Adam and clown were last rift so they get a cosmetic and some challenges too

A combination of it would be perfect for lower rank SWF. That struggle with 3 gens.
But what really blows my mind is, that the devs see the current gen speed and think, that we need something when the killer plays better than the survivors.
Yeah it’s a weird activation method. I’d rather it be forunhooking the survivor yourself so you can be altruistic and then have a reward for doing so
-
Sanctum of wrath. Not a bad map but I don’t understand why I keep getting it

But I love Dead Dawg as a survivor, all it takes is for your team to not be potatoes and it's amazing. Strong windkwsz a couple of decent pallets, some platform gens, bushes to hide in... The only time I feel like it's killer sided is when I'm going against a doctor.
I love it too but a lot of killers can really benefit from the fairly unsafe pallets and small size

Maybe yes, maybe not. It is a clear counter to 3 gen. Since 1 great skill check can give up to 20% progress. Funny how people think, this is weak, and see Pop and think this is strong.
Its kinda weak in comparison to second chance perks and prove thyself imo but we’ll see how it plays out
-
I mean speed limiter or not you did bring a dusty noose which is pretty much equivalent to a pied piper
-
You’re joking right? The only actual nerf he got was removal of his charge time addons ( which had to happen)
Overheat is unnoticeable unless you overuse your chainsaw in bad spots
-
The amount of times I’ve said “ I could win this match but the challenge though” is completely ridiculous
-
These survivors with no protective equipment and very little experience fixing generators. How are their hands not mangled at this point?

i meant the whole time not just rift he didnt get skins way before even first rift started where jeff had some
It did take him awhile but Adam is getting a lot of skins as of late which is great. Jeff hasn’t got one since his mad max style skin which was September if I’m not mistaken

4 token distortion poggers
Maybe 4 aftercare stacks! So useful!
-
Why would you play a character like Jeff then? He has mediocre perks and is terrible in terms of stealth

Yes, we check through fun ratings on occasion looking for information on player perceptions. Please fill these out. :)
Do you base it off maps, killers, perks or all of the above?
-
The dress part can’t really be split up due to how the leg and body pieces are separated
The hair can clip with her backpacks and hat though
-
If rank reset wasn’t a thing everyone would be in red ranks. This would make matchmaking a mess
-
Funny to see how killers react when you do different things. I brought a broken key for a couple of games and the amount of sweat was insane

You think you don't have issues until you see how fast PC can turn. Look at Blight and nurse on pc when compared to console.
Killer specific issues do arise but general lunging is fine. Even curving with billy is never an issue but I rarely play blight or nurse
-
I’ve never had an issue with sensitivity before as an Xbox player
-

Look at dwight stuff on rift it's literally a tiny badge on his default shirt
At least that’s a slightly different colour
-
Doesn’t have a chasing feel to it
-
I guess because Ghostface has to actually hit you as an m1 killer
-
Yeah I’d love more interactive chase music around a killers power
Clown could change if your intoxicated or invigorated
Billy’s could changes when he starts sprinting
Deathslingers could change if he misses
And so on
-
Remember I played against a spirit player who was pretty sweaty. Once we got to endgame after I looped them for a surprisingly long time she picked me up and my teammates began to bodyblock
We managed to all escape after I wiggled out and got messaged by them saying we were a trash SWF. We were all Solos
-
Don’t hold W when in demon dash. Let go of it and yous the strafe keys

That's your problem if you play the way things are out of your control.
You can always be the one doing gens, while killers chases your teammates.
What if the killer comes over to my gen and finds me? I can’t politely ask him to stop chasing me
-
I’m convinced they made all the potential pallet spawns and then forgot to randomise them
-

Yeah they do and that they've kinda embraced as thats just how people play now. It's also much more of an issue if you have teams make builds specific to everyone having all the info.
Yes it’s definitely an issue but the devs would never remove it
-

It is he who has problems with bad teammates and cries for reducing skill demand for survivors.
I personally don't have such problems when playing survivors, as I don't rely on my team in the first place and most of my survivor games have been quite successful
Tbf if you’re looping a killer and only one persons on gens there’s not much I can do to prevent that
Or if I get farmed when I make the mistake of not running DS
These things are completely out of my control
-
@IWasLeft2Die said:
The game isn't designed to have chats because so much that has been out in place only works properly with each survivor having limited knowledge.
BHVR would prevent coms on all platforms if they could but they can't actually do that.
You do realise the devs have streams where they use comms? SWF is part of the game now and it’s not going anywhere
-

That's your problem and it doesn't mean the game should have less skill demand for you.
How are bad teammates his problem?

"Skill" checks are more of an alarm to make sure you are not sleeping.
Run in circles around a piece of plywood until you think you can't make it again or drop it one loop early to play safe.
Then it's just 50/50
Let's take a killer with a fair amount of effort/skill huntress need time to learn how long to hold a hatchet to get the angle she needs to hit
Needs to constantly watch out for los blockers needs to predict where the surivor will dodge of there is a lot of distance on top of doing this 2twice per a surivor while pressing the other 3 survivors
1 killer btw not included blight nurse and the rest of the cast
But there is skill to countering a good huntress as survivor that’s where the skill is
-
Funny on mobile where the set was originally it didn’t have and leg piece. So I guess bhvr just put one in but didn’t actually make one
-
I remember when they reworked doctor they said they removed treatment mode because it was passive. Why does Freddy have sleep cycles then?
-
Fair enough. I hate her and prefer fighting Blight or Oni

That's more the exception not the rule. The vast majority of the maps are terrible.
Definitely. I would love them to hide them better. It just goes to show that dead dawg is effectively the smallest map in the game but still has great totems spawns
-

I suppose "hidden well" is subjective. I lean on the side of those hiding spots still being bad I suppose based on past results.
Some maps like the saloon or lerys have really good hiding spots. I’d argue lery’s totems are actually too hard to find
-
@woundcowboy said:

His power is too easy to dodge. You might as well just play nurse.
Cages really don’t give you much. You can’t see where they are put and many times you actually just send them near a teammate. PH is a pointless killer.
It always put them as far away as possible so with good map knowledge you’ll know the location
-
@Blueberry said:
Hide totems better on some of the older maps, make them way darker and make all totems look dull to survivors (only shows lit to the killer).
Your idea seems to be overcomplicating it a little. I also thinks totems should be cleansable from the very start.
Surely if they are hidden well they don’t need to be darker?
-
Playing greedy against oni is a death sentence. Play safe when he doesn’t have his power to make his life a living hell

That's funny because Coup de Grace doesn't counter Dead Hard. I tested it on KYF and if the survivor Dead Hards your lunge actually stays more or less the same range but you still consume your stack lmao.
Well i guess blood echo and mindbreaker then.
